Blesssss you for indulging me 🤭🤣 Love odd details that don't really matter, but when we imagine scenarios with these two, we’re kidding ourselves if we say we’re not conjuring a vivid image. Maybe too vivid but ehh. I'll broaden the topic a bit, too. Just about appearances in general (separate the characters from the actors)
Once he gets a little older, my vision for Mike is that he's a hairy guy. Dark chest hair on his pale skin (love that contrast), a nice happy trail, scruffy chin hair more often than not, oh my god. And he is so not manscaping, dude barely styles the hair on his head. Wild and free, baby. Au naturale. I’ve seen others' ideas that I'm co-opting in agreement with because the situation is hysterical - but maybe he shaves his pubes off once just on impulse because he really doesn't care and thought why the hell not, just to see, and Will has a meltdown hahaha.
Will loves Mike's body hair, and there's nothing better than working and working on his very not insubstantial man and the satisfying feeling of taking his dick all the way down, the heady rush of accomplishment when those coarse curls finally brush his face. He just thinks everything about Mike's body is such a turn on, that's his man, this is how his body looks. He loves that Mike, even through his insecurities, doesn't really fuss or do anything about his appearance and he still looks like that. Effortlessly sexy even when for lack of a better descriptor - he's a bit of a mess. Not mess, really, or unkempt either, it's not like he's dirty. Just natural. The unintended confidence brought on when Will looks at his same old everyday body like a feast. He wouldn't wax his whole body, not exactly what he's going for, but he doesn't grow a ton of body hair anyway (at least not compared to Mike). Sparse on his chest, and he likes that. Once in a while I see him getting rid of it, it depends. Otherwise, he definitely trims up his pubes, keeps nice and neat. He likes the image it presents since once he can afford it, he prefers to wear really nice underwear everyday and he enjoys a certain look, even if he knows that Mike would be crazy about him no matter what he wore. Just his little indulgence. Looking nice makes him feel more confident. And he usually sports a clean shaven face (though even older still, I've seen several wonderful fanarts depicting him with a neat little mustache and I diiiiied, I kinda love that on him), but when he lets it go a few days not shaving Mike really takes advantage. 😘

Staying Extraordinary - A Buffy and Dawn Fic

Summary: On a shopping trip with Dawn, Buffy can't get over that her little sis wants to date one of her best friends, Xander, who is so much older than her. But Dawn gets it through to Buffy why she loves Xander (and that Buffy might be being a tad hypocritical and over-protective), and the sisters have a truly beautiful day together.

Staying Extraordinary
"Dawn, I can't believe you want to date Xander," Buffy said, gagging. This was the worst news she'd gotten since hearing that the only one who could get rid of Angel's curse was Gwen: a girl he had once somewhat liked. She would let the girl work her telekinetic magic, of course, because finally getting to be with Angel was the most important thing. But would she be overtly happy about it? No.
Dawn glared at Buffy—and, okay, Buffy could somewhat understand why her sister would do this, since she was making a scene during their mall outing; but didn't Dawn at all care about how icky the idea of her and Xander together made her feel?—before hitting her with one of her shopping bags. "Don't even try to hit me with the age thing, Buffy, because you know how well that will pan out for you. But in all seriousness, what can I say? Xander's the one guy who's ever gotten me."
"I seem to remember a time when you thought Spike hung the moon and had your number," Buffy quipped, as she sat down at the mall's lovely fountain that, for some reason, looked like a tyrannosaurus Rex. Angel would have been appalled if he saw it and would have been sitting here, drawing a better fountain for the mall to put in its place. "And I'm not saying this because I want you to date Spike. Hell, no! But Dawnie, doesn't this mean you’re wrong in saying Xander’s the one guy who’s ‘ever gotten you?’"
“More like I grew up from my childish crush, like you long ago did yours on Tyler,” Dawn laughed, digging into her Maurices bag for the two tops she’d bought, clearly deeming the subject closed. “Okay, Buffy, tell me your opinion about which shirt I should wear for my choir concert. We’re supposed to wear red: and this cute blood red polk-a-dot, short sleeve shirt probably fits that idea best… but I’m afraid it’ll make my arms look fat. This long-sleeve shirt with the sweetheart neckline, and the subtle cheetah print is nice, but it’s more orangey-red—so maybe not a dark enough red—and I’m afraid if I start sweating under the armpits, you’ll really be able to tell with this blouse. What do you think?”
Buffy scoffed at the idea that her little sis’ arms could ever look fat. Dawnie had always been thin. Almost too much for her own good. In fact, Buffy remembered around the time their mom had gotten sick, their friends and family had started worrying that Buffy was losing too much weight, but Buffy had often wondered why they hadn’t said the same thing about Dawn…
“I’d go for the blood red one,” Buffy cautioned her sister. And not finding it at all ironic that she was telling the Key to wear something the shade of blood in the slightest. “Especially if you guys are supposed to be having a somewhat uniform look. You don’t want to distract from that.”
“Thanks, Buffy!” Dawn all but sang. And now, she was pulling out the bag she’d gotten from Claire’s, of all places. And Buffy could just about hear the question that was coming—about if wearing fake hair extensions that were way different from her natural hair color would be too distracting. Or maybe the same question, but about a pair of funny socks instead. Buffy loved Dawn… but sometimes she was still somehow such a pre-teen at heart.
Before Dawn could get to that question, Buffy held up a hand and reminded her: “So, about Xander.”
And here, Dawn rolled her eyes and reminded Buffy, “You know how Kevin stood me up during my sophomore year Homecoming at the University of Rhode Island, and I called you, crying, in the bathroom. It was you who then suggested Xander show up using my extra ticket. And he cheered me up, doing the Chicken Dance in front of everyone. What kind of girl wouldn’t fall for him after that?”
Okay, so Buffy did remember that. But she had suggested that Xander go to see Dawn platonically—because she knew what good friends the two of them had always been, and how good Xander was at lifting anyone’s spirits. She hadn’t been counting on-
“There’s something else, too, but I kind of promised myself I’d never tell you. I sort of thought I’d never have to,” Dawn said looking at Buffy with a kind of seriousness that took Buffy aback now. And Buffy wondered if she was going to have to tell Dawn to take back the cute silver, sparkly pants she’d bought her today—in seeing them at Maurices and thinking that they were just so her—because if she’d missed something that was so obviously weighing on her baby sister’s shoulders this much, she surely didn’t deserve them.
“Tell me,” Buffy told Dawnie at once, all the while wishing she could invent a time machine just so she could use it and go back and protect her sister from all harm.
“I swear it’s really no big deal and doesn’t bother anymore, Buffy,” Dawn explained, playing with her fingers, before looking back up into Buffy’s eyes, which just served to make Buffy worry all the more. “But… before- before Amanda was called as a Potential… and how I still miss her…”
“Dawn-” Buffy started, wondering if this was going to be about the death of Amanda, and how terribly she still mourned the Slayer she’d started to see as a friend, and just how badly Buffy had messed up when dealing with the First (something that Buffy still felt in her soul).
But Dawn cut her off by patting her on the shoulder twice. “No, let me finish, Buffy. Umm… At that time, Willow, Xander, Anya, and I… before we found Amanda, we actually all thought that the Potential Slayer… was me.”
At that new information, Buffy couldn’t help but gasp. She had definitely never heard this before. And she wondered first, how Willow’s spell seemingly could have gotten that information wrong. And also, why no one had ever shared this with her before. “…What? Dawn, what did this-”
But Dawn was already interrupting Buffy’s thoughts before she could get too in-depth with them. “And I… I actually really wanted to be a Slayer at the time, Buffy. I wanted to be like you.”
But you are like me. In all the ways that matter. And I would never want you to be a Slayer, and to suffer the way I have, Buffy thought. And even while not being a Slayer, you’ve done so much. And without my powers, which is even more impressive, Buffy tried to say. But before she could, Dawn was speaking again.
“But we found out pretty quickly, that the Potential was actually Amanda… And after we did. I was- I was devastated. Though I tried to hide it. And… the only one who could see how I really felt, was Xander. And he- He explained to me how I- I’m extraordinary: to have been so hurt by what happened, and not say anything. And to continue on as I always did. …‘To be one so close to the spotlight, but never step into it.’”
“He was right,” said Buffy, reluctantly smiling now, as everything became clear to her, and she saw so many things in a new light. Like Angel once had, perhaps she was having her own epiphany. “He’s a smart one, that Xander Harris. And I… I understand, Dawn. I understand why you love him. I of course understand why he loves you.
“And I- I’m sorry. You were right. I was being a hypocrite. And way too overprotective of you. I suppose I always will be. You’re my little sister, y’know? But… not that you need it: but you two do have my blessing.”
And pulling Dawn into a one-armed hug, that Dawn also rolled her eyes at (though that Buffy could tell was half-hearted), the Slayer couldn’t help feeling she’d found some much-needed balance here.
And if she’d overcome this hurdle with Dawn about Xander, that she never would have thought she would, maybe she would be able to about the solution to Angel’s curse, too.
“Now come on, Dawnie: let’s go find you the most rocking skirt or dress pants for your choir concert—I won’t judge about which you choose,” said Buffy upon standing up to do just that.
And Dawn seemed to find a second wind upon hearing that, as she sprang up with her bags in hand, grabbed Buffy’s arm, and began running with her towards Old Navy—while Buffy laughed at her enthusiasm—it was a good day, indeed.

Most pugs have a thick coat of coarse hair. These little tan furballs will naturally shed old or damaged hair through a phenomenon called molting. Shedding is a natural loss of hair in dogs that allows the new coat to come in. Though shedding is a normal process for pugs, the amount and frequency of hair that is shed often depend on your pug’s health. It may also depend on the season—many pugs develop thick coats during the winter that are then shed in puffs of pug hair in the spring.

Properly Grooming A Pug Will Involve:
Bathe once every 3–4 weeks.
Cleaning the wrinkles daily
Brushing the coat every 1 to 3 days
Cleaning the eye area daily
Cleaning the ears: The ear flaps several times per week, and the ear canals every 6 weeks.
Paw care every 2 weeks
Nose care, as needed, but usually every 1 to 3 weeks in the wintertime
Trimming the nails every 6 weeks
While these could appear to be loads of tasks, the staggered frequency of these grooming elements helps keep things from becoming too overwhelming. Pug bath time is fun for everyone! Bathing your pug once a month is nice for hygiene and helps create a powerful bond between you and your pug! Preferably use a mild, hypoallergenic shampoo that doesn't irritate your pug’s skin or dry out that ever-shedding pug hair. Pugs are extremely liable to dermatitis-type conditions; thus, opt for your puppy's shampoo cautiously.

And if that was the case, I'd choose to keep getting rid of mine. We've all heard the same excuse parrotted around: "I just like the way it feels." And I did. Of course I did. I was used to the smooth skin and that baby soft feel, the validation and admiration that came with having a perfect, hairless...everything. I was okay with other women making the choice to have it because their choice wasn't going to make me feel otherly. I never genuinely understood how miserable it was to maintain the routine until my sophomore year of high school. It had become as second nature to me as brushing my teeth or washing my hair. But, I chose to stop shaving. Over the years, I would cave to the misery and get rid of it all over again, but eventually I'd let it grow out, and it was uncomfortable. It was scary. The prickling hair drove me crazy, the sandy feel of my legs making me squirm once it had grown out. I loathed putting lotion on. It felt like I had to use half the bottle just to get to my legs. Jeans in the summer until I couldn't stand it anymore, friends that flushed with embarrassment when we'd go to the pool. A mother pleading me to do it again, "for me". Struggling to find products that would work for me because women's hygiene isn't formulated with women's natural selves in mind... by now, I don't think I've shaved in over 4 years, and I certainly don't feel so otherly anymore. Was it the easy choice? Was it the comfortable one? Not at all, but I feel as though it was the necessary one.
