I made avgolemono, a Greek lemony chicken soup. It's delicious!!! 😋 this is my first Greek dish that I've ever made. Thanks to @lysjb03 , I've broadened my culinary horizons today!! She's the one who suggested that I make this soup. She gave me the recipe and the motivation I needed to cook this wonderfully delightful soup. 😋 I love chicken, and I love lemons, so it's a perfect dish for me. It has rice, carrots, celery, scallions, garlic, eggs, chicken stock, and onions in addition to the chicken and lemon juice. I added onions even though it's not in the original recipe because I love onions. ❤️ The recipe that she shared with me was from the Mediterranean Dish website. I, highly, recommend that you try this soup. It's so good that I'm gonna go get a second bowl 🥣 it is easy to make, inexpensive, comforting, and very tasty!!! I love avgolemono!!! 😍🥰😋😁🤗

Kulfi anon here. I used some almonds this time and it turned out real good, very tasty! I also definitely wanna try out other stuff too. But what I really can't wait to try to make is one like that gif you posted, where it's like poured into a fruit, that looks so so delicious omg 😋 look, if you have any tips or any like recipes to suggest, I'm all ears lol 😅

That poured into fruit one is more challenging than the regular kulfi. Because you need one of those commercial freezers to chill the entire fruit, it takes a while, etc. But hey if you nail it, send me your address and I’ll pop by 😂

The best one is the one my Dad makes, he gets full fat milk over simmer for a good 30-40 minutes until the liquid reduces by half, skimming the skin that develops and mixing it in, adds sugar and a touch of nutmeg (tastes DIVINE) and some evaporated milk as well. You can always have it as is in a cup, it is so yummy as a basundi (as we call it) or then chill it overnight and turn it into kulfi, of course! If you search the recipe of basundi, I’m sure you’ll get it, it’s just one step short of a kulfi.

Diluc had a.. complicated relationship with the tavern. While he enjoyed old memories of celebrations and parties with past knights, a sense of dread and sorrow overcomes him when he is reminded of his current state. Someone with no one to turn to, making the same drinks his late father used to brew all those years ago.

His tavern often accumulated crowds of filthy drunkards, waiting impatiently for their next drop of liquid gold. As often as he sold alcohol, Diluc despised it's taste and effects. The only reason he still sells it is to withhold his father's legacy. Each face he served blended in with the crowd, displaying nothing but a lack of self-control. That was until a peculiar figure entered through the tavern doors.

Unlike the other madmen losing their shit over another sip, this person was on a mission. They had an agenda, one that intrigued the young master. Looking around for an empty table, they gave up quickly and resorted to sitting at the bar. The bag they sat next to their barstool was sturdy, carrying all sorts of books, journals and pens. Diluc wondered why out of all places, why would someone choose to study here?

"Not that I have a problem with your personal matters, but why are you working at a place as rambunctious as this tavern? I'm sure the Favonius Library or nearby fields would be much quieter." The person looked up from their books in surprise, as if they had just been in deep thought. "Oh! I thank you for your concern, but I've heard the drinks here are tasty. I was hoping I could get something to help me through this session, sir."

Diluc looked at the person surprised. He assumed since they were studying they would want a non-alcoholic drink, something he had been trying to push for years. Hardly anyone ordered his juices, teas, or coffees, and when they did it was usually during a big sale. Maybe some people in this tavern had sense after all.

"There is no need to call me sir, just Diluc is fine. What would you like to drink?"

"A glass of grape juice, please."

As he started to prepare the glass, he heard a voice come from the other side of the counter.

"I'm Y/n, in case you were wondering."

"I'll be sure to remember that."

As the night progressed, Diluc found himself wanting to talk to Y/n even more. Unfortunately their studies kept them busy, and who was he to interrupt someone so motivated? He wasn't sure why he was so intrigued by them either. He could just tell he wanted to be with them.

As the clock stroke 4 a.m., only two people in the tavern remained. Y/n was resting face down in their book, asleep from the long and strenuous hours of studying. Diluc had hardly spoken a word to them all night, but he still found himself caring deeply for their well-being.

Once he was done wiping down the counters, he had to think of a plan. He didn't want to leave you alone, but he also didn't have any where else to take you. Instead, he thought of the next best thing.

He quickly took off his coat and rested it over your sleeping figure, to make sure you were warm. Diluc then quietly opened a drawer and pulled out a paper and pen. His handwriting was strong and elegent, flowing across the scrap piece of paper. The note read:

"Dear Y/n,

I hope you don't mind that I let you stay in the tavern. I was too guilty to wake you up, considering how tired you must've been after working. Not many customers genuinely make me curious, but you have left me craving more conversation with you. If you are available, I would be pleased to have dinner with you at the Dawn Winery tomorrow night. That is if you're comfortable of course.

Go for a walk - Getting out can be really good for your mental health. Make a game of it - play silly fun games like eye-spy or make up stories about people you see, take your mind off life!

Soon as you walk though the doors you feel right at home like you're dinning with family. 👪 They offer a wide variety of fresh authentic chef driven cuisine. Dishes and desserts are prepared fresh using only the finest locally sourced ingredients and vegetables to create some bold modern flavor profiles loaded with deliciousness..They also offer a wide section of tasty wines and craft cocktails to complement your dinner dishes. We enjoyed some creative dishes: "South Dakota Bison 🦬 Steak" which was meaty perfection. "The South Dakota Bison Relleno": Braised short rib that was savory, flavor-loaded and simply R.I.D.I.C.U.L.O.U.S #RidiculouslyDelicious. "Caramelized Leek Soup" that was so savory, creamy and delicious that it tasted like MORE because more is all I wanted.
