I'm especially happy with the last 2 drawings tho cause I finally got some sharpies so I won't have to use pen as the outline ^^ (I'm not a fan of using pen tbh but didn't have any good sharpies for the first page in this notebook 😭) also a band thing went well yesterday, I ate sushi with some besties

"Hit The Snooze" by The Living Tombstone

Hit The Snooze, released in 2022, follows a young-ish* girl (aptly known as "Hit the Snooze Girl" by the TLT fanbase) who struggles with anxiety suffering through the quarantine of 2020. What this song does different than most other forms of media that discuss quarantine is that it goes deeper than just "I'm stuck in my house I'm so bored". It goes into the impact it had on friendships, the sinking feeling that every day is the same and that waking up is pointless, using sleep as an escape, suicidal ideations, etc. I relate to Hit The Snooze so much even after quarantine has already ended for the most part. I feel like this song knows me on a personal level and understands what I feel on a day to day basis. This song knows me more than my own mother does. The animated music video that goes along with the song om youtube is great too. It's very well animated with a pretty charming artstyle. I highly recommend watching it.

*HTS Girl's age is a little confusing. The video shows her in a school setting, but the lyrics mention drinking beer to deal with the pain and drinking is something minors can't do?? Idk.

I did a PLT interview in band, and my main director predicts that I'll like the extra class I'm taking, which is one where you get to help someone in the Special Education learn to play an instrument of their choice. Something about me "brimming with kindness" which, sometimes I don't feel like I am 😅 but I try my best, and I know I'm sensitive to other's feelings cause of being sensitive

The fact that Katsuki took that All Might card INTO BATTLE is insane to me. When he first pulls it out, he is in vestige land so in my mind the card very well could have been something that he usually had, but didn’t actually carry that day.

But then, y’know, we see it lying on the ground next to him, bloody and damaged. And Izuku sees it too. Bakugou Katsuki really suited up for the final fight, the fight-to-end-all-fights, and he put that card in his pocket.

He says he wants All Might to sign it and that’s probably true, but the card has obviously become much more than just that. I wonder if Katsuki started carrying the card around after he started attending UA, in the hope of finding the right moment to ask All Might to sign it. Or maybe he started carrying it around even before that, after All Might saved him from the sludge villain.

If so, that card has seen him through his entire journey of self-discovery. He got that card with Izuku, at a time when they were still friends, and then he started carrying it around while they slowwwwwly repaired their relationship.

Obviously the card means a lot to Katsuki. But I really think has become a little memento of Izuku to him. A reminder of what he’s lost, how much he’s grown, and where he still wants to go after all of this. In that sense, Katsuki really chose to take a little piece of Izuku into battle with him, even while knowing that he (and it) might get hurt. Maybe especially then.

Carrying a token of your loved one into battle??? That’s some romantic shit right there guys.

I think a lot of people with adhd mistake processes for habits. I know I did for a long time, until I saw that one post explaining how habits are automatic (wtf how does that even work).

I have processes, and a lot of the time they fall apart if the wrong thing happens at the wrong time, and then it’s like moving a brick wall to get started again.

I’m not sure if this is making sense but anyway. Clicking on my turn signal is a process, wherein I think about turning and I decide to move my hand. And I guess for some people they don’t have to have the thought to do it?

im sure someone else made a post about this already, and I just haven't seen it, but someone's definitely ratfishing AS "Sam Reich", right? we see him once at the start of the episode and then never again. I refuse to believe that in an episode with fun room for every player, they didnt take the opportunity to put Sam in a fun room too unless something was up
