LORE DROP: Mona Lisa is a teenage girl turned mutant! Her backstory is pretty similar to 1987. Captain Flinch invaded Mona Lisa and her family’s cruise ship, along with some colleagues, and held them hostage. The people on the cruise were experienced with engineering and science, and because of this Captain Flinch held them hostage so they had to help him with his plan (idk what it is but just a plan). Fortunately, Mona Lisa found a way to escape and help herself, her family, and the colleagues escape. However, during the escape Mona Lisa got mutated into a Lizard + Human mutant. This was all a year before the Superfly event and the movie as a whole. So after the events of the movie, and in TOTTMNT, the turtles somehow got on the same ship that Captain Flinch was going to invade. Mona Lisa needs to get onto the ship to stop Captain Flinch, and then the rest really just the OG episode but TOTMNT writing plus funny banter from Mona and Raph.
