Hey, you're being lied to about what fitness constitutes. If you can't work in an hour-long crossfit slog, but you can work in a five-minute walk, then that is still fitness. If you can't use your legs but you can do arm circles every now and again, that is still fitness. If you're moving around at work, that's still fitness. It can be intentional or incidental, but here's the best part: your body doesn't care if you're dedicating specific work-out times. It doesn't care if the "only" fitness it gets is your nine to five on your feet. It doesn't care, fitness is fitness is fitness. Some of us do it differently, but the end result is more or less similar.

If you can do any type of fitness safely, your body isn't going to care if you're doing it like an Olympic athlete or if you're just a casual.

I think the absolutely most baffling thing to me that I've noticed in the AI generated image discourse is that people seem to think that artists don't make any compromises or sacrifices ever and live perfect, comfortable lives where things just happen to align perfectly for them to have the time to create art that perfectly aligns with their vision

"I don't have the time to draw" do you really know if artists simply have the time to draw or on the contrary, have to sacrifice something to gain that time to draw? can you be so sure that they don't have to deal with hardships to gain the time to draw? or, they have the time to draw because they can't do something else in their lives due to their circumstances, and drawing is the only thing that will fill this time?

"I can't create stuff that meets my vision" how can you be so sure that the stuff artists create meets their vision? do you really think this art was their vision from the absolute beginning? or did they actually have to make compromises to reach this specific look, which maybe wasn't what they aimed for to begin with? can you even be sure if the medium they spend the most time on is the medium they intended to pick up from the beginning, or is it a medium they've had to pick up to compromise for not picking up another art form they wanted to stick to in the first place due to myriads of reasons?

I already brushed on it in my Wemma suggesting post, but I really like as a whole, Emma and Wayne are essentially the heart and soul leaders of The Frogs of Death, with Emma relying on pathos and Wayne relying on logos (surprisingly)

It’s surprisingly most highlighted in the two challenges with a Nichelle focus, episodes 1 and 3. Nichelle is essentially carried metaphorically (and literally in ep1) somehow being a fascinating character springboard for the others.

For Wayne, despite the obvious ease Wayne would have doing a blindfolded challenge with Raj, they go with someone else, because he probably just wanted everyone to get a fair turn and not just hang out with his best friend the entire show (and the belief she’s an action star, but it is all off-screen). When she protests running, Wayne decides to risk his health because of faith in himself, her safety, and the group. Despite doing probably the least wrong, he still proceeds to blame himself after the challenge.

Emma falls into the emotional side of the team, forcing a sense of positivity around the group to help with Nichelle’s self-doubt. She gets aggressive when Bowie and MK’s negativity affects Nichelle, letting her spiral further. While the rest of the team are shocked by the reveal, Emma is never shown to care and simply want her in a mentally stable state (mostly to win the challenge, yes), asking to talk to her about her emotional crisis later, while the others proceed to just hound her further (or have no idea what’s happening). While it’s based off the team’s agenda, Emma focuses on Nichelle’s inner strength and desire to prove herself. You cannot convince me Emma voted for Nichelle. She 100% voted for MK, considering how mad she looks at her during the ceremony. She was also the only one to react that Julia was drowning and went back to help her, despite her being annoying. Later in ep4 despite having beef with MK, she still praises her and believes her somewhat unbelivable story, looking hurt when MK snaps at her regardless (as if Emma couldn’t just mention it again later...?)

Notably in ep2, while the two contestants have very different styles of leadership, they mesh remarkably well. When Emma lets her emotions lead her style of competing, Wayne swoops in not to tell her to go with his original plan, but modifies his plan to apply a logos approach, justifying her behaviour and sharing the role of captain, metaphorically. Neither view their sense of leadership as “my way or the highway”, but rather channeling certain negative feelings into proper behaviour. Like, ya know, an actual leader.

Got distracted and I ended up working on my drawing But then I realized a major mistake on it when I thought I was done with the star veil (yes, again. I changed up the stars at the tips of it, this veil is kicking my ass) and I was erasing stuff already so when I realized I'm like: FUCK-- undo undo undo undo und o un do u n d o. what made you start the queue

It started with my main, though I can't remember why I started to use one there. I think cause that's what a lot of my friends did? I used the queue to keep posts steady without being too overwhelming (so as to not log in after 12 hours of nothing and immediately reblog 40 things in immediate succession lmao) but I'd still reblog stuff I really liked outside it. Then it turned into all queue all the time

So when I started the blog here, after having my first established for years and already knowing how best to organize the blog for myself, I started out with a queue. Especially cause back then, the Kylo and kylux content was MASSIVE. Early 2016, my queue broke 70 posts frequently because there was just so much. And that's when it posted every hour. Now, obviously, things are different, but I've kept the queue going even though it's slower now (every hour and a half)

I suppose it's just an easy way for me to make sure my blog is neither empty nor swamped at any given time lmao. And then I can fill the queue at my leisure. Sometimes it'd be nice to not have to worry about filling it, but also if I didn't recycle old posts there just wouldn't be much here at all. Though, if we do see a mass migration of users for either or both of my fandoms and thus an influx of tasty posts, I might return to having it post hourly
