I’m so tired of being tired and I’m so tired of being ill, I hate that my body does this to me. I want to be normal again. I’m trying to think of the good things, my birthday is soon but I’m not ready to turn 16. I’m not ready. I can’t do that, I don’t want it to come to a close so soon. I just got happy. I can’t be doing this again. I’m sick of feeling disgusted with myself every time I get sad. I can’t keep scrubbing my hands clean multiple times a day because I got too stressed and my body doesn’t know how to cope, I’m so damn fucking tired

#i’m not. sad #i’m…….. mourning? grieving? scared?#i wish i could be a girl and i wish i could be a happy like that #i hate this weird in between state where i don’t fit in on either side #and i really hate having to hide but god i don’t want people to know #i’m scared shitless of my brain and the stupid halfway eating disorder and the paranoia and the hallucinations #i spent yesterday scratching and smacking at my skin because i kept feeling spiders that weren’t there crawl across my arms #one went from behind my ear to on top of my eye. it was awful #and the worst part is that i have to deal with all the random assorted symptoms and i can’t even get help to figure out what’s wrong with me #because how do i go to my parents (the people who are convinced that anxiety and a lack of appetite are the extent of #my mental health problems) and say ‘hi mom hi dad i hear and feel things that aren’t there and i’m paranoid nearly constantly and i have #these awful terrifying episodes where i lose my grip on reality. sorry for not telling you sooner’#i can’t do that #i just. can’t.#and my memory is getting worse and i can’t interact with my favorite genre and it just makes me want to sob my eyes out because i want to be #who i was who never had to think about this shit. i don’t want to be this fucked up disaster of a person that i am now #i’m just so tired #tw vent

#lol good luck finding all of the photoshopped versions in the rb history. ‘manatee restored’ is still my favorite of all time #misc #I encourage anyone dyslexic to try rotating him in your mind. I can’t do that; which is why I’m asking you to.#also: a bunch of tags are surprised this isn’t ‘shopped #it’s the lighting. backlit by the sun (which is diffused through the water) but also forelit artificially #the artificial light - a flash pack or something - casts a hard shadow under the creatures arm #which normally wouldn’t be possible if backlit by the SUN; you’d see a less-hard/more-fragmented shadow above water #as light sources ‘compete’ in a sense - and since there aren’t any light sources which can outshine the literal sun #it looks a bit weird when the darkest shadow is being cast from any other origin point - which is what’s essentially happening here #I don’t know the mechanics of how light travels through water; but I know the effect is substantial even with relatively short distances #also: it’s been balanced and color corrected by the author of the photo - who made deliberate choices to bring out the full potential #so it’s not like it’s a fresh and untouched export #but the kind of ‘tacked on’ appearance of the creature is a result of the lighting conditions within the image

keep seeing undergrads on social media saying “oh if a prof has a strict no-AI academic integrity policy that’s a red flag for me because that means they don’t know how to design assignments” like sorry girl but that just sounds like you’ve got a case of sour grapes about not being allowed to cheat with the plagiarism machine that doesn’t know how to evaluate sources and kills the environment! I have a strict no-AI policy because if you use AI to write your essays for a writing course it’s literally plagiarism because you didn’t write it and you’re not learning any of the things the course teaches if you just plug a prompt into the plagiarism generator that kills the environment, hope this helps!

#so many people on the internet like ‘why do I have to write my work myself why can’t I just plug it into the cheating machine’#‘why is it plagiarism to not write my own work and instead use the plagiarism machine built from scraping others’ work without consent?’#like. it is because you are not learning anything if you do not actually do the work assigned to you. hope this helps #I personally have not had AI issues because of how I structure my assignments #but it was a HUGE problem in my department last year. so we all have no-AI to write your classwork policies
