If you think withholding water from millions of people is okay for any reason whatsoever then you're a little fascist bitch.

Indian Government: we are at the brink of war with Pakistan, so it is vital that we prepare our citizens for the possibility of air strikes and power outages. To this end, we will be conducting mock drills across the nation on at 4pm on May 7th. Just in case Pakistan starts a war with us

*Next world meeting*
Alfred stepping up to the podium: I would first like to apologize for winning and "making history" in a sport neither i nor my people have ever really cared about. Going forward I will do better to avoid Googling "how does cricket work?" in front of other nations who care very deeply about the sport while my team crushes their team...in Texas

So yesterday India bombed Pakistan and because of it the schools are closed and everything even though it didn't happen in my city and a few minutes ago I heard a huge banging noise and I thought I was gonna die but turns out some people had blasted fireworks really close to my house (someone must have been getting married or something) and they looked so huge from the window I think this is the first time I could see fireworks this large from home

I was raised to believe in tradition. I grew up hearing that a woman's true home is with her husband, that marriage is half of her faith, the ultimate purpose of her existence. I was taught that as a woman, I have to cover myself, that I must remain unseen until the day I am given to a man. And then to let him take from me, in ways I have spent my whole life avoiding.
And when that moment comes, I cannot hesitate. I cannot shy away. I must be willing. I must be ready.
And for the longest time I did not question it.
There is no pain like the pain of a dream you have held so close to yourself coming undone. Realizing that marriage, the very thing you were conditioned to look forward to, is not about love at all. That it was never about love. Marriage is just a facade. A tool for patriarchal control.
Waking up to your own reality, is such an intimate type of violence. Realizing that this is something you experience. That it's not an abstract concept, something to debate about in sociology and talk about amongst peers. Realizing that when the conversation ends, I go home to it.
It is not a theory. It is not history. It is my reality.

india denied an international investigation into pahalgam and has been unrelentlessly attacking pakistan over it. they have bombed multiple civilian areas without offering any unbiased proof of pakistan being behind this even though pakistan offered for an unbiased 3rd party to investigate pahalgam.
i know modi supporters are propaganda fed idiots who think every pakistani man, woman, and child is a terrorist, but in 50 years, let it be remembered who really started this war, because currently, only one country seems to be pushing for it and it's india.
india is the one attacking civilians without any proof that pakistan was behind pahalgam. if anyone's acting like a terrorist here, it's the indian military, trying to kill innocent people with no proof.
and don't take this as me being a pakistani nationalist and supporting our military or our country or the war, because i don't. this is solely about remembering just who is so devoted to escalating this and why.
it's modi, trying to cling onto power just a little bit longer, and in doing so, turning india into a hindu fascist state chock full with false news and propaganda.
