On Submissions Committee, you write substantive reviews of the best articles submitted to JOLT, helping the Submissions Team make our publication decisions. The time commitment is modest — SC members generally write 2-4 reviews each semester, each taking about five hours — and the work is flexible — you decide which articles you want to review and when. It is a unique opportunity to engage with the latest in cutting-edge law and tech scholarship and make a meaningful contribution to JOLT's publication process.

The Fall submissions cycle opens on August 1, 2023, and runs through September; the Spring submissions cycle occurs in February-March. The bulk of SC work is concentrated during those months.
