If he adopted you, imagine his face lighting up like New Years Eve fireworks the very first time you call him "Dad"/"Pops" etc. He is just so thrilled, so honored to have earned that title from you; maybe he even tears up a bit in front of you or perhaps later when he's alone, overwhelmed with the sense of honor, gratitude, pride, you've given him.

If you only ever call him by his first name, for whatever reason, just know he's still so proud to have such a close bond with you and no, he doesn't mind that you don't call him "Dad" or anything like that! Your comfort matters most!

Think of the way his eyes crinkle, how he smiles, the pride and warmth in his voice whenever he introduces you as his kid. He can't get enough of it, can't get enough of calling you his- he loves you so much! If he has a phone, you just KNOW you're his wallpaper and if he's just got his wallet, know your picture is in there ;w; ♡

Think of your father f/o telling you he's so, so proud of you after you tell him about how you've overcome a recent struggle in your life; think of him urgently reminding you that he's always there for you if you ever need him. He wants to fix everything for you, and while he knows he can't, that doesn't mean he won't try his hardest to help you when you ask him for it!

If you're currently going through something hard, please think of telling your father f/o; just clarify what you need from him and he's happy to do it- listen, comfort, offer advice- he's just eager to do what he can for you to make you feel seen and heard, to validate your struggles and to help you overcome them however he can ;--; ♡

Consider how his voice changes when he talks about you / talks directly to you vs when he talks to other people; how his voice softens / quietens because of you ;w; ♡

If you're a person who menstruates, please know he is 100% that Dad that will happily go out and get whatever products, medication, treats you need to feel as comfortable as you can during this time!! He isn't embarrassed to be seen with anything that will ensure you'll have a better time handling this huge inconvenience/burden on your body!!! If he could take away the pain he would but he can't so hes happy to just get you what you need and hold you on the sofa if you want and tell you it's okay to cry it out if that'll make you feel better; he isn't going to judge you, he just wants his kiddo to feel better soon ;w;!!

If you're queer, think of your father f/o wholeheartedly accepting you as you are, just happy and honored and grateful you trust him enough to come out to him- if you change your pronouns he of course will do his best to use these new ones- it doesn't matter what you identify as now, what matters is that you're still and always will be his kiddo ;w;!!

If you live with your father f/o, think of all the little moments like...

-catching him asleep on the sofa and putting a blanket over him- only for him to wake up later with his heart warm and full of love and appreciation for you ♡

-watching him shave in the bathroom mirror (and maybe helping him do so or!!! Learning how to shave from him if that applies to you!)

-think of stealing his favorite hoodie/jacket/jumper when he isn't using it so you can smell his cologne and feel comforted by it when he's not around; imagine his laughter over finding you wearing it, letting you keep it until he inevitably reclaims it :>

-imagine him taking care of you while you're under the weather and vice versa ;--;!

-consider helping him fix things up around the house! Even if it's just you bringing him water to stay hydrated, it's still helping and he appreciates you looking after him!

-him gently waking you up in the mornings. Maybe he sits beside you and pets your hair as he softly calls out to you and, with a big smile on his face as you wake up, he reaches out and ruffles your hair, telling you something like, "morning sleepy head, breakfast is ready." Alternatively: think of waking him up in the morning! Maybe you do the same to him or maybe you lay down beside him and pat his arm; think of him wanting to snuggle with you for five more minutes before you two finally get up for the day ;w; ♡

-his eyes lighting up whenever you come home; he's always so relieved and happy to see you home safe!!!

-if you're into photography, think of getting candid shots of him reading, resting, cooking in the kitchen, etc. and showing him your photography- he's always surprised and pleased you took time to capture a moment of him, touched you found him worthy of making your subject--- if he's into photography, think of him paying the favor back to you, telling you how lovely you look in the picture he shows you!

-your father f/o taking time out of the day to give you affection.

If you enjoy physical affection most, please think of him giving/ asking you for lots of warm hugs, gently patting/rubbing your back, ruffling your hair, playfully poking and teasing/tickling you when you least expect it (if you're okay with that ofc!), giving you kisses on the cheek, the top of your head, your forehead, snuggling with you on the sofa, holding your hand (or you hold his pinky ;w;) / interlocking arms in public depending on what you'd prefer, etc ♡

If you enjoy verbal affection most, think of him often telling you "I love you", calling you sweet endearments (I'd try to list some but everyone's different, I know each of you have your own preferences lol), telling you he's grateful for you when you do things for him without him asking, him praising you for the effort you put into dressing up any given day, telling you he enjoys getting to spend time with you, etc ♡

If you enjoy both in equal or varying measures then, well, you've a lot to think about :D!

Take a moment to ponder over his hobbies and then consider participating in some of those with him... below are some examples :>

If he's a music listener, think of listening together, maybe singing together along to the songs, not a care in the world! If he plays an instrument, I just know you're his favorite audience! If you also play an instrument, guess what? He'd love to play with you!

Does he play chess or cards? Imagine playing cards with him or better yet, him teaching you how to play! He's proud of you for holding your own against him in a game and yes! Always proud of you for winning when you do!

Is your father a motor head? Think of him teaching you how to fix his car, telling you someday when you're old enough (or lol when he's old enough) it'll be yours so you have to learn how to take care of it. Think of him helping you fix up your first car or bike with you.

Perhaps he's a fisherman! If he is, take time to think of going fishing together. If you don't like to fish, you can still take a book with you to read aloud to your father f/o while he's got his line in the water- I know he'd appreciate you doing that ♡

Maybe he's a cook- if so, I just know he'd enjoy having you in the kitchen assisting him if you'd like or just hanging out to chat while he cooks- he loves your company regardless of whether or not your contributing to what he's doing.

Is your father f/o into theatre arts / cinema / is he an artist? I just know he'd love to take you to the opera or theatre to enjoy a play / musical / movie with you, especially so y'all can discuss yalls feelings and insights on the themes / messages / physical effects / etc. of the show! He values your opinions and always wants you to feel safe sharing them! As for art, I just know you'd be his wonderful muse and he'd love to teach you how to paint/draw if that is something you wanted!

If you have a shared hobby/interest, by golly, think of him excitedly sharing this with you!! He loves sharing this with you, loves growing with you in experience & mastery of this hobby / diving deep into this topic with you!

Think of him encouraging you to chase after your goals / interests / dreams! He's happy to sit down with you and plan with you about how you can achieve those; your happiness is his happiness! If you ever change your mind about pursuing something, know he'll understand and that he only cares about you not giving up on something that truly is attainable ;w;

Think of your father f/o cracking those infamous "dad jokes" on you! Even if you don't like them, just know that he apprecites you pretending to think they're funny on his behalf :>!

If you're ever scared or anxious about something, just know your father is ready to hold you and protect you the best he can; he'll always be there to encourage you to try your best to be brave and remind you it's okay to be scared, it's okay to be anxious- just do your best to make it through okay and things will be better- he knows it will because he believes in you ♡

If you have a romantic f/o, just know your father f/o will do his best to try and get along with them for your sake if he doesn't automatically 'click' with them! The fact that they make you happy is enough for him to like them enough! Alternatively, if your father f/o and your romantic f/o get along well, think of your father f/o flustering you on purpose by calling your romantic partner his future kid ;3c

If you have sibling f/os that share your father f/o, think of him being careful to make time just to spend it with you and you alone so you don't feel ignored or overlooked!!!! He may love you all equally but that doesn't mean he won't do his best to make sure you feel special in his eyes!

Have you thought about going out on the town / leaving the house with your father f/o yet? If not! Now you should :D! Let me help...

Think about going to the local diner with your father f/o! If you dont mind it, he's always happy to order for you! Maybe he wads up the paper coverings for the straws to playfully flick it at you or to engage you in a game of tabletop soccer! Even if you're grown and have a job of your own, he still insists on paying but gets really soft when you sometimes sneakily beat him to it ♡

Please imagine going grocery shopping with your father f/o! Maybe you divide the list and conquer, maybe you stick together and tackle one item at a time. Is he the type to sing along to the overhead songs playing? Is he the type to do a little fun ditty of a dance in the aisle???????? do you join him if so 👀???? Or do you get embarrassed and pretend you don't know him :3c? He'll stop after a while don't worry! He just wants to make you smile ♡

Perhaps you go on a little road trip! If so, think of him driving (or letting you drive if you're legal) with a smile on his face as you sing out-loud to the songs on the radio. Maybe y'all have a special playlist of y'all's favorite songs on it!

Planned Father & kiddo outings!! Maybe it's the museum, maybe dinner, maybe the cinema-- wherever it is, just know he won't let his own worklife make him reschedule this outing with you! He always looks forward to these planned adventures with you and will always, always keep you safe ♡

y'know part of me felt kinda bad for glitchy red because he was quite literally the reason why i ended up liking sun and moon red and he basically overpowered him ahuhudsa but i guess i can kinda thank the mod for being the catalyst for me to really get into pokemon again because before this i was not even touching pokemon since... i was a teenager.

the moment i saw red, i just knew i was gonna like him. no rhyme or reason apart from the fact he's super handsome and adorable as an adult (and my silly taste for brunets <3) and im absolutely here for it :] i'm really thankful i have friends who really supported my goofy admiration for him and helped me create what would be known today as appleshipping~ i have so much funny and heartwarming memories with him (like that time i fell asleep to his battle ost on discord calls many times 😭😭😭)

i remember dreading the fact, learning that i may never meet red properly in sun and moon (emulator on pc isn't really my preferred place to play unless i have no choice) but ohh man, what a blessing my classmate was to be a pokemon fan who had a 3ds with all sun and moon (and ultra) copies with him and since he had already finished all games years back - he happily allowed me to borrow his 3ds and reset his ultra sun file for me to play <3 i can't thank him enough for it, and it was simply because he wanted me to experience it. not only was it my first time to use a 3ds, but my first game would also be where i get to meet my hubby in game, and in a REAL console. it feels so cool, it definitely beats that feeling of using emulators.

i also remember eagerly making my way to the battle tree and even recorded my live reaction when he was actually there aeheheh im shy to share it but trust me when i say i was so squeaky and audible when he appeared... all im saying, im just happy i had a fun experience as a fan and as a selfshipper :]

alright, anyways - i like love red so much, as a character and someone i find pretty appealing eahudhuahf he looks so huggable and warm like a cozy snorlax sleeping in the winter night. i love his quiet but determined demeanor. it stands out from the rest of the characters and even if he was a protagonist at first, he's treated as a really cool legendary trainer that many characters respect and it just adds to the appeal (for ya girl, at least ehe). while many prefer his battling prowess, i love thinking of his emotional side, i think there's a lot to dissect there especially as a character who's silent most of the time, and of course when you're in a relationship its all about the connection and communication amirite ehhehafs ... while i'm a bit sad he's not really a popular character at the moment, at least he and my friends would know i'm (definitely) his biggest fan ehehee (twirls hair)

Think of the way her eyes crinkle, how she smiles, the pride and warmth in her voice whenever she introduces you as her kid. She can't get enough of it, can't get enough of calling you hers- she loves you so much! If she has a phone, you just KNOW you're her wallpaper and if she's just got her wallet in her purse, know your picture is in there ;w; ♡!

Think of your mother f/o telling you she's so, so proud of you after you tell her about how you've overcome a recent struggle in your life; think of her urgently reminding you that she's always there for you if you ever need her. She wants to fix everything for you, and while she knows she can't, that doesn't mean she won't try her hardest to help you when you ask her for it!

If you're currently going through something hard, please think of telling your mother f/o; just clarify what you need from her and she's happy to do it- listen, comfort, offer advice- she's just eager to do what she can for you to make you feel seen and heard, to validate your struggles and to help you overcome them however she can ;--; ♡

If you're a person who menstruates, please know she 100% has got you covered regarding products, medication, treats--- whatever you need to feel as comfortable as you can during this time!! -her eyes lighting up whenever you come home; she's always so relieved and happy to see you home safe!!!

-her gently waking you up in the mornings. Maybe she sits beside you and pets your hair as she softly calls out to you and, with a big smile on her face as you wake up, she reaches out and pushes your fringe off your forehead, telling you something like, "morning sleepy head, breakfast is ready." Alternatively: think of waking her up in the morning! Maybe you do the same to her or maybe you lay down beside her and pat her arm; think of her wanting to snuggle with you for five more minutes before you two finally get up for the day ;w; ♡

-think of stealing her favorite cardigan/ hoodie/jacket/jumper when she isn't using it so you can smell her perfume and feel comforted by it when she's not around; imagine her laughter over finding you wearing it, letting you keep it until she inevitably reclaims it :>

-consider helping her fix things up around the house! Even if it's just you bringing her water to stay hydrated, it's still helping and she appreciates you looking after her! If you're capable of fixing things yourself for her, just know she's so grateful to you and your help ;--;!

-catching her asleep on the sofa and putting a blanket over her- only for her to wake up later with her heart warm and full of love and appreciation for you ♡

-overhearing her singing your praises on the phone / while she has friends over- it's hard for her not to bring you up in conversation because you're her whole world and she is always proud and excited to share nice things you've said or done recently!

I just know she'd love to take you to the opera or theatre to enjoy a play / musical / movie with you, especially so y'all can discuss yalls feelings and insights on the themes / messages / physical effects / etc. of the show! She values your opinions and always wants you to feel safe sharing them! As for art, I just know you'd be her wonderful muse and she'd love to teach you how to paint/draw if that is something you wanted!

Perhaps she's into crocheting/sewing/mending etc! It's a vital art form to create new beloved clothing and to upkeep old, precious ones- if you're not into it, please think of sitting close by and chatting or listening to music with her while she works- just know that if you have a book with you, she'd enjoy hearing you read aloud to her! If you are into it or want to learn, she'd be so thrilled to split up projects with you or to teach you what she knows!

Is your mother f/o a collector? If so, think of having lots of fun on the weekends going to thrift shops, antique stores, and garage sales together to search for what she collects! She always appreciates how keen an eye you have for helping her spot what she's looking for and she loves surprising you with little gifts from y'all's searches whenever you take interest in something ♡

Is your mother f/o a gardener? If she is, do you ever help her in the garden with the weeding, sowing, watering, and layout planning? What do you plant together? Shocking Surprise! More of me blabbing about the best character in Homestuck! Extra, extra! Read all about it!

I'm thinking about how June would be if we were together and walking through LOWAS,, I swear this isn't any bias, she just objectively has the most gorgeous land in any canon SBURB session. Even in fanprojects like Genesis, there's nowhere as beautiful as the land she was given.

I mean, look at that dude!! Check it!

Especially after the three-year journey, I'm sure this place isn't one of her favorite places to go..

Yeahyeah I found it!! Here's the whole scene!

I'm gonna pull this idea a good bit, especially since what sparked this daydream is from the ending bit

I've never actually read crow strider unfortunately, I only know of this scene because davejade is one of the ships that keep my blood pumping

But yeah!! I feel like she deserves her time to wander around freely with someone she loves too,, it's her land, after all

If I could, I'd do this whole scene except as a surprise for her!! We could have some blankets set out, maybe a movie going, some snacks! Probably not a movie she liked as a kid, but maybe a newer one to give her something else to be interested in! I'd love to be able to dance with her while the fireflies watch,, maybe being blown around by the wind a bit,,

I want her to have happy memories on LOWAS, I'd like to turn this place she was thrown upon, into a safe space for us to hide in, somewhere familiar yet new. About her old house, I'm not sure if that could be recovered, but LOWAS itself has so much beauty she never got to see,, constantly running from Jack Noir and being trapped in a depressive episode for three long years,,

That's actually what I made this art for! This was forever ago but it's supposed to be me and her flying on LOWAS. We're both breath players,, but I'm a page so I think I'd have a harder time learning to fly, so she's teaching me!

I think that's a good example of what I mean by good memories,, I wouldn't want her to get caught up in her death on the quest bed, or having to duel with Typheus, or watching the wildlife burn from the red miles. I'd like to slowly see these horrible recollections be replaced with walking through the nature, getting some quality time, finding peace in the sounds of the salamanders,, y'know?

Man, I got totally sidetracked,,

It's a shame this is all wishful thinking,, These are just daydreams, she's not real unfortunately. I've been a selfshipper since I was like 7 years old, I'm not completely in an echo chamber lol
