Been playing Cave Story for some time now (had to restart my save file a couple of times because I wanna get the best ending and I made a lot of silly choices) and to everyones surprise "Local Person Likes Hit Indie Game Cave Story". Its really fun, specially because in some aspects it really reminds me of UNITRES Dreams (like if Unlimited Trees took... INSPIRATION FROM THE GAME?!?!?!). The weapon swap system reminds me of the team system in UNITRES Dreams, how the different characters have different stats and health (the health part specifically reminds me of the level system, because each weapon has unique expirience and level (also i know the party system is also inspired by Sonic Heroes and Sonic Classic Heroes but the prevously mentioned stuff really reminded me of that)), and the gameplay really reminds me of the "Bullet Hell Plataformer" that UNITRES Dreams was going for. Kinda sad how I cant play the game on my Wii U because im too intimidated and lazy to mount the port that Clownacy did of the Cave Story Engine, but yeah, game's fun. Also I did a silly doodle of the main character of the game (mostly inspired only by his sprite) but I cant use my computer right now, hopefully I remember to publish it here.

Star Fox Zero really was a fantastic game destroyed by an absurd learning curve. The most frustrating thing is that really, if you removed the motion controls and just added a radar like you have in 64, with maybe an option to activate gyro aiming by holding down a button instead of being on all the time (possibly sacrificing mobility to make up for the extra precision), you’d probably cut that learning curve down but a ton and have a game a lot more people can play. It really needs a port that has the chance to address the problems it has.
