How I love this man

You, Dean, and Sam were working on a case outside of a town. Bobby couldn't figure out what that thing was, and all of you were in the dark. All you could do was read and read and read. It has been one week, and still nothing has changed in the case.

Sam stood up from the chair and claimed that he needed a break and that he was going shopping. Dean was too focused to look at him and just asked Sam for some pie.

You put your book down and looked over at Dean, who had a pen between his teeth and another one behind his ear. A soft giggle left your lips as you found his very focused frown so amusing.

He finally looked up from the books that were laid all over the small motel table and looked at you with an even more confused look. You burst out laughing and said between laughters - "Gosh, how much I love you."

He still looked at you with a confused look but soon afterwards started giggling, too. After a few moments, he realised what you just said and dropped the pen - "You what??"

Sam

After you left Dean to talk with one of the witnesses, you and Sam went back to the motel to do your research on the case that you were facing.

You've known the boys for a few years now, but this was your first hunt with them. Being in the area, you just couldn't say no to helping them discover the mystery of this crime and the monster behind everything.

"Hey, I think I found something," said Sam from across the table, straightening his back. "Come check this out." His voice was soft and calm, and his forehead finally relaxed after hours of him frowning at the screen.

You stood up from your seat and walked behind where he was to glare at his laptop. There was a piece of mythology that you clearly overlooked. It was all there, connecting all the dots. Sam finally figured it out.

Before you knew what you were doing, you wrapped your hands around his shoulders and gave him a quick hug. "Oh my God, you figured it out! I love you so much! Good job, Sam."

As your words escaped your lips, you could feel him tens up. He cleared his throat and turned towards you with a puzzled look on his face.

Cas

It has been a few days since you were trying to figure out what was going on in that town. Cas asked you for help due to the fact that the Winchesters were on a separate hunt. You quickly said yes, partially from wanting to help those people, partially for being able to spend more time with him.

You've liked Cas for quite some time now - his awkward remarks, his funny comebacks, him still trying to figure out technology - you found it all very endearing.

Crowley

When you made your way towards the coven of witched who has been theorising the town, you couldn't help but feel a bit more safe since you were with your guardian angel. Unfortunately, the hunt didn't go as planned, the witched left long before you got there, and left behind some curses for you to discover. One of them was (funny enough) a truth spell that got you panicking so bad.

Before Cas could even help you calm down or heal you, you started blabbering about a lot of things. "... oh my God, Cas you need to stay away from me, I am being serious. We don't know what other hexes are there. And you can't know that I like you. You really can't know that. Plus there may be -" you pressed your hand against your lips to finally shut you up. Cas was so confused and looked at you with a big frown on his face, not really grasping what you just said.

You've been held hostige for a few days now by a group of vamps that were planning on slowly feeding on you. You've been praying to each and every diety that you knew, but no one answered. Finally, you decided to give in and call for Crowley, as your last resort.

"Crowley, if you hear me and if you can help me, get your ass here. I don't know how much longer I can hold on."

You never really trust Crowley, but the last few times that you were forced to work with him, made you realise that maybe he isn't that bad. As time went on, you started fencing him more and more, but you still didn't want to make any deals with deamons.

Tilting your head back you took another deep breath, trying to think of who else to call in for help.

"Just as useless as always, Crowley." You said to yourself. "I can't believe that I like you... The only time I need you, you-"

U know, ive always finded weird that most of the people sayed that her bad end was "turning into the other mother"??? Idk if thats a thing on the book? (I cant read 😭) but since i only watched the movie i imagined coraline as a ghost.

Now some hcs about her!

She used to wander around various places aimlessly, until she found the place where the other BEFs lived. She stayed out of curiosity to see them do things since she found them strange but interesting

The first person who noticed about her presence was Ice Finn! Since he can see ghosts and spirits. He had funny chitchats with her and decided he will take her with him to the house. Besides it wasn't the first ghost he invited of course.

Wirt end up noticing her too, Coraline found him perfect to annoy so she decided to stay in the house so she could hostigate Wirt and talk with Finn.

It's hard for me to say this, but you have to be ready for a Milei victory tomorrow, even though I doubt he will win in the first round. Don't expect things to change this fast. I'm hoping for a SCHIARETTI SWEEP that will somehow leave him out of the ballotage, or that people will react and vote for someone else, or that Massa voters who stayed home at the paso will show up in droves. I'm hoping, but I'm not hopeful. Sometimes you are being caught in the waves of history and have to deal however you can, sometimes you can't stand against millions of people driven by rage, sometimes you have to hunker down and get ready for the reactionary winter.

The truth is, Kirchnerism, for all it uplifted this country, failed to consolidate its gains. Cristina and Alberto could not, or worse, did not want to, sieze the moment when they could have, even when hostigated by all kinds forces like our pajeros finacieros who orgasmed when the dollar reached 1000. They also did fail into addressing so many things, from security to corruption until people finally tired of it all. And there's just a reactionary, conservative wave among youth that is hard to explain, even when taking into account the powerful conservative media here. A candidate like Massa is the emblem of failure. Whatever happens next, even if Milei loses, will be uncertain. Please don't be surprised or despair if he wins, and don't be smug and confident if he loses, because he will still have millions who resonated with his message, and what we do with all them? Things will have to change, it will be a long, long struggle to change their minds and try to rebuild a popular project. How long, though? How long will our country endure the normality of crisis? One has to wonder what happens from here.

Anyways. Be ready to take the streets. If anything can be said about Milei, is that he is not a liar. He will try to implement his agenda, and everyone who knows it must resist.

Odd Interlude; Odd Apocalypse, by Dean Koontz

Odd Interlude

From Magic Beach, Odd and Annamaria stop in the small town of Hamony Corners. What follows is a story that is closely connected to the Moonlight Bay books and makes my skin crawl.

So last year I tried to read John Dies at the End and couldn't because of bugs and mind control elements.

Odd Interlude has both of these in icky detail, and the only reason I made it through it the first time, years ago, is because it's a short story and I was stubbornly determined to read all the books in this series. It also made me roll my eyes because the addition of sentient computer that doesn't spend most of its time talking to a toaster, is just cheesy.

The whole of the town is under the intermittent mind control of a scientist that escaped Moonlight Bay. He occupies each person's mind in turn and holds the whole town hostige because he can also force groups of them to act against their will and kill or maime those that resist.

Odd is somehow immune to this entity and he, a little girl and the watered down Hal are the only ones that can save the people of Harmony Corners.

Annamaria spends the story peacefully locked in a motel room.

It's not a bad story, just freaks me out and it's a little boring because the action is a little subdued through most of it.

I will say I don't think I had the right reaction to Odd being immune to the mind powers.

Whatever it is that allows for Odd to do all that he does makes his mind impenetrable. An benefit of his special ability.

However, I watched Futurama long before I read Dean Knootz and all I can think about is Fry being immune to the flying brains making everyone stupid because his brain is cobbled together out of the brainwave equivalent of carpet remnants.

Odd Apocalypse

After Harmony Corners Annamaria somehow talks a rich finance guy , Noah Wolflaw, into letting she and Odd stay at his estate - a beautiful but unsettling place - called Roseland.

Odd sees the ghost of a blonde woman and her Friesen horse. The spirit seems to be worried for her child that is at Roseland. A child that Odd has not seen and no one on the -strangely small - staff have mentioned.

The staff and Wolflaw are hostile to Odd and even Wolflaw is confused as to why he let Annamaria talk him into having guests. Through wondering around the estate Odd discovers all sorts of weirdness and must battle foes, to save the innocent.

This one... okay... um...

There are violent caveman like mutant pigs that shift in and out of Roseland from a future where nuclear wars and nanoswarms have been problems.

Which is the most unhinged sentence I have written in a while, and I've been reading Discworld, which is deliberately ridiculous.

Turns out that Roseland is a sort of time bubble. Created by Nikola Tesla, who was not meaning to make a place where Animal Farm could meet Lex Luthor in his mad scientist phase.

Wolflaw and staff are actually a group of friends who have been immortal since the early 1900's. They started out sick and twisted and have gotten worse over time.

Odd must bring justice to the ghost woman, bring the eternal people down, and save the child

While dodging the pig people who have axes and a thirst for blood.

The child, Timothy - is kinda immortal but also kinda dead and had been 9 years old for 80 or so years. And it would take way too long to make that make sense. As well as being kinda immortal and kinda dead, he's also kinda annoying.

Annamaria is out there outsmarting pigs and using her inscrutable way to confuse the Roselanders along with Odd, every step of the way.

Just kidding!

She spends the whole book locked in her guest rooms. Odd checks on her a couple of times, she talks in circles and sends him out to risk his life and get his ass kicked.

This book is bonkers, makes absolutely no sense in the theme of the series and brings in Tim who will end up doing less than Annamaria.

However, in comparison to the last two books in the series, it's at least entertaining.

Odd, spends most of his time alone which leaves him to muse on the absurd. He let's himself be more of a smartass which is always fun. He also has a couple of run ins with a character named Kenny who is such an unlikely and surprisingly likeable ally that he is my favorite part of the whole thing.

Off the rails and on fire, the Odd Apocalypse train may be, but it's a hell of a show.

3) igeret hateshuva- letter of repentance (how to do teshuva in a way that not only will u be completely forgiven, u will be even higher than before. He talks about the two different kinds of teshuva according to what it says in kabbalah) 12 chapters

4) igeret hakodesh- letters of holiness (letters he wrote, kind of like a commentary on the kabbalah of different mitzvos. Addressed as, once u have gone through the three books, this is a deeper level u can dive into) 32 chapters

5) kuntres acharon- last thesis (letters where he talks about controversial things in kabbalah.) 9 chapters

What i didnt know about living in israel- that after years of wishing for a settled apartment with my own room that i can play guitar and paint and get dressed in, id be hugging myself rocking and crying, feeling so lonely. I feel just so lonely and im not used to it. Because i shared a room with my best friends.

I am so greatful that in a time where everyone is getting sick, i can take a day to just rest my body. Do the meeting i need to, but be minimally social otherwise, putting not essential things off for tomorrow, and just know that since coming, life is hectic, but everything is wonderful.

ACTUALLY☝🏼! I thought about for quite some time after they were both held hostige (idk if I wrote it right).

So let me ramble a bit - I do believe that if Kie wouldn’t join Pouges and Rafe wouldn’t hate that much dislikeness towards her (‘cause I noticed that she doesn’t try to fix these things and lets others do it for her) there could possibly be something maybe, but I don’t think a full relationship.

Like I believe that in the past Rafe might have liked Kie as at the beggining he straight up disliked Pouges, but I feel like he was a bit different with Kiara for a moment before it all gone to shit.

Honestly, I don’t think they’d work out as a couple, but I think there’d be unrequired love/likeness from Rafe, but that’d be about it.
