here’s my controversial opinion:

not every phineas and ferb episode should have a song.

When each episode needs to have a song, at least 50% of the time the songs end up rushed and forgettable.

The best phineas and ferb songs are character-driven, but more often than not the “song of the day” is just describing the invention which! Sometimes it’s great! Football X7 is a BOP!!!! But other times these songs just make me groan and yearn for songs we could’ve had instead.

FOR EXAMPLE:

We could’ve had a duet between Monty and Vanessa, instead we got a run of the mill song about the boat and aurora borealis. We could’ve had a proper song about the plant fight full of puns about plants and books and combat, instead we got a run of the mill song about reading. We could’ve had a song about Doofenhmirtz searching for Perry in the vet’s office and encountering different pets along the way, and he’s both wanting to get Perry but deep down worried about him and wanting to check on him, instead we got a song describing the pet spa. like!! DO YALL SEE WHAT IM SAYING.

My favorite songs of the season have been character driven!! License to Bust! The candace suit song Buford sings! The candace/doof therapy duet!! bc they are CHARACTER DRIVEN.

I’m not trying to be mean I’m not trying to be jaded but. as a songwriter. who’s written phineas and ferb parodies. if I was working on phineas and ferb. I’d want to write songs that are more interesting😵‍💫. I just wonder if Disney isn’t giving them enough time to write their songs and really make them good.

Like I said BuckTommy season 8 power couple but it would be great if Eddie has his feelings realization towards the beginning of the season and the midseason finale is him telling Buck and Buck just pauses. Looks at Eddie with tears in his big blue eyes and says “Eddie. It’s too late.” Because Buck is so so close to being in love with Tommy and he wants that to happen and moving on from Eddie was the hardest thing he’s ever had to do and he had to come back from the dead once. Eddie can’t just throw himself down as an obstacle right as Buck is about to cross the finish line and finally have a relationship that will last. It’s not fair to Buck. It’s not fair to Eddie. And we get left of that gut punch of a scene until the back half of season 8.

i’ve gotten greek food a couple times recently and keep thinking about feta fries and realized yesterday i completely have the capacity to make those myself so yesterday & this morning baked some frozen diced potatoes with olive oil thyme rosemary garlic oregano & a little lemon juice and then threw a bunch of feta & parm on top plus this spicy dill sauce i got at target that im obsessed with. hard recommend

I've never read a Wally West Flash comic (just haven't had the time) BUT I've been reading Absolute Flash and I've been able to understand 99% of what's going on pretty well :3

I assume that certain things would have more Impact if previous Wally comics have been read, but to me at least, it doesn't seem necessary

Aaa thank you!!!!! That’s exactly the reassurance I needed. Genuinely the thing that pushed me into the deep end of the fandom was a fan art of Wally in his absolute flash costume so it’s been on the top of my list for ages to read.

I GOT ZAYNE’S MISTY INVASION CARD AHHH 😏😏 I rigged it by going for Sylus (whom I still really freaking wanted that’s why I chose him first) and then “lost” the 50/50 to my freaky lil snowman.
