She was considered to be too pretty for comedy... only to become the Queen! 👑 ❤️

Have you ever heard about my wife? Oh, yes, yes. Uh, her name is Lucy, is that it? That’s right, yeah. Yes, yes, I heard all those publicity stories about her. Yeah, well, I got news for you. Those were not publicity stories. You mean they were true? Yes. Well, she must…she must, she must be quite a character. Well, she’s, uh more than just a character.

With many requests from my mum and generally from people liking how I design caricatures, Here's a tiny Lucille Ball as a sticker! I don't see a lot of cute, adorable art of old Hollywood shows I enjoy so I figured I'd just do it myself.
Get your "I Love Lucy" Sticker here!
Yes, I will be making more, Yes I will include Ricky, Yes I will include the rest of the gang. :)

From I Love Lucy S6E13 - Lucy and Superman (1957).
One of the reasons I love this I Love Lucy episode is because at no point Superman is called "the actor who plays Superman" or "George Reeves", which means he is actually Superman in the universe of Lucy, which means I Love Lucy is part of the DC multiverse.

As an Australian a lot of US culture and pop culture passes me by, so I had no idea what See's Candies was when I first saw the Barbie tie-in.
Naturally, though, I thought that this must be something significant that passed me by. Just a run of the mill candy story would not have warranted such a doll.
And definitely would not have warranted more than one.
I love this doll so much. I love her little face veil. I just can't believe that she's a tie-in product for a brand I've never heard of even though she extremely rules.
Released in 1999 and 2001 respectively, these Barbies pay homage to the "Quality Without Compromise" candy company. And stranger still... if we take it as canon that the box text represents the Barbie lore, this is Barbie's first job.
According to the back of the box, Barbie's first job, back before she was a fashion model, a nurse, an astronaut, a game designer, a movie star or a farmer... she was a See's Candy Salesperson.
A fun fact that I learned while researching this, by the way, is that See's Candy is also where Lucille Ball learned how to dip chocolates in preparation for the I Love Lucy episode where Lucy gets a job as a candy store employee to stick it to Ricky.
Also available in Barbie form.
I don't know if this is remotely worth seeking out but a part of me is deeply curious now.
