The home invasion in s3 is baffling to me honestly bc all season Tory is SO careful about her probation, she goes as far as to warn Robby about potentially breaking his, and it's implied she basically scouted the zoo out beforehand to make sure they wouldn't get in trouble for that. One of the reasons she left Cobra Kai was because she wanted to stay out of trouble. And surprisingly Tory is actually one of the cobras that gets into the least amount of fights if you look back??? Like yeah she started the school fight, but that was supposed to stay between her and Sam (and it didn't), but outside of that she doesn't participate in raiding Miyagi-do, she isn't there for the mall fight, and she only joins in the arcade fight because she was given the impression that her teammates were being ambushed by their enemies.
So she goes from actively avoiding fights (for the most part) and being careful about her probation to escalating to a full on home invasion in just one episode??? And it just feels so??? It's SUCH a jump besties. And damn they even double down on her caution in that scene in s5 where she won't let Robby break into the dojo, so you can't tell me she doesn't care about it when she was careful about even the tiniest thing like using her access card.
#like yeah I write Tory doing stupid shit too even when she was still on probation but god that was such a leap#the only time she does things is when she thinks she can reasonably get away with it like at the zoo#but a home invasion would guarantee her getting arrested?? and it's a miracle the larussos didn't press charges on anyone????#it felt like the writers had her do it just because they *needed* her to do it and not because it actually made any sense for her#I can justify the school fight with headcanons and stuff (as in see her reasoning not make it right bc she was Wrong and Stupid. Period.)#but the house fight is so hard to reason out with Tory's mindset and what little characterization they gave us to that point#I know there's the implication that kreese wound her up on purpose to go raise hell but we only get ONE scene of that. I need more.#and this once again validates my feelings that the writers saw her as a plot device first and foremost#and didn't really care to start treating her as her own character until season 4#god I am just thinking so many thoughts today#⚡ ooc. ── ❝ 𝘖𝘩 𝘯𝘰 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪. ❞

random armin/mikasa/jean headcanons (college au)
↯ pairing: armin x (fem) reader, mikasa x (fem) reader, jean x (fem) reader
↯ genres and warnings: college au, fluff, lets see how many times i can mention eren in writing that has absolutely nothing to do with him
↯ notes: this.... probably won’t be a regular thing, i don’t know that i can consistently continue writing for them, but this sure was fun and reminded me that i actually have feelings for someone other than levi :// didn’t ask for that, but here we are

ARMIN ARLERT
Would most likely get pretty good grades, but he can definitely be lazy about it and hear me out.
If it’s a class that he likes and is genuinely interested in (which is the majority of them), he’s going to put in the work—sometimes too much work—to make sure he’s doing well. He usually studies very meticulously, and stays on top of his game throughout the semester.
But if it’s one of those bs classes the university makes you take, or some kind of stupid elective that was the only course that could fit into his schedule? Well, Armin is smart enough to bullshit his way through anything, so he’s not going to exert himself for a class he doesn’t even care about.
Oh, and he’s very vocal about complaining to you about said bullshit courses. (Completely justified, go off king).
“I swear sometimes the TA just lowers marks randomly to ‘keep the class average.’ Granted, I didn’t really study for the quiz, so I wasn’t expecting a stellar grade or anything, but I know they do that sometimes.” “Well, babe, why didn’t you study.” “Because I hate it, (Y/N).”
Like I said, takes school seriously and tries his best; but even he knows he doesn’t have to be at 100% all the time. It’s also kind of a flex how smart he is and how much he can get by on doing the absolute bare minimum.
Poor Connie is studying his ass off for their shared elective and Armin barely looked at the first page of the textbook, and he’ll probably get a 90 anyways.
Imagine he’s so caught up with his other classes, he actually forgets about a midterm for his stupid elective, and at first he’s freaking out, so you kind of have to remind him of who tf he is. You finally get him to relax and he blinks at you, “Oh right, I didn’t study because I didn’t have to haha nice.”
Helps you prepare for presentations by letting you practice them in front of him. Actually gives good feedback, but sometimes he’s just watching you and not really listening.
Sometimes, you have to be the one to remind him to take a step back and take care of himself, before his schoolwork. He doesn’t like to worry you, and likely feels guilty when he sees you walking up to him in the library at 2am; so he won’t fight you on it, and just lets you help him pack up all his stuff and head home for the day.
Likes head massages. Maybe sometimes has faked a little bit of a headache to get you to massage his head and play with his hair. He’ll never tell.
If you rub his cheek while he’s laying on top of you, he will knock out like a baby. Almost immediately. It’s a surefire way to get him to go to sleep.
Schedules dates with you, and plans them out meticulously. Sometimes gets playful and sends you a whole ass e-vite.
“Armin, why do I have an email invitation for our date to the library?” “So that you don’t forget, of course.” “How could I forget, it’s later today, and you’re literally helping me study for my midterm.” “With popcorn!”
Probably the type to get a job on campus. You and your friends come to visit him when he’s on shift and annoy him. He secretly likes it.
Oh, he’s kind of shady. Scratch that, can be very shady. He complains about school to you, but also just complains to you in general; he doesn’t outwardly do that a lot, but you’re his confidant.
Sometimes you get surprised and call him out on it and you’re like “Oh my god, Armin, the poor girl didn’t mean to mess up the project,” and he’s like “Well. Sometimes people are idiots and it has to be said.”
Has a bad habit of rolling his eyes and he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it. “Did you just roll your eyes at me.” “I don’t know, did I?” Bye.
His hands are always covered in some kind of ink/markings. Accidental brushes of his pens, streaks from his highlighters or markers, a little bit of lead from his pencil along the side of his palm.
Speaking of which, he strikes me as the kind of guy to keep a bullet journal. Not necessarily decked out and fancy with Polaroids and extravagant fonts; but definitely neat, and decorated to some extent, depending on how he’s feeling. It makes him feel organized.
He would pencil in important dates and markers of your relationship into said journal. “Friday night: museum date—remember to buy the tickets in advance.”
If anyone is going to buy, wash, peel, and cut up fruit for you, it’s going to be Armin.
Lowkey tutoring all of his friends, and might be the sole reason that Connie hasn’t dropped out yet. He likes tutoring you the most, though.
Get this, sometimes he asks you to tutor him, even if he knows damn well he doesn’t need it. Maybe he’ll even sign up for a stupid elective if it’s a class you’ve taken before, just to have an excuse to get you to teach him something.
Likes trying new things with you. He might not always like the new things that you try, but he’s open to trying them at least once. Well… most things anyways. Just don’t ask him to get up at dawn and go jogging with you.
I genuinely cannot tell if he would be a morning person or not. Maybe mid-morning. Probably not a rise-and-shine at 6am kind of guy, but is up by at least 10:00am every day. Very cute when he’s groggy though, and stumbles around a bit like a baby deer when he first gets up, especially if he’s hungry.
He likes to bike. And really likes when you go on bike rides with him. As long as you both are on your own bikes, you learned the hard way that tandem biking isn’t cut out for you.
Knows that all-nighters aren’t good for you, but sometimes you have to pull them anyways. If you both have a lot to get done, he’ll stay up with you and make sure you both take breaks and drink water.
Can twirl his pens in that really fast and fancy way, and can do the thing where he rolls it between all his fingers too. I’ll let you think bout the implications of that for yourself.
He likes watching cartoons, and reels you into all his favorites. Definitely likes to stay in on weekends watching cartoons with you and just chilling.
Will go to a party with you if you ask, or if his friends are hosting, but nothing beyond that. You didn’t hear this from me, but he’d probably like to smoke more than drink.
Sometimes you think he needs a break and you commission Eren to take him out for the night, but Armin still comes back looking more composed than him. A little sleepy and maybe a bit out of it, but not sloshed, much to your disappointment. “Eren, you really couldn’t have tried to be more a bad influence?? I was counting on you!!”
Eren’s confused, like, “Did you want me to get him white boy wasted??” “Yeah, kinda!! It’s what he deserves every once in a while. Ugh, next time I’m calling in Sasha, she knows how to drink.”
By the way, if you’re dating Armin, you’re kind of dating (or at least babysitting) Eren too. Or vice versa. Either way, they will also go on dates without you. (“Hanging out. We’re hanging out, and I’m tutoring him so he doesn’t fail Biology, (Y/N).” “Likely story, ocean eyes.”)
Can be touchy in a very absentminded way. He’ll reach out to play with your ears/earrings, habitually rub at your shoulders if you’re standing in front of him, mindlessly toy with the ends of your clothing. Half the time he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it, he’s so cute.
Plays one sport—is on the soccer team. It keeps him busy, and forces him to focus on something that isn’t academics once in a while. He’s pretty good at it, too; he and Eren make a good team when they play together.
You and Eren tried to get him to join the baseball team too. Eren, because he likes playing with Armin. You, because, well… the uniforms. He would look so good in the uniform.
MIKASA ACKERMAN
Makes her classes look like a breeze, even though it’s at least 300 pages of reading and writing per week.
Kind of gives me Elle Woods “What, like it’s hard?” kind of vibes when it comes to schoolwork. You’re in awe of how she just did 75 pages of reading with a tiny ass font in one sitting, and she just blinks at you like “Was it supposed to be difficult?”
Speaking of which, she likes to read in general; for leisure, outside of her school work. She’ll recommend you books, too. If you don’t like to read, she’ll still try and rope you in with shorter stories, or just read them aloud to you herself.
Sits at a table across from you while you both do your schoolwork independently. It doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a quiet, almost implicit sense of intimacy that she really likes.
Bundles you up when it’s cold, and won’t take no for an answer. You will wear a hat, whether you like it or not.
Always prepared—and by that I mean, she carries things on her that she realizes you might need. Tissues, extra pens, an extra pair of mittens. She strikes me as the kind of person to pay attention to details like those.
Likes to walk you to class, even if her class is very far away from your building. She doesn’t mind.
On that note, she knows your schedule pretty well, where it pertains to classes and personal interests.
If you’re the type of person who can slack off or even just get caught up in other things when it comes to school work, she’ll be there to keep you on track and hold you accountable. Usually through setting aside times to study with you, but can even be through small things like asking you how your assignment is going.
(Nevermind that you completely forgot about the assignment, and hadn’t even started it—but that’s the point; she knew that).
Hear me out: holding pinkies. Maybe not when you’re walking, but when you’re seated next to each other. The longer you’re together, the more likely she is to initiate it, too.
Would rather study at home/in her apartment than in the library, but if you like to study there, she can compromise a few days out of the week.
Makes you playlists, and they’re usually really good, because she knows you so well. Sometimes she gets cute and customizes the cover art to a picture of the both of you.
She’s your ride or die, so if you complain to her about a prof you don’t like or a TA you don’t think is fair she’s 100% on your side. She might not always be able to do anything about it, but she’ll definitely let you complain to her.
Texts you throughout the day to check up on you, but usually disguised through other questions. Asks what you want/had for lunch when she’s really checking to make sure you ate. Asks you what time your lectures end, just to make sure you didn’t skip it (again). Asks you what time you’re going to be done studying to make sure you don’t stay up all night cramming again.
Takes a genuine interest in your courses, and absolutely loves to listen to you talk about them.
If your classes are vastly different, she’ll still try and help you however she can, even if it’s only in small ways, like proofreading something for you.
Doesn’t use emojis alot, so your contact doesn’t have a bunch of hearts next your name on anything. But she does put your last name in as Ackerman.
Has social media, but mostly uses it to keep up with her friends, and you. You’re in most of the few pictures that she does post, and she might not say it, but she really likes it when you post photos of/with her.
Not sure why, but I think she’d be a pretty decent artist if she tried. That trend of doing glass paintings on TikTok? I think she’d be into that, and would plan out the whole thing as a date with you.
Keeps up with all your favorite shows to talk about or watch them with you. Sometimes she’ll purposely miss a few episodes so that she can spend the night and marathon them with you.
Likes to stay in and drink cheap wine and just watch or talk about whatever with you. You could watch a terrible show just to laugh and comment on it the entire time and she would be so happy.
Doesn’t like to sit down on public transportation, and honestly would rather you didn’t either, but she’s not going to stop you from taking a seat. If you’re sitting, she’ll stand in front of/over you, and always keeps wire headphones long enough for you to share music that way.
The most insufferable human when she’s sick and she knows it. She hates being sick. And she knows you shouldn’t be around her or else you might get sick but she also just wants you to hold her. (You do).
Likes to sleepover at your place. Talks with you about your day while you lay down. Always smells good. Very cuddly when sleepy. 10/10.
Hates the act of doing her laundry, but likes doing it with you. Lowkey starts buying and using the same detergent and fabric softener as you because it makes her smell like you.
Gets very embarrassed if you kiss her in public. Very red in the cheeks, it’s kind of cute, so I wouldn’t blame you if you did it on purpose.
JEAN KIRSTEIN
Jean is… quite smart, if you ask me. Or, at the very least, analytical, which can be applied to a variety of academic settings.
The only thing is, he’s incredibly lazy about it. He wants to do well in school, and can definitely pull himself together for a midterm or an exam; but is horrible at keeping pace with all his other work and assignments on a regular basis.
He also can’t sit still, which is why even though he is very kind and chivalrous and brings many snacks to your study sessions, he is also competing for number one worst study partner. Right next to Eren and Sasha.
Gets pouty when you tell him you don’t want to study with him. “But… but… but I brought snacks! And bubble tea!” “Yes, but you also have the attention span of a rabbit, Jean.”
At the end of the day he understands… that doesn’t mean he’s not going to be bitter about it LOLOL. It’s fine, you can make it up to him by hanging out with him afterwards.
Is, like, classically trained in at least two instruments because his mom put him in lessons as a child. He used to hate it growing up, and he doesn’t practice much now, so he never talks about it.
One day you happen to mention something about comparing two songs, telling him they remind you of each other but you don’t know exactly why or why, and very nonchalantly he’s like, “They sound similar because they share the same major chord in the chorus, and they’re in the same key.”
And you just kind of blink at him like, “Okay, Beethoven. How. How did you know that.”
Once you realize he can, like, actually play the piano and violin really well you’re always begging him to play for you. It doesn’t happen often—it’s not like he owns a violin anymore and he certainly doesn’t have a grand piano in his shitty college apartment—but sometimes you sneak into the music room when it’s empty and he’ll play something for you.
He’s a romantic at heart, so he doesn’t mind, and if anything kind of enjoys you watching him play. It’s much better than playing for random parents in a recital. You’re dead if you ever mention it to any of his friends though.
Also not a frat boy, but definitely likes to party. Everything with reason. If he crushed a midterm on Thursday, he deserves to throw back a few beers on Friday night, you know?
Touchy when he’s drunk. Well, touchier than normal; he’d be the most affectionate out of every one on a regular basis. But he’s touchy and messy when he’s drunk, so he’s all over you.
Messy, but happy. All smiles and giggles and red cheeks, with his arm around your shoulder, boasting you anybody who will listen about his super hot girlfriend.
He and Eren throw the best parties when they team up together. (Only slightly related, but those two, when drunk together, could probably pass as a couple; they’re so uncharacteristically happy, and affectionate. You may or may not be keeping some photo and video evidence of Eren and Jean drunk cuddling).
Sends you videos when you’re in the middle of class. And only then. He plans it to be annoying. Because he is annoying.
Also always sending you those in-messsage games while you’re in the middle of lecture or studying. “PLEASE play virtual pool with me!! I’ll even let you win one round!!” “I AM TRYING TO LEARN!!” “LEARN LATER 😡😡😡”
A fucking fiend in your Instagram comments. It’s a miracle none of them have been removed or reported for inappropriate content. Replies to OTHER people’s comments complimenting YOU!! He’s so much
@sashabraus: aww you look so cute @youruser!! that color looks so good on you 💕 @jeannotjean: omg omg tysm @sashabraus 😊 i picked it myself @youruser: SHE WAS TALKING TO ME @jeannotjean!!! ME!!! @jeannotjean: @youruser you have no proof 🙄 @youruser: SHE USED MY @!!!! GET OUT OF MY COMMENTS!!! @jeannotjean: you’re so hot when you yell at me via insta comments 🥵🥵🥵 would it be better if i slid into your dm’s instead 😫😫😉 @youruser: @jeannotjean BLOCKED!! EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!!
You try explaining your coursework to him and he’s just looking at you with puppy dog eyes like, “I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about, babe, but you look hot while doing it, so, please, continue.”
He’s another cocky annoying bastard (endearing). Always tilting you head up to look at him and smirk at you. Pisses you off just to put his arm around your shoulder and be like, “It’s okay, I know you love me anyways.” Winks at you in public just to embarrass you. He’s the worst. The worst.
King of picking you up and throwing you over his shoulder for absolutely no reason at all.
He lowkey wants to get an ear piercing and uses you to talk him into it. “Don’t you think I’d look hot with a piercing? I think I would.” “You would look good regardless, Jean. So, do it if you want to.” “Right. But, like.... do you think I would look hot.”
For as annoying and cocky as he can be, the second you actually genuinely tell him you think he’s attractive or talented or whatever, he gets kind of shy. It’s very cute.
Likes trying new restaurants with you, even though he really should stop spending all his money on food. Sometimes trying new restaurants means ordering from a new place, but it’s whatever, you know.
Honestly… the two of you would probably have a ridiculously high Uber Eats bill. You really should go outside and, like, be people every once in a while LOLOL
Okay, but it’s mostly Jean’s fault. For as much as he likes to party, and doesn’t mind hosting a party, he doesn’t do much beyond that. He hangs out with his/your friends, and with you, obviously, but he’s not the kind of guy to have his weekend booked up all the time.
He would much rather stay in with you, and talk trash about his stupid group project partners, and lay on your stomach and try to teach you how to play his favorite video games.
Spoiler: he fucking lies and/or leaves out key parts of the gameplay!! Just so he can crush you and laugh about it!! Annoying, but you’re the one keeping him around, so, who can you really blame but yourself.

most people that don’t like kie don’t like her because she
1. gets mad at JJ when he calls her out for being rich
2. prioritizes john b constantly because whatever feelings she has towards him gave her tunnel vision
3. tried to guilt-trip pope into missing his scholarship interview despite the fact that, like he said, she wasn’t there for any of them when big john went missing
4. talks about the gold, pope’s scholarship, and things that happen to the boys because of them living in the cut as if it’s okay to just toss them aside when it’s only okay to do that for her- seeing as she doesn’t need the money, and she doesn’t need a scholarship. the only thing that makes her a pogue is that she decided to hang out with them, which is fine but she can’t act like she goes through what people on the cut do seeing as she doesn’t actually live there or go to their school. these things are only expendable for her.
5. she tried to fight pope on the boat because he rightfully called her out on her “moral high ground bullshit”
6. she gives off performative activist. she’ll talk about saving the turtles but when jj is clearly hysterical or something with his buying a hot tub using his share, she says he could have “literally given it to any charity” as if he isn’t quite literally the charity… even without seeing the bruises it’s clear that jj is in an unstable environment with someone who doesn’t care about him and can’t support him financially.
7.she doesn’t sympathize with jj until after the jj/pope/kie hot tub group hug when she sees his bruises. she just ignores whatever he says when he mentions her financial privilege and insults him in a non-friendly way. (he insults her too obviously, but since the show never goes in depth to discuss kie’s struggles as a biracial girl or pope’s struggles as a black boy, it’s not something that jj can randomly sympathize with, seeing as it’s never brought to light. if it was brought up and jj were to react like she’s being annoying for pointing it out or pointing it out to spite him, i would have major problems with jj because acknowledging whatever privilege you have is important, especially when you’re with people that don’t have that privilege/when you’re someone whose character is supposed to be the activist type. and i’m not equating racial privilege to financial privilege, i’m just mentioning it because classism is pretty much the basis of the entire show and its plot.)
anyway… this is the reason i’ve seen most jjpopes dislike kie. mentioning the “kiara sucks” anon as if that is a blanket statement of all jjpopes is strange. we aren’t some raging misogynists out to get her, but you saying that pope is a very flawed character with no examples to back it up but also getting irritated when someone says kiara sucks with no examples to back it up is ridiculous. these are examples. since this is in response to your response to that ask, i’ll also add that while your experiences as a queer person are valid, they aren’t universal (“Any queer person knows that you can’t be as forthcoming and open about our affections as straight people are.”)
i get where you’re coming from with saying a regular character might not be outward about his feelings, but jj is not a regular character. jj is a nothing-to-lose kind of character, so your reasoning for why those many displays of affection throughout the show weren’t intended to be romantic just doesn’t really add up? of course he values pope’s friendship and wouldn’t want to risk it, but it’s also evident that he’s a very good liar and could easily say he was joking or wasn’t trying to seem like any of his actions were romantic, something you can also probably understand/have experienced as a queer person. your very statement that jj is someone who flirts with anyone is counterproductive to the statement that that means he doesn’t have feelings for pope. he flirts with every girl, but he can only form a lasting bond while also doing things you’d normally do with a crush, with pope. a lot of jjpopes including myself think he’s gay, and comphet/trying to prove to yourself that you’re straight by engaging in meaningless hookups (like jj) is reason for that headcanon. i get what you’re saying for other characters, but there’s no indication of jj not having that same nothing-to-lose attitude when it comes to people he has romantic feelings for, so there would be no reason for the pull-back or hesitation that you mentioned. and since he knows pope and his connection (whether it be platonic or romantic to both of them) is so strong, he probably assumes nothing could break that bond/dynamic either way.
also no one called you anti-black or implied that you were for saying pope is a flawed character, but it would be surprising to see one that isn’t rooted in that because all of them in the past have been- this fandom is wildly colorist and homophobic (another reason representation like jjpope is so important) and it’s extremely hard to find someone that doesn’t like pope without an explanation for their dislike that isn’t rooted in racism. that’s just common sense, though.
You know, I've been looking at this ask for a long time just wondering if it's worth my time to address all of this - like I didn't realise one could send asks this big. But I'm bored and got a beer in me so fuck it let's go.
So first let's talk about the reasons you hate Kie. I'm gonna admit that I to think she is flawed, like every other obx character, she is also a victim to bad writing and under developed. But also I just do not understand how people can hate her or insists that she is a bad person, don't get me wrong sometimes you just don't vibe with a character and there is nothing wrong with that but hating them and tearing them down is a very different thing.
Now I've said this before but let me reiterate. Not liking a character or ship or preferring one over the other does not automatically make you racist, misogynistic or homophobic. But I do think it is important to take a step back and assess our motivation and perhaps internalised biases. Sometimes you will find that you reasoning is without much substance and realise that you have some things to work on, sometimes even though mentally you don't have the conscious block there is something internalised about that - I know I have been subject to that. This doesn't make you a bad person, and you don't have to force yourself to like it or anything, but just be aware and sometimes it's okay to just remove yourself for the conversation because the people who do like it aren't supporting something that is morally corrupt and it doesn't have to be the subject of discourse. People can like different stuff.
So:
1. Did you mean pulls faces when JJ calls her rich? Cause that's what she does, gets a little annoyed, pulls a face but doesn't say anything because she know he's got a point. I'm very confused about you definition of angry and perhaps be careful about perpetuating the 'angry black woman' stereotype.
Also, I think it's important to note that clearly the kooks vs pogues divide has pretty much abolished the middle class, and you are either lower class or 'rich'. The Carrera's very clearly still struggle with money and are not on the same level of kooks as the Cameron's. So yeah, I think she's justified to roll her eyes at JJ saying she's rich as fuck and doesn't need money.
2. Prioritizes John B because his dad's gone missing, he's been abandoned by his guardian, is being threatened with being taken away from his home and everything he knows and is in general spiralling? Yeah. What a fucking monster. Also, I find it hard to find a justification for Kie having canon romantic feelings from John B that isn't just born from heteronormativity - her caring about him and then getting kissed by him does not equal a love match.
3. It wasn't about missing the interview - which wasn't until the next fucking day - it was about not giving up looking for their friend who was in a really bad way. Like - you cannot say that getting a scholarship when you are 16 is more important that John B's actual life being at stake ?
The fact that she wasn't there when John B went missing wasn't relevant? Like I've talked about why I hate Pope in this scene. But like, Pope is saying 'um you can't call me out on being a bad friend now cause you were a bad friend then'. That's the point, Kie caring so much about John B is rooted in guilt cause she wasn't there, and now she's trying to be there and support him, to prove that she's a better friend now. That's she's different, because she is.
4. I would love some specific examples of her brushing this stuff off like it means nothing. Other than the boat scene which once again, justified. And once again, Kie isn't destitute at all and no she doesn't fully understand the struggles of the boys or the cut but her family is not rolling in it and spending weekends on Yachts. Like this point is such a bloody reach.
5. I don't love that she got physical with him either. But she didn't do that because she got called out. She got upset because Pope was the one person she confided in about that happened during her kook year, about how bad it was, about the fact that she was suicidal and Sarah saved her and that's why she was so drawn to that, not because she wanted to be a kook, and Pope just throws that back in her face because he's jealous that Kie cares more about John B's problems than his.
6. Well this is just a misrepresentation of what happened. She said give it to any charity because in that moment it seemed like without a reason JJ just blew that money on stupid shit. Pope thought the same thing that's why he yells at him for not using it for restitution. In that moment he just seems like he is being drunk and irresponsible, because they didn't think he would go back to Luke, Pope literally says that he wouldn't. And then note how when they see the bruises they know what happened and the tone instantly changes cause they realise what happened. And that he did try to do the right thing and got flogged because of it. And she is right in there to comfort him and reassure him. So like... yeah.
7. Please give me example for this. I don't see Kie insulting him that isn't a justified call out or playful banter that is returned and part of their push and shove dynamic. You know... just being friends.
The only times we see Kie react to JJ's home life she is concerned and sympathetic. She's the only one who's worried about JJ going home when he storms off and is instantly there to comfort him when she knows he's had interaction with Luke. I really don't know where you are getting this from.
I don't use it as a blanket statement, I know not to group shippers in as one, I know there are jiara shippers that I do not see eye to eye with for a second. The reason I bring up the 'kiara sucks' thing is because of the context it was used. We weren't talking about Kie, it wasn't relevant, it had no reason to be there or anything to back it up. It was random bitching and as you say fandom is a very racist place so yeah, it seemed like racism to me. Like you realise you are calling me ridiculous for being annoyed that someone just came to me and said Kie sucks without reason, and then this ask goes onto be annoyed that I have some issues with Pope and that more than likely racist for thinking it because you've elected to ignore my massive post outlining my stance on this.
My experiences as a queer person are not universal, no. But I do know they are very common. I'm so thankful that there are people out there who don't experience this and I hope that in the future it will be the norm. But realistically, with what we know about JJ, I think it is more than likely that would be his experience.
Look if you headcanon him as gay say the things with girls is comphet, then that's your view and I won't fight you on it. But remember that that is a headcanon. And what I have been talking about is were they intentionally setting up jjpope and are those actions indicative of romantic attraction, which if they we're they would have made a point to frame it as comp het, which they didn't, they might in the future but for now - they aren't. In terms of being a good liar, I just- like gay panic is a very strong thing. There young girls who tell everyone they don't like hugs because they actually really liked the hugs and feel like people will know that they are gay if they hug their friend, a hug. I can't see 'I'm a good liar' being enough to overcome those sorts of feelings.
The thing is while JJ has a nothing to lose attitude when it comes to his life and future the same doesn't apply to his relationships, because the Pogues are his thing to lose, his only family, the one good thing. I can't see him just saying fuck it I could risk losing Pope. So I can't agree with you there.
First of all, I was called anti-black for not liking Pope, despite the fact that I don't hate him, and just had valid reasons for thinking he is flawed, not the devil incarnate. Two, I am well aware that this fandom is racist, like all fucking fandoms, and have talked about it. And I think that fact that I don't hate Pope and laid out very clearly the reasons I don't think he's some perfect angel that does no wrong kinda shows that I'm not just random bitching because he's black. Also - I'm a fucking Kie stan. I have to deal with people hating on Kie for the same reasons they love Sarah - it's very obvious to see people motivations there.
And you are right. An interracial mlm ship would be great representation. So would an interracial ship between the hot guy that everyone loves with the black girl - because doesn't he always end up with the white self insert? But reminder that ships don't automatically have superiority because they have 'better' representation and certainly does not represent a shipper 'wokeness'. Personally I think a platonic relationship between two men that are as close and physically affectionate as JJ and Pope - especially when one is so traditionally masculine as JJ, especially if one or both of them could be queer - would be great representation for young boys struggling with toxic masculinity.
So yeah, I think your reasons for hating Kie don't have much basis in canon. I do not give if you like her or not but.. hating her and trying to prove that people shouldn't like her, that she's not good enough for JJ and coming into my ask and putting her down for no reason, still does not sit right with me.

BNHA Common Misconceptions
I’ve been seeing wayyy too much bs on my dash lately. So I thought I’d share some of my thoughts on some Controversy™
***Spoilers For The Manga***
1. “What the HPSC did to Hawks wasn’t bad”
A government organization putting a young child through rigorous training so that he can be used as a tool is bad. I don’t know why I have to spell that out
Hawks had to abandon his real name at a very young age. That’s damaging for a kid’s sense of identity. His identity as a person no longer has any separation from his work as a hero. Being a hero is all he is now. I wouldn’t be surprised if (provided Hawks’s wings are gone for good) he has an identity crisis after this arc because he can’t be “Hawks” anymore.
Hawks is based on Lionel Messi, a soccer player recruited at a young age in return for paying for his medical procedures. I’ve seen people say that Hawks chose to be a hero. One, he was a child, young children shouldn’t be making decisions like that. Two, we know based on context clues that Keigo was more than likely living in poverty, possibly with alcoholic parents, and we literally are told that the HPSC payed for his family’s living expenses. Do you really think Keigo had much of a choice here?
I’ve seen people say “it’s just like what UA is doing”. First of all, UA is called out for being irresponsible and endangering their students IN UNIVERSE. Second, Keigo was a young child, the UA kids are 15+. There’s a huge difference.
2. “Mitsuki isn’t abusive”
Honestly when it comes to her smacking Katsuki, I could excuse it as a joke done in poor taste and not hold it over her as a character.
Hitting him WASNT just discipline tho. You should never, ever, under any circumstances hit your kid. Fuck that noise.
What I really have an issue with is what she SAYS to Katsuki. Her guilt tripping him isn’t a throwaway line either. He repeats the sentiment that he is responsible for Kamino during Deku v Kacchan 2. It’s one of the main reasons he fights Deku.
Horikoshi says that Katsuki has a good relationship with his mother. In that case, he did a horrible job at presenting that. What is written in the canon is what should be used as the basis for how we interpret her character.
3. “Shigaraki chose to kill his family/was born evil”
No...just...no. He was FIVE for crying out loud.
He wanted to be a hero, and took extra care to play with kids that had no friends. He definitely wasn’t born evil lmao.
His quirk manifested while he was having an emotional crisis. Decay is controlled by emotion so of course it went haywire.
He didn’t even know it was him doing it at first.
“But Shigaraki said he WANTED it to happen” Shigaraki is an unreliable narrator. What we actually SEE tells a very different story. He reaches out to Hana and his Mother for help. His grandparents are just caught in the shockwave. The ONLY person he killed on purpose was his father.
Now when it comes to his father, he had just beat him and locked him outside. He’s FIVE, and he has no healthy outlet for his anger and frustration. Hell, we see that in his “itchiness”, he only feels like this in the house, because his father makes him suppress his love for heroes and his dream to become one. He takes joy in killing his father because it’s the only release he’s ever experienced.
The fact that you guys forget that this is an abused child with no real control over his quirk that just got beaten and locked outside... Nope, no reading comprehension here.
4. “The League of Villains are justified/are a revolutionary group”
...Shigaraki has stated over and over again that he just wants to destroy everything. He doesn’t care about reform or improving anything. That one panel in Ch. 222, where he says he wants to destroy everything I think sums it up perfectly.

He wants to destroy EVERYTHING good or bad or neither or both. There’s a newborn baby, a field of flowers , Nine, various heroes, the UA kids, etc all varying in innocence.
The rest of the league have very different goals and reasons why they continue to support Shigaraki. Twice wants to protect the only people that accepted him. Spinner just wants to have purpose for his life. Toga wants to live the way she wishes with no consequences. Compress is also here.
The only “revolutionary” is Dabi. But his views are not universal throughout the league.
Even if they were trying to improve things. They have killed countless innocent people, they’ve tried to kill the UA kids too. That’s not ok. And it’s not erased by the fact that they’ve done good. (I do appreciate them for killing the MHA version of the KKK, truly epic of you)
5. “Hawks is abusive”
It’s not abuse to manipulate someone for info when you’re a double agent. It’s kinda shitty, and you could argue that it was unnecessary for Hawks to do so in context. But it’s not abuse.
Y’all need to stop using the word abuse/abusive tendencies to describe all immoral actions
I’ve also seen people say that Hawks has abusive tendencies (as in he’s abusive in all his relationships with other characters) and...do I really need to explain why that makes no sense at all?
6. “Twice deserved to die/it was necessary to kill him”
Feel like I need to remind people that we’ve only ever actually seen Twice kill one guy and that was one of the KKK guys.
Twice isn’t evil, even Hawks admits that he is a genuinely good person. Good people don’t deserve to die.
It wasn’t necessary, and here’s why: Hawks could’ve just knocked him out or even just severely injured him. (Or the HPSC could’ve just grown a brain cell and sent more people to back him up, making it easier to hold back his quirk and arrest him)
Hawks shouldn’t have killed Twice, he only killed him because he’s been raised as a child soldier and I wouldn’t be surprised if what he told Twice about taking out villains was a direct quote from the HPSC

Also, Hawks would’ve killed Twice with or without Dabi’s intervention
Something I do have to say though is that Hawks was right not to just let Twice go. It’s tragic because Twice WAS leaving to help his friends, but the other side of that tragedy it that his friends are terrorists. If he was allowed to leave a shit ton of people would have died (again that doesn’t mean he deserved to die either, don’t get it twisted)
The WHOLE POINT of Hawks v Twice is to make you question who the bad guy is. Both characters are morally gray and the only reason they even have to fight is because of the outside forces controlling their fates. It’s supposed to be tragic it’s supposed to be unclear who is in the right, so stop arguing about it.
7. “Bakugou is abusive/irredeemable” (I know it’s been talked to death but I still see it everywhere)
People are, in fact, allowed to grow past the person they were in middle school.
Most people get hung up on the “throw yourself off a building” line. Which is fair, but again, he was in middle school.
People also say “he hasn’t apologized yet”. Yeah? And? The story isn’t over yet. Horikoshi has already acknowledged that too. I don’t know what you want? People who like him know that his arc isn’t over yet.
I’ve seen a lot of people denying his character development. In the beginning of the series he was a bully and let his ego control him. I don’t think he’s bullied...anyone since Deku v Kacchan 2. He insults people but they obviously don’t take it seriously.
He’s also gone from preferring to fail a final exam to avoid working with Deku, to following him into battle against Shigaraki.
Also, when he actually likes and respects someone he doesn’t mistreat them. This is the same thing with Hawks where y’all NEED to stop misusing the word abuse. He was an abusive friend to Deku when they were kids, that’s it.
8. “Rei was abusive too!”
I’m BEGGING YOU to learn what the term “abuse” means istg
She had a psychotic break. She genuinely thought it was her abusive husband coming through the door, and she acted out of fear.
“Well that’s not an excuse” yes it fucking is. Not to mention that as soon as she realized what happened, she sobs hysterically because she hurt Shouto and tries to use her quirk to help him.
I genuinely don’t understand why people think this
9. “Dabi actually does care about the league”
Listen, I know it sounds harsh, but y’all need to get your heads out of your piles of headcanons.
We know next to nothing about how Dabi feels about just about anything. But we do see that he’s aloof and distant with the league, he doesn’t put in more than he needs to. The rest of the league think of each other as family. Dabi straight up says he doesn’t give a shit about them.
“What if he was just putting up a front for Hawks” Why? Why would he do that? When asked who he was he answered him. He tells him how he feels about hero society and Stain. Not to mention that he was getting ready to kill him. If he was hiding his true feelings about the league I doubt he would’ve so easily said that he didn’t care about them but rather how useful they were.
At this point it’s just wishful thinking. Based on everything we’ve seen in the series so far and everything we know about Dabi, I think it’s safe to say that he doesn’t care about them all that much. If he secretly does care about them, I’d say it’s likely that he doesn’t even know he does.
Idk why all of a sudden villain stans and hero stans are feuding over things that shouldn’t even be up for debate in the first place. Sorry if this came off as super aggressive, I’m just sick of seeing this stuff all over the place. If anyone has anything to add go ahead

what do you think about harvey's relationship with other characters (not with gordon)? not only romantic ones, just his interactions with other people?
So I threw this out to tumblr
I was wondering if there are any topics people might find interesting to read about? Or I mean if you have any Harvey questions you’d like me to answer/want to hear my opinions on, feel free to throw them my way! :)
and @honestmrdual asked the above.
So I think about Harvey a lot but it’s generally Harvey on his own, that being said I have thought about his relationships with other people. Romantic and non.
I decided (so that this list wouldn’t get too long) to focus on a select few-
Firstly Friendship and Romances in general and then specific relationships including; Dix, Scottie, Fish, Alfred, Edward (I was going to talk about more but it got so long so I cut half of them haha!)
Generally as a rule I think Harvey is pretty easy going on the romantic and friendship front. I think he picks up friends easily (despite what his friendship with Jim might tell us), there’s a lot of people have a lot of respect for Harvey as evidenced numerous times at the GCPD. I think part of that is because Harvey just has this cheeky charm that you can’t help but love.
I think Harvey has friendships of equal measure with men and women but I think Harvey is pretty old school in his views and I think he thinks that men and women probably can’t be friends without something happening.
Firstly then let’s turn our attention to Harvey and Dix’s friendship
Harvey has known Dix since he was a rookie cop trying to make detective (Nothing Shocking - Harv says as much) and I think he see’s Dix as a sort of mentor and father figure, because of this he wants to take care of Dix, even if he doesn’t always agree with him. I think we see this especially in the episode in season four (Nothing Shocking) when they have their moment in the office and it is a beautiful moment. It’s amazing what two actors can convey with so little to go on and that moment is an example of that. Furthering that idea of the parent/child relationship is the whole scene in Spirit of The Goat where Harvey storms off after saying he’s the smartest guy in the room and then we see him paying the nurse. Harvey rebels against Dix the way a child rebels against a parental figure - pushing boundaries (and thinking they know best) - something which is also evidenced in that first scene of Spirit of The Goat when Harvey, against Dix’s advice goes rushing in to try and stop the Goat.
You can see that Harvey and Dix care about each other in all their interactions. That Dix doesn’t blame Harvey for his life getting busy and that he doesn’t want Harvey to be eaten up by that guilt.
There’s a hell of a lot of guilt in that relationship on both sides too. Harvey feels it more strongly for the way his actions cost Dix the use of his legs BUT also I think Dix feels it because he’s half the reason Harvey has ended up so jaded and so full of guilt.
They care about each other though and Dix seems to be one of the few characters to actually show concern about Harvey and his wellbeing throughout the seasons even if it’s not explicit.
Next Scottie Mullens and Harvey
- So when Scottie first came into the show (and she’s only in it for two episodes) I was pretty excited to see a potential love interest for Harvey. However this relationship really suffers in the hands of the writers and I think it’s because they just don’t know how to write women, especially not strong women. (I mean look at the rollercoaster of Lee’s portrayal).
In the first moments Scottie meets Harvey she tells him not to be an ass and at first I was excited because it seemed like here we had a woman who could banter with Harvey, but, for some reason this doesn’t feel like banter. It feels like she’s telling him off - which isn’t such a bad thing - only it’s kind of aggressive and if this were the other way round and the gender’s were switched there’d be red flags all over it. Scottie’s second and last appearance is at the start of season 2 where we find out Harvey is engaged. She is incredibly controlling in the two minutes we get of her. She is hostile to Jim, talks over him and Harvey.
She is the epitome of the nagging housewife that was prevalent in so many ‘comedy’ shows of the 60′s and 70′s and Harvey is supposed to be the slightly brow beaten husband.
Personally I don’t think Harvey’s happy, for one he introduces Scottie as his girlfriend not his fiancee. Second he sounds so dejected when he tells her he’s telling Jim no and thirdly after Harvey tells Jim in the previous episode that the civilian life if better there’s a moment where the camera lingers on him and we see a flash that shows he’s not all that happy with it.
I think Harvey - especially in romantic relationships, but it could be argued for platonic ones too - doesn’t think he’s worth much, so he gets himself into relationships that aren’t actually that good for him. “We accept the love we think we deserve.” and I personally don’t think Harvey thinks he’s worth that much. Especially after having to give up his pursuit to be a white knight. I think he’s had it knocked out of him by Gotham. I think this is a reason he visits prostitutes a lot, I think it’s why he gets into these romances with women who treat him, kind of like dirt - there’s a sort of side romance in the first Gotham novel and that’s all kind of messed up.
It’s not just a case of Harvey enjoying BDSM, or being dominated either (though I do think he enjoys being dominated), I genuinely think Harvey believes he isn’t worthy of love and he isn’t worthy of being loved and appreciated properly.
- Harvey and Fish is another romantic relationship that I think runs deeper than just the flirting.
I feel like with Harvey and Fish the relationship there, is one that just never got the timing right. On paper they work well together and they clearly care deeply about each other (though let’s not forget Fish has tried to kill Harvey a few times) BUT I don’t know if that’s also just circumstance that has brought them together. They strike me as the sort of people who SHOULD fit, who SHOULD be good together but then just aren’t and I think, well I headcanon that partly has to do with Fish’s sexual appetites that are referenced a few times throughout the seasons.
- Harvey and Alfred
The moment Harvey and Alfred were on screen together in season 1 (around the episode ten mark), I got SO excited. Alfred is another of my favourite characters, and he was from the start of the series. He’s just so handsome and lovely and british and bond-esque. ANYWAY-
I really like Harvey and Alfred’s relationship because I feel like they have a good degree of respect for each other. I feel like Harvey and Alfred are two sides of the same coin. They’re both a similar age and they both have this want in them to be a white knight but they both know that sometimes you have to do some dirty stuff to get the right stuff done. Both of them seem to recognise the realness of the world around them, both of them have clearly lived and loved and lost. I feel like Harvey and Alfred get in each other in a way Jim could never get either of them because Jim is so No BuT We HaVe tO mAkE gOtHaM bEtTeR and bullheaded and freaking self righteous and Alfred has never been like that with Harvey. Not that we ever see anyway.
Alfred for me is like, not a finessed Harvey, but maybe the man Harvey wishes he was - and I know a lot of people would argue that Jim takes that spot but I really really don’t believe he does, I think there are aspects of Jim that Harvey wishes he could be more like but not Jim on a whole, Harvey has never been an all american boy scout. I believe Alfred is the man Harvey wishes he was and as cliche as it is it might have been nice to see them have a romantic entanglement with the same lady, just to watch some jealousy, competition and back and forthing.
Now we’ll move onto the one that I don’t really want to talk about but have to because I love Harvey, even his bad and horrible points.
- Harvey and Ed
So I couldn’t do a list of Harvey’s relationships without talking about Edward Nygma.
When it comes to Nygma, Harvey is a bully. That’s the only way I can describe it. There’s not much of anything that Ed does to Harvey in those early days that justifies Harvey’s actions towards him. (Not like with Penguin).
I feel maybe with Harvey it’s one of two things;
1) Ed is so unashamed to be himself that it makes Harvey - who is hiding parts of himself and seems to have fractured some of his nature because of this - uncomfortable.
or
2) Ed is just one of those people (and we all have them) who makes Harvey feel uneasy and he can’t quite put his finger on why. - We’ve all met that one person that just makes us feel uncomfortable and we’re not sure why, maybe they’re a little bit creepy, but whatever it is something about us goes on high alert when they’re around and we don’t want to be alone with them for more than five seconds.
It doesn’t justify Harvey’s reaction to Ed or the way he treats him and he ends up contributing to Ed’s downfall, but it does go someway to explain it.
I think it’s quite telling that the one time Harvey tells Ed he’s done a good job Ed is surprised because he never expected praise from Harvey Bullock. I think this slight and temporary change in attitude probably has to do with the fact that Harvey probably hasn’t been hanging around with the same old crowds - like flass - now he’s having to run around with Jim and fighting crime.
Like I said this got super long so if you made it this far well done and I’m sorry not sorry for rambling on so much. Like I said I just love Gotham’s Harvey Bullock.

Chloé as Ladybug AU
So I know some people have thought of this before but tbh now I’m thinking of it in a ‘what if this was taken seriously as a way for her to go through a redemption arc and grow as aperson instead of just using ‘she’s terrible and everyone hates her(especially Adrien)’ as the entire joke?’.
Anyway, onto the actual thing, starting with Origins:
Chloé somehow gets the Ladybug Miraculous instead of Marinette. Maybe accidentally, maybe Master Fu has some plans. IDK.
She’s super excited over the attention she would get as a Hero. Tikki warns her that she can’t reveal her identity, and she’s like ‘okay, fine, yeah that’s a superhero rule whatever.’. And since she isn’t transforming as part of her breakdown, she does stick to that.
immediately after she transforms and starts running around the city to get used to the powers/practice with the yoyo/etc.
Chloé runs into Chat Noir.
They immediately recognize eachother and are like the pointing Siderman meme
Legit though, they’re super excited to be heroes together. Bffs as Heroes! And yes, bffs, because I always headcanon them as sibling-like with Chloé faking her crush for a variety of reasons. But hey! With secret identities, you don’t have to do that!
As usual, Ivan becomes Stoneheart.
Chloé and Adrien treat it as more of a game, at first. I mean, they became Superheroes. Of course they think it’s gonna be fun. So they play it up, go ham, soak in the attention and play with the ‘personas’
They kinda realize through the fight that it might be harder than they thought. Because they are getting slammed around, and it starts to actually hurt. But they get through and win.
Then we have the later scene of ‘you remembered to purify the butterfly, right?’
Upon learning that she screwed up, Chloé snaps at Tikki. Telling her ‘how the hell was I supposed to know if you didn’t tell me? I’ve never done this before!’.
Logically, she knows that Tikki just forgot. But she feels like it was a set up for failure. And despite her ‘omg I’m the best’ persona she puts up, she is kind of scared that she’s not enough. That she’s never enough. And this brings that up.
As much as she tries to pretend , she kinda knows that she’s terrible and honestly doesn’t deserve to be a hero. And this just proves it. So she Rejects the Miraculous and Tikki disappears back into the earrings.
At school they’re all discussing the whole Stoneheart thing and Chloé kinda tries to help by saying ‘well, just don’t piss him off and he won’t go all giant monster again’. That doesn’t come out as intended.
Ivan becomes Stoneheart again, but this time Chloé manages to get out before she’s grabbed/
At first, she doesn’t join the fight. Why bother when she’ll screw it up again?
But she sees Chat Noir out there still trying(and kinda failing.) And she can’t leave him on his own.
When she puts the earrings on and Tikki comes back out, the Kwami apologizes for not telling her about the butterfly. And this… catches Chloé off guard. Because people never apologize sincerely to her.
A lot of times people refuse to apologize to her. More often than not, they are forced to apologize because she’s the Mayor’s Daughter and could ruin them if they didn’t. Sometimes, with her parents, it’s a brushed off apology. A ‘sorry not sorry’, ‘sorry you got upset by my totally justified actions’.
So to have Tikki genuinely apologize, it confuses her. Especially when Tikki acknowledges that Chloé might not be the best person, but she doesn’t have to be perfect. Still, she hopes she can be better, knows she can if she tries again.
Chloé goes to fight as Ladybug again, and this time, her version of the speech to Hawkmoth is basically ‘I might not be the perfect choice for this job, but by fuck I’m going to do it! I will never back down or give in to you!’.
Next day at school, when Chloé goes to sit down, she finds Marinette back in her seat. When she tells her to move, Marinette stands up to her, saying ‘maybe I’m not perfect like you think you are, but I’m not backing down or giving in to you anymore.’.
This has gone full roleswap. Marinette sees Ladybug as a hero and inspiration, and uses that as the courage to stand up for herself.
This, honestly, confuses the hell out of Chloé so much that she actually backs down for a minute.
There are two things that stop Chloé from retaliating immediately.
The first is what Tikki said, about believing she can be better. Part of her thinks ‘whatever. I know I’m terrible. I’ve resigned myself to that. And even if I try no one will believe or accept it’. But… Tikki is an ancient magical creature, the Kwami of Creation. She might be right.
The second thing, is when Adrien saw Marinette stand up to Chloé, he was immediately like ‘heart eyes motherfucker!’.
So, Adrien has a crush on Marinette. Though she hates him because of Chloé’s earlier gum prank. So Chloé decides to confront Marinette.
Mari is expecting a fight and absolutely squares up. But Chloé is just like ‘hey I wanna talk about the gum prank’.
Mari’s like ‘Are you… are you apologizing?. Chloé’s just like ‘oh god no that’d be ridiculous. I just wanted to tell you that Adrien isn’t a part of it.’.
She explains that while she is absolutely a terrible person and knows it, Adrien is sweet af and innocent in that.
While Mari is hesitant and thinks this might be Chloé setting her up, she does give Adrien a chance. Especially after he apologizes and she asks other students about the gum prank.
Marinette doesn’t develop her crush on Adrien. But they do become friends.
Chloé also stops pretending to have a crush on Adrien because he likes Mari, and while Chloé would never admit it, Mari is probably the one person who might be good enough for him now that she has confidence. So she actively encourages him to go for it.
In between episodes, Chloé invites Adrien over and he gets to meet Tikki, while Chloé gets to meet Plagg!
At first Tikki’s like ‘you arent’ supposed to tell anyone about the hero stuff!’, but they explain that they recognized each other immediately so, you know. It didn’t matter.
The Kwami allow it if only because it was accidental but they are happy that they can see each other whenever this time around!
Chloé gets along with Plagg very well, and Adrien gets along with Tikki just as easily. They jokingly are like ‘maybe we should switch’.
So, like, before we go on I want to talk about Chloé’s ‘Hero Persona’. Much like Adrien as Chat Noir, Chloé uses Ladybug to be different from herself. She plays into the Hero Persona bit, trying to be nice and encouraging as a Hero should be. Which is strange to her, but kind of fun.
It doesn’t always work because she isn’t used to it, and sometimes the snark comes out or her temper gets the better of her, or it turns into my ‘how valid is your reason for akumatization’ post. But honestly? The way people love her and look up to her as Ladybug is good. Almost addicting in a way. It’s not only attention but good attention of people loving her for things she does instead of hating her or pretending to love her for money/status.
This does eventually start leaking into her Civillian life, especially with encouragement from Adrien and Tikki. And Plagg, I guess. He’s a bit more like ‘eh, whatever, be salty kid.’
Okay, so, as for other episodes. Some would stay the same with the only thing that changes being it’s Chloé doing the fighting instead of Marinette, but others go very differently. So I’ll go through them.
Stormy Weather
Mostly no changes. There might be the fact that, since Marinette doesn’t have a crush on Adrien, she doesn’t go to his photoshoot and therefore she, Alya, and Manon don’t get caught in Stormy Weather’s attack. But that wasn’t too important.
The Bubbler
Both Adrien and Chloé put off hero duties to enjoy the party at first. However, once they find out that parents are getting sent to space they jump into action.
Since Marinette doesn’t have a crush on Adrien, she didn’t panic and forget to sign the present. She instead gives it to Adrien in-person, and Nathalie has to run out and buy something else to give Adrien.
The Pharaoh
Not much changes here, except it’s Chloé and Adrien going to the Egypt Exhibit instead of Marinette and Alya. Well, who knows. Those two might’ve shown up too. It’s a neat Exhibit.
Chloé wouldn’t have dropped her history book. I’m still not sure what the fuck was up with that in the show in the first place. Ladybug doesn’t have pockets! Well, actually, this version might…. Remind me to design Chloé’s Ladybug outfit sometime. Either way!! No textbook!!
Lady Wifi
Of course Alya still starts up the Ladyblog. But I had a few ideas of how this could go.
Option A is to continue the role reversal and have Alya think that Marinette is Ladybug. The problem here is that if Alya snoops through Mari’s stuff, Mari wouldn’t freak out and try to have Alya expelled.
Option B is to still have Alya on the right track with Chloé being Ladybug, and does the ‘snoop in her locker’ thing. Naturally Chloé panics and insists Alya be expelled for that. (Side note: I still insist that Chloé was entirely justified in her reaction to someone rooting around in her locker). Problem here is ‘how does Chloé get out of this one?’
Timebreaker
This goes pretty much the same. Four teenagers don’t have enough collective brainpower to think ‘a pocket watch goes in a pocket’, and Chloé comes in with the Crow Brain to look at the shiny thing. Watch gets dropped and broken, Akuma time.
There is the issue of Marinette being unable to use time travel to fix her issue of needing to be in two places at once, but either she hides from Timebreaker by going home and taking care of the problem, or Chloé(having softened up a bit and is being nice) gives a half-truth to cover for her, saying ‘oh, sorry, she was caught up in some Akuma business and couldn’t be here!’.
Mr. Pigeon
I still don’t understand what the fuck is up with this.
The Akuma part of the story is still the same, but the hat contest is probably different due to the shift in dynamics. Chloé is trying to be nicer and even if she tried to copy Marinette’s hat design, Tikki would talk her out of it.
Although, Adrien probably is really encouraging for Marinette because of his crush, and he really wants her to win.
Chloé actually does something nice, after noticing that Mari took inspiration from the Akuma of the day and added feathers. She goes up and warns her, ‘hey, Adrien’s going to be wearing the hat and he’s allergic to feathers you should use fake feathers’. Mari is a little suspicious because while Chloé’s been better lately she’s still Chloé. But since it was something simple like that and not an act of sabotage, she takes the advice.
Evillustrator
So, while Nath is still Akumatized due to his teacher being a bitch, the ‘Chloé teasing him’ goes a little different.
When she sees his sketchbook, her comment is to Adrien of ‘looks like you have some competition!’, cluing Nath into the fact that Adrien also has a crush on Marinette, and immediately bringing up some insecurities because, you know, Adrien is a literal model.
When he’s Akumatized, instead of going after Chloé for her teasing, he goes after Adrien for being a romantic rival.
However, once Ladybug and Chat Noir are on the scene, he can’t find Adrien or Chloé, so he heads over to Marinette’s house.
While that was happening, we still have the issue with Marinette trying to convince Sabrina that Chloé is a bad friend. Since Mari wasn’t interrupted by Ladybug stuff, Sabrina was actually with her and both are being held hostage by Evillustrator.
Chloé lures Evillustrator away while Chat Noir stays behind to protect the girls. It doesn’t entirely work, but Marinette offers to be ‘bait’. Both heroes are opposed to it, but she points out that Evillustrator will come back eventually.
Chat Noir goes out of his way to protect Marinette and is just overly sweet and maybe shows off a little bit and oh no now she has a crush on him. Chloé finds out about this and is fucking cackling because Adrien likes Marinette and she returns the feelings but she doesn’t know that!
After all of this, Chloé does realize that Marinette is right about the whole Sabrina situation. And as part of her ‘being better’ thing, apologizes and resolves to be a better friend. Sabrina is easily won over by just the apology, but Chloé is legit trying.
Rogercop
not sure how this would pan out tbh. The whole thing was kickstarted because Plagg stole Chloé’s bracelet thinking it was cheese. But in this AU, Adrien would be able to tell Chloé what happened because she knows about Plagg, and even if he couldn’t Chloé has Tikki in her purse so Tikki would tell her(if she didn’t already stop Plagg from being an idiot). And even if she didn’t know, Chloé wouldn’t let her bag be searched because of Tikki
Legit though this is probably the one I’m stuck on
Copycat
This wouldn’t be exactly the same. Assuming the same thing happened of Théo having a crush on this Ladybug, Chat wouldn’t be jealous of this crush since he likes Marinette, not Chloé. Maybe this one is either Chat tries to let the guy down gently that Chloé won’t like him back, but accidentally implies that he’s dating Ladybug?
Mari’s subplot wouldn’t be the same since she doesn’t have a crush on Adrien and wouldn’t leave an embarrassing voicemail.
Wait, maybe the tables are turned and in this AU Théo has a crush on Chat Noir, and Chloé is the one who pulls the ‘he is already in love with someone else’, accidentally implying it’s her. Meanwhile Chat is missing because Adrien is attempting to ask Marinette out on a date.
Dark Cupid
This is mostly the same. Kim confesses to Chloé and is rejected. She’d be less harsh in this AU, but she still rejected him so you know.
Dark Cupid does effect Friendship, so when Chat gets hit it turns against Chloé’s friendship. He honestly probably says some very harsh stuff about Chloé’s history as a bully. She pushes that aside for later.
I’m thinking that Chloé knows she needs Chat back, and decides to go the ‘true love’s kiss’ route. Which means Marinette. Who just so happened to be trying to figure out a way to get a valentine to Chat Noir.
After everything’s back to normal, Adrien apologizes for the stuff he said while under Dark Cupid’s spell. Chloé says he doesn’t have to, because he was right. While she’d been kinda edging toward being nicer, this is where it really hits her that she should try in her civilian life instead of just as Ladybug.
Horrificator
Goes mostly the same. Mylene is scared and gets Akumatized over it. Chloé is trying to help by pointing out ‘why are you in a monster movie if you’re going to get this scared by what you know is coming??’, but it comes out bad. Chloé does get a chance to apologize by the end.
She also isn’t helping by trying to set up Mari and Adrien for the kiss scene. Which confuses everyone because while they noticed that Chloé wasn’t all over Adrien they still think she’s ‘hopelessly in love with him’ and have no clue why she’s doing that
Darkblade
Mostly the same for the Akuma plot.
Chloé decides to not blackmail anyone since it’s part of being nicer. I’m debating about having her decide to give up being class representative since being Ladybug is cutting into her free time enough, but considering her stubornness and the fact that she might feel pressured into the role by her dad, she might still run but ultimately lose to Marinette who wins since there was no blackmail to hold her back.
The Mime
The Akuma plot is the same. The side plot might be tweaked in that, since Marinette can’t recreate the footage herself, she tracks down Chloé and asks for her to recreate the interview she accidentally deleted.
Kung Food
Since Chloé is actively being nicer by this point, she wouldn’t sabotage the soup. I mean, I guess maybe this could be the point where Marinette says something to piss her off and Chloé slips back into her old ways for a bit, but regrets it as soon as she realizes what she really did and that this goes further than just petty revenge on someone who insulted her.
Gamer
Possibly different. Marinette wouldn’t have a reason to enter the gaming competition, therefore Max wouldn’t lose and be Akumatized.
Maybe Marinette ends up entering anyway. Or maybe Adrien suggests that Chloé try competing too since she’s definitely good at video games. (TELL ME I’M WRONG. Adrien only had her as a friend for most of his life! How would he get good at a multiplayer game if he didn’t have someone to play against?!)
Animan
Again, the Akuma is the same but the B plot is different! Since Adrien has a crush on Marinette, and everyone besides Marinette knows it because the boy is not subtle, I’m thinking something different.
Option A is that Nino has a crush on Alya and Adrien and Marinette try to set them up
Option B is that Nino, Alya, and Chloé try to set up a date for Adrien and Marinette. Nino and Alya are very confused about what’s up with Chloé but, well, you know how it goes.
Either way Chloé absolutely goes off on the Akuma of the day. “You were Akumatized because some dumbass doesn’t understand panthers??? What the fuck my man???”
Vanisher
I know Vanisher didn’t get her own episode but that was unfair as FUCK and this would fix it!
Since Chloé is actually Ladybug, she doesn’t dress up and pretend to be Ladybug. Therefore, the original fight can’t happen.
Instead, Chloé and Sabrina fight because Chloé keeps disappearing to be Ladybug. She runs off, she spends time with other people now, and she doesn’t answers Sabrina’s late night texts anymore because Chloé doesn’t have her phone on her when she’s out on patrols.
Even though Chloé promised to be a better friend, she’s technically been worse and is making Sabrina feel invisible.
After De-Akumatizing her, Chloé and Sabrina have a long talk, and try to schedule things out. She can’t tell her about being Ladybug, but she absolutely tries to make sure they hang out more.
Anitibug
Obviously Chloé wouldn’t get Aumatized here. However, Marinette absolutely can!
It still has something to do with Ladybug though. I was thinking maybe Chloé as Ladybug would snap at her like a reverse of what happened in the show. But you know what would be better?
Marinette finds out that Chloé is Ladybug. Think about it. The girl that bullied her for years and the girl who gave her the confidence to stand up to said bully are the same person. It not only breaks her mind, but she spirals thinking about every interaction she had with Ladybug, over analyzing every little comment and turning it into some kind of insult.
Also, her whole thing with Chat Noir? Absolutely comes into play. Marinette has him tied up and does the whole ‘hey, look, your Ladybug is actually pretty terrible. How about you get with me instead?’. Chat’s like ‘Okay I like you but this is not how I wanted this to go down!!’.
Eventually she is de-akumatized, but it’s their hardest fight yet. Chloé tries to talk to Marinette, but she doesn’t want to hear it. But Chat and Tikki are there to make her (Mari also freaks out at Tikki, but that’s explained quickly).
Chloé is like ‘look, I’ve been terrible. I am terrible. Even if I’m trying to be better, I know that. But everything I said or did as Ladybug was true. And even if it wasn’t, it meant something to you. You stood up to me and my terrible self because of that. So even if it’s me behind the mask, keep doing what you’re doing. You’re kind of amazing. Also if you tell anyone I said that I will tie you to the top of the Eiffel Tower I swear to fuck.”
This kind of really gets through to Mari that she’s trying to be better. And she looks back and sees that a lot of Chloé’s weird behavior was her either being nice or trying and failing to be nice. This starts up a tentative friendship.
Chat’s kind of like ‘Hey since she knows who you are shouldn’t she know who I am?’, but Tikki says no and bans him from telling her. Adrien is screaming because this would fix all of his romance problems real quick but no he still has to try and win Marinette over as Adrien. Goddamn it.
Puppeteer
Probably goes about the same since none of the Mari/Chloé/Adrien things caused this.
However, Chloé goes off on Nadja for the toy incident. You are given a toy to borrow for the weekend, but forbid it because ‘your kid has too many toys’? What the fuck lady? It’d be one thing if your kid was begging to buy an expensive toy but this is a free gift she’d return after like a week!
Relfekta
since Chloé isn’t being mean, this probably happens differently. Maybe it’s a ‘slipping back into her old habits’ thing while trying to help get Mari next to Adrien, but she probably didn’t go as far. It was just Juleka’s curse that happened.
Guitar Villain
Happens the same, really. Can’t go wrong with a pet dragon.
Pixelator
Pretty much the same, except Adrien and Marinette get trapped together and Adrien is still dying inside because he can’t just transform to get them out because Tikki will kill him. (He does not want to anger the tiny god thing!)
Princess Fragrance
Instead of being a bitch, Chloé brushes off Rose’s request of delivering a letter to Prince Ali because she’s concerned about Tikki being sick.
Simon Says
Pretty much the same, except for two changes:
First, when Adrien snaps at his dad, Chloé’s like ‘nah he deserves it! Fuckin go off since you can without repercussions!’.
Secondly, when Chloé finds out why the guy got Akumatized, she points out it’s the fault of the showrunners for deciding ‘we’re going to call a person at random and if they refuse to participate you fail automatically bye bitch!’. Which gets the Akuma to be like ‘wait, you’re right. Hold that thought.’
Volpina
Hoo boy! This is fun!
So, Chloé actually pays no attention to Lila. She knows Lila’s lying, but she doesn’t care. It ain’t hurting her, and she’ll be found out soon enough. If she does try something, then she can easily give an interview as Ladybug to disprove her claim of friendship. (She wants to do it anyway because she’s salty but she refrains.)
Marinette picks up on Lila’s lies about knowing Ladybug, since she knows Chloé is Ladybug and Chloé doesn’t know Lila at all. She still does her thing of following Lila.
Adrien still finds the Book of Miraculous Bullshittery, and he tells Chloé to meet him in the library to discuss it. They start up, but are interrupted by Lila. The three look at the book, but Chloé takes it with her at the end of the conversation.
Lila still saw enough of the book to buy a fake Miraculous for later. Marinette still following her of course.
However, at the park scene, it’s Adrien who calls Lila out on her lies(Mari wants to, but she can’t prove anything since she isn’t Ladybug). Adrien’s obviously nicer, but he’s still like ‘I know you’re lying about knowing Ladybug and being a Hero, but why?’.
This pisses Lila off because she ruined her chances with him. She becomes Volpina of course.
Adrien and Chloé obviously put together that this is an Akuma and not another hero. When Adrien explains what happened, Chloé gets very upset that this girl tried to manipulate her best friend like that.
After defeating her, Chloé tentatively offers to give Lila another chance, since Adrien talked her into it. But Lila’s like ‘fuck you!’.
Christmas Special
So, like, since Chloé knows that Adrien’s Chat Noir, and knows he’s fine after he disappears, she doesn’t show up to kick santa’s ass. So something else probably happens.
So, I kinda stopped properly watching episodes after Season 1, but I know what happens and such to the point where I’ll talk on them. Not every episode, but ones where I know something would change.
The Collector
Chloé goes to meet Master Fu, and she takes Adrien with her. There is a lot of mixed feelings over suggesting that Gabriel could be Hawkmoth that get discussed right then and there.
While Master Fu thinks Gabriel can’t be Hawkmoth since he was Akumatized, Chloé says they can’t rule him out. She knows manipulation tactics. And Gabriel becoming an Akuma right at the moment when they were investigating him? It’s suspicious. She lets it go for now, but she doesn’t rule him out. Adrien honestly agrees.
Despair Bear
Sine Chloé is already being nicer, there is no need to threaten her with the bear. And she wouldn’t be upset at Mari and Adrien dancing together. Not sure how/why the butler would be Akumatized. Maybe the butler doesn’t know shes being nicer and is trying to do this to help, but misunderstands her excitement over the dance as jealous anger? Idk
Prime Queen
Since Chloé and Adrien are 110% platonic, when Nadja asks about the ‘supposed romantic relationship’, they laugh for a good two minutes before going ‘wait you’re serious??’. They explain that they’re not in a romance, they’re just good friends who trust the fuck out of each other
Riposte
Since Marinette isn’t joining the fencing club to impress Adrien, we have to do something different. Maybe she tries to join for other reasons. Either Adrien asks as a way to spend more time with her, or she joins because now that she knows about Chloé being Ladybug, she wants to help fight.
Gigantitan
Instead of everyone trying to get Mari to ask out Adrien, they’re trying to get Adrien to ask out Marinette.
Dark Owl
Chloé and Adrien already know each other’s identities, so this isn’t an ‘almost reveal’.
Glaciator
Since Adrien has a crush on Marinette and not Ladybug, he wouldn’t miss the ice cream date. The guy might get Akumatized when Marinette is disappointed that her ice cream isn’t Chat Noir flavored. (Okay, I wrote that at like 4 am and now that I’m coming back to it I am concerned at my wording.)
Sapotis
While Chloé is working on being friendly to all classmates, and Adrien is already close to Alya, she wouldn’t be their first choice for another Miraculous.
Instead, they give the Fox to Marinette. Not only does she already know about Chloé, but both of our heroes agree that Mari is Hero Material.(She really is. Even in this ‘she never got a Miraculous the first time AU, she still is!).
Chloé refuses to take the Fox away from Marinette. After all, it’s not fair that the Ladybug and Cat are out all the time. Not to mention that Mari can’t get any good practice in without the Miraculous. That and they don’t want to separate Mari and Trixx.
Also, Trixx teases the hell out of Tikki for having her Chosen be the first to screw up the secret identity thing.
Zombizou
As Chloé is nice here, neither Marinette nor Miss Bustier are in danger of being Akumatized because of her.
However, I have ideas for Miss Bustier’s Akumatization based off what was going to happen in my old fic The One Where Chloé Knows. I plan to continue that eventually, so skip this if you don’t want spoilers.
Basically, Miss Bustier is in some trouble with the school since most of the Akumas have come out of her class. She just wants to do her job and keep her students safe.
Syren
instead of being upset at Ladybug keeping secrets, since Chloé doesn’t do that, Adrien gets frustrated that he can’t tell Marinette who he is. Other than that this episode is pretty much the same.
Frightengale
instead of ruining Clara’s music video out of petty jealousy, Chloé does it to try and help protect Chat Noir’s secret identity. It backfires, of course, doubly so because she can’t tell Marinette why, but everything works out in the end.
Troublemaker
Mari doesn’t have a photo wall of Adrien. Maybe she has a wall of Chat Noir, but probably not since there aren’t as many printed pictures of him to collect.
Anansi
I’m debating on whether or not to do something with the Turtle Miraculous.
Option A is to keep it as is, giving it to Nino. This would be Adrien’s decision since he knows Nino best.
Option B, is to have Chloé give it to Sabrina, especially since she still feels guilty for not spending as much time with her.
I’m debating about it because while Option B makes some sense, Sabrina isn’t really Hero Material. Not yet at least. But Nino is.
Frozer
Marinette starts to get over her crush on Chat Noir, convincing herself it was just a ‘hero crush’ type thing. She decides to try a date with Luka. Adrien, believing he’s lost his love to him, tries going out with Kagami. Both end up wishing they were with each other instead.
Style Queen
Since Chloé is already Ladybug, she can’t be the Bee. She gives the Bee to someone else. Possibly Alya, to keep the original Quintet intact. But maybe someone else.
Instead of turning into a superhero out of jealous rage, Chloé snaps at her mother and nearly gets Akumatized before Adrien and Marinette manage to calm her down. This does get through to her mother, who realizes how much she’s been fucking up by being absent.
Malediktator
Since Chloé is being a better person she would have no reason to leave Paris. I think her dad would probably get Akumatized due to Chloé’s near-breakdown in the previous episode, realizing how much he fucked up in raising her too.
Heroes’ Day
I wanted to say something would be different, but other than Marinette being re-akumatised instead of Chloé, not really. I guess the ‘good deeds’ speech would be different.
Backwarder
Since Marinette isn’t trying to deliver a love letter to Adrien, and likely isn’t the one doing any deliveries at all, the letters don’t get mixed up. Not sure how this would go down instead.
Weredad
A few things are different. Firstly, Mari wouldn’t have a secret identity to hide since Chat Noir knows she’s the Fox.(I guess I could go back and say oh, no, only Chloé knows, but not only was it a group decision to give her the Fox, but Chloé wouldn’t put them in a love square so help her!)
Marinette also does actually have a crush on Chat Noir in this AU, so it wouldn’t be a panic-fueled lie.
Even if Mari confessed to liking Chat Noir to distract him, Chat would be delighted instead of saying ‘I’m in love with someone else’. However, he might say ‘sorry, as much as I do return your affections, we can’t be together right now due to the secret identity’
Chameleon
When Lila tries to manipulate the class into loving her, Chloé calls her out on it. At first people think it’s Chloé going back to her old ways and/or trying to shift the hatred to the new girl.
Then Marinette chimes in with the stuff she eavesdropped on back in Volpina, and Adrien hesitantly backs up the claims that Lila did try to lie to get him to date her.
Everyone agrees that Lila might’ve lied about that, but there’s a chance she’s not lying about other things. Still, they now take what she says with a grain of salt.
Lila confronts Chloé in the bathrooms this time, telling her the usual ‘stay out of my way or I’ll ruin you’. Chloé tells her ‘go ahead and try. They already hate me. I have nothing to lose!’.
Chloé has a minor breakdown after Lila leaves though. Because while she said she has nothing to lose, she kind of does. Because people are starting to genuinely like her now that she’s being nice. And if Lila ruins that…. Well, Chloé almost gets Akumatized over it, but she pulls together knowing that Adrien and Marinette would never believe Lila.
Lila then becomes Chameleon and causes chaos though. Lila still has a hatred of Ladybug, but she also hates Chloé and Marinette as much. Only reason she doesn’t hate Adrien is because if she can get him, then it will be a big fuck you to Chloé and Marinette.
Animaestro
Since Marinette and Chloé aren’t fighting over Adrien, they don’t have a problem.
Bakerix
There’s mostly no change except for the fact that Chloé puts together that this might not be about bread recipes….
Oblivio
Since it’s Chloé and Adrien getting memory wiped, their assumptions are different. I could go for comedy and say they also assume they are a couple and get grossed out later when they regain their memories, but I think they assume they’re siblings since they obviously trust each other but don’t have a romantic spark.
Stormy Weather 2
Chloé’s not a jerk anymore, so she wouldn’t be picking on Aurore. Idk what happens I’m tired it’s fuckin 5 am as I’m typing this now.
Onichan
I doubt that Adrien would be allowed to be alone near Lila after what happened in Chameleon. While Chloé and Marinette would be willing to give her a chance at redemption, Lila has shown no sign of doing so and would not trust her until she does.
Adrien might end up forced by something else to spend time with Lila. Or maybe he’s just too nice for his own damn good.
However, he gets very cold when Lila pulls the kiss picture, and decides ‘no. No way. You want another chance you gotta go through someone else first’.
Miraculer
Since Chloé is the Bee, and none of the other Heroes identities are known, and they get to keep their Miraculous 24/7, this doesn’t really happen.
I feel like this could be a time to change the entire episode plot. Say, for example, Chloé finally gives in to her insecurities and fears over being never enough and gets Akumatized. She manages to take off the Miraculous first, and Tikki zips off to find one of the other heroes to be Ladybug for the day. She absolutely chooses Marinette for the cookies.
Timetagger
FUCK IT I’M GIVING ALIX THE SNAKE INSTEAD OF THE RABBIT FUCK YOU SHE HAS SNAKE DESIGNS ON HER SLEEVES GODDAMNIT.
Sorry it’s 5 am and I’m salty. But seriously.
I don’t think Gamer 2.0 would change, and that’s the most recent episode as of typing this so fuck it this is going right into the void tomorrow and then I can go back to working on fuckin fullmetal alchemist and all that other gay shit.

You remember my comparison art piece of my Ruby and V7 Ruby? How V7 Ruby seems to be trying to hold onto hope and explore herself as a young woman (as CRWBY said this volume would show a more "playful side" to Ruby). Well, I can see her trying to explore herself because she knows that they might not have a lot of time left, what with how things are. I can see her trying to become more outgoing as a means to experience as much as she can before it's too late.
Hiya Miki-chan. To add to your point, I can see Ruby becoming more relaxed and carefree while everyone is in Atlas due to the fact that, for the first time since, I guess Beacon back in Vale, Atlas will provide our heroes temporary sanctuary. It’s why I like the idea of teams RWBY, JNR and even Oscar as well continuing their huntsmen training at Atlas Academy. After all, I believe the original plan for Haven was for our heroes to travel to Haven to possibly continue their training there? Possibly? Correct me if I’m wrong. However as we saw, this was not the case at all.
I guess I can see our heroes settling down sort of nicely in Atlas and making themselves at home within the kingdom walls. After all, Atlas currently is considered the safest kingdom in Remnant for the time being since Ironwood recalled all of their kingdom’s forces to protect the outer borders which Ironwood also took care of closing off to the outside world. As far as we know, no one is expected to get in or out of Atlas. I also wouldn’t be shocked if there is an invisible force field of some kind surrounding Atlas—possibly one produced by a higher quantity of hard light dust similar to the ones used during the Vytal Festival and Caroline Cordovin of Argus for the mecha-fight.

In the case of Ruby Rose, this squiggle meister is very much intrigued to see this more ‘playful side’ to our young rose. Makes me wonder if we’re going to see Ruby try to be all flirty, catching the attention of potential love interests while in Atlas (apart from Oscar of course). It’d be precious if Ruby is the type to try and be all sexy and flirtatious (possibly encouraged by Neon Katt) only to end up sort of failing, but in an adorable fashion befitting of her chipper personality of course. Makes me think back to my Ruby’s Big Bad Boyfriend headcanons—both one and two.
It also makes me wonder if we’re going to see the typical teenage drama story trope where Ruby is the girl naïve to love and romance who falls for like the first impressively handsome love interest to take an interest in her only to have this person be revealed to be a fake ass hat who breaks her heart.
And then this leads to our boy Oscar Pine coming in clutch to sort of white-knight for Ruby, schooling the jerk who hurt his lovely red rose while simultaneously revealing to Ruby the charming little prince behind the gentle farm boy who’s been in front of her eyes the entire time.
Yes I know this all sounds mighty cheesy right now but…aw hell, who doesn’t like some cheesy romance? The hopeless romantic side of shipping heart beats for this kind of stuff and I think it could be adorable for our titular smaller, more honest Rosebuds since their friendship and bond is so adorable and pure.
I’ve talked once or twice before of seeing a more carefree side of Ruby who spends her time worrying about normal teenage girl stuff—like her looks or romantic relationships and stuff like that as opposed to what we’re accustomed seeing from her—a young girl thrust into the leadership role and influenced to be a voice of reason, guidance and motivation to her older teammates.
Seeing this side of Ruby could be sweet. I’m all for ‘Ruby the Teenaged Girl’ moments in V7 especially when it comes to seeing this so-called ‘playful side of her’. I’m sorry, this just makes me think that Ruby is gonna try to flirt with someone only to fail hard but still looks cute nonetheless.
One moment that I’m hoping for is a possible parallel to V2. One thing that fans like myself are anticipating for V7 is a reunion with Team FNKI who eventually take our heroes partying or clubbing in Atlas, as promised by Neon back in V3.
I remember @ezroar even sharing an idea about FNKItaking our heroes to an secret underground rave and quite frankly I’m all for this idea. I’m especially for this idea if it leads into another ‘Painting the Town’-esque type of episode where we get to see everyone dress down and rock casual wear including the JNR gang plus Oscar.
Anyways why I’m hoping for another partying or dancing episode is for the sake of seeing a parallel moment where Oscar is possibly alone in the corner at the club, feeling socially awkward and out of place amongst all the dancing bodies and flashing lights and Ruby is the one to come over and kind o fcoax him into having fun.
I want this because it would be a nice call back to the scene in the Vytal Festival Ball with Ozpin where Ruby was alone and Oz came over to impart his usual wisdom on her.
I think this could be a great way to show just how much Ozpin’s wisdom has influenced Ruby in a way. With all the negativity surrounding Oz’s characterization as of late, it would be nice to have the show give a little reminder that Oz is a good man who, more or less, always looked out for the children in his care and cared for them as their mentor.
Say what you will about him. Yes he’s done some shady things in the past that could paint him as a gray character. Although more light gray than people believe him to be since I still stand by the notion that Oz’s actions were justifiable. But then again, that’s just me talking here.
Nevertheless, Ozpin was a good mentor who offered great advice whenever he could. And one of the people he imparted that wisdom to was Ruby Rose. I guess I just really would like to see the two messages that Oz left with Ruby come back to be used by Ruby to counsel Oscar in a sense.
To me that could be a good segway to frame that there is still a side of Ruby that believes in the words Ozpin told her. Not to mention that it can also open the door to show that in spite of what happened, Ruby still believes in the good of Ozpin . In the past, whenever she needed his advice, Oz willingly helped her during moments where she felt emotionally vulnerable. Ozpin showed Ruby empathy during those times. He chose to understand her. Help her even. And Ruby wasn’t the only one Oz helped before or showed empathy to. This could then potentially lead to Ruby suffering a stark revelation of what she did to Ozpin; realizing the wrong in what she put him through.
Yes, her actions with Jinn may have finally gotten the untold truth about Salem, however it revealed more than that. It also forced Oz (and possibly all the other lives that are a part of him since he is a culmination of countless of men) to relive some of the most tragic memories of his past.
Ruby exposed Oz. She unlocked all his skeletons without his consent. She laid out all of his dirty laundry to an audience of people who showed him no mercy. This is why I will always stand in the court that defends Ozpin. While I understand that he kept secrets from the group and I empathize with them feeling angry and resentful toward him for that particular reason. Ozpin did wrong but that doesn’t make what the group put him through any less right or good. It still doesn’t look any less bad when you acknowledge the other side of this coin that highlights that Oz was a person who was always kind, understanding and sympathetic to each and every face in the group that turned their backs on him.
Oz may have had secrets and told lies but he had justifiable cause. He’s also not the only one amongst the heroes sailing in the same boat. I just find it really sad that Oz never turned his back on anyone in his team. He always showed them empathy when they laid their insecurities at his feet. But the minute he needed that understanding in return, he…doesn’t get it. We don’t even get to see one person in the group consider the bigger picture or the other side of the picture. Everyone just adopts the same impression.
Salem can’t be killed. Oz lied about it to them. He doesn’t have a plan and he’s a bastard for it, according to Yang. I was expecting the truth about Oz to divide the heroes just as much as it has divided the fandom. But instead, everyone just adopts this one-sided thought that puts Oz as someone to be distrusted and he becomes a subject that no one wants to discuss—or rather the Writers don’t want them to discuss. Yet.
The only person who at the moment seems to be sympathetic with Oz is,Oscar. But that could potentially come back to bite the poor kid in the behind for the obvious issue with that. Poor Oscar. He’s probably going to have to play super glue or tin foil to a group that’s crumbling at the seams. Yes the heroes managed to get by without Ozpin’s influence for now. But how long is that luck going to last? Especially when General Dimples comes back into the picture?
Arthur Watts did point out back in V6 that Ozpin is the only one who can talk sense back into James. But how much will Oz help if he isn’t willing to show up. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a scene where Qrow takes Oscar to speak Ironwood on the hope that the kid would be able to pull the same ‘parlour trick’ he did back in V5 when he and Oz first soul swapped.
Unfortunately for Qrow, Oscar is unable to soul swap since there is no other soul to swap to. Oz still isn’t there nor is he willing to come out. He may have shown up to assist Oscar that one time since he was in immediate danger but I doubt Oz will do that again. Not even to see James. As a matter of fact,I figured Oz would feel even more ashamed to face James since he falls in the category of being another man, like Qrow, who put his fate fully in Oz under the impression that they were doing good that was actually helping humanity. Imagine how much more devastated and paranoid Ironwood might become if he learnt the truth? As a matter of fact, it might even be worse if Ironwood learnt the truth. Since V2, Ironwood had shown doubt in Oz despite their affiliation. He was also the one member of his circle to actually challenge his authority. How do you think James would react if he found out that all of the uncertainties he showed in Oz’s judgement were fact? That he’s better off trusting his old judgement than in his old friend.
Ironwood learning the truth could backfire badly on the heroes, especially if Oz isn’t there to soften the blow with his words. Just like everyone else, James could become another person to paint Oz as a liar leading people to their unavoidable deaths with all of the good he’s done being thrown out the window over one main mistake.
A mistake which, ironically, was the point he was trying to make before with Lionheart. I guess what I’m saying here is—Ozpin was wrong for keeping the truth about Salem a secret and lying about it. However, in my opinion, he had justifiable reasons for doing so which I understood.
I mean, I can go and on as to why I still defend Ozpinbut that’s not the topic on discussion right now. In a nutshell, I want V7 to show Ruby Rose recalling the advice Ozpin gave to her at Beacon and using those same words while she’s trying to motivate and/or assist Oscar through his development as a huntsman.
The impression I have is we are going to get to see Ruby truly stand up and stand by Oscar, probably a lot more than we’ve seen her in past seasons since out of everyone on the hero squad, Ruby relates to Oscar the most since she’s been in his shoes before as the underdog youngster planted with the badge of leadership with a lot of expectations to come from you (and I seriously hope the season plays off of this to help strengthen their dynamic and blossoming friendship).
Going back to the rave idea, I think it could be cute to have Oscar being at the club and feeling like he doesn’t belong there (which could potentially tie into his suppressed emotions over the Merge and feeling overwhelmed by everything that has happened to him within the past few weeks). Ruby takes notice of Oscar’s awkwardness and joins him in the corner. She tries her best to sort of emulate Ozpin in that moment, remembering the same words Oz once told her about dancing being not too similar from combat and how it’s good to take the time to enjoy yourselves when you get the chance.
In spite of Ruby’s reassuring words, Oscar admits to her that it’s not the dancing part that’s making him feel uneasy, it’s other things—basically it boils down to Oscar feeling sort of out of his element and feeling useless for not being able to keep up with everyone else when he’s expected to, given his situation.
This then inspires Ruby to help Oscar so she takes him away from all the loud music and sweaty dancing bodies toa much more quieter section of the club. Let’s say, according to Flynt who knows the place, there is an abandoned ole school dance hall with a jukebox in the back. The equipment still works but it hasn’t been used in while. Ruby accepts this place since at least it’d be quiet and secluded enough for her and Oscar to have some privacy while she helps him out.
This moment then leads to another heartfelt conversation between theRosebuds which also leads into Oscar bucking up the courage to ask Ruby to share a dance with him which she accepts. Rather than bumping and grinding to fast paced technobabble like their friends, Ruby and Oscar spend the remainder of the night slow dancing in each other’s arms in the back by themselves; just going with the flow to the tune of their own beat all the while enjoying and appreciating each other’s company.
I’m still sticking to my guns that Oscar is quite a decent dancer but is more accustomed to slow dancing, having been raised by his old fashioned farm bred family in the farm lands of Anima. And let’s say this works out great for Ruby as well since, I have a feeling that while in Atlas, Ruby might want to done away with her old ‘not a fancy-prancy-dancy girl’ act and give dancing a go. However Ruby is the opposite of Oscar. While Oscar knows how to dance but is apprehensive about the clubbing side of it, Ruby on the other hand becomes open to giving things a try but has difficulty since she doesn’t know how to dance.
And what doesn’t help is that she winds up pairing up with partners who, let’s say, aren’t willing to be patient with her slip ups. So in the end, the evening works out well enough for both Rosebuds when they fight a compatible (dance) partner in each other. Ruby helps Oscar to relax and go withthe flow while Oscar is patient with Ruby and helps her to see the joy o fdancing. Or…something along those lines.
That’s something I think would be adorable for the buds. Who knows? Maybe we might actually see Ruby make Oscar smile brighter and laugh uncontrollably for once in the show apart from his usual short chortles.
My headcanon is that Oscar is extremely self-conscious about laughing too much cause he’s a snorter—he does a cute little piggy laugh whenever you ge thim to laugh too much or even a little more than usual. The first time Ruby heard Oscar legit piggy laugh, Oscar was incredibly embarrassed about it afterwards but Ruby just found it to be the cutest thing ever. That’s it. That’s my headcanon and you can’t tell me otherwise.
Continuing on my last ask, I can see Ruby changing her outfit and style before seeing more distressing news, maybe them showcasing the news of them stealing from Argus and the grimm attack- it shows her face and her old outfit.
Her face begins to tremble from trying to suppress tears… before her expression hardens with determination. She throws on her outfit and then begins to spike up her hair. She refuses to be brought down by this. She will rise and she will live.
As you brought it up, I’m curious to know how the series is going tohandle what happened in Argus. Or rather if they would actually address it atall. From the way V6 ended, it just feels that we’re more likely to see ourheroes go to Atlas without facing any repercussions on their actions in Argus.Especially coming off of how Cordovin said she was going to cover up for them in the paperwork.
I did like your idea from Reconciliation where our heroes wounded up apprehended by the Atlesian authorithies only to receive release and a bit of parlay from Ironwood. That seemed fitting. However I think what we’re more likely to see is how the events of Argus affected the image of Atlas to therest of Remnant…again.
Afterall, what the people of Argus saw wasn’t Cordovin using the mecha to apprehend a monster (at least not at first). Nope, what they saw was Cordovin more abusing the power of the Atlas military while making boldfaced proclamations about how much the world has forgotten about the ‘awesome might of Atlas’ and to consider her actions a reminder of that.

That is what the civilians saw and I wouldn’t be surprised if that is what will be brought back to bite Atlas in the ass as another pressure Ironwood has to deal with as both the General of the Atlas Military and a member of the Atlas Council.
This actually makes me wonder something.
What if…based on how things look, all the blame for the stunt in Argus is placed on Caroline Cordovin and her forces in Argus, forcing Ironwood to recall them too back to Atlas for their immediate expulsion?
If the heroes found out that Cordovin was to be punished or worse, jailed for the stunt in Argus, do you think they would step up and take the blame in her place, revealing the truth to Ironwood? Would Ironwood even be willing to listen to them giving his mental state?
I guess I’ll conclude with this question and wait to hear your answer.

Pregame Headcanons for Shuichi, Kiibo, Rantaro and Kokichi
Thank you to the anon who requested this one!
I’m still figuring out where I stand in the great “If Danganronpa was really just a TV show VS if Tsumugi lied and everything’s real” debate.
Uhh this turned really analytical. But this is just my personal take on pregame character personalities.
These headcanons are loosely based on the characters’ first lines in the prologue, before they transformed into Ultimates.
I believe that their Ultimate Talents correspond with their true personalities and way of facing life. I think that their titles were given to them based on what they were like- only now, their traits are amplified.
Personalities twisted into extremities or vice versa.
So, if Kaede secretly liked seeing people smile prior NDRV3- regardless if she thought that everyone around her was rotten- in the killing game, this turns into a deep passion to actively try to make people smile through her talent.
I’ll try to give my best reasons for these headcanons! Sorry if it’s a little messy, but I hope you guys take something out of my rambles!
~ Mod Ouma
Rantaro Amami
His first title was Ultimate Adventurer.
It was likely that he did trust people and that he even enjoyed meeting new friends.
An adventurer is always up for new and exciting events.
Pregame Rantaro could be an adrenaline junkie.
He visits the sketchiest parts of town to hang out with friends or goes bike racing. He knows doing stuff like this was dangerous, but he thinks he can get away with it.
NDRV3-Rantaro’s goal to find his sisters leads me to believe that he greatly valued the relationships that he did have and he may have been greedy over them too. That way, whenever he faces betrayal, he’d spiral deeply into suspicion and attempt to isolate himself and escape emotional pain.
I think he wouldn’t have restricted himself from having meaningful relationships with people either. He’s the type of guy to let things happen and just witness it.
This will build a foundation for an ultimate who learned the hard way that he should always be wary.
He was a delinquent and a trouble maker, he had to learn how to get by somehow. This could account for his observant and wary nature.
Based on how distrusting he is and how desperate he appears to win the killing game, by then, I could only assume that he won the 52nd killing game by depending on very few people.
At some point, after experiencing Danganronpa-grade anime betrayals, he lost trust in everyone around him.
He looked out for himself, that’s how he earned his title as the Ultimate Survivor.
If it counts as pregame, after be won and became the SHSL Survivor, deprived himself of relationships, because that’s what always lowered most people’s chances of survival in Danganronpa.
Real life struggles and Danganronpa struggles are two types of despair. And compared to the latter, Rantaro would have more easily adapted to the former circumstances.
It’s also possible that he didn’t live in luxury.
An adventurer adapts to his environment, regardless of how dangerous it is.
Rantaro may have had financial issues. This could justify his independent and self-sustaining nature in the game.
Pregame Rantaro was an opportunist through and through who he sought any type of reward due to his rough life. This made his fall into the despair of distrust and extreme independence as a survivor more dramatic.
Kokichi Ouma
He cares a lot about his friends.
Hell, even strangers.
I like to think that in his group of friends, he took up the leader role.
Perhaps this was because everyone’s awkward or codependent on each other.
It was like a small self-fulfilling prophecy, one where he was the main character who helps everyone.
He was really attuned to what his friends are feeling and try his best to help with their moods.
Slow day in school? Why don’t we all hang out in an arcade later? Oh, maybe we all should play some Jenga? Hmm, oh! How about a game of ‘2 truths and a lie’!
He lets his friends beat him at chess, even though he could wipe them out with only a few moves.
He puts others before himself.
Oh, you heard or saw something scary?
“Do you want me to go check?”
He’s secretly an emotionally weak person, but he puts on a face because he knows his friends are the same way.
He has to be strong when no one else is. Little things like his own insecurities will only get in the way!
A lot of people will be intimidated with Kokichi because he often has an indecipherable, blank look on his face.
But then he also smiles really genuinely and can seem approachable.
He’s fond of people who stays strong in their standing. He wants to see them continue to be this way. He supports them and helps them grow as a sort of leader and #1 fan.
Which is why in the game, he pushes and prods Kaede, Shuichi, and Kaito- testing to see if any of them will falter. Trying to make sure they are who they say they are.
He’s really attached to his friends, so much so that he considers distancing himself a little. But he’s selfish enough in that regard to keep pestering them for friendship.
He also feels an almost self-righteous passion to watch over them.
This is the foundation for DICE in NDRV3.
Shuichi Saihara
He keeps his head down so much that you’ll rarely see his eyes.
But he’s actually really polite! Not so different from the SHSL detective, eh?
He likes to watch people debate and talk about morality, politics, and crime.
He doesn’t talk often, but when he does, he makes really good arguments in a conversation.
He’s like a gun with a silencer.
This is mostly because he’s not used to talking about his own interests.
And probably because he has a pretty twisted passion.
In the killing game, he’s the Ultimate Detective, before it, he was just Shuichi Saihara, a boy who liked solving difficult things.
Pregame Shuichi is basically NDVR3 Shuichi without most of his morals and with only his shy nature holding him back.
You have to know the hammer to hit the nail.
To solve a problem, is to learn how it works by trying to understand what or who caused it.
Even if he has to stoop down to their pattern of thinking. That’s his philosophy.
It’s like a self-righteous high, mentally committing a crime just so he knows how it went and how to solve it from there.
Not that he truly could, he’s no detective or judge.
His eyes become deathly bored and dull at the very thought of an easy mystery.
But that only serves to contrast how his eyes brighten at the mere mention of a true, clever mastermind to mentally challenge him.
It seems like fun and games to him, but he’s well aware that murder is a heavy crime.
That’s, ironically, also his justification for why he does what he does.
Kiibo/K1-B0
I believe he may have had a sort of hot-and-cold type of personality.
Perhaps he was struggling to develop his own identity and moral standing.
He may have been naive and socially awkward while being exposed to may different views in society- it could have confused him.
He’s very self-righteous in his beliefs, but also contradictory and changing.
One day, he’ll believe that persistently pushing support onto people is good.
Then tomorrow, he’ll believe that leaving people to grow and develop on their own would be preferable.
That’s why he’s the perfect fit as the viewer’s surrogate. And it’s why he’s a robot. He’s an ever-lasting debate of beliefs.
Pregame Kiibo may have aspired to be an optimistic and headstrong person for the sake of those who cares for him. Much like K1-B0 of the game.
He would often back down on a challenge to prove his worth as an individual.
But at the same time, he encourages others to do the same.
That’s the inspiration for his dislike for robophobia. It’s reminiscent of the type of discrimination associated with identity.
Which makes him perfect for the role of Hope.
Hope can burn bright, but it can also smother.
This is the inspiration for K1-B0’s programming towards ensuring that hope won- even if it meant sacrificing Shuichi, Maki and Himiko.
Pregame Kiibo died protecting his beliefs.
It caught the mastermin’ds attention.
NDRV3′s end theme revolved around a copy-cat crime, which means, Kiibo was picked out of other people because he’s like an epitome of the struggle of hope and despair.
Of course, Kiibo resisted.
His determination to fight despair was what hit the nail on his coffin.
He values personal integrity the most, doing the right things at the right times. For himself and for others around him.
His personality was altered into gradual extremities throughout the game, and was made into an AI.
He demonstrated what hope is. He was the embodiment of the fanbase’s conflict of interests.
And that’s being the cornerstone of despair whilst being the hope to fight against it.

Mario Headcanon # 51
Alternatively titled “Everyone is posting their headcanons on how old everyone is in the Mario-verse so I’m gonna do it too”.
This might get a big long; I’m gonna put this under a “Read More” to make your lives easier. If you make it to the end, congratulations!
So here, we go, from oldest to youngest:
Rosalina: Physically about 30, but chronologically at least 700+ years old (the girl’s been in space for CENTURIES. Plus, I headcanon that she was born some time during the Middle Ages, since her dress looks similar to some of the characteristics that some dresses during that time period possessed.)
Professor Elvin Gadd: 80 (we encounter a younger E. Gadd in “Partners in Time” and apparently he’s 20 when we meet him in the past. Younger E. Gadd then moves to Boo Woods after the events of this adventure where he researches ghosts for a good chunk of his life. “And that career spans 60 years, mind you,” he says in “Luigi’s Mansion”. 20+60=80. Yay math!)
Kamek/Kammy: 75-80 (They’ve been old enough to take care of Bowser since he was a baby, so they’ve definitely seen some shit. Shit enough to make them bitch constantly about what they’ve had to go through...and in Kamek’s case, what he continues to go through.)
Toadsworth: 65-70 (I know he’s old and walks with a cane, and his status as the Wise Old Sage definitely implies that he’s seen some shit, but since he can still play some mean baseball, he can’t be THAT old, right?)
Bowser: I’d say the equivalent of 26-28 in human years? (Well, since he was born considerably earlier than the rest of the original Star Children, and he’s speaking full sentences as a toddler, I feel like the notion shouldn’t be unusual. I also say “human years” because of how Koopas are based off of turtles and tortoises, both of which happen to live for a ridiculously long time.)
Pauline: 25-27 (I mean, when you consider the release of “Donkey Kong” compared to the release of “Super Mario Bros”, she’s been around for longer than Peach, right? It’s only fair.)
Wario: 25-27 (Wario and Waluigi aren’t brothers, so that rules out the possibility of twins. But one can still be older than the other, right? So Wario’s older. He debuted in the series first, so it makes sense. He’s also younger than Pauline by just a few months.)
Waluigi: 24-26 (Since one of his descriptions in Smash says he’s the same age as Luigi, then I’m gonna go with 24. But he’s older than Luigi by a few months.)
Mario/Luigi: 24-26 (Since that recently unearthed interview with Miyamoto had the guy say that Mario was about 24 years old, I’m going with that. Since Mario and Luigi are twins, I’m saying Luigi is 24, as well. Also, Mario is the older twin, obviously, but I’m gonna say he’s older by 7 minutes.)
Peach: 23-25 (The Mario Wiki says she’s younger than Luigi. It also says she’s much younger, but I don’t think she’s younger by SEVERAL years. “Yoshi’s Island DS” also puts her around the same age as Mario, Luigi, and Wario when they were babies, as well. Plus, she debuted in the series later than Mario, so...there you go.)
Toad: Physically looks like a little kid, but is probably 23-25, chronologically. Maybe a few months or so older than Peach. (I mean, he’s definitely got childlike features/mannerisms sometimes, but he’s still got a job working full-time as one of Peach’s most trusted servants...just one of the younger ones, because compared to someone like Toadsworth, he’s still got quite a bit of life left in him. And he works pretty damn hard at it! But he’s still quite a bit younger than his human friends.)
Toadette: Same stuff as Toad, but a year younger, so 22-24. But chronologically she’s older than Daisy. (I’m pretty sure they’re siblings? I think? I know some Prima guides said so but apparently Prima makes a lot of mistakes...but either way, I’m not taking any chances with shipping, here. Anyway, I think she’d be an adorable little sister figure to Toad.)
Daisy: 22-24 (According to the Mario Wiki, Daisy is described as being “very young”. Apparently it also says that Peach is older than Daisy, which I can believe. I always thought Daisy was the youngest out of her circle of human friends, anyway, since she’s so full of youthful energy. Then there’s the release of “Super Mario Land”, which came out way later than the debut of Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Even the first instance of Baby Daisy in “Mario Kart Wii” was way later than that of her friends as babies!)
Ludwig: 17 (I’m just gonna assume that the order of the Koopalings we first fight in “Super Mario Bros 3″ is the order of their ages. Now about Ludwig: he’s usually said to be the oldest Koopaling, right? But still younger than Mario. Additionally, he and his rowdy crew of siblings are all still kids, I’m sure. And finally, he’s supposed to be the smartest of the bunch, enough to be Bowser’s right-hand Koopa. I’m gonna go with that.)
Lemmy: 16 (DON’T KILL ME FOR THIS; I HAVE MY REASONS. I know Lemmy is hella tiny and definitely a huge prankster but he does know how to get serious when the situation calls for it. He still likes to clown around, though, so he reminds me kind of like that immature, boyish, smart-alecky teenager who likes to pull pranks all the time.)
Roy: 15. (I see Roy and immediately think about those teenage guys who try to act all manly and cool all the time. The ones who try to act all buff and stuff, ya know? And the fact that his pink shell and matching dank shades are based off of the expression “Real Men Wear Pink” only fuels that even more.)
Iggy: 14. (But like...the 14 year old who is still in middle school because of how much of an immature prankster he still is. He strikes me as the annoying nerd archetype, only with 100% more crazy. Like a lot of other 14 year olds, he needs to fucking chill. According to the Mario Wiki, he also likes to tinker with things sometimes? 14 year olds in middle school like to tinker with things a bunch, more often at times when they shouldn’t be.)
Wendy: 13. (She’s definitely reminiscent of the bratty 13 year olds we often hear about. Wendy is bitchy and catty; she wants to rat on other girls to make herself look good, namely Peach and Daisy when she calls them “posers” and “lame” in the “Rio 2016 Olympic Games”. She isn’t afraid to fight dirty and absolutely hates losing. She’s embarrassed about all 6 of her siblings sometimes. Wouldn’t any 13 year old girl feel the same about her embarrassing siblings, too?)
Morton: 12. (Morton is like the angry, moody, angsty, easily irritable tween who is trying to act like a Manly Man even though he’s still intellectually a child. Will definitely try to act all brawny for the sake of proving himself to be Manly. Sit down, Morton.)
Larry: 11. (There have been several instances where Larry has been called the youngest of the Koopalings. I guess it could justify his unchecked aggressive behavior sometimes. Plus, there’s a description of him in one of the Smash games that says he has a “serious case of little-brother syndrome”. Ouch. Then there’s that whole bit where he really admires Ludwig and he’s trying to get on his good side. I think Larry could really use a hug...)
Bowser Jr: 7-9. (He’s definitely still a kid, but definitely not as young as when we first encounter Baby Bowser, who was probably still in the early toddler phase at the time.)
#mario headcanon#aaaaaand that's it#if you made it to the end: congratulations!#you survived my longest and probably most controversial mario headcanon i ever posted on this blog!#honestly i hope nobody kills me for any of the things i said on this post...
