[Album] Oscar Scheller mit Details zum neuen Album “HTTP404″

Oscar Scheller hat einen weiteren Song aus seinem zweiten Album “HTTP404″ veröffentlicht, welches am 11.10. digital auf Wichita Recordings erscheinen wird. Für den Song “Estate of Mind” hat Oscar sich Unterstützung von der Musikerin Miraa May und dem Rapper Jevon dazugeholt und damit einen vielseitigen Popsong kreiert.  

Für sein neues Album hat Oscar mit einigen Künstlern zusammengearbeitet, u.a Lily Allen, Kero Kero Bonitos Sarah Midori Perri oder Ashnikko & Havelock. Über das neue Album sagt Oscar: “I’ve been gone for a minute, trying to find myself, and I think I did. I also found a lot of friends along the way. What you’re looking for may not exist how you think it does. It may not even be what you thought it was either. HTTP404 is where I’ve been. But now I’m back online with good enough WiFi and a heart full of love.”

I’m always quick to hit the play button when new Oscar surfaces. It’s cold hard fact that I’ll fall all over again for this deeply resounding voice anew, and his extravagant songwriting, too. On new song Interstellar Disco, the UK artist teams up with honey voiced Londoner PAWWS to lavish us with synth buoyant, glittery bobbing pop. The earworm gem might convey a cheerful disposition on its radiant swinging surface, but the song’s cosmic alignment into existence actually occurred from a darker place. Oscar explains “The day I wrote it was probably one of the hardest days of my life and it means something very special to me. Luckily I was writing with Lucy (PAWWS) who is a musical soulmate and the perfect dance partner. We found a bittersweet escape. It’s there when you need it. It’s a song about a two friends meeting at a fantasy location called the Interstellar Disco. It’s a place you go when the sky feels too low and the universe feels too big and you just wanna forget about everything and dance like Napoleon Dynamite.” Can we visit Interstellar Disco every day, please? The  sweetly caroming song evokes other artists we love, too, like Declan McKenna and Will Joseph Cook. How to Know if Someone Blocked You on Instagram

This wikiHow will show you how to know if someone blocked you from viewing their Instagram profile, effectively stopping you from viewing or finding their stories, profile, or pictures/videos.

Steps

Method 1 of 4:

Checking Your Following List

Tap on your profile at the bottom right of the screen.

Choose “Following” at the top right.

Enter the username that you think blocked you.  If a user blocked you who you used to follow, they should disappear from the “Following” list.

Method 2 of 4:

Checking a Mention

Look for a mention of the user.  It is blue and looks something like this:  @user.

This could be on a photo/video, comment, or bio.

Tap on the mention.  This will open their profile.

If their profile does not open, or opens but you see “User not found”, there is a chance that they may have blocked you.

Method 3 of 4:

Following the Account

Hit the search icon (a magnifying glass). It’s at the bottom of the screen, towards the middle left.

Tap on the search bar. This bar is at the top of the search page.

Enter in search the username of the account that you think blocked you and tap on their username.  If the username disappeared, it means the account was private, and that they likely blocked you.

Check their profile.  If you do not see any followers or fans or photos or bio, that could mean that they potentially blocked you.  That could also mean that they deleted their followers/fans and pictures/videos.

Also, if you see the words “User not found”, they probably blocked you.

Try to follow the account.  If the following button turns back to “follow” after tapping it, then the user probably blocked you.

Method 4 of 4:

Using the Developer Console (Browser)

Navigate to the profile that you think blocked you. Note that you have to be logged in in order for this method to work.

Look for a “404” error. This indicates that the page does not exist. It is the same as the “user not found” in the mobile app.

Open the developer console. To do so, use ⌘ Command+⌥ Option+I or F12.

Look for a “404” error in the console. It should look something similar to this: HTTP404: NOT FOUND - The server has not found anything matching the requested URI (Uniform Resource Identifier).

If you do not see the above message, then there is a chance that you have been blocked.

[News] Oscar Scheller mit neuem Track “1%” feat. Lily Allen

Der britische Musik und Produzent Oscar Scheller (u.a. Charli XCX) präsentiert mit “1%” einen neuen Song, dieses Mal samt prominenter Unterstützung von einer der erfolgreichsten britischen Künstlerin der letzten Dekade, Lily Allen! 

Der Song behandelt eines der aktuell meist diskutiertesten Themen der Popkultur: Wie abhängig sind wir von unseren Smartphones? Diese Abhängigkeit hat Oscar selber oft wahrgenommen und erklärt die Inspiration zu dem Song: “I wrote this song after getting really lost in the suburbs of Stockholm on my way back from the studio cause my phone died [...] It was inspired mostly by a conversation I was having with a girl who was taking ages to reply when I was on 1%. Then I made friends with Lily and thought she’d sound really good on it which she does.”
