Could I request some headcanons for Hisoka? Sfw/fluff. The reader is a child (killua and gon's age, and travels with them) and somehow got attached to him. Even though gon and killua find him super creepy and don't trust him, y/n doesn't find him off-putting at all and wants to hang out with him. Like at heavens arena, instead of being disgusted at his little show he put on, she was amazed he could do such things. Reader doesn't have a dad so he kind of takes that role in her eyes. She thinks he's really cool and follows him around when he's in the area. Reader is also training as an assassin (not quite as good as killua though) so she doesn't find his desire for killing scary. I just want some cute hc's between hisoka and his little admirer :)) fem or gn pronouns.

— killua and gon would be very, very confused at the fact that you don’t find hisoka creepy. they would both try to reason with you, but wouldn’t hold it against you if you stand your ground on the subject. although, they might be a little concerned for your wellbeing.

— hisoka would have already noticed that you favor him for than the other two, and would be more than a little flattered.

— hisoka strikes me at the tough love type of father figure. while he would dote on you, he would also make it very clear that he expects good things from you.

— hisoka would make sure you’re well fed and would go out of his way to protect you.

— i definitely see hisoka being similar to illumi in terms of the extent of his protectiveness. at some point, even killua and gon would have noticed his presence around you at all times, whether or not you knew it.

— when you ask hisoka to train you so you can protect yourself better, he would smile and tell you that he can protect you just fine. if you insist, he’ll teach you, but when he’s training you, he won’t go easy on you.

— hisoka absolutely adores you. he won’t go out of his way to hide blatant murder from you, but when he sees the way your eyes sparkle after he kills someone, his chest swells with pride.

— in all honesty, i can see hisoka making you a mini-him. not exactly forcing his own ideals onto you, but planting those seeds.

— when you tell hisoka that you think of him as a father figure, his gaze would soften almost unnoticeably and pat your head with a smile.

— hisoka would change a bit after that, he’d be a bit gentler with you, even more attentive and protective, and would make sure that he has eyes on you in some form at all times. you’re his kid, so he doesn’t want to lose you.

— when hisoka is participating in heavens arena, he won’t ascend a level unless you do. he will purposefully sabotage himself just so he can be sure that you’re safe.

— before hisoka’s fight with kastro, he’ll search for you in the crowd and give you an extravagant bow to see you smile.

— during his fight, he’ll do his best to keep an eye on you so he knows you’re not in any trouble.

— hisoka will play card games with you all day long if you’ll let him. he loves seeing you pout when he beats you, but also loves seeing you smile pridefully when he lets you win. also, expect a lot of card towers.

— hisoka will teach you nen once he deems you well versed in combat. he probably won’t let you take the hunter exam unless you really want to, just because he doesn’t want anything to happen to you.

— all in all, a (kinda) creepy dad that dotes on you :DD

I mostly wanna know how’d he “handle” blatant disrespect from someone he cares about or if he’d even take it and just let her go without being able to forgive her

Kurapika is a smart man, he knows this isn’t how you usually behave. He’s studied you for months and spent so much time with you that he almost knows you more than you know yourself.

He’s read up on how humans react to captivity, knowing that you’ll have mood swings and bouts of depression or rage. Kurapika has planned for all of this, and prepared to eventually be insulted or degraded at some point.

Well… he thought he was prepared, but when you said that his clan was better off dead… he kind of lost it. Before you knew it, you were pinned to the ground with his hands around your neck, choking you.

“How dare you!”

His eyes were a harsh shade of scarlet, not the usual soft red you’d see when he let adoration get the better of him. No, now it was the color of blood red rage.

“You know nothing about my clan, HOW FUCKING DARE YOU!”

You choked out an apology, tears pooling down your cheeks as you clawed at his hands, trying to take in air and failing.

Kurapika wasn’t present, he was so overtaken by rage he didn’t even realize what he was doing. It wasn’t until you stopped struggling that he snapped out of it, his eyes going wide with terror.

“N-no…”

He let go, and you immediately took in a shaky breath, your eyes hazy from the lack of oxygen. Kurapika’s hands trembled in fear and shame, tears forming in the corner of his eyes as he noticed the bruises forming on your neck.

Shaped like his hands.

“My angel… oh, my love…” he choked out, gathering your weak body in his arms. “I’m so sorry, fuck…”

He rocked you back and forth, sobbing into your hair. Kurapika knew, he KNEW that you hadn’t meant what you said, and yet he still attacked you.

‘I’m such a hypocrite…’ he thought, his grip tightening around you. ‘I took her to protect her… yet I’m the one hurting her…’

Kurapika wouldn’t let go of you the entire night, as if he was terrified he’d lose you. He was so scared, he had lost every important person in his life, and now he had almost killed you, the person he loved with his entire soul, his entire being.

You were so fragile, your life so easy to snuff out with just a little pressure to your throat. He knew that, he understood just how much weaker you were than him. And yet he still put his hands on you, nearly taking away your life.

It was enough to make him more unstable than usual. Kurapika clung to you desperately for the next week, carefully tending to your bruises and being much more lenient with your little requests. He spoiled and pampered you even more than he usually did, and you slept with him every single night.

You never tried that method again… you never wanted to make Kurapika that angry, it was the worst experience you ever had with him. Even if it meant staying captive, you would much rather see the soft side of Kurapika than the one full of rage and violence.

And Kurapika was more than willing to stay the gentle, sweet man you wanted. He adored you after all… and he would never hurt you again.

He couldn’t take the knowledge that his own two hands caused you pain and fear… so he made sure to control his anger better… and you never mentioned his clan again.

DUHH!! omg ive never really done that many jealousy hc's i hope they keep coming! thank you for the request babes <333 forgive me for not writing in so so long. these are pretty short and sweet!

-so i think killua's jealously is not really the easiest to spot at first, nor does it happen often. You really have to be someone he cares about a lot to notice his jealousy.

-when he does start to feel jealous though.. oh god does it slowly start to eat him up inside! definitely you'll notice a shift in how protective he will become.

-if he notices a random person checking you out, his previous thoughts will immediately be replaced with the fact that someone is looking at you like that.

-killua won't think twice about shooting a cold-blooded, assassin glare at that person, especially because you literally have a boyfriend!! expect a quick arm to be put around you in that instance!!

-i do believe that when killua is alone with his thoughts, there are rare moments when he will let that jealousy get to his head. he might ponder if he even is good enough for you.

-when he gets this way, he becomes more quiet, and his disposition becomes a lot more serious. its definitely recommended to try and talk to him early on to break killua out of these thoughts. while he's not the most expressive, your time and reassurance is really all he needs for him to feel better.

Kurapika and his culture, thoughts and HCs

A/N: This is less of an x reader and more of Kurta tradition HCs! Also, these are all made up and not inspired by anything specific, so any likeliness to actual cultural practices is not intended. The only tradition that is inspired by real culture is the last one, which is inspired by Dia De Los Muertos(which is obvious but I wanted to give credit where credit is due!!)

Thoughts

Absolutely! As the only Kurta left alive, he’s the only one that can keep his culture and traditions alive. It’s one of the reasons he wants children so badly, he wants to have his clan again!

I think Kurapika isn’t the type to force you to learn or expect you to participate in his culture, after all it’s not your own, but he’d very much appreciate it if you did. You’re his everything, all he has left in this world and the future mother of his children, and he’d be over the moon if you wore the traditional tabards on special holidays and practiced the traditional dance that the Kurta people would preform on their wedding nights.

He also won’t be overbearing with having his kids participate, but will be filled with joy when the little ones ask why daddy is wearing something different and praying on certain days.

Kurapika will bully his friends into celebrating with him, though. Gon and Killua have their own Kurta tabards that they have to wear when then come over during holidays. And no, Gon’s isn’t green. You’ll see why later on in this post.

HCs

-I think the Kurtas had many different traditions, which I will list here.

-One tradition I already mentioned, which is the bride and groom performing a specific dance on their wedding day. It’s a sign of devotion and love that lasts a lifetime, so it’s one of the only things Kurapika really wants you to do.

-Another is celebrating the coming of fall and harvests, alone with spring, summer, and winter. Each season has a different celebration and traditions, like dancing in the snow and leaving your favorite preserved fruit in the windowsill as an offering.

-You give that fruit during winter, a time where the fields are barren so when the fruit is ripe again, the gods give back tenfold.

-In spring, there are always flowers decorating doorframes, most families represented by a specific flower(marigolds for Kurapika’s family!), which is said to strengthen the spirits of each household.

-During summer, the children all made little dolls out of straw(or clay if their family works with it) and fill them with sweets, then leave them in the forest. This is an offering to the forest spirits so they can continue to coexists among each other. The Kurta people have a lot of respect for nature, always giving back what they take.

-The most important tradition takes place during late fall, right before winter. It’s a day to remember your loved ones who have passed, and obviously this holiday is especially rough for Kurapika. Before the massacre, it was a day that was spent celebrating the lives that once were, but now it is full of grief. He wears all green. Brown and earthy tones are used for grieving too, like for widows that are in states of mourning, but green is reserved for funerals. The earthy times symbolize the deceased giving their bodies back to the earth, and the inevitably of returning to dust.

-Because their scarlet eyes are treasured in the clan and green is opposite to red, green is seen as a color of morning. Fun fact, the first time Kurapika saw Gon, he assumed he was in a deep state of mourning because he was wearing an entirely green outfit. Of course he soon learned that the Kurta way of mourning was different than the rest of the world, but that didn’t stop him from being more gentle with Gon for a while.

-Kurapika prefers to pray alone when he’s in mourning. He gets choked up and cries sometimes, and needs time to collect himself and process the tremendous loss he feels.

Nobunaga never admits his longing for you after work. Today was tiring. Nobunaga was used to killing, but today wore him out. All he wanted to do was lay in bed, and fall asleep under you.

When Nobunaga entered your shared apartment you were no where to be found. Nobunaga slugged and carrier himself into every room, and couldn’t find you anywhere. He took his phone out of his pocket getting ready to dial your number until he heard keys jingling, and the sound of the front door opening.

Nobunaga guessed it was you and made his way towards the bedroom. You unknowingly didn’t know Nobunaga was there you sit your keys down on the table in the living and turn on the Tv.

Nobunaga took off his clothes, and was in nothing, but his underwear and climbed into bed. He stared at the ceiling for a little while before closing his eyes. After a couple moments he opens them back up, and comes to the conclusion that he needs you to sleep.

He walks into the living room and takes the remote out of your hand and turns the Tv off.

“Whatcha doin’ Nobu? I was watching that-.”

Nobunaga walks off and before he disappears in the room he turns to look at you. Almost like he signaling you to come with him.

You get up and follow him into the bedroom and see him laying in the bed with blankets already covering his body. You close the door behind you and sit in the chair beside the bed not wanting to go to sleep just yet.

“Get in bed already.” He rolls his eyes and looks at you.

You giggle and sigh while you hop in bed with him.

“Happy now-?”

“Hold me?” Before you could respond Nobunaga takes your arms and wraps them around himself. After a while you get sleepy and eventually fall into slumber. Nobunaga waited until you were asleep to finally fall asleep. He would never probably admit it, but he adored your warmth, and touch. Though that was already known by his actions.
