Kentaro Kyotani does not want to admit that he remembers how he met you. If anybody heard the way he spoke with such delicacy and softness about that moment, they would immediately assume that he is in love with you. Which he is, but he would rather be kicked in the balls than admitting something like that.

He met you in the bustling halls of the elementary school, among the giggles and chatter of the other kids. His heart was captured as he saw you, as you made your way to ask him if you could play with him.

“C-Can I play with you?” You stuttered, as you looked him in the eyes.

How come you weren’t scared of him? How come you didn’t flinch away from him like the other kids did?

“Whatever,” He replied as he rolled his eyes, trying to be nonchalant about it. As if his heart wasn’t jumping out of excitement.

You were his first friend.

And his first crush…

At first, he dismisses it as a passing fancy, a silly crush destined to fade with time. But as years slipped by, your presence remained a constant warmth in his life.

Because you were more than just his friend, you were his confidante, his ally in the maze of school life. You helped him with assignments, shared your notes and nudged him towards success. When he stumbled, you were there to pick him up, encouragement a steady anchor in stormy seas.

You made him laugh until his sides hurt, the one who he would share his deepest secrets with beneath the shade of the playful tree, the one who sat as you scolded him with a gentle hand when he veered off course.

The only girl, apart from his mom that he treated kindly as if you were delicate like a leaf, as if your feelings were build out of crystal.

But why does it seem that fate plays a cruel hand?

Why are you dating that idiot? Why are you dating his captain?

Yes, he knew you had a crush on his captain for a while. But he thought that you would know by time that Toru Oikawa it’s a fuckboy. That he collects girls like pokemon cards and does not give a single fuck.

“You do know the kind of guy he is…. Right?” He said, his voice low and hesitant. “Like it’s not a secret…”

“Ken, I know the rumors,” You began, “But that doesn’t mean they are true.”

He clenched his jaw, fighting back the surge of emotions threatening to overwhelm him. He knew he had no right to feel this way, but jealousy gnawed at him from the inside out.

“What do you mean they are not true?” He spoke, “He has like a hundred exes,” He sighed

You tilted your head. studying him with those kind eyes that had ensnared his heart from the very beginning. "I know his reputation, Ken. But people can change. And Toru... he's been different with me. He's been... kind."

The word struck him like a blow to the chest. Kind. Wasn't that what he had always strived to be for you? Yet here you were, finding kindness in the arms of someone else. "Sweet words don't mean anything, you know," he muttered, his gaze fixed on the ground. "He's just using them to get what he wants."

A gentle hand on his arm made him look up, meeting her gaze once more. "Ken, are you... jealous?"

The question hung in the air between them, heavy with unspoken truths.His heart raced, his mind scrambling for an excuse, a way to deflect the truth that threatened to spill from his lips. "What? No way! I'm just... I'm just worried about you, that's all."

You smiled, a bittersweet expression that tore at his soul. "I appreciate your concern, Ken Ken. But I can take care of myself. And I want to give Toru a chance. Can't you support me in this?"

His throat tightened with the words he longed to say, the confession he dared not speak aloud. "Of course," he forced out, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll support you, no matter what."

You leaned in to hug him, Kyotani closed his eyes, willing himself to swallow the bitter taste of unspoken love. But as your arms wrapped around him, he couldn't help but wonder... would he ever find the courage to tell you the truth?

“Kei! I’m going shopping with friends!” You yell slipping your shoes on to leave. Your boyfriend shows up out of nowhere.

“When will you be back?” He practically whines and it makes you giggle. His footsteps are quiet as he walks up to hug you. “It won’t be that long maybe two hours?”

He pouts at that. (UGH I LOVE CLINGY TSUKKI)

“Okay… don’t be gone too long.” He goes to kiss your forehead and you lean back. Simply just because you wanted to see how he’d react.

He frowns, why didn’t you let him give you a goodbye kiss?

“If I don’t get to kiss you then you won’t go.” He hoists you up and you wrap your legs around his waist so you don’t fall.

“Kei! It was a joke! I just wanted to see how you’d react.” You quickly peck his lips and he decides it isn’t enough. He grabs your face (gently) and pulls you into a deep kiss.

Once you two are out of breath you break the kiss and he smiles at you all hazy, “‘kay now you can go.”

“You are so needy.” You roll your eyes playful at him.

Kyotani Kentaro:

He sat at the table with you reading the monthly volleyball magazine. You were finishing up some work on your laptop that has been weighing you down for awhile. Kyotani lets out a grunt and your eyebrow quirks. "What's up with you?"

He grunts again like he's upset you don't already know why he's upset. "You haven't given me a kiss at all within the last 24 hours." He explains with complaint laced in his voice. You shut your laptop and walk toward your kitchen to get a snack.

"I'm trying to finish my paper, Ken. I've waited too long to do it and it's due tomorrow." The fridge air chills your skin causing goosebumps to form. Your eyes scan the fridge wondering what you should get for a snack. "Should I make those Pillsbury cinnamon rolls or just eat the mac n cheese I made yesterday?" You ask him and you're met by silence. He must be pissed if he's not answering. "You want hamima chicken?" You ask trying to lure him into your trap. "Not falling for it. I want a kiss." He argues.

A sigh escapes your lips, because you know if you end up kissing him it could turn into more and you need your focus to finish this paper. "When I'm done with my paper we can kiss all you want." Usually your persuasion would work but Kyotani seemed to not be falling for it.

The oak chair legs squeak on the floor when Kyotani gets up from the chair. He stomps over to you, spins you around, and plants his lips onto yours, hard. His tongue swipes your bottom lip and you open your mouth to let him in.

You had to push him away when his hands started wandering down to your waist. "Later... I promise." You assure him and he smirks at you. "You better keep that promise." Your boyfriend squeezes you in a hug and you squeeze back.

"Love you, Ken." The soft confession slips from your lips. His face is buried in your neck and he mumbles, "Love you too, beautiful."

Komori Motoya:

His head was in your lap because the two of you were watching a movie together like you always did on Friday evenings. The little shit known as your boyfriend lifted his head to look at you, there was that mischievous smile on his face.

"I did some research on how to french." he wiggles his eyebrows and you let out a soft chuckle.

"'Toya that's so random." you mention softly, the movie continued and you want to pause it because this was the movie you've waited months to see.

"Is not! The couple in the movie just kissed." He reasons and you remind him that they aren't even together yet. This seemed like your way of denying him a kiss, but he wasn't giving up just yet. This is the same man that intially tried to get the Sakusa Kiyoomi to date someone and after years of trying his efforts paid off.

"C'mon please? We haven't even kissed with tongue yet." he begs and you are relentless tonight.

"What about that time after prom when we were drunk because someone spiked the punch?" you ask without taking your eyes off the tv. You and Komori have been an icon for quite some time now. Kiyoomi kept telling him to break up w you because an athlete/college student relationship wouldn't work out.

You two stayed strong even in times of trouble. And here you guys are today, its not always rainbows and butterflies but it works. It gets hard when Komori isn't around to comfort you.

"That does not count as a real kiss with tongue, neither of us knew what the hell we were doing." He huffs and you smile.

"You can french me when the movie's over, I've really been looking forward to this one." Your words seem to be suffice because his head finds your lap again and you unconsciously massage his scalp.

As soon as the credits roll he's on top of you and the smirk that lands on your face makes him wanna kiss it off.

"You're so pretty, honey bun." he says.

"Just kiss me already." You don't have to tell him twice. His lips ghost over yours and he leans in so your lips meet. He always thought it was cute how your lips were slightly chapped. (can we normalize/romanticize chapped lips or is that a no no 😭)

His tongue slipped into your mouth and you happily obliged opening your mouth for him. The kiss lasted a little longer than you expected the only reason you pulled away was to breath.

"I'll always get what i want, be it a kiss or the pretty girl in front of me." he says confidently.

You smirk and shake your head, "you are such a little brat sometimes."

"Your little brat," he adds.

Semi Eita:

"Mhm, that works.. uh-huh thank you so much. Okay, take care." Semi hung up the phone and turned to you where you were playing on the ps4.

"I'm done with work for today, do you wanna watch a movie?" He asks standing up from his desk and taking a few seconds to stretch. It's surprising his legs aren't cramping due to sitting for so long.

"Yeah, let me finish this up real quick." He smiles at how concentrated you look playing the game.

"Alright, I'll go get movie snacks," he informs and moves to give you a quick kiss on the cheek. You lean away from his inviting presence. "Not right now, Eita. I'm really close to beating this level."

Instead of voicing his opinion on the matter he walked out. Guilt pooled at your stomach as he walked out of your shared office room.

Once your level was finished you made sure to put everything back in its place and turn off everything.

You'd been waiting all day to embrace your boyfriend which made the anticipation even higher. Upon reaching the living room you see your boyfriend cuddling and kissing your puppy on her head.

He noticed you, "since my girlfriend won't kiss me, I have to give kisses to the best girl in the whole world."

Your puppy seemed to understand him in some type of way and she wagged her little tail.

"Eita, you've been denying me kisses all day, it was a taste of your own medicine!" You explain walking over to give him a quick peck.

"I want more than a little peck." A smirk grows on his face.

His lips capture yours and you feel the same spark you felt during your first kiss. His hands start to roam but not for long because your little girl starts barking and trying to tear you guys apart.

"Jealous, much?" Semi asks the puppy which makes you giggle.

Let's make something clear - you and Kyotani were not in a relationship

At most, you and the blonde are in a situationship

Like yeah late at night the volleyball player would cuddle you after banging you and whisper sweet nothings as the two of you fall asleep

But he made it clear the two of you were NOT dating

It pissed you off frankly

You're willing to give him, and do give him, everything a boyfriend does but he just doesn't want to commit himself to you

So you decided to fuck Kyotani off and get over him

Which lined up perfectly with Iwazumi's party that night

He made sure to text you beforehand, informing you of what time he was getting there and telling you to make SURE you don't arrive at the same time as him

Which really made no sense since half of the guys you talk to would KILL to be with you

That's what pushed you over the edge, so you decided to message Oikawa

8pm is when Kyotani said he'd be at the party, so you and Oikawa stroll in at 8 30 hand-in-hand

Now, while Oikawa and you had dated before, you both knew that there was absolutley nothing romantic there

He was simply helping out a friend

And if only you could have taken a photo of your situationship's face when he saw you both

Kyotani was obviously pissed off, but he quickly fixed his expression back to a neutral one and went back to talking to his mates

But fucking hell the blonde couldn't take his eyes off of you the whole night

He was burning holes through Oikawa's head and hand, which hadn't left yours the whole night

So far, Kyotani managed to get two words in before Oikawa cut him off

It was really pissing him off

Finally, Oikawa had to go find Iwazumi, leaving you open for Kyotani

But as he was walking up to you, he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw some owl-headed cunt come up and talk to you

Kyotani decided to get a beer and hang out with his friends, he didn't want to be seen with you anyway

But after a little while, he found himself telling his friends he was "going to the 'bathroom'" but he B-lined towards you

But this time, a look of anger and jealousy flooded his face

"Kyotani? What the fuck?!" You shout as the blonde drags you away wordlessly

Once the two of you got outside, Kyotani shoved you against a wall, his muscular arms either side of your head

"So you think you can just go and kiss other guys huh? Are you fuckin' other people too? Huh?!" Kyotani berates you with questions, his jealousy becoming more and more evident

Now at first, you weren’t really super excited about volleyball

I mean, you originally said yes because you needed a club and well, Kunimi was your friend

However you found one perk to the sport

On the bus ride home, everyone was quiet as you sat

You wanted to cheer them up but you didn’t know how

Then it came to you, you pulled out your book from your bag

Let’s just say it was one of your new favorites and you began to read out loud to the bus

The boys slowly looked up, listening to your soothing voice as you recited lines perfectly

The entire bus seemed to calm down, the tension disappearing as you continued to read

Once back at school, you stopped reading and prepared to get off the bus

When you arrive home you're met with the sight of both your husband and your baby girl knocked out on the couch. Her little head is resting upon his chest, her small hand curled up in a fist too.

You can see the drool on his shirt from her little lips. She's just so tiny and he's so big. Whenever you'd post them on your social media the first thing people comment on is the size difference. They always talk about how soft and gentle he is with his baby girl for such a big man.

Wakatoshi seems to notice your staring because his olive eyes open looking around for a second before they meet yours.

You were watching as Shinsuke and your little boy were out in the rice fields. There were two cold glasses of water waiting for them when they came back.

They had matching hats and overalls; the whole thing. Shinsuke insisted his six year old should be interested in little boy stuff like playing and discovering the world, but your little boy wanted to help his daddy out in the fields.

So of course, Shinsuke would show him how to do basic things around the rice fields. He made his son a mini bag of rice to carry since the normal bags are way too heavy for a six year old.

Little giggles escape your lips watching the two of them haul the bags of rice toward his truck.

"Are you helping daddy out?" You ask recording him.

"Yep! I'm almost as strong as daddy is!" To prove his point he flexes his little muscles.

"Oh wow!! You are super strong." Shinsuke chuckles too. He's sweating up a storm, wiping his forehead every few minutes.

"Do my two favorite boys want to come take a water break?" Your husband is grateful for your observation skills, he could use some water.

Your son looks to his father waiting to see what he says. The little boy admires his father with his life.

"Yeah let's get some water, bud." Shinsuke scoops up his son causing the little boy much joy.

Kita is very stern with his kids, he likes order (which is why they have so much respect for him)

Almost never breaks the rules like if there's not supposed to be any sweets before bed he'll listen to the rules even if his kids beg and beg

He teaches them to be honest hard working children (just like how he was when he used to help his grandma clean)

There are fun days too, he'll take them to amusement parks and such.. only for good behavior though

lmaoo I think he looks a little scary to other kids, so when he's chaperoning at field trips and stuff none of the kids (even the most mischievous ones) dare to act up

he's always taking his kiddos to onigiri miya because they always talk about how much they "love their uncle samu's food!!"

if they show any interest in volleyball he takes them to see the red falcons (aran) or the black jackals (atsumu) they always think it's the coolest thing ever

Kyotani Kentaro

The screaming match going on downstairs didn't concern you in the slightest.

Your husband and your daughters do this at least once a day, which is why you're still laying in bed minding your own business.

"IF YOU DON'T DO YOUR PROJECT YOU'LL FAIL!" Kentaro yelled at his ten year old daughter. She was; in your opinion a carbon copy of her father.

"WELL LET'S GO SEE WHAT YOUR MOM HAS TO SAY ABOUT IT." You pretend to sleep as the three of them stomp up the stairs to see what you have to say.

"[name], your child won't-" when he notices that you're "sleeping" he shushes his children and walks them out of the room.

You hear a mumbled, "Will you do it if I help you?"

The older daughter of yours agrees with her father's suggestion. The younger one has no clue what's going on but she wants to be included too. So, she also hums in agreement.

He communicates his love through snarky comments and eye rolls

Doesn't find them annoying, just could use a break sometimes

He thought being a dad would be a piece of cake.. imagine his surprise when he changes his first poopy diaper

Scary dog privileges still apply; no one dares to look at his kids wrong, much less try to hurt them

He girls think it's funny that he's "bald"

"I think I'm gonna be sick, babe, what if we don't find him?" Asahi asks tugging in your shirt sleeve. This isn't your best parenting moment; your little boy is lost somewhere inside this huge Costco. Your son who's eight insisted he'd go grocery shopping with you even though he was probably gonna complain after ten minutes about his legs hurting.

Of course your husband wanted to tag along. He enjoys family bonding and he saw this grocery trip as an opportunity to execute it. The two of you had gotten so caught up in conversation that you didn't even realize your son went missing for maybe four or five minutes? You hope it was only that long.

"Ren! Where are you honey?!" You yell out, not too loud so it's not fairly obvious of your failure as a parent but loud enough that he could hear you and follow the sound of your voice.

To make matters worse he has his nintendo switch that his eyes are probably glued to.

"Oh baby, what.. what if someone takes him?" Asahi's voice sounds horrified. Little seeds of insecurity make their way into your brain, but you must keep strong because your husband is absolutely losing his shit.

"Management on aisle twenty-seven, we have a child climbing the racks." You two give each other a knowing look. That sounds 100% like something your son would do.

"You stay here with the basket, I'll go get him." Asahi says leaving no room for argument when he runs off to get his child.

Within a few minutes he returns with Ren. Asahi's confused by the way you giggle, but you find it cute how his man bun was undone, most likely from running fast.

"Man, I haven't ran that fast since high scho-"

"Dad you need to work out more!!" Naive little Ren says, causing his father to sigh loudly with a cheeky smile.

"And you," you say pointing to the little boy in question, "need to stay where mom and dad can see you. Are we clear?"

He nods in a respectful manner.

"Now let's finish shopping.. as a family."

Kyotani has an oral fixation!!!!! whenever he's sitting down with you in his lap he always is attached to any part of your body. he just cant stand the feeling of you just being there with his mouth not on you. like excuse you???

you seriously cant get rid of him. it would genuinely be a fucking crime if you just decided that you weren’t gonna sit on his lap and let him suck onto your skin. he would either sit there and obnoxiously pout, or magically your hips werent connected to your body anymore due to the force and pace that he grabbed them and pulled them to his lap. in literal seconds, you were on his lap. and even if you tried to get off of him, or pull him off of you, there would be no possible way to move. kyotani always has an actual death grip on your waist if he’s focused on your body.
