not spop-related but i can't post this on my main blog so.
i do find it funny how most of the fan depictions of belos were far more interesting and detailed than s3 belos. i've seen fanart and fanfics of him where he's a complex villain struggling with religious guilt and then the canon is just like.. lmao yeah he's pure evil. kill him.

This isnt new or original at all but i gotta say some of my favorite characters are always those absolutely awful charismatic bastard villians who in fiction I enjoy but if I met in real live I would punt into the stars. Bonus points when they get their inevitable and extremely satisfying comeuppance and get their ass handed to them
#bill cipher#william afton#dr robotnik#good trio of these kinda guys#there are of course more#and this isnt like#anything new or original#as i said#but i think it should be reiterated#especially in an era when like people really struggle understanding that liking and enjoying a villain and depicting them as fun or likeable#does not in fact mean that you support anything that they are about#or that you wouldnt either punt them into oblivion or just quietly skulk away#idk its wild to me ive seen so many people getting angry about people liking bad characters#and obviously there are nuances and such but again we must recall fictional characters arent real#but yeah characters like these are like fucked up barbie dolls to me#fun to play with and pose and dress up and also somehow quite satisfying to rip their head off or watch their head get ripped off#i think the joker could also qualify but hes more dicey bc people cannot be normal about him#i think joker fanboys might be why this opposition to people enjoying villains comes from#welcome back to posts where an essay is hidden among my tags#i like the format it lets me ramble#uhh there are definitely more guys in here#the joker#and dont get me wrong i dislike certain villians too and it sometimes squicks me out to see people being so obessed with them even healthily#but like i just keep it to myself cause thats a me thing#belos definitely fits into this but only sometimes for me#sometimes i just get irritated seeing him but again#me problem therefore keep it to myself#this is so chronically online but yeah#jekyll and hyde#victor frankenstein

Lmao was watching the fight scene between Luz and Belos in YBOS and the lines that stuck out to me were "okay, I'll play" and "go be a hero".
Because both are spoken with a bit of amusement and condescension, which is appropriate when you realise that, in Philips mind, his little genocide plot and especially the detour with the Clawthorne sisters in s1 really is a bit of a game to him. A game that's important to him, that he's determined to win, but a bit of a game nonetheless.
Like, he doesn't see any of the isle's inhabitants as people, he's framed the whole thing as a game to the collector to get them to help him, he's essentially been continuing his childhood game of witch hunters this whole time on a bigger scale, complete with a "Caleb" and everything.
And then the line "go, be a hero" is SOOO funny to me, because the reason he's so dismissive of Luz is because, in his mind, he's the hero of this story. No one else, not even the other human, him. He's painting Luz and naïve and delusional here for thinking she's doing any good WHEN THAT'S EXACTLY HOW HE THINKS. Get a load of this guy!!!

with the rising fascism in the world, im not gonna trust any new medias with stories that make the villain an agent of chaos & terror while the hero/es fight to preserve the status quo.
#after 9/11 there was a rise in childrens media where this was exactly the case#a foreign threat to peace that must be eliminated#and sure there were a lot of good stories made with that format. doesnt erase the true intent being the message.#and now theres come a rise of stories with empires and dictators as villains who are destroyed by rebellions#a good example of the stories about preserving the status quo are literally all of the marvel movies#thats why ragnarok was breath of fresh air. they didnt preserve the legacy of someone who destroyed thousands in the name of 'keeping peace#odin's legacy was burned to ash and thor put his people first.#another example is HP. even the newest stories set hundreds of years in the past still aim to preserve the status quo#and make the oppressed trying to fight back into villains by giving them really good points and then making them into murderers#a good example of a story that does the OPPOSITE is the owl house. god that show was so perfect.#just the subtle touch of luz's magic not having a white core like belos's in the end was so perfect.#making her final most powerful form look like a stereotypical villain with the black eyes and clothes and her dark magic??#her palisman being able to shapeshift into stereotypically feared animals like spiders scorpions snakes and bats??#the fact that she looked like a demon while belos was pretending to be carrying out the will of his god? that he was on some holy crusade?#belos believing himself to be the hero of the story even to the bitter end because he couldnt imagine that people he considers subhuman#had any right to life. that they werent just pests to be crushed in the name of his god. and in the end he was the one crushed like a bug.#so good. so good. so good. dana terrace i am kissing you#i like the owl house more than i like gravity falls and BOY is that saying something#krav talks

Belos is as much a role that he plays akin to what Philip was/is, but it’s a more authentic one. One he craved out for himself. Especially the public persona of Belos is a rejection of everything Philip is and stands for and in a bigger sense a rejection of the community that raised and shaped him, of the puritan ideals Philip was tailor cut to represent.
Belos is both a rejection and reclamation of his personhood. It’s the case of him being the witch, the witch hunter and curse all at once. Philip is as much a part of Belos as is Belos of Philip, one cannot exist without the other, but neither of them are real. However the mangled corpse of a monster is the melting point of these two roles. If he ever wants to truly and fully reclaim his personhood he needs to face himself, let the overabundance of piercing eyes fully look at himself and see both directly at his trauma and wrongdoings and beyond it. Stripping himself clean of everything after accepting it and look at the person that truly resides within.
Philip like Belos will however never choose this path. Because if he would, he would first have to acknowledge that his actions where wrong, and also that he was traumatized. If Belos has to accept the wrongness of his actions, Philip will have to acknowledge the trauma he suffered. This includes the façade that his live was before the isles. Which means also acknowledging that Belos is at least, a freer version of himself as he ever was and ever could have been if he stayed.

Hey, you all realize that the point of Watching and Dreaming wasn't "some crimes are so terrible that there is no point in giving the perpetrators opportunity to learn and make up for them," right? That it wasn't "violent bigots and abusive parents are automatically disqualified from redemption because to show them improving would be to sympathize with those crimes," right?
Like, you all watched the show where Caleb and Alador and frankly even Gwendolyn were paralleled with the worst of the worst villains, but actually tried to do better and succeeded, right? You all got that Belos had to die because he refused every opportunity to learn and work to correct his actions, right? You get that redemption doesn't necessarily mean being accepted back into the lives of people you hurt, but ultimately just means putting in the work to change, and that the refusal to change is the sole trait that really makes a villain "irredeemable," right?
You all got that the Collector is a direct character foil to Philip, as a lonely kid who grew up in an (allegorical) manipulative and intolerant community, and ended up hurting people as a result, but became the opposite of Philip by actually choosing to listen and mature at almost every opportunity? You get why "kindness and forgiveness don't always work, but are still no less important" was just as much the thesis of this episode as "yes, sometimes you do just have to kill a fascist" was, right?
(You remember that the first episode of this show was a highly metaphorical critique, but an unapologetic critique nonetheless, of the prison and justice system, right?)

my least favorite (and unfortunately the most common) mischaracterization of belos is when he's depicted as this like. Grumpy Old Man. come on guys belos is not grumpy. he is literally the opposite. he is calm and uncannily sweet, his voice is soft and he chooses his words very carefully. he looks at you like you're a lost animal, with eyes full of pity and kindness so unnatural, you just can't shake off the feeling of something deeply Wrong. and even when he's not playing his character of a Nice Grandpa to get people do what he wants, he's still not grumpy. he is a passive-agressive bitch. he tells kikimora to kill herself with the same soft voice and sweet smile he used to tell hunter that titan has big plans for him. he's like if a mean girl was an old man do you get me

—Swap au— part 1?
Once upon a time there was an angel named Adam The Angel of Life: He was God’s most perfect angel whose curiosity and joy brought hope to those of heaven and was considered the pure light of what heaven was truly all about.
However hidden by the eyes of every heaven born and God’s, behind closed doors, the counsel of heaven would push higher expectations on the angel than one could ever expect the angel of life to be given.
The elders were never pleased in regard of whatever Adam did or would punish constantly for not being able to do enough. Neither did they believed he was the epitome of beauty and perfection as God would claim he was, eventually, this lead the angel to do drastic measures to prevent any judgment of his person. Modifying his appearance to a less friendlier look, almost considerably scary beyond the opposite of perfection or beauty. Adam would hide behind a mask to cover the shame and disgust of his skin. No longer feeling proud to be content of his body or face; replaced with insecurities brought from those who he considered righteous and perfect. To those he saw as his family; those who were always right and should obey their every rule.
This caused stress and sadness to the angel, covering it with a smile and feigned oblivion. No one truly understood Adam, neither did he ever felt like he belonged or welcomed in the world of the devine.
And from the dirt came Lucifer and Sera, equals in every way: the first man and the first woman. God’s most perfect creation.
The first humans to wonder the earth, and the very beginning of humanity.
What one wouldn’t expect was for the two humans to not get along and argue plenty. Both stubborn and prideful to not submit to the other. Sera wanted control over him and to follow whats ordered, Lucifer wanted freedom and refused to obey. Neither wanted to give in to their wants and kept distant.
With time Lucifer began yearning companionship, but through his solitude he embraced his talents to create and dream. Unlike Sera, Lucifer went beyond what the angels ever imagined a human to be. He’d dream and dream so much that his hands were seen like brushes building and recreating those images to perfection. He began small; a simple robe made out of wool from sheep to mimic those of an angels attire, he’d discovered a sense of ‘style’ by painting his cheeks red claiming it made him feel special, different, a unique attribute of his for distinction and personality. He’d build toys or even cook extravagant food and gifts to the angels. He’d even create a new language to confuse the above and to speak with the animals.
Lucifer’s creativity stunned the entirety of heaven.
His beauty was enhancing to one’s eyes, his voice was considered angelic, alluring to their ears and his charisma captivated everyone.
Lucifer was the epitome of perfection.
And within Adam’s curiosity he convinced Lilith the highest seraphim to allow him to venture earth. With delight he wondered through the garden of Eden, the uniqueness and new wonders left him speechless. He admired the animals that lived peacefully and harmony inside the paradise creation his father would talk wonders about; the countless of fruit and vegetables, the greenery of the planet’s nature in its entirety and the beautiful blue but changing sky. But he hasn’t yet met with the creations so he kept his expectations low as he saw every form of life as perfect. He wasn’t quite sure if he wanted to meet the humans, feeling slight fear of them rejecting him into their world.
He kept his hands away from touching it all fearing to stain its beauty. He admired the life inside Eden, wherever he’d look there was life; animals, plants, the air, inside water, even under the dirt it had little wiggling creatures living inside there.
And throughout his journey never did he feel frightened or threatened by the creatures there.
Earth had welcomed him with open arms and he never felt more warm and comfortable. As if he had belonged there too.
In one of Lucifer’s many escapes from his overly obedient but controlling wife. He found himself following his favorite path that lead to one of the most beautiful places in Eden.
But little did the first man know, that the most beautiful thing in all Eden would not be anything belonging of the garden but an angel.
Behind bushes and trees he almost stumbled to the ground when he came across a figure, his eyes landed in a very tall bird looking creature. He was beautiful. From the golden of his wings to the brightness of his halo, aura and the golden blinding eyes of his face; like two suns burning his every core.
Lucifer was beyond fascinated, he had seen angels. Plenty actually. Every one of them were unique and very divine looking.
But this one stole everything of its purity and was assembled into one; an ethereal being he had yet to discover. He was different from the other angels, the unique appearance added another touch of making him stand out from any other. Lucifer thought his face was very expressive unlike the other angels and that just made him look even more friendlier to approach.
Aside from that, the angel showed much wonder and joy to every single little thing he’d find in the garden it made Lucifer’s heart beat fast. Still hidden however he followed him watching his every move, unlike the other angels this one kept his hands away from touching anything however his gentleness and kindness embraced those around him without even trying to reach out. And, oh, did Lucifer wanted to reach out to him. The animals would nuzzle against him while walking past them looking through the depths of the garden.
Lucifer was captivated. Enchanted by whatever magic the angel held on to his every being.
Lucifer had fallen in love without realizing it.
When Lucifer mustered the courage to approach Adam, he had offered him a fruit basket as a welcome. Adam was stunned by the gift but grateful nonetheless of the first man’s kindness. The gesture of welcoming someone was foreign for Adam; but the simple gesture alone brought reassurance and a relief to an anxious soul like himself. He expressed his gratitude with a golden feather as he had noticed the first man’s eyes captive on his wings.
Adam was also speechless of the perfect creation of God. Lucifer was a being he’s never seen before, there was no denial in the exterior beauty of his form, and even as much as he didn’t look too far off from an angel the first man was a curious being like himself! Lucifer was a free spirit, he had a very unique way of thinking and abilities. For example he is far more talkative than any of the angels he’s met, very expressive, his skin was very fleshy looking but there was something in his eyes he doubted he’d ever see in angel, and that was… life. So much life in one being it made his heart pound rapidly.
Their first meeting was short for Lucifer’s displeasure. But ever since their meeting both beings couldn’t help but bring themselves from thinking about the other. Lucifer couldn’t help but to dream of a life with Adam. Adam couldn’t help but to find himself thinking how lucky Lucifer was to live in such a marvelous planet like earth.
Both dreamers wanted a sense of freedom to choose what their heart desires.
But that meant breaking rules and going against heaven.

[ENG] Yes, I made Lena quite "human" in all senses... Normal! Not only with her physical attributes, but she also carries weknesses and insecurities that a lot of young women face. Why I did this, weh I could've just followed all the society norms? First of all, I do love my male readers, I write this story for women. I want them to feel comfortable, seeing that common and natural body types can also be loved and beautiful. That also makes it easier for the reader to envolve themselves in the story based on Lena's point of view. I always enjoyed to mix concepts of reality and fiction and fantasy. And then comes Rain, because as we know, he's fantastic in every way... They are the opposites that attract in my imagination.

thinking about it now…I can kinda see what the toh writers might have been trying to do by having Hunter basically turn into Caleb by the end of show (he reverts to his old haircut, has a thing for wood carving which Caleb was seen doing in the portraits, has the same eye color as Caleb). I think they were trying to imply that Hunter kind of…accepted the fact that he’s a clone of Caleb. Which, if that is what they were trying to do:
that is a horrible idea considering everything else about his arc up to WAD.
Up to WAD the writers have shown how Hunter clearly did not want to be like Caleb. Heck the thing that caused Hunter to try and cut his hair was seeing a glimpse of Caleb in his reflection of the mirror in TTT. He gets his old hairstyle back when Belos possesses him. Belos made Hunter and all the other golden guards to be basically clones of Caleb and he says this himself. Everything up to WAD is basically screaming at us that Hunter being like Caleb is not something Hunter wants and is what Belos wants of him, and is not a good thing.
so for the TOH writers to then turn around and give him Caleb’s eye color, give him back his old hairstyle and technically also Caleb’s hairstyle (which I cannot reiterate enough, he tried to cut in a panic because he saw Caleb in his reflection), and give him the hobby Caleb was seen doing in the portraits (wood carving), it not only in a sense gives Belos what he wanted (to make a ‘better version of a friend’) it’s a major slap in the face for everything Hunter’s arc was clearly building up to, refusing to be a clone of Caleb and showing that he is his own person.
so, if it is true that they were trying to do a thing where Hunter accepts that he’s a clone of Caleb (which, I did not say this before but I’ll say this now, is just speculation); 1. That’s a terrible idea and goes against everything Hunter’s arc was building up to and 2. They did not do a good job of hinting or implying this, they hinted everything in the opposite direction of this, that Hunter learns he is his own person.

The Collector trying to implement what they'd learned about forgiveness and forgiveness during the battle with Belos. Having it be the wrong choice, having it be what caused Luz to disappear.

Him being confused because they thought that was the right thing and it's all just so confusing. they've been yanked around and made a fool of by everyone, by his siblings, by Belos, but this time was going to be different. He was learning from good people, from people who became friends.
The excited "We can all be buddies now" before Belos tried to blast them.

Luz telling them and reassuring them that it was a good thing, that they did good, that they shouldn't give up having kindness and forgiveness towards people because that's the exact opposite outcome they need The Collector to take away from this.

Your recent train of posts about you-know-who’s book series got me thinking. You once said “The Owl House works as a sort of rebuttal to Harry Potter in a lot of ways”, care to elaborate on that statement? Especially in regards to how The Owl House’s worldbuilding and themes clash with Harry Potter’s?
Oh man... I don't want my blog to be consumed by Harry Potter Hot Takes. I'd prefer to vent most of those feelings through my wizard books instead, it's more productive that way.
So, ok, short version: The Owl House is about a teenager from the mundane world discovering there's a magical world hidden away, goes there to learn magic, and in the process uncovers a plot by an abominable fascist to commit genocide. In very simplistic terms, that is more or less the same plot as Harry Potter.
But the devil's in the details, isn't it? Luz doesn't have any grand inheritance to claim, no prophecy to fulfill, nothing that makes her the most special specialest special person of all time. There's even a whole episode early on where a villain tries to lure her to her doom by claiming she's the chosen one, and the lesson is that NO ONE is "chosen" for greatness - greatness is something you make yourself, not something that's thrust upon you. She is not inherently gifted as a witch - in fact, she struggles harder because she doesn't have a a special bladder true witches are born with, and has to learn an ancient and forgotten method of spellcasting basically from scratch to cast spells at all. She is, emphatically and at times definitely deliberately, the opposite of what Harry Potter is.
So is her academic experience. There's a magic school in this setting, and (at first) it wants nothing to do with Luz because she's human, not a witch, and thus is believed to be incapable of casting spells. So Luz's primary mode of education on magic comes from a private mentor, Eda, who is also a wanted criminal and social outcast because of her disdain for the draconian rules of their society. Eda is an unconventional but magnificent mentor, one who is as willing to try new things and learn new methods as Luz herself, and who helps Luz discover ways to make possible what everyone else claims is impossible. Eventually Luz does convince the magic school to take her in, but in the process she changes how it runs, challenging a lot of its preconceived notions and forcing them to do better.
Which is vital, because the biggest problem facing the society of this magical world is narrow-minded reliance on outdated social categorization. Like HP, people are sorted into categories (covens here instead of houses), which they are then forced to stick to and never dabble in the others. It is explicitly compared to both the concept of tracking in real world education (i.e. forcing kids into a career path early and ONLY giving them education relevant to that one career) and the house system of HP:
youtube
And it's wrong. It's both presented as needlessly limiting, terrible for encouraging advancement and growth of both the students and society as a whole, and an immoral system that's only kept alive by the "Well, this is how we've always done it" inertia that keeps so many awful traditions in education alive. And I really do mean it's immoral, because it's the brain child and secretly crucial evil tool of a genocidal fascist.
I kind of cringe at writing those two words since I feel people have been WAY too quick to accuse cartoon villains from children's shows of fascism and genocide - like, Chairface Chippendale writing his name on the moon with a laser would probably kill a shitload of people in real life, but that doesn't mean he's an analogue to Hitler. But Belos, like fellow Disney villain Frollo, is clearly intended to be exactly that: a genocidal fascist. In a world full of magic-fueled absurdist black comedy beats, Emperor Belos stands out as a consistently serious threat, tonally dissonant with his surroundings in a way that makes him chillingly effective as a villain. And like real world powerful bigots, his power primarily comes from the fact that the systems of society favor his mindset over those of outsides like Luz and Eda - all the systems of oppression our heroes chafe against were either created by or worsened by him, with the express purpose of using them to kill everyone and everything in the magical world.
Luz could not be more thematically opposed to her enemy, and the story is incredibly consistent in showing how defeating Belos alone isn't enough, but that the systems that empowered him have to be disproven and dismantled. His enablers must be destroyed or humbled, the prejudices he encouraged must be torn down and fought at every turn, and innovation and progress must be embraced for the good of all. There's so much stuff you could analyze about the themes in that show regarding oppression and the othering of people who are different, and it's all so, SO much more consistent than the discussion of the same themes you'll find in Harry Potter.

im glad belos got what he deserved and is actually fully gone for good and wont ever hurt anyone ever again, but its also really funny and fascinating to think about shoving luz and ghost-belos into a locked room together where neither of them can physically harm each other and just force them to have an actual honest conversation for once

He wasn’t expecting to meet someone, a kid in fact, like you. He was curious. What was a shadow doing all the way down here in a cave within hell, with no person it belongs to? It seemed to be as if you were trapped.. which you were and he realized that.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
As he walked in the cave, lanterns illuminated, allowing him to see the scattered bones that littered the place. He walked deeper into the cave, meeting its end… but at the very center was a pedestal where a circular mirror lied with a crescent moon symbol in the middle.
“My my what’s this?” Someone with a radio static voice said walking forward before he was stopped in his tracks due to an unrecognized voice.
“Who said that!? Who’s there?” You yelled out, waiting to hear that voice again. It sounded interesting… fun.
Immediately, a shadow emerged from the mirror like object, traveling around the cave walls, stopping at a certain distance due to restricted movement.
“Well hello there little one!” The man turned his head to the wall the shadow stayed on tilting his head, smiling wildly. He held out his staff pointing it at you. You saw that it had a shielded microphone at the top.
You were surprised to get a response, even more surprised that he saw you. The lanterns that illuminated the cave were dull. Most people don’t see you because of that. Most people get scared and run back to the entrance of the cave wanting to get out as fast as they can.
You are a shadow…in a cave, after all.
You pushed those thoughts away quickly.
“A Person! Hi, hello! It’s been so long since I’ve seen someone!” You say extending and waving your arms. Your hands making a “hello” motion. Going a bit too fast though.
You saying that made him curious.
“Yes yes, a person! Now what might your name be?” He said getting closer to your shadow as he held his staff down. Un-tilting his head, but he was still smiling.
As he got closer, you could see that it looked like he had two long pointy ears on his head and small dear antlers…?
“Y/N! My names Y/N!” you say with excitement coursing through your voice
“What’s your name mister!?” You say questioning him back, waiting for a response.
“The names Alastor dear! Now that we’ve got past the introductions, what’s a little kid like you doing all the way in this cave?”
“Uh uh, I’m not answering another question until you play a game with me!” You say turning your head in the opposite direction of Alastor, turning your head to glare back at him right after before turning back.
“A Game you say? And what game is this?”
“Hide and seek! You know how to play hide and seek righhhttt?” You didn’t give him the chance to answer. “I’ll hide you seek! … and count to ten!” You say before you move from the wall to go to find a hiding spot.
Alastor decided to play along with you and play your little game of hide and seek. For answers. He was curious about why you were down here. Why you were a shadow, and just what was that circular thing with a moon in the middle you emerged from?
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
You laughed, you were having so much fun. Something you hadn’t had in a while. Your game of hide and seek turned into a game of tag.
“You caught meee!”
You started to sing
To you, who strayed to far from home!
To me, who’s trapped beneath these bones!
We’ll play forever me and you!
When you paint the land,
In nine bright hues!
You burst out laughing once again
“Trapped you say?” Alastor says, thinking. You were trapped? Why were you, a child even trapped down here? This intrigued him.
“Uh huhhhh.. I’m trapped.” You say sadly.
“We’re friends now, right? We played games together! You can help me get free right?” You yelled out expectingly, your mood immediately changing once again.
“I guess I could help you out a bit! …
but what would I get in return?”
“Anything! I’ll do anything! I just want out of this stupid cave!” You whined. You were willing to do anything if it meant finally being able to be free again.
“Anything? Then, let’s make a deal.” Alastor said, as the certain area in the room you both were illuminated in a spooky green color. You could now see that the deer horns that you made out to be on his head were getting bigger and his smiling grin got wider.
“I’ll help you get out of this cave, and free you, and in return for those two things, you can give me your soul! Do we have a deal?” Alastor said holding out his unoccupied hand.
You thought about it for a few seconds, letting out “hmmm” noises.
“Okay!” You agreed almost immediately, not knowing what you were getting yourself into.
His eyes widened and turned into radio dials…? Then green stitches appeared on his face.
“Wait, you’re not tricking me are you?! You promise to help me out?” You say as you grow suspicious and cross your arms. You’ve learned to not trust people too easily from past encounters.
“Pinky promise!” You said before moving your shadow from the wall to the ground so you could stand in front of him. You held out your pinky finger.

• After you guys made your deal, Alastor helped you get out of the cave. Not too sure how to actually free you just yet. You told him how he could just carry around your moon mirror for now
“What?! But you said you could free me! You promised. We pinky swore!” You said throwing a tantrum
“I’ve fulfilled the first part of our deal, but I’m not too sure how to fully free you just yet. I’ll just have to figure that out dear!”
• People would give weird looks and stares to Alastor and you as he carried your moon mirror around and you would just be hiding behind him. Everyone looked to be shocked and afraid. Of you? No. Afraid of him.
“Isn’t that the radio demon? Wait, what’s that behind him?”
The radio demon?
“He’s back after seven years?”
“What’s the thing he’s carrying?”
• A few people would start recording with their phones but their phones would start to glitch out and overheat causing them to power off.
“What the heck?”
• Alastor took you to his radio tower where you stayed most of the time, was he even searching for a way to free you from your moon mirror?! It was pretty boring, and he would just barely make an appearance back at his own place. You found it weird. Just where is he? This was no different from being trapped up in that cave.
The doors of his radio tower opened and you came out from your moon mirror
“Where have you been! It’s so boring here, there’s nothing to do!”
“I’ve been out running errands,” he started before you cut him off
Betrayed, beguiled, alone, deceived!
I’ll have my revenge on… ugh. Unity is so hard to rhyme.
“Now now, I am not deceiving you nor am I betraying you. I’m still figuring out how to free you from this.. thing.” He says pointing at your moon mirror.
“In the time being, how about I take you somewhere new. It’s called the Happy Hotel. At the moment.” He says bending down and smiling while staring at you wide eyed.
“Would you like that? Think of it as my apology for keeping you locked up in here for so long.”
“Would I!? Yes yes yes yes yes! Let’s go, right now!” You said excitedly, circling him in your shadow.
“Well then let’s not waste anytime shall we?”
