Can't believe I didn't notice this sooner.

Bonny Village seems to have originally been a Shaman settlement, having its own "Grandmother" near a serpent skin. Shadow commoners and charred buildings show that Messmer has attacked and burnt this area before. Despite this, Marika's apology is uniquely toward her hometown. Bonny Village's previous inhabitants get no such treatment.

Imagine there was a someone who lived in pre-Erdtree times, was associated with serpents, was somewhat Marika-like but not her ally (a rival even perhaps?). Would that be fucking wild or what?

could providence from risk of rain kill Macbeth?

I'm not finding anything that would necessarily indicate that Providence's species isn't born naturally, and he doesn't seem to be robotic from what I can tell. He is also referred to with he/him pronouns, so probably no Gender Clause either, and the only other members of his species we seem to know of are his brother and an unknown entity referred to just as "her," who is the only possible candidate we have for a parent (I'm not saying she IS his parent, just that she's the only character we know of who possibly COULD be), so Birth Parent Clause is a bust as well.

Unless I'm missing something here (probably in either the Unconventional Birth Clause front or the Unique Exception front), I unfortunately don't believe that Providence from Risk of Rain could kill Macbeth.
