Did they get a postive response from adding those Gortash lines? I thought a bunch of people hateing on it instead? Also what if they removed the lines to change them a go a diffrent direction. I'm sorry. I have a lot of worry they wont do something I agee with.

The overwhelming reaction was positive. Durgetash artists went on Twitter to celebrate, and the small but passionate fans of the ship went nuclear here and on Twitter, and helped BG3 trend, yada yada, tale as old as time.

Most people don't care about Durgetash or Gortash. The majority of people you hear from would be the people who like both of those things. It's also a small ship.

The haters of that ship are even smaller in comparison, because the hand that reaches out will always touch more than the hand clenched into a fist.

And the only "legitimate" complainers, who don't just dislike the ship on principle, are the whiners who keep insisting their durges are lesbians, and how dare Larian "force" them into a relationship with a man - which is literally not what Larian did.

No one bitches about how Gale's ORIGIN completely precludes him from being gay.

I see no reason why you can't similarly have Durge's ORIGIN make them attracted to men. Or, you know. Enver is special.

People act like Durgetashers are loud - we're honestly not that loud.

Astarion fans are far louder, and yet, the most romanced companion is SHADOWHEART and then Laezel and KARLACH.

He's not even in the top 3. And yet, he dominates the content on Twitter and Tumblr... he's definitely more popular than Gortash or the Dark Urge or Durgetash together...but his fans are still technically the damn minority.

So Durgetash in comparison to Starries???

I'm kind of tired of answering asks about this.

I don't KNOW for certain whether or not this is Larian backing up or walking forward, and while I don't believe they'd walk back on this, and especially not for a handful of people, it kind of annoys me to even think about things outside of my control.

now if Larian makes a big grand statement and says actually we totally rescind something WE WROTE AND ADDED TO THE GAME because some people got mad...then I'll call them cucks, and complain.

No bc fuck tim but it really really bothers me how people ignore his growth like he used to be an asshole and I’ll give tim Stans one thing: now he’s so so so stale but what I disagree with is that this staleness is bc nobody likes him like it’s in fact the exact opposite where everyone likes him so much they dont want to do anything. Even when it’s him surface level challenging Bruce it’s when everyone else is doing it too; but he’s still the backbone of the fam! Etc. and it’s so irritating bc him gaining more compassion and empathy even for people he doesn’t fw is so fun to watch and that’s why the captain boomerang thing was so out of character! OOOHHH MY GOSH okay okay okay

i've been applying to jobs for a couple months now and haven't landed one. the closest i got was the third pick for my literal dream role in my dream work environment, but one of the directors on the board had called me to say they were moving forward with someone else but that she (and the rest) liked me a LOT and wanted me to apply for other possible roles. well... they're hiring a role i didn't feel anywhere near qualified for, so i hadn't applied yet, but i just got a linkedin message from a DIFFERENT board member asking me to email or text him, so i shot him a message. and he was SO FUCKING NICE and basically begged me to apply for this role. so i fucking have to, yeah? and hopefully, even though they won't have the final say, those two directors will push for me as a preferred candidate. god i hope so.

okay update: he offered for me to text/call him anytime, so i just set up a time tomorrow afternoon! i really want this role but am concerned because like... i am NOT familiar with it

the type of bot followers I've been getting recently are different from the old ones

they old ones were called something like "kayla95573735" or other conventional female name, or they were "vik558dfght" absolute nonsense. of course, you click them, and there's a semi-provocative banner image of a woman, and then either nothing at all in the blog itself or a few scattered reblogs of random stuff.

now i get "keith5684564" "edwardjfkghhg" and even though the names are now typically male ones the images are still of women various women in the typical provocative poses and entirely empty blogs

I guess the bots realized no one believes they're really women so might as well make a sham attempt at credibility and just announce that oh yeah they're run by guys? (which of course they're bots soooo lol)

or maybe the bots were getting too many messages for "kayla" and thought that if they're "keith" instead at least people won't message them so much

kind of funny imagining a bot getting so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of "hey baby dm me" in its inbox that it redesigns its identity hehehehe

ok so i watched the new superman show. thought it was just okay romance wise, nothing very exceptional. the animation was weak in a few areas, i think they should have just gone all out and animated it like an anime, like in the myx episode. loved that battle sequence too!! the rest of the animations with the fight scenes were kind of clunky imo.

character wise i think they’re all pretty predictable and fall into the same boring stereotypes. tenacious and ambitious/spunky ‘tomboy,’ goofy comedic relief third wheel black friend, OP main character who’s main trait is being both responsible for all conflict and saving people from said conflict…yeah. it’s literally danny phantom but instead of being ‘sassy’ clark kent just has anxiety.

HOWEVER…taking into account the episode with the loving and kind gay gorilla and his robot-body-but-human-brain-scientist-husband, clark kent being quite possibly the most peggable fictional character to exist, casually depicting lesbian moms, and most importantly being very obviously and overtly anti US government means i objectively have to give it a 10/10 and say it’s the best tv show i’ve ever seen in my life.

also…it���s definitely a kids show (like probably ages 10+) and i can only assume it’s on adult swim because the people at cartoon network are fucking cowards. let cool stuff back on prime time air and stop shoving it all to after hours!!! sometimes midnight is too damn late!
