someone on twt pointed out that the actual Last Grimwalker in the pit was supposed to be taken out after the DoU (before Belos decided he needed to possess it to keep himself together in FtF), and this would have been the "Ideal Caleb", i got so crazed about the idea i decided it would be funny if King n Collector walked down there n got him out before Belos, plus he was starting to rot so it needed to be unearthed.

they named him Clavic , for "clavicle", because its funny, even if he wasnt made with that bone. He was told he is a grimwalker so he really doesnt get any sort of existential crisis, he is still learning how to Be a Person so they really dont over exert him, King treats him like hes an endangered species in need of a sanctuary (overall its the guilt of going with Belos treatment of grimwalkers as copycat dolls with no actual feelings for most of his life) , even if he was made to be the Ideal Caleb theres still some inevitable differences, especially the ear notch, even paler hair, scarring on the legs, but Philip is basically towards his delirious spiral major breakdown after the shitstorm that was the Human Realm, so for him this is his even worse nightmare. A Caleb that doesnt even know him or been intervened to have a forced bond with him, and proudly refers to himself a grimwalker.

At a certain point in the Toh Esquizo AU storyline, Hunter's body gets possessed by so many people that it becomes harmful. I mean, the Grimwalkers, Caleb, and even Belos himself... Geez... Give the poor boy a break.

Heres an extremely dumbass idea I thought of while rewatching parks and rec through clips

Belos: “Depressed? I’m the furthest thing from depressed. I mean, look at what I’ve accomplished. Do you see them? Do you think a depressed person could make this? No.”

But yeah I just find Caleb showing up to haunt Belos’s ass at random points and judging every life decision he’s making, so then every time Belos has to miserably fail to try to justify everything he’s done ever to (quite literally) dead silent Caleb is kinda funny in a morbid way

This time he is showing off and brings up his two grimwalkers that have lasted the longest beating his record of two years as an example of a good life decision as well as proving that he totally doesn’t need therapy

Ngl I feel bad for Pip as the poor guy just wanted to nap and got picked up just for Belos to prove a point but he stayed asleep through all of it tho

Btw Caleb is trying so hard not to loose his shit just because there’s youngins there and he doesn’t want to wake up Pip by making Belos pissed off so he’s going to stand there in silence even more menacingly and judgemental

I like the idea that despite the weird as fuck origins of Pip and Hunter, Caleb still sees them as his nephews and likes to check up on them every once in a while when he’s not haunting Belos, Caleb checks on Hunter the most because he’s constantly in dangerous situations even inside the castle so it helps Hunter a lot to have Caleb staring daggers at Belos whenever he gets violent towards Hunter because it usually stops him

On the other hand Caleb does like checking on Pip because it’s nice seeing a version of what could have been if Philip had learnt to accept the boiling isles :( also I can imagine it’s nice seeing your great x(insert number) granddaughter continue your wife’s tradition of being a menace to a stuck up society and teaching those ways to your weird mini brother/ nephew.

also fun fact Hooty can see Caleb (don’t ask how) and greatly enjoys chatting to him as Caleb was the one who managed to convince Eve to let hooty stay in their house’s door as a “guard” but really Caleb just felt bad for the wee bug demon as hooty didn’t have a home at the time and thought so he would be a fun addition to the family hence why alongside Lilith, Caleb was one of Hooty’s favourite people

btw nobody really cares or finds it unusual for hooty to just be talking to himself so not one single person has asked about it lmao

Almost forgot to mention but this is actually still a weird memory that Hunter remembers and used to wonder why on the boiling isles did Belos have those random fits of “hallucinations” until he talked about it with Pip.

Pip was just causally like “wait you couldn’t see him?” And walked off… Hunter has never found out or gotten a clear answer if Pip was actually joking or if he could straight up see dead people, Pip refuses to reveal the real answer because he finds Hunter being confused as fuck hilarious

Also if your wondering why Belos doesn’t have the cool mechanical prosthetic staff arm, he usually hides it with a glove :p (this is because a) I’m too lazy to draw such a detailed prosthetic all the time and b) I doubt Belos would like people to know he’s missing an arm as I doubt he would like the idea of seeming “weak” because in his day this would essentially be a death sentence either due to infection or being classed as less than due to not being able to work properly)

Poor Luz getting so so so frustrated (and kind of relieved. It's like half frustrated and half relieved) at how nonchalantly Hunter is taking being a Grimwalker. He's just like "So what you're telling me is that there are countless other examples of what my life would be like if you were not a part of it and they all end with 'Dead as a Doornail' and somehow you still do not understand that you are Perfect. Weird-Ass." Luz is just like ">:( Stop That!!!!"

luz having been so scared to tell him the grimwalker thing because she's terrified that maybe he won't trust himself anymore, because she's so scared that he might not be able to consent to their relationship, because why would anybody in their right mind consent to anything with luz when she is Bad,

And here we have the unfortunate truth: As things are right now, Caleb is technically (in the literary sense) an antagonist. If Hunter's goal is to figure out and fix what's wrong with his dad, Caleb's goal, for Hunter's sake, is to prevent him ever working it out, even though it means his own suffering.

Here's my newest design for my grimwalker oc from my AU!

As I mentioned before, she does spy work for Emperor Belos and reports almost EVERYTHING she sees or hears to him.

(while also training to be a backup for Hunter in case something happens and Belos needs to replace Hunter quickly))

But stuff I don't remember if I mentioned or not is that she's transgender (MTF), and she never really comes out to Belos out of fear of disappointing him or even angering him.. (it's the one thing she keeps as a secret from Emperor Belos-)

And why do they hate Caleb? He didn't do anything (at least in the Demon Realm).

Oh, I really need to talk more about this! Toh Esquizo AU is such an extensive story that it’s sometimes hard to keep track of everything.

Let’s see:

Fergus and Clarence have very curious nicknames that more or less explain the situation. The Grimwalkers call Fergus "The Exterminator" and Clarence "The Genocidal." Whether by mistake or by their own will, both ended the lives of a certain kind of people that the Grimwalkers absolutely ADORED.

As for Caleb: He is blamed for all the misfortunes that happen to them now. The Grimwalkers blame him for arriving at the Boiling Isles and bringing the "monster" with him. They hold him responsible for the extinction of a species, the crappy lives they’ve had because of him, etc. Basically, everything bad that Philip/Belos did is a consequence of Caleb's decisions (according to the Grimwalkers).

I don't think they are bad people... They've just spent many years trapped with pain and remorse, and sometimes those feelings lead you to point fingers or do immoral things. Even so, it’s undeniable that the Grimwalkers are not going to make the best decisions. Possessing Hunter is going to be a bad move, but they are already willing to do anything to put an end to Belos and get their revenge.

They all need a lot of therapy ._.
