Ok, I have been on an inspiration streak with this AU, so have another fic, this time based on the aftermath. I swear elitadream, your AU will be the end of me AAAA- (because it's THAT good.)

Coral. Coral help. I NEED to know your thoughts on B!F!Robin. I am dying. IS did her so dirty by giving her the LITERAL EXACT SAME OUTFIT as M!Robin and GAVE THE LEVIN SWORD TO FELIX I am screaming. They can't let F!Robin have ONE thing to herself so thank Naga for the child banner I guess. But on the other hand...she looks so pretty! She rocks that outfit harder than M!Robin! Her special colors are so niiice! But I'm mad because something like this has literally never happened to a brave unit arrgghhh! I am conflicteddd help me make sense of my thoughts :(

(Also I stg her in-game dialogue better be JUST as sappy and romantic and Chrom-related as M!Robin's..........)

Omg Idk why tumblr didn't give me the notification for this--apologies for the late response! I do want to preface this by saying that everyone is wholly entitled to their own feelings about this unit and I don't want or intend to be dismissive of any of that! Brave units are really special and you only get one shot at them for a character, so it's natural for people to be super invested in how they're executed and have strong feelings if it's not what they were hoping to see. With that out of the way, I'm actually pretty uncomplicatedly happy with how her brave unit turned out! I am very very much a proponent of the "both Robins are the same character with the same personality" view point; because of that, I tend to like seeing them receive the same treatment and IS giving them both the same outfit was really nice in that regard. Particularly given that the original designs for Robin have the male and female avatar wearing the exact same outfit, I think keeping it the same for the brave felt really natural to me! I didn't personally feel like she was cheated or short changed, and I really like the subtle adjustments that were made to it with the bow and sleeves and cut of the shirt to tailor it slightly better to her while still keeping the concept consistent. I also just think the way Wada Sachiko does shading / coloring and the way Robin's face / hair are drawn are gorgeous. She really does look so, so pretty <3 I will say I would still love to get Grand Master F!Robin eventually though, so I'll cross my fingers they put her out as an attuned unit sometime down the line. Please IS, people (me) would pay good money for her in those golden thigh-high boots 🙏

If I have one disappointment with this unit, it's that Chrom doesn't feature in her forging bonds T-T But that being said, she does name drop him absolutely constantly and her unit title is "Exalt's Right Hand" which is delightfully shippy as well. Even their little teatime dialogue thing has Robin talking about joining hand in hand with him. ALSO her bonus battle entry voice line she got is a line from the Chrobin B support ("Now, what was so damned important?"), which I think is pretty wonderful...especially given that Brave Chrom's bonus battle entry quote is a line he says to Robin as well ("You are yourself").

As for the levin sword.....not sure what they were thinking with that one LOL. I suppose maybe in that regard they DID want to differentiate her from m!Robin by giving her a different weapon type?? And Felix is one of the swordiest sword guys ever, so I definitely understand wanting to keep him as the sword user...but what possessed them to give him the levin sword specifically I have no idea. I think I am just choosing to view it as funny more than anything kdfksdg

Okay, I just threw a lot of words at you and idk how useful they actually are for clarifying any of your own feelings LOL but! Hopefully you were able to take something helpful away from it! And I appreciate you caring to hear my thoughts in the first place <3

not really an ask as much of an appreciation post but STARBOY IS SUCH A GOOD FIC 👏👏👏 your characterisation of joel and bdubs and lizzie in particular stand out in my head as being SO fantastic, but overall, all the characters and the whole story is phenomenal! as a concept it’s neat as heck, i know nothing about f1 but it’s still so easy to follow and get totally engrossed in. there’s such a great balance between character interaction, drama, and racing—when i was first reading, i accidentally stayed up well past 4am cos i got so invested! AND you write scar’s emotions so well, too—that feeling of being the new guy feeling a bit out of the loop and out of place translated so well that even i felt it, as a reader, for a bit there! amazing, fantastic, no notes, thank you for the stuff you write, i absolutely love it & i wanted to make sure authors i love out there Know i appreciate them sm 🙏🙏🙏 that’s all now have a good day

scar being so new to everything plays into EVERY factor of his life rn. new to f1. new to these people. new to his friends. he’s adjusting and the reader gets the chance to adjust and discover everything w him!

and lizzie and joel have been my favorite side characters to give intricate backstories to. lizzie being present as motorsport history is made and joel being joel is always fun. thank you for your message!! it was so sweet, i love it 🥹🫶

based off this post ; id say mild spoilers but i think only if you're really clueless.

oasis would not really go out of her way to obtain something with a pride flag. I do think we can see, and already have seen, that she would come in possession of frankly anything, and that would make her the most likely to have something with any kind of pride flag on it. But wear it? Show off her spoils? Don't think so. PRONOUN PIN: would probably avoid wearing one, moreso in a "idc its whatever man" way than anything though, like i think she'd want to fuck with you.

alex considers himself straight in canon, he might reflect on his lack of attraction at some point later in life after the events of SF but I'm not sure what the community and culture would look like at this point or his involvement with it. In the au he is more aware of this part of himself, and I could see him having something with a pride flag on it. Although he would may not wear it often due to constantly questioning it. PRONOUN PIN: he may or may not wear a pin, it would be more in solidarity with others than for himself

casarin would NOT wear anything with a pride flag on it. He doesn't have internalized homophobia or anything but he is just not gonna wear something with a gaudy ass rainbow on it. Also he doesnt have some deep meaningful connection to the community, if anything its strained because of how its treated him. Though if he were gifted like a little pin or keychain of a rainbow flag he'd appreciate it, it would just end up in a drawer or something as a keepsake of the gifter. PRONOUN PIN: wouldn't care if you stuck one on him, and while he is a he/him he wouldn't fight being a she/her for a day in the right environment, not going out of his way to do so.

hydrel is straight and homophobic. You know this. Those little dangly rainbow earrings that matches his crop top ☝️🙏🏳️‍🌈 is for The Lord. PRONOUN PIN: confused by the concept at first but then would get very invested in it and would have various pins in different colors and levels of glitter for different occasions, though they'd go unused outside of specific situations where he felt comfortable wearing something like that. because he doesn't need to wear something like that.🧍‍♂️

latikam is apathetic to it. He is an outlier and outcast from other vazuvyr and from mortals for being a vazuvyr, the idea that he would somehow find acceptance in a multi-species trans community is something beyond him, let alone signalling this to others when its obvious from his body he's not cis. I dont see pride flags doing anything for him but he wouldnt have a strong opinion against them. That and he doesnt spend money on anything other than weed. However. I can see him wearing a "If this (pride) flag offends you I'll help you pack". That does feel very in-character for him. PRONOUN PIN: no, his language doesnt have gendered pronouns and doesnt respect yours enough to care.

meksignn is a pride flag. PRONOUN PIN: he slams it against the nearest object ten times, throws it, then pitter patters after it. Dont you fucking think about taking it from him.

[also, some footnotes?? ig? as a fellow writer, i hope you don't mind (｡ŏ﹏ŏ) i learned it from a friend of mine back in senior high, she was one of the literary editorial chief in our school newspaper, and i was beside her when she was proofreading one of her colleague's writing, and she said to always separate two people's dialogues in paragraph (like no two persons' dialogues should be in the same paragraph).

i enjoyed your writing very much because you use such colorful words🥺💗 but ig i did encounter some confusing parts in the dialogues since you've put two in a paragraph, i had to pause and retrace back. (don't worry it wasn't too much of a trouble!💗) but yeah, i use to write the same way too, until my friend's advice 😭 again, i hope you don't mind ajfhdhsuchdd hnnngg]

AAAAAAA im so glad i brought smth new to the table to you, tho i must admit its not so much of an original idea since its heavily based on an existing cartoon series but i did make a lot of tweaks in the story/world building to make it a lot more suspenseful in a way (ever after high is more of a childrens show so the concept was approached more lightheartedly) /// and totally kinda dystopian but i didnt know if it was dystopian enough for me to add it to the genre tags so just kinda let it be lol

and yes!! i actually have a whole thing planned for jisung (like his pov on stuff) cz he also has a love interest mentioned in minho's fic tho its just like a small mention during the lake scene,, but there was def meaning behind it + me mentioning his character's crush on pinocchio's daughter 👀👀 i originally made it just so i could have more backstory to base on and make his role in the story more justified in a way but another reader encouraged me to make it too so i will soon <3

if i can think of other stories to do with the other members i might make one for all of them, but so far i only have jisung's planned so maybe like a side by side kinda thing

and oh yeah same 😭😭 i kinda formed an attachment to written on paper minho too i was so invested in writing him to the point i was smiling crazily while typing in my laptop 💀 i love the minho pics btw he's so cute huhuhuhu
