Weight Of The World is still missing its third and final chapter and not having finished that one drives me nuts but i just can't seem to be able to pick up on it

I am the most chaotic writer. i jump back and forth between scenes like a maniac. when inspiration hits, i'll just dive right in without ever thinking about plot lines or mapping out the 'greater picture' beforehand and yet, i always manage to bring it all together in the end (at least i hope so).

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

repetitions and the overuse of certain expressions. english isn't my first language and sometimes the lack of vocabulary for things i want to describe and write about is just frustrating. (thank fuck for OneLook Thesaurus but still)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

as a reader, I love it. Especially if it's little things in a language i understand. Maybe I'll let Eddie be fluent in German or have Steve whip out some very limited French or Portuguese in the future 😆

omg in my playthru of ds1 right now i just rung the second bell and did i think the next two/three bosses after that but now i'm stuck again TT i would say that imo… having played all of them except demon souls.. perhaps a bit controversial!!! but i personally found dark souls 3 and elden ring to be the easiest! mostly in terms of like, most user friendly esp towards new players! 3 was the first one i actually finished finished, then i played bloodborne and i really love it sm that one is my fave and i think that one can be a bit easier if you like playing at a faster pace? if that makes sense? it's def more fast paced! but the hardest ones for me have been ds2 bc the mechanics are soo so different and then sekiro was a really steep learning curve for me!!

i've seen lots of rumors and theories going around that the dlc could be something like miq's dreamworld in his egg thingy and that godwyn could be involved SO im hopeful 👁️👁️

im doing a faith+elden beast greatsword run in my ng+ now to mix things up but im honestly a big big fan of the dex+arc builds hehe my first playthru i did rivers of blood!! i played like right on release so i didn't deal with all the patching and enemy scaling so when i did it, the weapon was a lot less op imo i dont know why they even patched it to begin with kkfddfkd but i really wanna try a moonveil playthru then i THINK i wanna try using a halberd bc i always have so much fun with those after i do my faith run but like you said the holy damage sucks so bad in this game that i'm not sure if i'll be able to stick to my plans 😭

it's funny bc in each game there's always one thing that kinda sucks… like in ds3 the bleed damage is like ULTRA trash bc they patched it to be worse but ds1 tbh has a good balance? i'm currently using a morningstar for bleed buildup in my playthru of that one and it's been going well for me so far!

no i agree with you!! especially elden ring really is very beginner friendly!! and i think that's kinda what fromsoft aimed for with this game 🥰 i have yet to play ds3 tho... and ALSO i have heard a lot of bad things about ds2... i try avoiding spoilers as much as i can, including game mechanics and such but even the little i heard about the game, i can confidently say i'm terrified of playing it 🧡

ohhh that's fun though!! yeah sorry to say dex+arc builds are easy mode sdjafkhlasdjfh but i respect it!!! seriously!! it feels higher paced and it's a nice change from strength builds! but personally i prefer feeling like i didn't cheese the boss with frost + bleed + god knows what else jdfhljdsaf i do that when helping someone kill a boss though jsdfhasjdfh can you believe i never in my life touched moonveil... i feel like i should have at LEAST tried it but... yeah... but i can only recommend using halberds!! the golden one from the limgrave tree sentinel is especially fun! and holy damage sucks but honestly unless you're on ng+3 or higher it doesn't make that much of a difference 🥰 i went for a holy build on ng+4... regrets......... so many regrets......... all the late game bosses have 80 resistance to it..... sdjfhsjdfhs

Hello there. Also saw you on Twitter. Can I ask you your impressions of the finale of FF7Rebirth ? Expectations from the third part? Is there even a tiny hope for resurrection? (this is the question that has been tormenting me since the announcement of the remake)

i'm still very emotional after finishing rebirth i have a lot of thoughts but in general i really did love the ending. it was unexpected but i think they executed it well. i was one of those people who wanted to see the same stuff that happened in the original (like cloud laying aerith to rest in the lake) but i think we'll either see that in part 3 or we won't if aerith somehow comes back. i was kinda expecting to see the party mourn a bit more but iirc in OTWTAS it's mentioned they didn't even have time to mourn until after everything was over so it made sense. i love how you can just see how much the party loves and cherishes aerith and the moment after you're finished all the boss phases and everyone (except cloud lol) is sittng around defeated and in shock...it really hit home and was super effective.

i really loved how aerith had such a strong focus, as well as her relationship with cloud. whether you ship them or not there's no denying they're important to each other and the story overall so as someone who loves clerith i was so happy squenix went above and beyond with them.

i am a bit confused though i know a lot of people are making their theories and connecting the dots but i'm always kind of left feeling a bit behind when it comes to squenix stories lmao. i do think there's a lot of hints and symbolism that suggests aerith is either alive in another timeline or will be reuinted with the party but i also wouldn't be surprised if squenix was baiting us the entire time and they won't give us that at all. it's meant to lead up to advent children so i originally thought that aerith is gone for sure in our timelinebut then after the ending cgi cutscene i'm like????

i think i'm gonna expect the unexpected when it comes to part 3. i think we'll see aerith somehow and in some way. i always wanted her to live and if we at least get to see her in another timeline, and the party reunites with her even if just for a moment i'll be happy even though it's bittersweet. the whole "worlds reborn and worlds merging" thing makes me think that maybe, MAYBE, squenix were being purposely misleading with the whole "it leads up to advent children".

i really like this thread on twt and this is how i see the ending. but i still think a lot of things are up in the air and i really have no idea what we'll get in part 3. hopefully i'm not rambling on too much TT what did you think of the ending and what are your theories?

Apparently, someone went to the vice principal saying that the people from the other course were being disrespectful and cursing

Honestly I have not much idea of what happened, but I heard that someone was offended because of a song

I keep tweeting my thoughts abt 8loom and tsunapi when I REALLY ought to be putting them HERE jasdfoiawherogh I keep forgetting aggghhhh

ig for now the tl;dr is after falling down the 8loom/kimi no hana ni naru rabbit hole, my new hyperfixation now is tsuna keito and hachimura rintaro, but there's way more watchable/leisure content of tsunapi (bc of being in industry longer + being an established actor already) so I've been watching his stuff

started out with ookami ni wa damasarenai, and have been flip flopping it with ryusoulger! it's been a fun time

admittedly feeling kind of bored by ryusoulger, but I'm gonna try my best to finish it (I'm like almost halfway through anyway). I think it's just not my cup of tea, sentai series... it's a lot less engaging (for me) than I thought it'd be compared to kamen rider ;; I've seen several kamen rider shows at this point and I know sentai isn't the same but I had hoped for like...clearer plot, I guess? but I'm halfway through with a lack of plot other than episodic like monster of the week style plot orz not a bad thing! just not my thing in particular, I guess

BUT it's still worth my time for tsunapi, so I will persevere

meanwhile ookami has been...interesting lol. I keep cringing at the romance element, even though I know it's just the medium through which they're trying to determine who the werewolf is. I couldn't stand the tension so I spoiled myself already, so at least that's out of the way? but also because like. my jp isn't THAT good, so it's a little hard for me to follow all their logic right...so I figured meh, doesn't hurt to know in advance lol

Also imma be honest as well - i'm the same. Birthright is the only one I finished and other than that I'm like almost through with awakening, halfway with echoes and revelations and idek how far with three houses. I think I get too much into strategizing and spend too much time planning out the classes and skills instead of just playing and then I tend to abandon the games for a while...

So since I'm not super deep into the story myself my 3h au isn't that deep. Y/n would take Byleths place, simply because it makes a lot of sense. And then I sorta assigned the units to the houses based on Vibes TM aka Blue Lions - HHU, Black Eagles - Vocal, Golden Deer Tiger - Performance.

I also felt that some characters shared traits or reminded me of members (Linhardt - Han, Ferdinand - Seungkwan, Sylvain - Mingyu, Claude - Hoshi, Ignatz - Hao). But they'd mostly be themselves and not take over the exact role of anyone. I've also have thoughts on classes for some but not for all. I think Woozi would be something along the lines of a General, Han would be a Dark Mage, Hoshi a Hero, Scoups a Swordmaster or Cavalier (or anything else just give the man a sword) and- yeah I think I'll end it here

" Yah Park y/n! I know he is handsome but you don't have to stare at him like that. He gets shy too you know,". Jeno snapped you out of your thoughts. y/n slapped Jeno's arm for embarassing her and bowed at Jaemin.

"I was just surprised okay? Are you really the Jaemin that goes to the same school as me?".

Jaemin smiled shyly and nodded. Before y/n could ask Jaemin further, Jeno started a conversation with y/n, catching up all the stuffs after 3 years of not seeing each other. Jeno's family went to China to settle some things up there and Jeno went together with them for 3 years. His family was finally back in Korea for good now.

"Oh how's my boy Seungmin?". Jeno asked as he ate a spoonful of his meal.

y/n saw Jaemin sat up when he heard his name. y/n gave Jaemin a small smile before facing Jeno.

"Well, after he confessed his feelings to me like I told you before, he would beat up anyone who tried to hit on me or when he feel threatened.". y/n sighed and looked at Jaemin. Jaemin quickly looked down on his plate.

"Your cousin here was one of his victims. He beat Jaemin up because I ki-- I talked to him." . Jeno blinked and smacked Jaemin's head which made y/n surprised. "You didn't defend yourself?".

Jaemin sighed and shook his head. "I'm just living up to my image and I'm too lazy to fight back. Don't worry, I'm healed now.".

Jeno shook his head, disappointed with both his friend and cousin. "Then don't you think you should try and give him a chance?". Jeno asked y/n. y/n shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know Jeno, I'm just not currently interested in all these relationships. Ok done about that, are you gonna enrol in our school?".

Jeno shook his head and smirked. "I'm gonna be homeschooled!.".

"That's boring,". y/n said as she finished her food. Jeno pouted and kicked y/n's leg playfully. "At least less drama than you,". y/n rolled her eyes and kicked his leg back.

The 2 families finished their dinner and were talking to each other before separating to their own ways.

"Ah Jeno, you still haven't given me your new number!". y/n quickly reminded. The two exchanged numbers and was about to bid each other goodbye when Jaemin pulled y/n to the side, excusing themselves.

y/n raised an eyebrow at Jaemin, ready to accept any of his explanation.

"Please don't spread this side of me. I really don't want people to know that the nerdy loser in school is actually like this. you get me?". Jaemin begged with serious eyes.

y/n frowned and shook her head in confusion. "Why are you even living like this? Living 2 lives? Are you Hannah Montana or something.". Jaemin sighed before unnoticingly held y/n's hands in order to beg her further.

"This is not the right time to explain. Please for now, please keep this a secret.".

y/n chuckled and pulled her hands away. "What do I get from that?". Jaemin bit his lips as he thought of an idea. "I'll tutor you. Anything!Maths?". y/n shook her head. "Geography!". Jaemin sighed in relief and nodded. "Geography it is. Here's my number, we can text to discuss when we'll meet for our tuition. If that's it, I'll go first. Thank you for helping me!". Jaemin finished and quickly ran to his cousin.

Meet Beaudille: my ADD compatible, overly convoluted, fully unnecessary take on the 10-stitch and sampler blankets.

The first itteration of this blanket was a straight forward 10-stitch garter stitch blanket. Though I had to go with 30 stitches, because this is very light weight yarn. I decided I wanted a rectangular blanket, so I had calculated that I just needed to knit down to about 60 cm long before turning the first two corners and I'd eventually have a cute color changing 150x200 cm blanket.

What I forgot to take into account is that I get bored easily. My particular form of ADD won't let me do the same thing over and over again for very long. This is why I'll never be able to knit a sweater and I am very impressed with those who can. Anyway, I knit the 60 cm and even turned two corners and got about 15 cm of te return done, all of which took about six months, but then I was fully burned out on it and it landed at the bottom of the TBF pile.

It kept bugging me, though. I really wanted that blanket and I had to figure out a way to trick my brain to keep it exciting. So I decided to make a blanket of 10x10cm patches, but knit them as my 30-stitch rectangular blanket. That's 300 patches, 27 of which are corners. I quickly realised I would not be able to just make up 273 different stitch patterns, so I bought this book full of patterns. I had just finished an intricate cabling project, so I omitted all cable patterns and I would be working with color changing yarn, so I also left out all color work patterns. I went through this book with a fine toothed comb and found 4 separate instances of duplicated patterns, so do with that information what you will. I chose 273 different patterns and charted them all out on Stitch Fiddle. I printed the charts double sided, randomized the order in excel and ended up with a pattern book that is about 2.7 cm or a little over an inch thick.

And now I'm knitting it all up. After 23 patches I decided to document this blanket on TikTok, posting a 30 second video of a finished patch every week (you can follow my progress here, patch 38 just went up last Monday), to have a record of doing this mammoth task. I started on June 25th, 2021 and am knitting patch 44 now (I don't number or film the corners). If I do only a patch a week, it'll take me 6 years, but I usually knit at least 2 patches a week and build up a buffer of videos in my drafts. Still, this is going to take a loooong time, but I've just added my second cake of yarn, so I'm doing a lot better than I was in garter stitch. And yes, there are quite a few seed stitch patterns in here and I HATE seed stitch with a passion, but the good news is that any pattern that I don't like only lasts 40 rows and then I never have to knit it again.

I wanted to share, because I cannot be the only one to have this boredom issue. I wanted to show that you can definitely make any pattern as convoluted as you need, if that what'll make it enjoyable for you.

Pattern details:

- stitch patterns from this book

- each patch is 30 stitches and 40 rows

- each patch starts and ends with a garter stitch row

- each patch has a 3 stitch garter stitch edge (on the outer edge of the blanket, I'll up that to 6 stitches)

- I use Bjorn from Skeino’s edge stitch to make picking up between the rows (to connect the "snake") easier (it leaves a little bump on the edge and I pick up between bumps)

- corners are knit in a k1-p2 rib, using wrap-and-turns to make the corner. I wrap by 1s and 2s, to make the stitches and rows match up.

There will at some point be 2 longer videos, one on the edges and one on the corners, because I cannot explain this in words, apparently

I hope you can take some inspiration from this and I hope you'll come say hi on TT to encourage me to continue this behemoth. I am planning on putting the pattern on Ravelry, but not until I'm finished, because I sometimes run into little issues where I adapt the pattern. I'm very much my own test knitter on this. But if you want to make one yourself, I think you can figure it out from everything I've written here :)

no, i'm not lactose intolerant so it really took me by surprise. it was a one-time thing. hopefully it doesn't happen again. i can't really say i'm a big fan of ice cream but it's good occasionally yk as a treat to yourself. and ahhh, i miss drinking smoothies. my favorite stall has been closed for nearly two years now, idk if they ever re-opened since our city mall burned down :[

i think it's an nct thing? it's why i never get tired of them bc they're always active in a way. you should've seen how things went down last year! march 127 album, april dream mini-album, may 127 repackage, june wayv album and the whole nct 2020 thing. it was a wild year. about the track, i listened to it once and forgot about it. might give it a few more listens but it might not grow on me at all. yes! wasn't a big fan of hot sauce at first too bc i thought the intro was weird (not jaemin's part, like the first thing that plays). and yes, that hook loops in my head 24/7. i even made it my instagram bio.

stray kids world domination indeed! and i agree that their performances were really impressive (specially the deadpool one, best one yet) but sometimes i would fancy ateez' more. i didn't watch kingdom too bc it stressed me out as a multi. always caught between being happy for one group and being sad for the others. and atz and tbz! you're still getting into nct and you're thinking of adding 19 more boys! judging from what i know your taste in music is, i think you'll like tbz's music better since there are a lot more soft songs there than in atz. but do give both discographies a listen in the future!

oh izone! i've only heard of them at music shows and dance choreo compilations bc of them being in sync. they're really satisfying to watch! i thought their title tracks were catchy as well! quite unfortunate that i never got into them really. but again, i dont think i can handle stanning temporary groups.
