I'm so sorry to have kept you all waiting on the requests, however I hope that now you see what I've been working on, you might understand why it took some time!! Especially when I've been working on this only in the evening, and while trying to keep my tiny human alive!

When I started this, it was originally a combination of requests/characters I really like! and somehow I ended up with 62 of them!! I'm hoping maybe in the future Ill revisit this, maybe try get 100?! But for now I'm glad to be able to take a break and start on other projects!!

This was really a labor of love, and I really hope you all like it as well! I did try my hardest to get as many details as I could, but I did take a few uniform liberty's here and there!! I hid a few little movie and game Easter eggs in there as well, let me know if you spot any!

Can I just say I am so fucking excited that Oda gets to showcase some of his biggest inspirations in this up and coming Elbaf arc?

We know of a few, such as DBZ, Astro Boy but two that really are going to shine this arc, and already have before and now, are Asterix and Obelix and Vicki the Viking. As the son of a French/Spainard, I personally grew up around the latter, so when I first started One Piece, it really came to mind, especially the color spreads.

Seeing Usopp wearing a Obelix's costume (as well to a degree Queen from The Beast Pirates but thats it's own thing) seems oh so fitting for an homage, as Obelix's entire character is kindness, and a strength of both physical and of heart. We also, the chapter before have a very similar design to Obelix, showing perhaps Oda had a favorite. (Not to mention the way Oda draws certain people seems to stem from some of these, uncharacteristic, designs.)

Than we have the Vicky The Viking insperation, which is absolutely undeniable and EVERYWHERE. From Kaido and his beast pirate uniform being clearly just Sven the Terrible, to a little boy wearing a very familar hat- right down to the barrel and dancing and singing, Oda clearly has taken the series to heart. I am BEYOND excited to see even more of this love for his childhood and comfort in his work.

All right lads and laderinos, last art post of the year! Happy New Year!

A commissioner wanted a piece of their cats, Nami (wizard), Zorro (rogue) and Loki (fighter), as DnD archetypes, so I obliged. I love getting to draw animals! Plus Loki's half length stumpy, wonky tail made me laugh. It was a delight.

the mental gymnastics i am doing about this mustache are literally on the same level as the ones i do about buddie canon. sitting here like well everyone's kind of making fun of it so maybe it's temporary. kenny maybe loves it in an ironic way or possibly in a real way since he keeps drawing attention to it but i can't tell. clearly the mustache will be involved in scenes beyond just jokes because he's had it for 2 weeks of filming but maybe it will signify the end of something. but it could also signify the beginning of something since it's such a weird change plus he's getting out and gay people love that shit. and now ryan is doing photoshoots with it so clearly he likes it enough on his own face to memorialize it plus he's manifesting zorro but is he doing that in a real spiritual way or in a cringe way i don't know him well enough to say. it could be gone tomorrow or it could stay forever. i cherish it for as long as i have it of course but it's so important to me for him to keep it.

Might be wrong, but I think I just noticed that when the team split off into their groups during the dance in So Long, Farewell, they all do a move based off of what position they play.

1. Are you named after anyone?

Yes. I was named after Elena from the Mask of Zorro (which quickly became one of my favorite movies after watching it), and my middle name, Victoria, is the feminine version of my dad's name, who I'm basically a carbon copy of.

2. When was the last time you cried?

A few days ago after my mom told me I take everything too seriously and am supposed to be going to therapy to change myself otherwise I'm wasting her time and money 🙃

3. Do you have kids?

I'm 23 and have never kissed anyone, what do you think?

4. What sports do you/have you played?

I don't, nor have I ever. I'm an artist, not an athlete.

Watching YouTube, playing video games (I have a 3DS, Switch, and a Wii), drawing and writing whenever I get the motivation.

It always depended on the teacher. I do have a soft spot for science though, especially astronomy.

Ever since fifth grade, I knew I wanted to be an author. Writing best-selling fantasy and sci-fi books is still my dream, but it's admittedly a bit unrealistic, especially nowadays with how unpredictable the future of the publishing industry is. It's also not a reliable occupation because of that issue. Ultimately, I want to write stories and characters that people will love and remember long after I'm gone.

Morozov/Chen: Star Wars - kinda glad they went with a more unusual choice. they do that same upside down lift that Zingas/Kolesnik are doing this season - a team at Next Gen are doing it too - idk what it is about the hive mind, but there are about 4 teams doing CPom’s spin position, too. but back to them - yes they’re gelling pretty quickly, but when you’re new the little places you’re not quite used to each other tend to show under pressure, and it felt like that happened in a couple places tonight

Robinson/Portz: Dance Me to the End of Time- they’re good at sustaining a mood and building emotion - some teams project out, they seem like they draw you in - she seems shy or a little guarded, but like being part of a team together still makes the performance personal

Pham/Spiridonov: cello tango (Nicholas Britell and Caitlin Sullivan - Cello Impromptu in f minor, Waltz Tango) another really good vehicle for them. beautiful assisted jumps. this makes me wonder what if he’d gone to IAM with Lorraine

Fournier/Zhu: Rocketman - their skating has progressed, and they’ve gelled further since last we saw them. have to give it to IAM - with as many teams as they have, i’m trying to think of a program that doesn’t look carefully considered and tailored to the team. they look like they love skating this

Dozzi/Papetti: Asaf Avidan - Between These Hands, Reckoning Song. kind of haunting - i felt like there’s a story i wasn’t quite understanding. want to see this again. he has such lovely carriage, and she has a soft quality which i can’t articulate properly but is part of why i like them so much - they do CPom’s spin too.

Hensen/Lickers: Firebird - i can’t tell you how excited i am - this is such an ambitious program. the opening is stunning and then big lift after big lift, ending with her perched on his shoulder as they spin 😮 they were running a little low on energy towards the end tonight, and the twizzles are very late in the program, but omg i can’t wait to watch them grow this - it’s choreographed beautifully to the music, and they picked the best parts

Ichilov/Kravchenko: Zorro - she’s another with a strong ballet/dance background. after Olivia and Adrian’s though, you notice the program isn’t as effective

Ritter/Brykalov: Francis Lai- Mayerling, Nicole Croiselle and Francis Lai - Where Did Our Summers Go. this is beautiful- they have a good connection, and i love how they’ve grown in assurance

Katarina DelCamp-Alalin/Bert Akalin: Dawn of Faith - Eternal Eclipse, Newborn- Elephant Music (OA soundtrack). i’m trying to picture her skating with Ian Somerville, who was her previous partner, when she comes across as a dancer who naturally relates to a partner and Ian really doesn’t

Shilling/Baeten: Celine - It’s All Coming Back to Me - what good timing when Celine’s having a moment- they’ve only been together since 2022, but i would have guessed it’s been longer from the way they fit

Roberts/Alis: CLANN - Her and the Sea, I Monster- Who is She - atmospheric sea shanty - they look like a different team than last season - they can’t have been training in Komoka more than 6 or 7 months, but seems like a good match

Palomeque/White: a new team representing Ecuador - expanding skating to new places is exciting 💕

Pokedexxy challenge day 2: Dark type

Zoroark. Friggin edgy fox with cool powers. I love it lol. Obviously gotta go ahead and draw my boy Zorro for this prompt. If anyone want to know about this guy, I’ll drop some lore.

Zorro here grew up in a pretty bad area in Driftveil with only a father that had to work multiple jobs in order to have at least something. Sadly, the dad left(to Kalos probably) and he was basically forced into survival mode. Worked a few shitty jobs himself where he was treated the absolute worst and had to crash inside the homes of some members of a local bike gang for the night. Fast forward a bit and he decided to join Team Plasma as he had nothing better in his life(spoiler: it failed via the power of The Plot™️). HE ALSO DID MULTIPLE CRIMES OUTSIDE THE WHOLE PLASMA THING. These days, he just works as both a cab driver and helps out inside a casino inside Join Avenue :)
