Little something for Halloween, this popped in my head, I needed it on paper.

Duncan really give his. best for his costume, he's almost look undead ? Or is he undead for real ?... Nah, but Gert sure love the look. She's into horrible monster that terrify and kill people in one go, so yeah, a Franken-Dragon-Stein is perfect for her.

She's mad a Scientist of Halloween, by the way ! It's the same as a mad scientist, but they're orange and throw candy flavored potions.

And Larry is the Joker. Obviously.

Little comeback on IHF, a certain character finally appeared in the revival. And boy, he's a big guy now.

I mean, look at him, he started as a small dragon, and he's a behemoth now, a killing machine on his own, but still overall remain the same shy/insecure guy with now anger problems. Guess he and Gertrude would completely get along (Or not).

Anyways, since we got a completely different reunion in the comics, I wanted to make a quick what if with them as if it was more of a "Oh, Hi again !" kind of meeting.  Now, they'll live happily together while destroying thing on their way, on purpose or not !

Looking forward to that next Spider Man Movie, I plan to see it soon ! In the meantime, little fan art break . Here's Spider-Gert ! She ate a radioactive spider once, and now, she is able to throw a weird thick and green spider web that sticks and hitch from her hands ! It kinda both amazing and disgusting, actually. She's not a hero, but not a bad guy either ? She's kinda... there. Throwing green web. She tend to save people by accident. Her enemie's death aren't quite accidental however, she would love to have a nemesis, but she couldn't find one that stay longer than a day. Fake Variant cover for I Hate Fairyland. I just really like what they did with the final issue for this arc, going on a full comic accompanied by an actual rock song. Guys, it's so good in concept, and I want this to happen more often. "This World" from Jack the Radio fit so well ! ( I personally think that "Own Little World" do the job, as well that every Dragonforce song too, but you got the point, it's Rock/Fantaisy themed.) And I would love to actually do some actual variant cover, but in the meantime, enjoy the fake one that would probably ends up as a poster instead ! Small, fuzzy, primal, but as dangerous as their Gertrude, here's the Gertlins ! So, basically, they're introduced in the 3rd issue of the IHF revival. They're small fuzzy Gertrude, but also really really angry little beings. I still haven't read the issue they starring in, so what are their connection with Gert are still a mystery to me, Are they connected in any ways beside the name and look ? I dunno ! (I may edit this description soon once I read it.) Until then, Funny fuzzy goblins that look like Gert and are possibly enemies ! That's all I need. It's not completely over yet, but really, holidays seems shorter and shorter... Wait, there was even an holiday, this time ? It fly too fast to be noticed. At least, that how Gertrude felt every time her little vacation start to end. She would probably enjoyed it more if she didn't complain about it all the time. "At least, I did the whole "costume" right !... I just hope they're not going to dance or anything at this party, I can't even walk normally in this." So, it's the very end of may, and there's this whole "mermay challenge" thing that I completely forgot every year, and I wanted to give it a quick shot. But I've also wanted to draw Gertrude. Oh boy, I do love compromise. And for some reason, Mermaid's blood is blue in their universe. (just the avoid to being too gory with the usual red). Did you know that Skottie Young, the guy behind IHF, also worked on several Deadpool comic ? Well, really, it shows on the special IHF episode, where the fourth wall is annihilated. Anyways, it inspired me to make this weird fusion between Gwenpool and Gertrude. After all, if she was a marvel character she could fit as this. It was super great to come back on my Empress Gertrude’s design through a commission ! It was a good way to draw her with inked lines. They didn't ask for a particular light, but I thought dark with greenish light would be a really nice touch. I'm glad of the results, I hope they'll like it too. Another for this Mar10 ! A little compilation of the Mario version of Gertrude and Duncan. Just because... you know, I love them. I'll even share some headcanons : Duncan in this universe has been raised by a peaceful Rex on Yoshi's Island. As an hommage to his adoptive parent, he constantly wear a Rex's suit, that somehow give the power to breathe fire and to fly a little bit. He encountered Gertrude during one of her travel, following Mario and Luigi at the distance. She mistakenly thought he was dressed up as Yoshi (and still has hard time to remember him as a Rex)The two kinda get along rapidly, and Gert took Duncan in many of her (unlucky) adventures. Since Gert is unable to call him anything then Duncan Yoshi, he doesn't mind being called a Yoshi by her, but wants others to remind him as a Rex, since he's unable to do Yoshi things. (Even though is forced too by Gert) Gertrude has a fascination with power up, and looked up at the Mario Bros as an inspirations. That said, she often fell weird when she had to wear one of the animal costume like the cat one. Duncan on the other hand, since he's always dressed up as one, find them kinda nice and cute. Duncan can also use power up, but he prefer that Gert is the one to use it, simply because he doesn't fell like using it correctly. She prefer to use her hammer, or other power up, like the fire one, and sometimes then raccoon leaf, even if she find weird that a tail is able to make her fly. She tried to find a reason for that, but nobody knows why it works that way. Since Duncan grow up in Yoshi's Island, his favorites desserts, besides fruits, are Yoshi's cookies. Gertrude on the other side, is an absolute fan of Ice Cream Mushroom (that, despite the name, isn't made of mushroom.) Concept art for a redesign of Gertrude as an Evil Empress, more based in her alliance with Darketh Deddeath from the comic I Hate Fairyland. It's basically what she could've have been if her reign as the ruler of Fairyland was more impactful. Since the Lord of Darkness gave her darks power and all, I thought it would be funnier if her design was more undead and with skull, more similar to her master. She's not technically "undead", but since her soul is completely consumed by Darketh's power, it gave her this apparence with a really pale, almost completely white skin, and black eyes with green glowing iris. Her favorite axe has been redecorated with skull element, once again, a little gift from Deddeath. Even though she doesn't use it as often, since her magic can destroy basically anyone in no time. In short, she's the way too OP final Boss that doesn't always have a fun fight. In this timeline, she actually managed to rule over most of Fairyland, and abandon the title of queen for "Empress." She's know by many names, including Darketh Empress, the Gruesome ruler, the one who never loose a fight or simply Gertrude. Because, well, she's still Gertrude in many ways : rude, immature, not so nice and being an evil overlord doesn't help. However, with the time spent as an empress, she's more strategic and patient. Well, although she may be still stubborn for little insignificant things. For instance, she fell in total love for skulls ornaments, and practically filled her world with it. Sometimes, it's actual skulls from former living beings. Larry is still her right hand servant. This time, he's learning dark magic to helps Gert with most of her chores. He's doing most of the busy works that Gertrude tend to neglect. Their relations mostly the same. Among her lackeys, most of them are undead armor guy, skeletons, zombies, and others necromancer including Horribella the Witch and Bart of the Blackness. Duncan is still there too, and has known Gert before her reign. He is Gertrude's precious "Dragon beast", although he's still just a boy in a dragon suit, although he's still have his fire breathing power and Flying capacity. Darketh didn't made him an overlord like Gert, simply because he's way too nice to be one. Instead, he's mainly located in Gert's fort, trying to spend his time doing various things, since Gert is too busy to let him accompany her during conquest. "So ? I let you choose the movie, just don't take three hours !" "But..there's like, two thousand movie to choose, it's hard." I'm currently experimenting on lights and shading once again, I wanted to practice with a little illustration of them. Duncan is the kind to be really careful with the movies he watch. Hesitating depending of the theme, the genre, the taste of everyone... In short, it take more time to him to choose the movie rather than watching it. And it's even more complicated for him, since the programs are way too varied. Gert doesn't really care, she just wants movie with a lot of action in it and a lots of pizzas. Larry is already asleep. He rarely watch the entire movies. Sorry by the way to post much more recently ! I'm quite busy with personals project and stuff, here's something I did in my free time.
