Eden remembered it like if was yestarday

When he looks himself in the mirror,his clothes and makeup

ripped black jeans,black heeled boots,the black lace shirt and the Vivianne Westwood Jacket that Nellie gifted him in the morning

The colourful hair extensiones from his collection (this time the extensions are light blue,purple and pink) combined with his dyed blue reflects,perfect for his next perfomance in the beach of naha

But...he remember someone

Today it's his birthday,one year ago that winter

that winter where Eden losed he who he loved...Makoto who now was six feet under and all by her fault

Eden looked at the guitar,the instrument decorated blue and white like sea,the sea Makoto loved

He loved his guitar but bring him memories

memories of two boys,one blonde and other with black hair,the blonde writting something in a notebook hearing music with headphones and the black-haired playing a blue and white guitar, sometimes looking each other with love

And memories of a snowy street with the same boys of before but now both was screaming, an argument,when Eden said those words...those words that he lament until today

That winter....where Eden's boyfriend commit suicide after an argument

Eden blinked feelings the begins of tears...in a suddenly sadness he taked the guitar and hugged it talking

"i'm sorry Makoto, i'm sorry for said you it...i still loving you even after i did that day so if you hate me... please forgive me"-Eden's voice was sadness and broken but he hearded a sound from his phone

This time with a little smile Eden said to the guitar

Eden turned to his bedroom door

"i swear i hearded something...maybe is because the loud music in my headphones"-he said and out from his house to naha

now let's just imagine kyotani. pissy "doesn't give a fuck bout anyone" kyotani. he's crude and brash and intimidating. you'd think he'd date someone equally terrifying, right? wrong. just imagine kyotani's teammate's surprise when you pop into the gym during their practice. they're all a bit confused, as far as they knew, you weren't super close with anyone on the team?

"(name)-chan? what're you doing here?" oikawa asks, approaching you while you patiently wait by the gym doors.

"sorry to interupt, oikawa-kun, but kyo-kun forgot his shoes at my house!" you say, holding a pair of volleyball shoes up.

you. (name.) the (name) that bakes cookies for classmates' birthdays? the same (name) that volunteers at the animal shelter in his spare time? the same (name) that'll offer to tutor kids after school? yeah.

everyone pauses. kyo-kun?

"eh? who—" but oikawa gets cut off when kyotani walks over.

"you could've texted me," he grumbles, taking the shoes surprisingly gently from your hands.

"i did! you didn't reply. . ." you sigh. shit. his phone was off, tucked away in his locker. . . "oh. sorry." he pauses for a second, before leaning over to give you a kiss on the cheek. "thanks for bringing em."

you just smile, giving him a thumbs up. "anytime, kyo!"

"MAD DOG-KUN! YOU'RE DATING (NAME)-CHAN??" oikawa screeches. you both nod.

"why didn't you tell any of us, kyotani?" yahaba scoffed lightly, raising an eyebrow. "didn't ask."

"but still—!!" "oikawa, shut up and leave it. we have to practice," iwaizumi groans, cutting him off again.

"ah right! sorry for interrupting!" you apologise, bowing. you then turn to kyotani. "i'll walk home with you after practice! bye, love you!"

once practice was over, there you were, leaning against the side of the building, waiting for kyotani to come out. he stepped out, and you immediately run over to him, grinning.

"how was practice?" you ask, rocking on the balls of your feet.

"was good. oikawa wouldn't shut up about you. it was fucking annoying." kyotani grumbles. he glances down at your hands and reaches over to take one in his, lacing your fingers together.

"come on, kyo, i'm sure it wasn't that bad," you chuckle, giving his hand a squeeze. "lets go."

the two of you walk down the street, and you're making most of the conversation. talking about how your day went, how you got an extra drink from the vending machine at lunch, little things like that, only getting a grunt or a 'yeah?' in response.

there's a lull in the conversation, and that's when your boyfriend decides to ask, "you're still going to the dog shelter on thursday?"

you nod. "why?"

"i'm coming with you." he replies.

"really!?" you exclaim, stopping in your tracks. there's a huge grin on your face. he wasn't expecting you to be so happy about it. . .

"shut up." "i can't wait!"

Kyojuro holding his newborn baby, swaddled tightly in a peach colored blanket, little cheeks squishing against it. His smile is dazzling, eyes sparkling in such a way that you swear the whole universe is residing in them. He’s staring down at his baby’s face, quietly wondering how he was going to be as a father. For the next eighteen years at least, it was your job and his to raise the little one. He was only twenty, just barely out of that phase of life himself. Yet, Kyojuro wouldn’t change a damn thing. He’s smiling at you, watching your sleepy gaze reach out to place your had where his was. “Crazy isn’t it?” He nodded, eyes shifting from your face back to the sleeping one in his arms. “At least we’re doing it together.” he couldn’t fathom doing this with anyone else but you. “What’s even crazier is that your genes are still so damn strong after all these generations.” He couldn’t help but laugh, body shaking just enough to wake the small bundle. A soft cry sounded and both of you jumped, Kyojuro immediately apologized to the little newborn, rocking and bouncing them softly. You watched, heart aching at how naturally fatherhood came to him. As your baby’s cries settled, their eyes opened slowly. You drew closer, your heads nearly pressed together as your baby blinked. “I know they probably can’t even see us…with how newborn eyes are and such… but they know it’s us.” You fought back a giggle as you realized your baby had Kyojuro’s eyes. With the way his genes work, it wasn’t exactly a shock. “They recognize their mother’s heartbeat.” Kyojuro smiled as you gently ran your finger along their perfect little nose. “Oh they definitely recognize your voice, Kyo.” With how often he talked to your bump, it was impossible for them to not recognize their daddy’s voice. “I can tell.” Kyojuro was smiling down at the warm bundle, fast asleep once more. You shared a knowing glance, smiling as you both settled into the blankets. Kyojuro could easily get used to this, warm and safe, surrounded by the two people he loved more than anything.
