#I haven't made this picrews before in my life

@akchimp75 you sent me an ask a week or two ago asking about my steampunk story and I saved it until I had plenty of time to write about it and tonight I wrote up this whole big post but when I saved it to my drafts, tumblr ate it instead. So here is the rewritten version of it. (Ehehehe I hope you're ready cuz it's infodump time.)

My eldritch steampunk story is called Tenth Generation. Once upon a time on a recently terraformed planet called Arona, there lived in a steampunk civilization, a diverse people of many different species (humans, pixies, cyborgs, anthropomorphs, human-animal chimeras, etc.) and many different genders and sexualities.

There are three main story arcs to the series (of books or graphic novels):

Arona fighting for independence from the organization responsible for terraforming, colonizing, and protecting the planet and exploiting it's resources to supply a distant space war

The main characters seeking the jobs they want

Everyone trying to solve the mystery of why there's a bunch of eldritch beasts running around the dark corners of the city when no eldritch beasts were brought over on the colony ships...

The main characters are:

Tempest Shields: a 15 year old roguish genderfluid (defaults to girl) who is nonverbal autistic. She dreams of becoming an airship engineer or pilot but it isn't feasible at this time due to her disability.

Timothy Shields: an 18 year old human-canary chimera who has a burning interest in religion and the occult. His desire is to become a cleric or an exorcist. He and Tempest grew up together on the streets and in an orphanage and adopted each other as siblings.

Timber of the Skies: (age undecided) Tempest's biological sister. They were separated from each other when they were young and have led very different lives. Timber is an airship pirate and her goal is to become the Pirate Queen of the Skies. Timber isn't in the story in the beginning but comes in later; one of the main story arcs is about Timber and Tempest restoring their sibling relationship. She doesn't have autism but she does have some kind of behavioural issue.

Some side characters include:

Detective Rory Poofypants (actual last name undecided). A fully transitioned transmasc detective in the city of Stormcairn. He is investigating the strange eldritch beast sightings and the bizarre stories of hysterical people who claim that they were temporarily transported to a dark realm, the home of the monsters. Rory also ends up frequently wrangling Tempest back to their home or tutor as they get into mischief around the city.

Kestrel Wothen: the young adult enby who is fabulous and extra and loves all things shiny and colorful. They spend all their money to buy an old mansion which (once the gang puts the resident ghosts to rest) serves as the home base of the crew as they investigate the eldritch mystery of the city.

Zakiyah Lee: a rich and beautiful aroace young adult. She's as sharp as a whip and fascinated by all things dark. By day, she's a student at the university, and by night, an amateur detective. Slowed only by her dysautonomia, she eventually leads the revolution against the Exploration World and (spoilers) eventually becomes Queen of the World. (Her cat's name is Bastet and there's more to her than it seems.)

Unnamed Pixie girl (possibly not a girl) age 14. She is a street urchin and becomes good friends with Tempest and helps her get into mischief. She has alopecia and sometimes chooses to wear a headscarf and other times doesn't wear any sort of head covering. Her wings get stolen by an eldritch beast, but Timothy rescues the wings and returns them to her.

Tempest's unhinged tutor. She lost her last tutoring gig because her pupil got eaten by a tiger (no fault of her own). She is middle aged and actually has red hair but the picrew didn't have a red hair option. Is mainly concerned (at least initially) with helping Tempest learn to communicate better through a combo of sign language and AAC.

And last but not least, Dominic. He's a 12 or 13 year old boy and he's got magic hands. He's a child prodigy and the only known wielder of backwards magic AKA eldritch magic. A rich benefactor (not in this list) sponsors him and supplies his every need on the condition that he continues to practice and grow his magical ability so that it can be monetized. Dominic becomes good friends with Tempest and Pixie girl. His older brother is Kestrel's boyfriend.

Funny thing is that I got to see it in person may 2 or 3 years after seeing it in a high school text book & having to do essays on it. It was by complete accident & I had no idea see was displaying her work in our national art gallery. It was magic to see a piece irl after studying it 🥰

WIP Wednesday

Hi, hello. I haven't been active in a while. Truth is that I'm in my exam session, and a lot is happening in real life and I'm overwhelmed. However, @bostoniangirl21 tagged me last week and sharing my love for writing with you guys always puts me in a better mood! So here is a little snippet of Chapter 3 of 'Hymn of the High Seas' that I managed to write while I was still on vacation! Also, @sheirukitriesfandom tagged me to make some ocs with this picrew, and I'm using this post as a combo😆. Thank you guys so much for the tags, they really make my day <3 <3

“IT’S HER! THE ONE WHO ESCAPED FROM STROS M’QAI! SHE FITS THE DESCRIPTION!” someone shouts, catching Signe’s attention and sending her mind spiraling into madness with fear, desperation and guilt of dragging Rhaim with her into this doom. Several Thalmor surround them, far too many to fight, even as a team. Signe’s letting herself get distracted, feeling almost paralyzed with fear. ‘Not them. I’ve dragged my crew into peril before we even set sail.’ she thinks, but her thought bubble is violently popped by arms capturing her, making her drop her scimitar to the ground. 

“WE’VE CAUGHT THE DISGUSTING WORM!” A Thalmor shouts right by her ear, so hard that it’s now ringing. “You’re ours now, disgusting, filthy Nord! TAKE THE REST OF THEM ALONG! More practice dummies for our torture adepts-” is all he gets to day before his head gets cut off, falling to the ground with a haunting thud, rolling somewhere away. The others have little time to react because blades cleave through them like a reaper's scythe through a field of fragile blossoms, leaving behind a trail of blood and death. Thalmor bodies start falling around them, setting them free, and in the end, a cloaked figure stands with two katanas unseathed and arms open. The cloak is not like the rest of the thieves', signaling that whoever this is, is not with the Guild. Like fine silk, black robes fall on broad shoulders. The figure raises his head, showing a glimpse of fair skin and pale, pink lips.

“They’re looking for you. Why?” he asks, voice deep and an accent that Signe’s never heard before.

“We escaped Stros M’qai.” She says, panting, and the man finally lifts his gaze, piercing grey eyes looking at her from under a fringe of fine ebony hair.

“Wasn’t hearing things after all.” he huffs, the faintest hint of a smile gracing his lips. “Come with me. All of you.” he says swiftly, and starts moving through the crowd.

The crew exchange glances, silent agreements quickly passing by each and every one of them, and Signe starts catching up to their mysterious saviour.

Hmmmm, who could this mysterious saviour be? A new oc that I'm obsessed with, of course! He's Akaviri, and his name is Renjiro. Unfortunately, he's only going to be a secondary character in HOTHS, but he will appear more times throughout the fic!

And for the picrew, I chose to make him!! Look at my boy!

I have another oc that I made with this picrew, which is Edward!! He will be a crew member, and he's a sad blond blorbo (I have to have at least one sad blond blorbo in each project of mine apparently). Also, the hand that cups his face? It's a certain crewmate :D!

So. I made an RTC swap au!!

It started just with an idea of John Doe!Ricky that I had for a pretty long time, but recently I decided to turn it into something cooler, so I made this whole thing. Maybe I'll sketch their designs later (or at least make picrews of them), but idk how much time it will take. I haven't change some things, like the relationships between some characters, because I thought it wouldn't work very well. But, this isn't fully finished yet, so there's some moments that may be changed in the future.

I imagine this AU more like a play, than a musical and honestly I really don't think that it'll become something serious, cause I'm not that good at writing and creating full stories, so, at least at the moment, it's just for fun. Also, the designs are based on the 2016 cast, but feel free to make your own interpretations with your favorite cast. And maybe someday I'll make them too, we'll see. Anyway, hope y'all enjoy it!! (Pls excuse me if there are any mistakes, english isn't my first language, blah blah blah. Also there are a lot of spoilers for rtc, so if you plan to watch it — don't read further!)

So, first is Penny — the most imaginative girl in town. She's super silly, sometimes awkward and doesn't really have any friends because most people think she's weird. Penny often gets left out or bullied, and she uses escapism to cope with this + all the stuff with her parents, who she didn't get enough love from. Her fantasies is a bit different from the original Ricky's: they don't have a lore, she just makes up random stories to escape from reality and writes them out sometimes. She *definetely* writes fanfiction and probably posts it online. For some reason people find it cool, but no one in the choir knows about it. She's still a Seven-Up fan and she plays the ukulele (that will be used in the new birthday song for Ricky)

I changed her design just a bit, now she wears a lot of accessories, mostly pins (bc I headcanon the og Ricky having them) and it's mostly based on Emily Rohm's Penny, while her personality is more like legoland Penny's.

The next is Ocean — the angriest girl in town. Like the og Mischa, she hates her parents (but in this case they aren't adoptive) and their lifestyle, but instead of becoming the most succesful to prove that she's different from them, this Ocean just becomes a total mess and starts hating everyone. Idk if I will make her like shitty rap about money in autotune, but she definetely has a history of stealing stuff from stores, lol.

Design changes: messy hair; she doesn't have a headband and a tie, her shirt isn't fully buttoned up. She wears a sweater vest over it with a short skirt (a dress, actually).

Then we have Constance — the most succesful girl in town. She's a big nerd and spends a lot of her time studying because she wants to be the best. In general she behaves just like original Ocean and treats Noel like Ocean would treat her in the og musical (they're besties, but not really). She's pretty mean and very ambitious. This Constance doesn't have as much love for her town as the og one and she plans to move out (and become a premier minister of Canada, maybe :p) She's the one to make the final vote in this AU and of course she will choose John Doe/Ricky.

I haven't change a lot of things in the design, but her hair isn't dyed anymore, buns are down, she has a tie and maybe some hairpins. In general she looks a bit more tidy

Next one: Noel — the nicest boy in town. A complete opposite to the og Noel, he doesn't want to change anything in his life and enjoys living in Uranium. He's still super homosexual and has a big crush on Mischa, and, as I've said before he's "best friends" with Constance who treats him like shit and makes jokes about how he's never gonna breed👍🏻 /ref

He's really insecure about himself, but very friendly with everyone else (especially Mischa). He still enjoys all the french stuff, but you know, in a less... horny... way. And his mother is a baker and Noel often helps her in their cafe

He now has a short-sleeved shirt, round glasses and half of his hair is purple (it's also a bit more messy). In general I didn't change a lot in his design, but I made him such an UwU softie boy /j

Then, Mischa — the most romantic boy in town (ah yes, this one is for you, Mischa simps). He's still in love with Talia and his backstory is the same, but instead of becoming an angry rapper, he became a sad romantic guy, who dreams about moving to Ukraine with his (probably non-existing) internet fiancé. He just wants to be happy :(

Design changes: his clothes and hair aren't that messy anymore and he has a black jacket (like the one chance theatre Noel had). Also his nails are usually black or any other dark shade!!

And! Finally! My best creation yet — John Doe!Ricky. Perhaps, the rest of the choir doesn't remember him (well, in fact they do remember him, but it's a different theory and I don't want to bring it here) because he couldn't talk and no one really noticed him. The only person he was pretty close with was Penny, but still, they weren't even friends, they just standed close to each other while the choir was performing and both sat in the back of a rollercoaster when the accident happened. There will be a role-swapped version of the Savannah scene, but I don't know what name should I use instead of Savannah yet (if you have any ideas, please drop them in the comments!! I'll be very grateful)

When he gets choosen by Constance he'll came back to life as Ricky and yes, he WILL remain disabled because I'm a very big Ricky fan + a very big ableism hater, don't expect that shit from me👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Also he will still have 14 cats because. Why not. I love cats.

The only thing that will change is the fact that he's a little happier now?? People around him treat him better and he doesn't have to fantasize about fucking cat-people from Zolar to be happy lol. Oh man I'm writing a bit too much about him sorry I just love this guy a lot. Bless his little heart

Okay, so he has a head stolen from some super swag dressed in a Bowie-like style doll that for some reason was in the warehouse. He has a big purple star around one of his eyes and some parts of his hair are also colorful (purple/blue/pink). His clothes isn't very different, but maybe I'll add some more accesories

Name: Dan Denham

Pronouns: They/Them

Appearance: Pink hair (often tied back in a ponytail), green eyes, freckles, nervous twitchy grin, tall with long-fingered slender hands.

Dan is another oc who was originally created for a fake podcast made by another one of my ocs in an RP server who I ended up making into an actual oc. Poor guy got an upgrade.

Dan in the podcast universe is one of three postgrad students who winds up in the forest realm of Alterwald after their vehicle crashed early on during their final roadtrip vacation together as a group before they part ways. They start out extremely nervous and honestly cowardly, but throughout their travels through the Alterwald they discover they have an innate stubbornness and refusal to leave anyone behind that leads to them becoming closest to their guide, Warden, a wandering vagabond who navigates the Alterwald expertly and assists the trio in their adventures. Dan actually saves his life, and becomes his travelling companion. At the end of the podcast, they choose to stay with him and the fey and unpredictable river ghoul Fen, and the three form a poly relationship.

Dan also exists in Netherbound (original fiction RP) and Angelverse (original fiction RP). In Netherbound, Dan is a voidsoul (an incarnation of a person who died); they died in a car crash caused by their friend Fawkes, whom Dan had a toxic and unhealthily codependent relationship with, driving them home from a party while intoxicated and against Dan's weak protests. Fawkes died instantly, but Dan took several days to fully pass on and suffered a lot before entering the Nether. This has led to them being incredibly nervous and slow to trust. They've once again taken up travelling with Warden, and have a developing crush on him they haven't confessed.

In Angelverse, Dan survived the car crash that killed Fawkes, however they left her to die when they realized that she was still alive, an intentional choice that is quite literally haunting them, as Fawkes was 'saved' by a demon who restored her in exchange for being allowed to possess and puppet her body. The demon now stalks and torments Dan, who cannot tell anyone their secret for fear of being judged and/or legally charged for their actions. They've formed a tentative relationship with Warden and Fen in this universe too, and spend a lot of time at Fen's bar.

Dan is an extremely anxious, neurotic and shy person, however if pushed they display a remarkable aptitude for stubbornness, and a willingness to make difficult decisions that other people would flinch at. They have a capacity for both incredible selflessness and bravery, and extreme selfishness and callousness. They prefer to avoid conflict to the point of creating miscommunication and toxic codependency and/or enablement in their relationships because they're unwilling to call out the people they care about when they disagree with their behavior, though they grow out of this as they start to realize how detrimental it is to everyone around them and themself.

Sadly, I haven't been able to draw for a while now due to health reasons, and it might be a while longer before I can again. (Don't worry, it's nothing serious.) A friend of mine offered to draw the oldest three King girls for me though, which is super sweet of her.

I have made picrews of some of the family members to serve as a general idea to work from when I do eventually draw them. It's what I did before drawing Alice's concept sheet too. I find picrews to a good place to consider character appearance in broad strokes.

I'll share some of those picrews with you all if you're curious about my current general ideas. Remember, their designs (and some of their names) aren't completely set in stone yet, as I still need to draw them when I can. This just helps me better get a picture in my mind of what they look like.

As a heads up, each individual picrew can be pretty limited in its options. Sometimes skin tone, eye color, hair type, etc. just won't match with the look I'm going for. These are just the picrews that come closest to what I have in mind right now.

First up is Mama King, who I'm considering naming Lycoris or Lily.

Soft, sweet, cuddly, short of stature but big of heart, Mama King absolutely loves her family more than anything else in the world. There's nothing she won't do to protect them and what they love.

Mama King is not only a great mother, but she's also fantastic at growing plants and has won many awards over the years. This is what led to a pretty good business online selling flowers that have been made into charming jewelry and other forms of art by her creative and loving spouse.

The family home has a decent sized plot of land to allow Mama to grow as many plants as she likes. Her gardens are truly a sight to behold, and her one of a kind flowers are to die for.

As you might have guessed, Alice has gotten a few features from her mom, such as her height, curly hair, and her wonderfully soft and cuddly hugs. The coloration, however, was something she inherited from her Papa.

I'm still trying to decide on Papa King's name, but I've got a pretty solid idea of what he looks like. Tall, slender, and pale, this proud papa stands out in a crowd, though sometimes under some shade with sunscreen and shades on if it's someplace out in the sunlight. Sadly, being albino means you're more prone to sunburns, and his eyes are more sensitive than most. The picrew can't really give what I have in mind justice, but their eyes are a mixture of pale blue and red due to the lack of pigment.

Papa King is a sensitive soul who loves creating stylish trinkets and jewelry. He struggles with conflict, so their wife is his knight in shining armor much of the time, and that's one of the reasons why they fell in love with her. He also loves their wonderful children, as well as all the cats and dogs the family own. Though quite the homebody, his life is very full with such a busy house and their creative projects, as well as running the business he owns with their wife.

The oldest child of the King family probably doesn't really need an introduction. I mean, I drew Alice and mentioned her on this tumblr plenty of times before. Still, it feels sad to leave her out, so here's a picrew of her and Jack holding hands and dressed for a date.

Eventually I'll make a post with the picrews that I used to help me make Alice's concept sheet, but that's for another time. Now onto the next child in this big, happy family.

The second oldest was named Barbara Anne, but you'd be forgiven for not knowing that, as everyone calls her Barbie, with her siblings sometimes just calling her Bar. (Alice was the one who first started using that particular nickname when they were very little and it just stuck around.)

Barbie is practically the opposite of her sweet and doting parents. She's a prickly, snarky, and sarcastic misanthrope who prefers animals and 2D characters to humans. Her personality and large stature are usually enough to ward people off. She's taken after her dad with her height and her mom with having a larger frame. Though she's a nerdy otaku, if she hits you, it's going to hurt.

Barbie isn't shy to let people know to back off and leave her alone, quick to deliver barbs and tease others mercilessly if they don't buzz off. Still, like any true tsundere, get past her prickly exterior and there's a softer side that's full of genuine love and affection waiting underneath. The only people she cares about currently are her family and the few friends she made online... and eventually a suitor who is going to need to be a good boy and heel at her command if he wants a chance of making puppies with her.

The most striking thing about Barbie is her eyes. She has central heterochromia, which means both of her eyes are a mixture of brown and blue, not unlike how Papa King's are a mixture of red and blue. She practically lives in t-shirts and sweatpants, which often are themed around anime and games she likes, or offensive snark. Her hair is always a mess, and she keeps it cropped short most of the time so that she doesn't have to bother with it.

Barbie is good with computers and isn't above a little hacking or trolling. Though she's moved out of the King house, she's doing just fine in her own apartment, making money by scamming crypto scammers and the like, among other more legitimate and actually legal jobs.

Don't tell anyone about her secret double life as a streamer with a cutesy anime waifu virtual avatar. She'll make your life hell if you do.

Next up is Coraline. I already made a post talking about her and showing off a few of her picrews, so I'll just lightly touch on what I have in mind for her design. She's average height (making her a little taller than big sis Alice), with brown eyes, looks very sickly, and while most of her very curly hair is brown, it lacks some pigment in places. She still lives at home due to her health, and every morning Mama braids her hair up nice and neat, only for it to eventually come increasingly undone and messy by the end of the day. She favors comfortable clothes like sweaters and sweatpants.

The most signature piece of Coraline's look is her pendant. I've actually mentioned the pendant before in a previous post... or at least Alice's version of the pendant and the fact that each King child got one when they were born.

Mama King proposed to Papa with a bouquet of blue roses that she grew specially for them . Blue roses are said to be an impossible flower naturally, very rare, and growing them was her way of showing that she loved him enough to do the impossible for them. Papa preserved each one of the flowers in resin and whenever they're expecting a child, he crafts one into a custom necklace for the child, which is engraved with the baby's name and the date of their birth after they're born.

As an aside, if one of the kids ever wanted to change their name for whatever reason, Papa would be more than happy to alter the inscription to their new name.

The rest of the kids are vague as of the moment, but I know there are at least 4 more of them. They'll be fleshed out eventually over time, along with the pets and any other details about this happy family.

Nervous posting this but after trying to replicate how Versyn looks in canon, I decided to just. Remake him entirely, like Kayla( though I did not know she was a mom in canon whoops-)

This is Redux Versyn. He's getting a new name I just haven't figured it out yet. Unlike in canon I'm thinking he was gifted Diancie. Like Kayla it's such a drastic difference from his canon design. But I think he actually looks regal here so. Yeah.

And Redux Versyn's right hand man, chosen by Keldeo. Again, no name just yet. I didn't realize until after making him he shares similar blue hair to Taen ( though taen is much more pale). I don't think they're related, but it does cause an interesting parallel between the two.

Also!!!!! I finally found a picrew for the meloetta chosen one!!!!

Here she is <3 Much like everyone else, no name just yet. She was a jazz singer and dancer from the 1920's and Zenith's old rival. She managed to kill him with the exchange of his life, but unfortunately, Zenith made a deal with the devil ( Nyx) and was not only able to come back to life but also become effectively immortal.

Gosh I didn't even supply context: In my rewrite, the timeless are not just the canon characters + Versyn + the self insert that canon Insurgence had. Rather it's a group of past chosen ones, all who have died and their soul has reached the crystal caves, in which they rest until they are needed once more. So all of these are guys? Dead. They are pretty much spirits in the crystal cave. I plan on hopefully giving Yancy and Nora a training arc in there- possibly for their final siege against Nyx. Hopefully, I still have to plan out everything else before that.

Shuichi's frends are a group of fives others, they're internet friends (with a groupchat named "Psychologically Ill Mosh Pit") who pretty regularly chat/videocall with one another- and while they haven't met irl yet, they do plan to.

they became a group by being on the same side of the internet like- a few years before Shuichi joined HPA. they know he's an ultimate but simply do not care, he does share the chaos of hpa with them tho in the form of stories.

So like. I make OCs. Lots of them. I'm sitting at 31 atm after the most recent one. Starting to wonder if they're actually alters of a sort? Because they tend to rattle around in my head doing their own thing without me telling them to. Some of them are kinda Just There and just sit and watch without engaging. I feel like I don't make their backstories and personalities and stuff so much as they tell me. I get some kind of Inspiration and they just come to life and before they even start talking they're pointing me toward the kind of names they might want and picrews I can use to give them a face and I actually draw some of them when I can't find an adequate picrew to use, and over time they start telling me about themselves. I've tried to make them entirely myself, but they usually find some of it incorrect and will correct it. There's one I've had for about a decade, who apparently has a really tragic past that he acknowledges does not excuse his frankly rotten behavior but he just started telling me about it in the last few years, and also correcting some misconceptions I had about him. He's definitely interesting and has made me confront some internalized ableism I used to have that I thankfully no longer carry.

I feel like they're not exactly Mine as in they Belong To Me but they're Parts Of Me. Some of them are pretty dark parts of me that seem safer and more stable contained in the form of a being with a name, even if they only exist in my head. I'm not lonely even if I'm by myself because I have them.

I do rp with many of them, though I haven't gotten around to it with all of them yet. When I rp with them they tend to dictate their own actions and all I do is type what they want me to type and sometimes give them suggestions. Three of them(the only three humans lol) actually came to exist via a tabletop rpg I play, and when I play as them, it's like I'm co fronting with them? Idk they speak for themselves in their own accents and speech patterns, even though the accents aren't perfect due to my mouth not having the muscle memory to form words exactly the same as they do inside my head.

Idk I just wanted to share this with you and get an opinion if you have one about this kind of thing ❤️

Honestly, I think this sort of thing is not super uncommon for a lot of plural people! I think it's really cool and I do relate to it with the way some of my OCs feel these days tbh 💜

Paris, because I took myself there for three weeks as I was breaking up with a terrible ex, amid a complete collapse of everything, and it was the first time I left the country, first time in my entire life I wasn't scraping by, and I did it alone, on my own, and just read and walked the entire time. I became friends with the local orange seller by the apartment I stayed, got asked out at the Louvre by a chef from Argentina while I drew an old man who was drawing a painting who I later spoke to in broken French (and he clasped my hand and cheered me on), made a friend at a bookstore who was writing her masters thesis on the same author I wrote my undergrad thesis on and we ended up having lunch and she gave me some of her old books, and also started talking with another solo traveler from South Korea who's a brilliant artist and musician at Musée de l'Orangerie and we wandered around and then met up for lunch the next day and are still in touch.

Some facts about Eva now that I mentioned her

She pretty much owns Join Avenue, since it was sprung onto her when she was 15. It was one of the many things that she balanced in her busy life post b2w2, and she actually handled it really well! She later passed it onto someone I haven't fully decided yet so she can focus on her passions.

I think she's the only one of my protagonists to get a higher education. She pretty much went back to school and later went to college as part-time student, since she was a champion AND a business owner ( before she gave it up) AND when she started dating Elliot. She has an engineering degree (maybe mechanical engineering would be more specific).

Her time as champion pretty much ends when Hugh beats her in battle. Despite being the younger of the two she definitely teared up when her best friend won the battle. She was so proud.

She wasn't an immediate Chosen. Not at first. When she was near the plasma frigate she always felt something....off. Something silently pleaded to her. But as soon as it started it would stop immediately. It wasn't until she finally sees Kyurem where it all clicks together. But the fear she has was resounding. Between having experienced an entire town get frozen over, seeing people just get frozen, and soon have thousands of icicle spears pointed at her, in a clear attempt to kill her- yeah. To say she feared Kyurem was an understatement. But she got Chosen anyway.

Kyurem didn't want a Chosen, truth being told. They simply wanted to be left alone in their cave away from everyone and put the terrible experience that was b2w2 behind them. But then they started to think. What if it happens again? Who would be there to protect them? This train of logic resulted in them concluding that they need a Chosen out of necessity, not out of fate or whatever the fuck the other Legendaries talk about to make themselves seem all important. And so they choose the person who freed them in the first place; Eva.

Eva felt very cold that day.

Despite starting off very very distant, Eva actually manages to push past her fear and wiggle her way into Kyurem's icey heart. It takes. A lot for them to get to that point however. Willingly or not, Kyurem has caused a lot of trauma for the poor girl, and wasn't exactly the friendliest, so it was very hard to even connect. Many times Eva wanted to beg for them to let her go out of fear but also wanted to stay and give Kyurem some comfort, since they too have been through a lot.

The main thing that drove them together was the Plasma Frigate. Well. Former Plasma Frigate. Eva actually ended up taking it over and redesigning it to her liking. Yes. The whole goddamn ship. A place of trauma for both Eva and Kyurem. Tearing it down and building it back up into something better was very cathartic for the both of them. They even made a new friend ( Genesect ). It was here where the two started to actually bond more. Kyurem is still Kyurem, cold and distant, but they are a tiny bit kinder to Eva. Their siblings ( Zekrom and Reshiram) tease them about how they are growing soft. Melting. The pair shut up when after a good cold glare.....it's. It's really good to speak to them again.

Now going back to Eva, as I mentioned she pretty much renovated the entire Team Plasma Frigate ship to her own liking. This redesign ended up also being a base of sorts for the other Chosens. To say Eva isn't a vital member of the team is blasphemous. She literally makes their weaponry ( when she's allowed to).

She's married to Elliot <3. This happened sometime after swsh, a few years I think. It's very ironic in a sense. The Chosen of Reshiram and the Chosen of Kyurem getting married. Fire and Ice but not really. It's funny, they all have a laugh about it.

In terms of visuals, since I haven't made a picrew of Eva in so long, she had brown skin with vitiligo and blue eyes that she got from her mom. Her hair is a warm darkish brown. It varies in texture all the time, since I always see her changing up her hair every now and again. I think it's naturally curly, but she's seen wearing it wavy or simply wearing a wig.

She's also freaking tall. She's one of the taller ocs I have next to Jin and Jude. Maybe Kiran, but idk.

Her relationship with Colress is complicated. She was always interested in machinery and science stuff but Colress was the one that really pushed it into high gear. She admitted him greatly after the first few times they have met. Then the truth was revealed and she never felt so betrayed and hurt. Maybe the signs were always there. Colress never really hid the fact that he was affiliated with Team Plasma- it was a matter of no one asking. And while Eva ultimately swayed his thesis, so to speak, she couldn't exactly look at him the same way. Not after everything he's done. What bothered her more was how nonchalant Colress was towards her reaction. He merely shrugged, saying he expected such, it usually goes this way. He tells her that he doesn't hate her. Rather he admires her young intelligence and vigor and hopes she puts it to good use. She finds the words very insulting. ( And yet, she follows his words exactly)

I haven't exactly thought out if Eva and Colress ever really repairs their relationship. If not then that's fine. If they do then that's fine too. But I'm not sure which direction to take.

Also I think it would be cute and sad if young Eva thought Colress would have been perfect for her dad. She was already hatching a plan until everything just goes to shit. It's fine really. She likes Emmet more as her other dad better anyway.

And yeah. I could go into her dynamic with more characters but that's all I want to share for now. I hope you like Evangeline Ortiz!

Hello, I'm once again asking you about your OCs because I'm curious! I hope that's okay? Who are Iphi and Jack? I love the first one's name. And if I remember right Jack is aro? That's neat, I haven't really seen a lot of aro characters before! /pos

But it is rant time!! Imma start with Iphi! Because I kinda need to explain her to give context for Jack’s lore. 

So Iphi is the god of sacrifice in this little fantasy world I made, Kunyang! She’s a pretty old god, a couple of thousand years old, but she’s still the second youngest one lol.

In Kunyang, gods are born when they sprout from the seeds of the god tree. The god tree is in the divine realm, which is a different realm entirely from the physical realm, but very rarely, a god seed can arrive in the physical realm.

Anyways, this seed fell into the hands of a very magically powerful person. They had magic potential that could honestly rival a god- and yeah, they believed they were destined for great things because of it. So, they were determined to be the person who caused the god seed to sprout.

So in Kunyang, there was once this library called the Archives, run by the god of knowledge himself, Ephius. This person went to Ephius, and they were told that the seed was for the god of sacrifice. Ephius told the person that to sprout a god seed, they’d need sacrifices from thousands of people. This person wanted to do it, all by themself.

And so, they sacrificed everything. Family, friends, fortune, and fame. All gone, in the hopes of making a legacy. The seed did not sprout, because it wasn’t enough. So this person decided that they would need to make a very big sacrifice, one big enough to make the seed sprout.

They decided to banish the Archives from the physical realm into the divine realm, sacrificing humanity’s access to the library of all knowledge. And that was indeed a big enough sacrifice to give birth to a new god!

And that’s how Iphi was created. But the thing is- that’s really not how you’re supposed to create a god. So she was kind of corrupted from birth. This corruption prevented her from having a lot of character traits that one might consider important to being human.

Iphi does not feel happiness, or satisfaction. No sorrow or regret. Nothing of that sort. But she is working towards a goal: and that is creating a legacy. Having an effect on the world. (Her only contributor to her creation imprinted heavily on her.)

And because of that, she is very active in all manners of sacrifice. Every day, she’s constantly getting people to make sacrifices to her, amassing followers in many different lands. This also increases her powers heavily.

The way her powers work, they’re kinda like payment based. She gets someone to sacrifice something for her, and she can create something else of equal value to that something. (The more important that something was to the person who sacrificed it, the more she can create and do.) Like, she could make a giant wall of fire, or acid rain, or bury a country in gold if she had enough magic. Which she absolutely does. But she mostly saves the magic potential she receives for later.

And also, Iphi doesn’t truly care about anything other than making a mark on the world. She doesn’t mind if people die or suffer because her sacrifices took something too important- if anything, she wants to do that, because it’s quite a way of making your mark on the world.

Oh, and I gotta add- she can’t do this all without a little help! And that’s where Jack comes in.

They’re also a couple thousand years old, but quite younger than Iphi. So they used to be a court jester. Mortal and everything. They should have had a life of a normal length, be just another person in the world, but then they fell in love with Iphi.

And yeah they’re aromantic! It’s not romantic love, it’s alterous love. But yeah they felt a deep emotional attraction, and they wanted to be in a relationship (not a romantic or platonic one though). Anyways, Iphi doesn’t feel the same way. She doesn’t love Jack. But she thought it was convenient to have someone in love with her, and to keep them around, so she offered Jack a sacrifice.

She’d give them eternity, and they would be her servant.

Jack honestly didn’t want to do that at first, but then they had a near-death experience, and agreed to her terms.

So Iphi took their physical body, and also their independence.

Because it would be inconvenient if her servant got bored or wanted to take back the sacrifice. So Jack quite literally cannot think unless she wills it. They’re barely conscious until Iphi needs them, and only then can they think again.

Jack isn’t even aware this happens. To them, it feels like they just woke up, or they just simply forgot what happened during that time

Iphi also messed with Jack’s mind a bit, to amplify their devotion. And yeah, Jack is completely, utterly devoted to her. They would die for her, they’d be tortured for her, they would kill for her too. Nothing is off the table. They’d do anything she says. And they truly love her.

Jack mostly stays in the divine realm, usually, until Iphi sends them to the physical realm to do something for her. That something is usually extorting people to get more sacrifices. Jack pretty much curses people, and then offers to remove that curse in exchange for a sacrifice. (That’s how Janessa got cursed, actually [have I talked about her?] but Jack forgot they cursed her lmao.)

My Tmnt Oc: June (aka, i wanna ramble)

So, i just realized, this is tumblr and nothing is stopping me from yelling into the void about my and how much i love her and how much i love the turtles.

Now in order to not make this post a super long wall post like the "do you like the color of the sky" post, will put the line thing to make this part small and bite sized. you can skip if you want and not read that is fine, this is mainly so i can ramble about her and all the lore i thought of her. i will be ordering this post in order of when the different series came out and i will be sticking with the main four

which are as follows: 1987, 2003, 2012, and rise

these are my main focus since i've seen each and i feel comfortable molding June to each. i haven't seen the new movie yet but i don't think she'd work, same goes for other versions like the 2014 movies and that one batman movie (i wanna watch it so fucking bad)

with that covered, the read more line

so before i start i would like to give some background on who/june is, for starters she is a robot and not an actual human. in the lore for '87, '03, and '12 she is created and referred to as the Juniper or Jupiter project (for '87) thus the name June, for Rise it's different as she is actually made as a child for a big Dragon milf and her lil nerd husband; still made in a lab but she's more organic made as she is they're baby.

another thing i would like to state is that June originally a self insert for my persona Jam (this also why the J names) but i liked her enough to make her, her own oc. as well originally she was going to be giving Mikey kisses across the bored but then i thought "well i love all of them, and there are four of em, and i'm making four versions of the oc. so no one is really gonna stope me" and this each june is with a different brother so they all can get some kisses

a constant for all June is that they are all some type of robot/cybernetic

now let's start diving into each June!

June (1987): The Big Sister

Full name: June Lynn

So June for 1987 i thought it would be cute if she was like another older sister for the turtle (Since April also takes an older sister role) so she is shipped with Leo as he is the oldest brother. seeing as i am rather young i haven't watched that much of the 1987 series but i have developed her a little bit

she would be very protective of not only leo but the others as well, when it comes to inspiration for how i would want her robot form to look, i thought a more Transformers like look would fit since they came out around the same time (i'm also just a huge fan of Transformers)

when it comes to how she met the turtles, i imagine she helped them from a few mousers.

June (2003): The Material Girl

Full name: June Splinterdottir

Ah 2003, the year i popped out. obviously i hold this series is very close seeing as we grew up together. so when it comes to lore and development for June this version has the most meat on it's bone.

For 03 June, the turtles actually found her abandoned in an old decaying lab left there to rot and slowly die. that was until they saved her, she grew up with them seeing as she didn't have a home or family of her own. and slowly through the years she got closer to Donatello, seeing as he was the smartest of the family and she is a super charged weapon. until they ended up confessing and soon dating.

April and Casey help teach her about more humans things with Casey taking on an older brother like figure in her life and April acting as more of a teacher.

for her more robot form i though something more interesting would fit her, so her more robot form is/will be based on the xenomorphs from Alien (because i thought it would fit 2003's more gritter look)

for her drawings i actually have a good few, but she has changed through my development of her, there are a few drawings i wanna redraw and change to fit her current lore

the first few drawings are her in the lab, 1 with edits and 1 unedited, Mikey finding her (again pre-kissing donnie era), and her taking a nap while they drive her to the base, a drawing of her in the 2003 style (did my best), plus a picrew edited and unedited /w link, and some height charts.

June (2012): The Baby

Full Name: June Lyn

2012, the baby, the lil guys, and the one i've thought of most second to 2003. she is the youngest i think of all of the variations. now her lore is similar to 2003 except instead of being left to rot, she caused a black out in the lab she was held in and managed to escape making a fake identity for herself so now he's lived a bit in fear they'll find her and force her back.

This june in lore was made less as a weapon and more as a tool, she is power source that is greater then the sun. so she was used to power things in the lab, but she isn't defenseless as she can assimilate organic and non organic matter into her body (i.e: if she grabs a gun she can use it to make her arm a bigger gun)

when it comes to her robot form, i've decided (with the help of my friend) that i wanna use My life as a teenage robot for inspo, She also kisses mikey as i feel like he really needs someone who's on the same page as him. like they are so mean to him he is just a lil guy, he needs a hug hella bad

when it comes to art, i actually don't have too much i'm pleased with. since 2012 is 3D and i don't really wanna try my hand at 3d modelling, so trying to draw in style is not really an option so if i drew her i'll just do it in my own style. what i do have is a picrew of what i'd imagine she'd look like older and the height charts

June (Rise): The Working Girl

Full Name: June Harper-Lyn

Rise, the series i did hella dirty and feel so bad for missing but i'm making up my crime.

now this June is a bit more unique as she actually has parents, her Father is a micro scientist and micro biologist, and her mom is a big yokai dragon (She's a kaiju, because godzilla is cool) So this June is half robot, half human and half yokai, she works with her parents in the diner they own called the "Dragon bite diner" with her mom being the main cook and her dad running as mechanic of the building. the diner itself is suppose to be an place for humans, yokais and mutant to feel safe and have a nice home cooked style meal, they cater to a variety of tastes and it's a conflicted free zone (It's helps when the owner is a huge dragon)

her robot form is more simple, as it's just a more dragon style robot, and of course she is with Raph. big man needs his kisses too, plus he just needs a break from being the eldest sibling and get cuddled up with.

sadly, i don't know what picrew i used to make her. and trust me i looked through 100 pages on picrew, so if anyone could find it that would be nice as i'm a little worried it may have been deleted. i also have a drawing of her in style plus some more simple cute doodles of her and Raph being sweet. she is the most non human looking of the bunch.

another thing just for my oc in general is that i wanted her to be like besties with another brother, since i didn't want her to be Soley around her bf. i want her to be like a legit character and not just 'girlfriend' if that makes sense.

so for 1987 who is with Leo i thought it would be cute if she was besties with Mikey, ya know oldest sibling getting along with youngest (rare i know, but still)

for 2003 she's friends with Leo, since i imagine she has a lot of stress with 1, being left abandoned, 2, knowing she was only made as a weapon and 3. her boyfriend is too busy being a nerd to cuddle. plus he's the eldest so she looks up to him

for 2012, i imagine she's friends with Raph. main reason so he would stop picking on Mikey so much, two because he would love being a bad influence on her and they'd be menaces together

and finally Rise, for her i've decided Donnie. one because he's the last and two because this June's dad is a super smart scientist and because this June is more open to the fact she's not human. so them talking tech and analytics sounds nice

but yeah, that's my oc. i love her and i love the tmnt so much, if anyone wants to know more about her feel free to ask because my brain is absolutely buzzing about tmnt and i don't wanna bother my friends about it

I'll be posting some pictures of my oc from Padawan Era through Empire Era at some point to show what she looks like and stuff. I'll try to explain things as I write too.

I'm currently trying to write the whole clone Wars series but adding her in as well... Meaning there are extra episodes or Episodes I entirely skip if she isn't in them.

I'll get some background info up at some point. I'm also adding episodes I write with just clones from her legion I made up. I'm currently researching CT numbers as well so I don't accidentally assign ones that are already in use, so for now I'm just using their names.

Also throughout this whole thing, at some point I'm gonna end up shipping her with Rex because I said so when the build up and character development is right.

I'm drafting all of this on my Wattpad, but I haven't actually posted any of it yet because I'm trying to finish enough episodes so I don't have to deal with people rushing me to push out the next chapter, because it always happens and I get unmotivated.

I'll post a short summary of important events before the clone Wars Era because that's my main focus. But I can't draw for the life of me so I'm like heavily relying on avatar editors and picrews.

I'll do short Fic imagines in between when I get ideas, but as of now this is my main story focus, but I will create a tag for it.

I'll make a blog information post later, but yeah.
