There's so much wrong here but first of all, there's nothing wrong with having a fetish. End of statement. If you engage in your fetish in a way where you and anyone else involved comes away from it happy and fulfilled, I do not give a fuck what you're doing behind closed doors.

As for BIID, she didn't mention the outcomes of the two patients who underwent the surgery with that doctor, nor did she mention the outcomes of any other person with BIID who has successfully achieved their goals. I sure as hell can't speak definitively on it either; I've read news articles and everyone in those stories was completely happy with what they'd done to themselves. But that's probably a biased sample group; I imagine anyone who regretted their choices wouldn't be as open to speaking about it.

Basically: there is very little research into BIID because it's so goddamned taboo to even think about, but people who HAVE spoken on it are completely happy with their choices.

This might seem weird to admit but I've had daydreams about going blind or deaf, needing a wheelchair, or losing a limb, and enjoying it, and how I'd live and adapt. I bet a LOT of people have such daydreams, but we're all told it's "gross" and "mentally disturbed" and "mutilation" etc etc, so no one ever talks about this shit.

I also think about voluntary body modification from a sci-fi perspective. If I lived in a cyberpunk world or a future world where cyber limbs were a thing, would I voluntarily go hack off a healthy limb to get a cool robot arm?

Fucking yes I would.

And maybe that's related to my perspective as a trans person who is already completely comfortable with the idea of more "extreme" forms of body modification beyond tattoos and piercings. I don't have any problem with people who get dermal implants or do scarification or who get surgery to turn their ears pointed or who split their tongues, or top surgery or bottom surgery etc etc.

IDK man, my perspective is, it's their body, let them do whatever the fuck they want to it.

any fascinating concept you’re studying?? ummmmm I've just finished all my uni coursework (just finishing up a prac assignment at this rate), but the most interesting thing I got to study this semester was the development of white nationalism as a culture. Feller, I love this question SOFUCKING MUCH. I worked so fuckin hard on it, I even MADE ILLUSTRATIONS. IWORKED. SO HARD. This is one of my favourite questions of all time and I hopeyou like my answers!! Anyway…

Charles doesn’t have any tattoos,and with his dark complexion it might be difficult – the ink of tattoos sitsunder the melanin layer of the epidermis, I’m told, so even white ink doesn’t showup particularly well on very dark black and brown folks. I don’t think he’d bemuch interested in them, either, cuz he wants to be a lawyer, right? So heneeds to maintain some professionalism. He already gets dragged for his hair (whichis some institutionalized racism that he refuse to bow to, in court he wears itin a bun), so he doesn’t really want to stand out any more than he already doesin his profession.

Arthur is a professionalautomechanic and freelance contractor/electrician/plumber, so for him itdoesn’t matter as much. He’s got both ears pierced (3 in his right, 2 in hisleft) and after too surgery he got his right nipple pierced – he only has onenipple, cuz  the left didn’t survive topsurgery, so it’s tattooed on instead. But that’s not his first or only tattoo!

Back when he thought he was justa Butch Lesbian, he got that like, interlocked Female symbols thing tattooed onhis shoulder, which, once he realized he was trans was a HUGE yike for him… hehad a moment where he was like “aw shit” and started cry-laughing about he uglyirony of it. He’s since had that covered up with a rose and horseshoe designand a nice banner that says like, “Keep on Pushin’” or something

Hes also got a Colt Single ActionArmy Peacemaker revolver on his left shoulder blade, mostly cuz he thinks gunsare cool… But also because Peacemaker, and the beatitude goes “Blessed are thePeacemakers, for they will be called Sons of God.” I think he’s not religious, buthe has a lot of Feelings about religion, and that line always stuck with him –to be a son, rather than a daughter, and to be loved by a god he was told hatedhim.

On the back of his calf, he’s gotthe silhouettes of three galloping horses – one for Dutch, one for Hosea, andone for John. Arthur loves horses almost as much as he loves dogs.

When Charles and Arthur get married,they exchange rings, but because of his lifting and working with his hands, hedoesn’t wear it most days; it hangs on a chain around his neck, or lives on thebedside table. He mostly only wears it on his finger on like, SpecialOccasions. To make up for that, cuz he’s so fuckin dumb proud of his beautifulhandsome husband, he of course gets a band tattooed on his ring finger. When hesees it, Charles rolls his eyes and is like “You didn’t have to do that, you’renot gonna forget we’re married,” and Arthur is all “yeah, but I don’t wantANYONE to forget we’re married.”

Javier has one only tattoo, anoutline of the border of Mexico on his chest above his heart. He was born there,and even though they left when he was in his early teens, he had a lot of goodmemories there and it’s his home and he loves it.

When his mama saw it, she cried –she’s religious, your body is a temple, you damaged the body I gave you, etcetc. She never really lets it go but they get over it and she still loves him.

I save John for last cuz Johnis…. A mess.

I think John got his first stickn poke when he was like, 14, and has made a lot of Bad Choices since then… He’sgot a lot of random shit he thought was cool or edgy at the time and low-keyregrets now.

Notably, he’s got a little bow,like the bow on a pair of panties, on his lower tummy, right in the public area;his happy trail grows over it if he doesn’t shave it, but he does…He’s also gota cherry on his hip, and the word “fag” on his upper thigh (when Javier askedhim about that one, he kinda clammed up, didn’t wanna talk about it… he’sembarrassed of that one, knows it wasn’t a healthy way to cope with hisfeelings but it’s there and a part of him and he refuses to regret it).

And then just like, a randomassortment of things; a dead opposum on his calf, a skull on his shoulder, ahanging tree on his bicep, a set of fangs… I think he’s got a wolf somewhere, too.The Wolf is important, cuz he’s been afraid of dogs since he was a kid, sincehe got attacked, and getting that one was like, part of him claiming his past andhis trauma and conquering it.

He also definitely, definitelyhas knuckle tatts that say like, WOLF KING. And I think, underneath it all,being so tatted is a defense mechanism for him, like, if he’s tatted andpierced, people will be looking at that, instead of his scars or the small,scared kid that he still has inside him…. Idk

Cuz yeah, he’s also pierced. He’sgot his bellybutton and tongue done for thotty reasons, and then probably alabret, a nostril ring, and then a helix or something. He’s also got plugs,though they’re not super huge; at max he’s maybe a 0? I think he’s kind ofafraid they’ll catch on something as he runs…

He’s also super horny for like,genital piercings. Basic Information

Full Name:  Orianna Marie Lopez - Orianna was her grandmother’s name. It is of Latin origin, and it means  sunrise  . Her mother always thought the name was suitable for her because Orianna was constantly looking towards the start of something new.  

Nickname(s): Ori is her pet name, and the name most referred to. However, she is also widely known as the  Poker Princess  . Although she detests the  princess   part, Orianna obtained the name because of her exclusive and decadent poker games that she has been hosting for several years now.  

Age:  She is twenty-four years old. She may be young, but she is highly intelligent and considers herself a bit of an intellectual despite her age. Orianna doesn’t think of her age so much, but rather focuses on what she strives to accomplish.  

Date of Birth: Orianna was born on May 3rd, 1997. Oddly enough, she was born right at  sunrise   which is also rather suitable given her name.

Hometown: Orianna was born in Beverly Hills, California. She lived in California for most of her life, until she was eighteen. That’s when she moved to Las Vegas. If there is a place that feels like home for her, it is Las Vegas.  

Current Location: Queens, New York. She moved to New York when her game in Las Vegas was burned out by a vindictive player and an upset friend. Her goal is to build her game from scratch this time (rely on no players or ex-bosses for a contact list) and be the largest poker game in the city.  

Gender: Female. I can’t say more than that.

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. She prefers the company of men. She hasn’t had many relationships, but Orianna prefers men. One in particular. 😏

Occupation: Orianna manages and operates an exclusive and high-stakes poker game every week with a 250K buy-in. She started this back in Las Vegas and learned about poker from her ex-boss. When he tried to fire her and make her work without pay, Ori retaliated by relocating the game and offering the players a better place to play. Unfortunately, she was burned out after a couple of years and now built her new poker empire in New York.  

Living Arrangements: Orianna technically has two residencies. She has a condo in Las Vegas and a condo in Queens. She maintains both residencies and continues to try and operate both games. Since New York has the larger stakes, she tends to mostly reside in New York. However, she does travel back to Las Vegas every two weeks to maintain her connections there.  

Language(s) Spoken: Orianna may have been born here, but her family switched between English and Spanish. This led Orianna to the opportunity to have learned both growing up. In school, she studied French and still knows a little. Enough to impress.  

Accent: Since she grew up in California, Orianna has a vernacular that matches. It adjusted a little when she moved to Vegas, and even in New York, she is quickly adapting. Her voice is soft and sweet-sounding, but she shows that she’s from SoCal.

Tattoos: She has four tattoos. The first is “MCMLXIV”, located on her right forearm. It’s the number 1964, which is a period she feels connected to. The second is the “rose” behind her left ear. She also has a “hand-poked” tattoo on her back that she got in Bali one year during her travels. Lastly, she has a little rune symbol on her left side of her ribcage.  

Piercings: Orianna has her ears and cartilage pierced.  

Clothing Style: Orianna is a fashionista, as soon as she started making good money she acquired a taste for the finer things. She is often seen wearing Chanel, Dior, Guess, and several other big-name fashion designers.  

Favorite Accessories: Her Chanel earrings and a particular golden locket that she received from her mother. Although Orianna is constantly seen interchanging these accessories, those two specific items is what she wears the most.  

Distinguishing Characteristics: Her slim and narrow facial features. They bring out the ovals of her brown eyes and plump straight lips. Orianna can smile, but she wears a poker face at all times.  

Health: Despite her addictions that are in play (and more coming later), Orianna is in good health. She did suffer scoliosis when she was twelve and had back surgery for it. After she re-injured her back later in life, she dropped out of the Olympics team.  

Physical Conditions: Orianna had scoliosis when she was twelve. She had back surgery to repair it. However, when she re-injured her back, it was decided that Orianna would no longer be able to compete in gymnastics anymore.  

Mental Health Conditions: Orianna suffers from perfectionism. People with perfectionism hold themselves to impossibly high standards. They think what they do is never good enough.  

Allergies: Orianna doesn’t have any specific allergies.  

Sleeping Habits: Orianna is awful at sleeping, especially because of the games. Sometimes, the games run for days, and because there are so many things to monitor and keep track of, Orianna often finds herself staying awake for days and then sleeping for a couple.  

Eating Habits: Orianna has healthy eating habits, mostly. She loves pasta most of all and coffee. She usually loves anything carbs and has an affinity for Italian or Mexican food. The best way to make her happy is to put a plate of either pasta, tacos, or pizza in front of her.

Exercise Habits:  Orianna runs regularly and goes to the gym, but she doesn’t  overly   work out. She maintains her figure and hopes that working out will help lessen the side effects of her bad habits, but Ori doesn’t believe she overly has to try to stay fit.  

Addictions: We’ll get more into her drug use below, however, she does have an addiction to gambling to some extent. Though she doesn’t play the game herself, Orianna acquires a constant need for winning, and a certain high/low depending on the outcome of her poker game turnouts. She becomes very addicted to the money and lifestyle that the games give to her, to the point that it becomes obsessive for her to keep these things.  

Drug Use: At the present, Orianna is only addicted to Adderall. However, over time she begins to take cocaine and Vicodin. Eventually, she mixes all three and starts losing track of what she is even taking. This happens around the time the Russian mob starts to interfere with her game.  

Alcohol Use: To go with her drug habits, alcohol has always played a heavy part in Orianna’s life. It was one of her earlier addictions, but because it didn’t help her stay awake, she turned to alternatives. Her favorite drink is  any type of wine  .

My Transition.

...hope this helps someone. I've put a lot of thought into writing this and my transition.

I just started dressing full time for 2 weeks now. I had to build up the courage and strength for a long time before even considering it. It came about one day where enough was enough.

Previously, I had a harassment case at work, where someone was making comments about my gender and riding my ass (no pun intended) since I started working there. The very first person I came out to was my lead supervisor. He was very supportive about this issue. I let him know what was going on with me and he had to report it to my shift supervisor. He was supportive as well.

How my supervisors handeled this situation gave me the strength to know the time was right. I just had to have the courage, to deal with everything that will come after, once I make this choice. Now if you know me, I'm stubborn and once I set my mind to something, I don't give up. Now this shit right here: is a major choice. I mean there's no going back. It's either work or life suicide. There will be so much repercussions to a major choice like this.

I couldn't even get my head around it. I mean I'm passable and gone out before but to do it full time? You got this, I said. The hardest thing would be passable but what is passable? To me it was looking the best I could as a woman from head to toe. From everything I've learned and soaked in all my life, from observing every woman in my life, I felt confident in this department.

Shopping spree and acquiring everything needed was already done but it's never done right? There's just so many things I want to buy. I'm a bargain hunter on designer brands so at least I got taste. Expensive taste but hey why not? This girl deserves it. I can spoil me. I work hard for that money. Well, I've compiled plently of outfits, to not wear the same thing in a few weeks time twice. Just need more shoes! Omg, there are so many shoes I want. All that was left was getting the right make up and the last essentials.

I already had my belly button pierced and 2 piercing in both ears prior to coming out. I think this was the start of my transition... At least in my head it was when I started it. I had my tounge pierced already and my left ear but wanted to feel complete. I just had to acquire ear rings to go with my new outfits. This makes a difference in your beauty believe me. I guess the next thing on my list is a 3rd piercing in the ears and ho stamp here I come!

I'm not ready for tattoos yet. When I do I'm getting things that I would have been laughed at for having before. Such as butterflies. To me I'm transforming into something beautiful. This will be a way to express my transition from a caterpillar to a butterfly. My personal beauty that's inside that can finally shine because baby I'm a firework.

Well, I handeled that situation at work, but still had to continue on with the next step that i wanted to achieve. My transition.

I was thinking about this for so long. Reading everything I could about mtf transition. Re-reading everything I've read years before. I had so many questions. What do I say or how do I go about it? How do I tell my family? How do I tell my friends? Will any of the mentioned be left afterwards. God so much fear. So many worries. Not to mention how to tell the most important people to me my wife and sons.

With all these worries, I had nothing but time to think, at work and at home in my head always thinking about this. Consuming every minute of thoughts enough to make me burst in tears. Why now? I ask. I ended up trying to find out all the information I could on legalities of name changes. How to make it official as far as I can with everything I could think of. How to blend my past life with my new life. Work history, job skills, college experience, and anything else you could think about.

There's so much to plan out it can become overwhelming. There's so much to your transition, that you need to think about, to know what your getting yourself into. It costs so much to be a girly girl, diva, or supermodel.

-Just don't fool yourself. It may not be right for some. Mainly because your features may not be feminine enough. Hey, I know it hurts to hear, but for some it may not be achievable. You know I'm right. If I'm wrong then...

You can achieve it. Through all the steps in your transition you will become that woman you want to be. Just plan it out and what's not planned you'll learn along the way. Just trust in yourself. It's you that wants to change. Results may vary.

Don't think that you will get immediate results. It takes time. Rejoice in each change you see. Cry when you need to and have ice cream ready. I haven't cried so much lately I think I'm making up for all the years I haven't. And just think...I haven't even started estrogen!

Now just think, you will go thru another puberty, that lasts as long as what another female goes through. It may be 10 full years, that go by, when you look at yourself in the mirror and your not the same person as at the start of this journey.

Embrace it ladies and look back at the old you. See how far you've come and the many changes in your life that's happened. Just remember the old you..  don't forget it. Please. Come to terms to say goodbye to that person. In reality you are killing them off, to become that woman that was inside, but yet it is you that's still inside.

Well then the day finally came. I finished sewing clips into my extensions, over the weekend, and wore them into work one day. The next day I visited the salon to get my hair did. Mind you for the 1st time in my life. I let my hair grow for 15 years and came into the salon with virgin hair. The girls rejoiced and I was happy with the finished results. Dyed to hide the gray, highlights with tones, and ombre with blonde. Extensions were dyed the same as my hair. I felt so beautiful and the best part... I was dressed as a woman. Yet, I didn't have the confidence, to fully walk out of my home like that or back into it. I threw man's clothes over me so the neighbors wouldn't see me like that.

Although I made it through that experience I couldn't go into work dressed as a woman that day. Yet each day I slowly progressed becoming that woman I would become. With each day my coworkers were starting to become aware of my changes.

The mask had to come off. I was tired of the sarrades, of trying to hide any girl features that would be seen by anyone, when I was a man. Or worrying about if anyone seen me as a girl when I was dressed at home or out in town.

I've dressed at home always before stepping out. It became a half and half thing in my daily life. Maintain a guy appearance at work and girl appearance at home. This was the only way to keep a balance in my life up to this point. Also to have some sanity to keep my mind right with the struggles I would face inside.  Maintaining this balance was the best I could do up to this point.

After coming out at work I slowly implemented it. I didn't want to completely shock everyone with such a drastic change. They knew or suspected something but the mold was coming undone. I knew it was time to stop fooling myself as well.

I can say that I have a great job, where my coworkers are accepting and the company is a LGBT friendly place. If my coworkers are not accepting then they are just tolerating the change. The company's ethics policy protects me being a member of the LGBT community and the way I am so I'm thankful for that. I know it was a shocker for some but this day and age most people are more accepting than if I came out 10 years ago.

Ive been a crossdresser for over 15 years. I think the biggest pain was suppressing it for the past 10 years. It was not healthy mentally. I'm sure it's taken a toll but I know what I want and who I am now. I'm on a transition to mtf. I'm not having any doubts. I've lived half my life as a guy and now it's time to be a woman. I've suppressed her for half my life. I've shared her in this body.

It was like I couldn't just throw her and all the clothes into a box and hide her away. I would always come back to it. It to me was a fetish at 1st. Next was attraction and being with men. Later in life, finding out how I felt all along since a teenager, was that I had gender dysphoria. There was nothing wrong with me or how I felt inside. There was nothing wrong with the stages of this developing from crossdressing to transition.

Now it's her time and he can share or fade away. I look forward to the new me. I know the HRT will help. The progesterone as well. Surgeries when I have enough saved in my HSA. Also having good healthcare. I have support. Friends, they'll be there or I'll make new ones. Family, they will accept me or reject me. I just hope they know I love them and I'm the same person inside. Just changes to the outside from what I feel inside.

I hope this helps anyone in need or that's in the same shoes as me. I know what your dealing with and your not alone. There's always someone that can help. Just reach out for someone like you. You are beautiful.

Met someone who changed you: define changed me. you always can learn something from people, and change as a result. even if it is just a student teacher relationship or boss and worker relation shop etc. Depends on what you mean. Like hella changed you heart and soul, then no. But small changes, then yes I guess. But generally no people I have met have made me become a whole different person. 

20. Found out who your friends are: yep. only one left irl I reckon, and maybe a former friend from high school, we talk sometimes and hopefully can reconnect soon. Oh wait, maybe two others, but haven’t talked in ages, so idk. But apart from those four, I’ve just given up with the others as it is just one way, and they obviously don’t give that much of a shit about me to bother to talk to me.

25. What did you do for your last birthday: I don’t remember. I think I was doing this course thing, and then I tried taking the bus home, but stuff happened, was kind of cheesed off. I did get myself i doughnut I think. Was good. I can’t remember what I did when I got home, but my mood changed, and I was happy again. So whatever I did in the afternoon/evening must have been good. Maybe watched some tv IDK.

What time did you wake up: haha, not as early as yesterday or tomorrow as I got to sleep in a bit as I had to go to a meeting about a possible job/traineeship thing (which is good, so I can get out of volunteer stuff and finally have my first paid job thing). My Fitbit says 6:42am, but that wouldn’t be correct, that isn’t when I woke up, but when I checked my phone before I got up. Maybe 6:20amish. But around 6:40 yeah. 

27. What were you doing at midnight last night: According to my fitbit I fell asleep at 23:59pm so I might have been asleep if the fitbit is correct. So either sleeping or trying to sleep, and just being still so it records as sleeping haha.

28. Name something you can’t wait for: a job, or the xmas special for dr who, but I also don’t want the xmas special as I am not ready for Capaldi to go. But it sounds good. I love multi doctor stories. First Doctor and Twelfth Doctor. Can’t wait, but also DON;T GO!!! haha
