I also want to address a problem I've come across while making these playlists. These topics are absolutely open for discussion, any input is appreciated:
Dialect vs. language.
This question is probably as old as linguistics. You may have wondered why I have separate playlists for Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and German/Austrian German, but not for the Arabic dialects when the former are mostly or partly mutually intelligible, whereas the latter aren't always mutually intelligible.
One reason is that I can personally distinguish the former, or I can use tools to figure out whether a song is Bosnian or Croatian. AFAIK, there are no such tools for Arabic - there is only one 'Arabic' option in g*ogle translate, where I often paste lyrics to figure out the exact language (among other methods). Honestly, I have not found a way to solve this yet. I'd be open to making separate Arabic playlists, but atm I have no means to manage that. Same goes for Quechua.
A similar problem occurs with English and AAVE. Since I do speak English, I want to further educate myself on how to distinguish AAVE and English, if that's even possible (where does AAVE end and English start - is it more of a continuum or are there clear lines etc.). I do feel like it would be nice to have a separate AAVE playlist, but that really depends on if I actually can separate them, and I am especially interested in the opinions of Black people about whether an AAVE playlist would even be a good idea.
That said, I am always open to receiving feedback on this project. I am aware of the political dimension that the categorisation of languages has, and I want to make this project as fair as possible. Thank you so much for reading 💙

The Unbelievable History Of Telugu Music With Their Artist
If you love music, you must have noticed how the general masses have moved on to have multilingual preferences in the music genre. Those days are long gone when people listened to music that belonged to their language and region only. Today music has reached such a platform where people, artists and cultures exchange ideas and collaborate globally.
In furtherance to that, there has been an upheaval of Telugu music around the world. Hence, the spectrum of collaboration for Telugu dialect has moved from movies and feature films towards music, especially Telugu Karaoke Songs that have become a rave among native speakers. Similarly, music lovers have started showing their interest in karaoke. As a result, the industry has experienced a significant upsurge since sources have catered to Telugu karaoke songs with lyrics.
Telugu is one of the many Carnatic languages. It is one of the 22 recognised regional languages in India and the 15th most spoken language globally. It falls in the Dravidian family of languages. It has been deemed the official language for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, two southern states in the Indian subcontinent. Its music resonates with its rich art, culture, and history of both the States and their history.

The most dominant instruments used in Telugu music are nadaswaram, mandolin, violin, veena and mridangam, which are altogether different from the instruments used in folk music. Telugu folk music is more like musical storytelling that also involves jokes, puns, prayers and poems. Two of the most popular forms of folk music are Burra Katha and Poli. While Burra Katha is the art of storytelling, the story can be based on any theme, mythology, social and contemporary issues. Another form of storytelling, called Harikatha, also exists, in which songs are blended in the story, wherever they relate to the theme like a musical drama. The singers capture different emotions at different phases to show the various thoughts poured into the musical piece. Hence, it is the singers who carry the legacy of music with their voices.

S. P. Balasubrahmanyam - Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam is loved by millions, thrives in the heart of many more, one who has impacted both Telugu and non- Telugu music industry. He has won six National Awards for best playback singer male for his contribution in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. He has also received the Nandi Award for his work in the Tamil industry specifically. “Ammanu Minchi” and “Nuvvu Nenu” are his most famous karaoke songs, among many others.
S. Janaki- Sistla Janaki – admiringly called “Janaki Amma”, a multilingual who has sung songs across Telugu, Malayalam, Odia, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali and native languages such as Tulu, Konkani, Sindhi. She has also composed many albums in Tamil music. Karaoke lovers can’t get enough of her numbers like “Aresukoboyi Paresukunnanu” and “Vennello Godari Mendham”.
K. S. Chithra – Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra has a career spanning over four decades. This multilingual queen has spread her deep voice across foreign languages such as French, Malay, Latin, Arabic, Sinhalese and English and contributed to Tamil, Bengali, Rajasthani, Urdu, Sanskrit and Badaga, among many others. In addition, she has collaborated with maestros such as A.R Rehman, Ilaiyaraaja, KJ Yesudas and S.P. Balasubrahmanyam. She has won six National Awards, eight South Filmfare Awards, Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan. However, the melodic singer’s most defined works are “Ye Shwasalo” and “Venuvai Vachanu”, personal favourites of every Telugu karaoke session.
P. B. Sreenivas – Prathivadhi Bhayankara Sreenivas has predominated the Telugu, Konkani, Malayali, Tulu, Tamil and Hindi music industry. He has a biography to his name, `Madhurya Saarvabhowma Dr P. B. Srinivas-Naadayogiya Sunaadayaana’, written by R. Srinath. He has received honours, including the second-highest award of Karnataka State, the ‘Kannada Rajyotsava Award’ and the Kalaimamani Award by Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu State Film Honorary Award ‘Kalaivanar Award’. His most resonating karaoke songs to date are “Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham ”, “Baare Baare” and “Mayakkamaa Kalakkama” among many others.
L. R. Eswari – Lourde-Mary Rajeswari career spans her contribution to Telugu, Tulu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English. It has been awarded Tamil Nadu’s highest award in creativity and arts, the Kalaimamani Award. Her voice was considered best suited for peppy tracks like different dance tunes, folk numbers and even devotional songs. Her most popular track, “Vaarayo Thozhi” from Paasa Malar, is a crowd favourite for weddings.
The Telugu music industry is notable not only to its natives but also to people who do not even understand the language. Keeping that in mind, Abhishek has been religiously producing one single a month with the icons of Bollywood like Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy and others.
Abhishek Ray has collaborated with four generations of artists, starting from Gulzar Sahab, Asha Bhonsle to younger voices like Bhoomi Trivedi, Pratibha Baghel, Neeti Mohan. He feels that the world needs original melodies and fine voices to break the clutter of versions and covers.

I know I that I should stop typing my thoughts at 3 AM 'cause I always end up sleeping at 5 AM. Well, I dunno. The senseful things come to me at this hour eh. LOL. And hey, it's just 2:32 AM, I still have time to type before 3 AM. So, I should start.
I was tagged in a post of my dear friend, Marry Joy. It was actually a shared post, tapos t-in-ag niya ako. And guess what? Ah, whatever. Even if you don't guess, I'd still type it anyway--whatever. Three letters; U, P, K. Yep!

Her caption. Well, that's true. We dreamed of being a UP student. Hahaha. Ang sarap kayang mangarap! Ang hirap lang talaga tuparin. Well, as for me, I had chances that I chose to ignore. Alam ko kasi that it may not be what God is planning for me. My tries might be futile kasi all along, hindi ako para doon. Sa school, ha. Pero Lord, sa taga-UP, pwede po ba? Hahaha. Eeey, Anne Nicole, this one's not for that. Focus kasi, saan saan ka naman nakakarating ulit eh. Tsk.

Hanggang ngayon, amazed pa rin ako. Wth, right? Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. LOL.
Tiningnan ko 'yong mga notes ko sa Google Keep ko nung July 2017. Hahahaha. Ah, inabangan ko pala at tinandaan ang mga names nila. MALAMANG, mga Kuya at Ate eh. Magandang experience kasi kaya tatandaan ko talaga. Hahahahaha. Weird lang eh. Puro mga names lang ng mga Kuya ang nilagay ko sa Keep.

Ewan ko talaga sa'kin. Hahaha. Ang pinunta ko naman talaga doon is to experience that KF kasi hindi nga ako madalas payagan ni Mommy na sumama sa mga ganun. Ewan ko ba pero hindi naman ako prinsesa, ayaw lang talaga niyang mawalay ako sa piling niya ng napakatagal. Aaaawww, you Mommy, ha! You! Jeez, Mom. HAHAHA. Joke lang. Hindi rin talaga ako interested masiyado. March 2017, may SSG Training kami dapat. I wanted to go, ayaw lang ni Mommy. But I just shrugged and agreed. Okay lang, nakapag-SPG Training naman na 'ko sa Looc nung grade 6 ako. And Representative lang naman ako, kaya na nilang itayo ang bandera ng Sta. Fe doon. Haha. And nalaman ko sa pag-uwi nila na may ginawa silang kahihiyan dun. Hahahaha. Yikes, if I was there, hindi ako masasali kasi hindi naman ako lumalabas ng kwarto. Haha. Kinausap daw ng teacher na kasama ng officers ng SFNHS ang mga students ng ibang school ng lasing. Sir, ilam sa imo. Gosh, 'yong mga sinabi naman ni Sir eh. 😂 No regrets about my decision.
Sa UPK, iba eh. Mom, I should go. Pinapatugtog ko pa nun lagi ang mga kanta ni Mandy Moore kaya kapag pinapakinggan ko ngayon ang Someday We'll Know, feeling ko nandoon ulit ako while wearing a pair of jogging pants kasi I didn't bring any shorts. No way in hell.
Tapos nagsimula na pala ang Day 1.

Okay, I understand naman na schoolmate eh kaya dapat suportahan. Pero SIR, kung hindi ako natawa sa joke, pwedeng manahimik na lang ako. Baka masamid pa ako sa fake laugh. Damn, I did well when I sticked to my principles. May kumanta pa! Gusto ko 'yong guts ni koya pero ang lyrics, no-no. He sang something so popular na kahit hindi ko pakinggan from my phone araw araw ay masasaulo ko because it's played every freaking where. And sorry kung I sound like a proud jerk at ang OA ko naman kasi kailangan talagang ganito, but saulo ko na ang song and its sharps and flats.kaya ang disturbing lang kapag hindi niya nahi-hit ang note. When you sing a song, 'yong bagay dapat sa boses mo. Hindi lang 'yong popular, 'yan ang natutunan ko through my experiences. Haha. Whatever. Pa-cute pa ng pa-cute sa stage. Yikes, thank God hindi ako naa-attract sa itsura lang. I'd leave my body and wander as a soul if ganun. Haha. Kidding.

Kailangan kasi ng remembrance eh! Proof pa para maalala ko na nangyari nga at hindi ilusyon! At bakit ba! Binabasa. Kasi. Ang. Note. Ko. Why baaa? Twice yata akong nagbigay eh. (Walangya ka talaga, akala ko ba UP ang ipinunta? Ba't biglang naging 'taga-UP'?) Daw buang gid takon kato. Pero kalma kalma lang, baka tumaas ang energy ko bigla at lakarin ko pauwi ang Santa Fe. Kalma lang, ayaw ko pa umuwi.
Eh dahil crush ko nga, syempre tinitingnan ko. (Bwisit ko talaga, Salvador.) Hahahaha. Nakakahiyang nilalang. Papa, Mama at Mommy, hindi niyo po alam ito dahil dapat lang naman talaga, ayaw kong matakwil 'no. Hapon ng second day, nakikinig ako sa speaker nang bigla akong hipan ni Hypnos at antukin. Alipin pa naman ako ng antok ko. Haha. At kasi, nakakahiya namang humiga doon habang nagsasalita, (wait, parang mas nakakahiya ang pag-alis namin habang may nagsasalita. Pero malay naman nila, baka nakinig kami mula sa kwarto kaysa naman makita talaga nilang natutulog ako.) Natulog po ako sa room namin. Hanggang alas cinco. Yes, I missed a lot at nagsisi naman ako nung nalaman ko kung ano. SAYANG NAMAN, SALVADOR. Hindi ka na sana gumising. Tssss!!! Eh photo collage contest na, I have to watch. Nakakahiya naman na natulog lang ako, so naisip kong suportahan na ang mga ka-batch ko at ibang besties: sina Rene, Apple, Jarene, Danielle at Marvin yata. Can't remember na. Pumunta ako sa room kung saan sila gumagawa AND TO MY GREAT SURPRISE, nandoon ang crush ko. Edi hindi na ako umalis? Yep, maliban na lang nung inutusan kami dalawa ni Aaron, siya kasi kasa-kasama ko nun. Mabuti at naligo ako pagkagising ko. Amazeballs, galing mo Nyx. Iyan ang gusto ko sa'yo; kapag mukha kang ewan ay naliligo ka. At mabuti na lang at nagpalit ako ng damit dahil naka-white top ako na off shoulder, eh umuulan at hindi yata ako naka-high waist pants. (Push mo 'yan.) So nagpalit ako.
Ang creepy ko kaya magka-crush! Hahahaha. Kapag gusto ko, gusto ko talaga. Nakakahiya. Syempre nga kasi aalis naman kami agad, at hindi ko na ulit makikita ang crush ko (huhu, bye my darling dear, charot hahaha), at hindi kasi nanuod ang ibang schoolmates ko sa games nung 2nd night, kaya ni-record ko na lang. Ah, I'm such a thoughtful schoolmate. Dapat in-award-an ako niyan nung graduation eh. Tss, hindi marunong mag-appreciate. Anyway, nag-video nga ako pero 'yong sakto lang. Hindi naman siguro nahalata ng mga sumasayaw sa stage na vi-nideohan ko sila, ano? Pakialam ba nila, eh todo sayaw na sila ng Gimme Gimme, kawawa naman ang stage. Feeling ko na-harass dahil sa moves nila. Gosh, my innocence.

Aaaw, magaling sa Math. Zero balance pa naman ako sa Math. (Kidding! Medyo mabilis naman ako mag-compute ng addition at subtraction at multiplication at division mentally. Hehe. Oo, proud na ako dun kasi why not? Eh sa 'yon na ang best ko eh. Ba't ba. Haha. Sa lahi daw ng Asis ang magaling sa Math, kaso dahil sa apo na ako, medyo malayo na sa Asis kaya ang mga basic lang ang kaya ko.) Wow lang, bakit ka po Engineering? Huhuhu. Wala kang kaalam-alam pero pinagpipiyestahan ko na ang infos mo sa Facebook at tuwang tuwa pa ako. (katakot 'to) I was like, "Wow." (wow, hindi jeje HAHAHAHAHA hindi naman siya mukhang ganun pero kasi 'di ba, Hey Stephen, Taylor knows that looks can be deceiving but she thinks she saw a light in you.)
Ah, ilang beses ba akong nagpa-picture? HAHAHAHAHA. I'm so humiliating. Eh kasi naman, remembrance kasi fre eh.
Kailan nga kami umuwi? July 24 yata. Since that day, nagkaroon na ng password ang cellphone ko. Hahahaha. At, sobrang low ng brightness, feeling ko wala na akong nakita sa phone. 😂 Whatever. May nabasa kasi ako noon sa Wattpad na one shot ni ate Rayne Mariano eh. 15 Days. Yep. Naniwala ako doon. Hahaha. Eh kasi bata pa ako noon, mga 17. Hahaha. Whatever.
Hindi na natanggal ang password ko ever since that day. Wala naman talaga akong tinatago sa phone ko. 15 days ko lang naman sana ilalagay ang lock. Kaso nakita naman agad nila ang tinatago ko kaya I shrugged the idea off na lang. Bahala na nga, yago ran basi gani nagpinati takon man. Hay nako.

Rushabh Bokefode was an Indian music composer, singer and songwriter. He was born on 02 July, Barshi. He learnt classical music from GUNJAN Music in Barshi and at the same time he learned teaching Father Suresh Bokedode Music. After his on Company Team At DSB And Anil GUNJAN MUSIC PRODUCTION In 2012 he shifted to Barshi Road Siddhartha Nagar where he started composing songs and singing. His first song ‘Never Want’ was song by him and released in 2020. Metti Oli (transl. Remakes[edit]
The series has been remade into in Kannada language as Mangalya on Udaya, Malayalam language as Minnukettu on Surya, Hindi language as Shubh Vivah on Sony tv and Telugu language as Akshantalu on Gemini TV. But the story lines change in all four language into different stories and all had a different climax. While the Kannada and Malayalam versions were successful, Hindi version Shubh Vivah did not garner expected ratings and was pulled off air within 4 months considering its low ratings.[5]

Remembering Kamal Amrohi on his 25th death anniversary.
Syed Amir Haider Kamal Naqvi, popularly known as Kamal Amrohi (17 January 1918 – 11 February 1993) was a film director and screenwriter. He was an Urdu and Hindi poet. He is famous for his Hindi films such as Mahal (1949), Pakeezah (1972) and Razia Sultan (1983). He established Kamal Pictures (Mahal Films) in 1953 and Kamalistan Studio in Bombay in 1958.
In 1938, he left Amroha to study in Lahore, now part of Pakistan, where singer K. L. Saigal discovered him and took him to Mumbai (Bombay) to work for Sohrab Modi's Minerva Movietoon film company, where he started his career working on films like Jailor (1938), Pukar (1939), Bharosa (1940), A.R.Kardar's film (Shahjehan 1946). He made his debut as a director in 1949, with Mahal, starring Madhubala and Ashok Kumar, which was a musical hit, with songs by Lata Mangeshkar and Rajkumari Dubey.
He directed only four films; of these were Mahal (1949) for Bombay Talkies, Daera 1953 with Meena Kumari and Nasir Khan, Pakeezah, which was conceived in 1958 but was not brought to the screen until 1972. He also wrote the screenplay, lyrics and produced the latter. This was followed by Razia Sultan (1983), his last film. Though, he started a film, Majnoon with Rajesh Khanna and Rakhee as leads, however the film got shelved.
He wrote scripts for the movies made by Sohrab Modi, Abdul Rashid Kardar and K. Asif. He was one of the four dialogue writers for the latter's famous 1960 movie, Mughal-e-Azam, for which he won the Filmfare Award.
As a director, he developed a style that combined a stylised direction with minimalist performances. This style was different from the one with expressive acting that was common in Indian cinema of his period.
In 1958, he started Kamaal Studios for his banner Mahal Films, though it closed down after three years and later changed hands to become Natraj Studios.
It was mentioned that the last movie he wanted to make was called Aakhri Mughal. He had written a substantial portion of the script. But it went into oblivion after his death. Noted film maker J P Dutta was to revive the film in the late 1990s which was supposed to have been Abhishekh Bachchan's debut movie. But later Dutta scrapped the project. He was again planning to revive the film in 2007 after the debacle of his costume drama Umrao Jaan (2006) remake from the cult film from the 80s.

Actor Paras Kalnawat aka Samar Shah of Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa turns poet! Paras Kalnawat might be getting good reviews for his acting in his latest project but the actor is already trying his hands at other things. Paras recently posted some poems written by him on his social media handle and the actor now plans to take his writing skills further. “I started writing poetry and other stuff just a year ago, and during the lockdown, I actually wrote a lot of poems,” shares Paras, who is presently seen in Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa on Star Plus. He adds, “No one in my family has a flair for writing and it is surprising that I suddenly developed a liking for it. I mainly write in Hindi only but yes I do use some Urdu words in my poetry. In fact, these days I also improvise a lot of my dialogues in the serial. Plus, I am also writing my own version of the iconic song Bade Acche Lagte Hai. Till now I have written two paragraphs of the song and soon I will complete the lyrics.” The actor adds, “I observe things and situations around me and then accordingly I pen those things in the form of poetry. Take for example, I wrote a lot of stuff on the on-going lockdown and the people suffering because of it. Those who read my penned thoughts suggested me to write a book, to which I have given a thought but that will take a lot of time.” “I was always good in Hindi but I kind of got attracted to Urdu when I was doing my last serial Mariam Khan Reporting live. I then started searching a lot of Urdu words and their meanings and usage,” he shares. So does he plan to take up writing professionally now? “Yes, I do. In fact, it's not been many days since I have started posting my poetry online and I have received a good response from people. A friend of mine, who is a singer, contacted me to write some good lyrics for her next song. At least one student was injured in a shooting at a Florida high school Friday and a suspect was in custody, police said. The Marion County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred at Forest High School in Ocala, Fla. School board member Nancy Stacey confirmed to Fox News that the suspected gunman and person injured are both students. The student was allegedly shot in the ankle and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The identities of both students were not immediately available. The Ocala Star Banner reported the two students were both male. The school is currently on lockdown as police clear the area.
