I love how we got actual scenes of Gus and Matt blushing and probably having little crushes for girls but we all are like "yeah, no, they are still gay, homosexual, one of them queers, yup"
Scum Villain fic where Shen Yuan wakes up out of a coma and realizes that he just had a very, very vibrant dream about his boy and that web novel he hatereads.
When he gets back home after observation it's so... surreal. He feels so much older now. He's practically lived a lifetime in that dream, even if only a few months have passed.
His room is so... cringe is the word he wants to use, but he can't help but find his past self endearing about it all. Except that line of thought makes... no sense at all. His past self is just him from a couple months ago.
He decides to check up on the story he'd been dreaming about and finds out that, though there were a dozen more chapters, they had stopped updating completely without warning just a few weeks after his own coma.
(The comments after his coma, a few mention him, calling him out or cheering for him finally giving up on the story. Some people even speculate he might have died.)
His old comments were so embarrassing to read, but there's a part of him that... sees his love for Luo Binghe even in these.
Wait, why is he suddenly okay being gay for this protag??
He thinks he probably shouldn't be quite so chill about it.
He wonders what happened to Airplane. He stops himself from thinking too hard on the possibility it could all have been real. That was ridiculous!!
Meanwhile in the world of the system....
Luo Binghe is flipping OUT. His husband his shizun his beloved just up and went POOF. No trace of him, no clue left behind.
(Or is it worse if he dies? The original goods died that night he qi deviated and was replaced by Shen Yuan, so there's no soul there to replace him. Luo Binghe has had to deal with dead Shizun before but this time it's... different.)
Either way, after a whole lot of everyone flipping out, Shang Qinghua seems to know a little too much about... something.
The truth comes out. Luo Binghe admits he's suspected something like that for a while now, but thats not important. He needs his shizun back, so how..?
Something something about the alien hand call in 7x05 and Buck being the one being strangled.
Something something about Buck grappling with this new part of himself and coming out to people. Something something about the ‘fear’ of being judged or treated differently having him in a stranglehold because it’s still new to him and he doesn’t have it figured out himself yet.
Something something about being in 2 minds about telling people, about revealing himself - because the alien hand syndrome in this call occurs when the brains two lobes are separated - the connection severed - the brain is split in two
guys I ended up on the wrong side of swiftie tumblr please help get me back to the normal side where people don’t think that Taylor swift is secretly a lesbian who is singing to k*rlie kl*ss 😭😭 like istg she could marry Travis tomorrow and have 8 kids with him and they’d all be like “omg performance art” like you really think queen kylie kelce would involve her family in this if it was fake? The same kylie who is NOTORIOUS for not taking any bullshit? You think she’s involving her kids in this? Not a chance (side note Kylie kelce please adopt me I love you)
also if she was gay it makes more sense from a pr perspective for her to be single for a while rather than for her to have a “beard” she’s constantly slut shamed for having boyfriends and it’s not like those men get away Scot free either…. like she was fresh out of a 6 year relationship she could very easily have gone the “taking some time to work on myself before I get into another relationship” route if she didn’t want to date men anymore but instead she went straight to matty Healy of all people (which I genuinely think is one of the worst decisions she’s made in the past 5 years but then again she’s a grown adult who can do what she likes it’s none of my business and that is an opinion for another day)
“she’s being so loud in her songs only gaylors would understand” so close! Believing that a celebrity is sending you secret messages is actually a sign of schizophrenia! She’s not your friend she doesn’t know you and you should probably seek help xx
p.s. if you read this and felt offended I suggest you get a job I’ve heard they’re really good at filling all that free time you use to try and tear apart a stranger’s relationship
i love the term queer in relation to myself because it feels so nebulous and fluid, but also so strong. non-newtonian. like the oobleck of identitifiers. subject to extreme change, but solid in its own unique way, especially when struck. that's just my interpretation of it, but i think it's delightful.
You’re telling me that San lived through 100 years and somehow managed to go through ZERO character development?? Like damn, if I was the reincarnation of Wad I would be so disappointed and turned off I’d be like PEACE BRUH IM SO NOT INTERESTED ✌🏼🫡🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
can u post that cute fanart of ben talking to his online gf here on tumblr pls🙏
Yes yes, I made this way back when the series released lol, before I had the theory that Brooklynn is catfishing him
Honestly I’ll just repost what I said in the TikTok caption too because I think this is a good opportunity to spread awareness about an issue in the JWCC/JWCT fandom
And that is unintentional biphobia
With the reveal that Ben has a girlfriend (whether she’s real or not), a lot of people have been saying that he can't have a girlfriend because he's gay and not straight
It feels a lot like fans are forgetting that just because a person is in a straight passing relationship, it doesn't mean they're necessarily straight
Ben having a girlfriend does not at all diminish the possibility of him being LGBT, specifically because he could be bi, pan, omni, unlabeled, etc. The characters really shouldn't be boiled down to just "gay or straight", because it leaves out a lot of identities that really need representation
This issue has happened multiple times in this fandom, firstly with Kenji and Brooklynn (everyone disliked that Kenji was not gay when he also could be bi/pan/omni) and then with Yasmina (everyone continued to call her a lesbian when her story is inherently written to be of someone who is attracted to multiple genders). Ben is allowed to have a girlfriend and still be LGBT sexuality wise. It's really disheartening to see fans discarding the fact that he could be something other than gay
TLDR Ben can still like men but ignoring the fact that he has a girlfriend is ignoring that he could be written to be bi/pan/omni/unlabeled/etc
When Eddie comes out as gay the funniest thing Buck can do is set him up on a blind date with Josh only for Buck to learn too late that Josh and Eddie don't like each other.
people : its important to be inclusive, yes even of identities you don't understand ! support he/him lesbians !
these same people when its about using multiples contradictory labels because identity is complicated and fluid : if you support this you're actually evil
if you're deconstructing your ideas of binary gender and binary sex— you also have to deconstruct your ideas of binary sexuality and romantic attraction, too, fyi
I have a new gripe about Snape. Remus says that “Sectumsempra was always a specialty of Snape’s” and this info couldn’t be based on the First War, as they didn’t know Snape was a Death Eater back then and this means they wouldn’t have physically seen him fighting so anyone else using that spell could have theoretically been another Death Eater who’d learned the spell. So, the options for Snape having this as a specialty are this was wanted in the time frame between Dumbledore dying and the battle of the Seven Potters* or this occurred back in school, which is supported by Remus saying it’s always been a specialty. I think it’s the latter, in which case, Snape was just casually attacking other students with this spell. We also know that limbs removed with this spell cannot be grown back, considering George’s ear, so there’s possibly several students who permanent lost limbs thanks to Snape, unless it’s a different case for reattaching limbs than growing them back since they did not have George’s ear with them. This adds a new layer of clarity for why Snape dismisses whatever Avery and Mulciber did as just a joke, while Lily considers it evil, because he might have been doing the same kind of thing as those two.
*which is unrealistic bc Dumbledore died around June 30, given that on July 31 the trio is told that the “31 days” the Ministry can maintain Dumbledore’s will are up and the 7 Potters happens shortly before they’re told this. A month isn’t long enough to earn a specialty, especially not when it’s said Snape “always” had that.
Yeah I just kind of assumed that when Remus said that, he was referring to school. Because didn't Snape invent the spell as a student and write it down in that potions book of his??? It's definitely odd to think that he's just out there casually attacking students with it, but on the other hand a fucking basilisk lives in that school, so there are definitely weirder things happening there.
I don't know. Books 6 and 7 aren't canon because of Remus's baffling relationship with Tonks, so I don't remember much from them.
gender and sexuality labels are so fucking hard how am i supposed to know how what i experience (already hard to pin down) compares to what "normal people" experience (completely unknown to me)
