[ID: a digital drawing of shuichi saihara and tsumugi shirogane from danganronpa v3: killing harmony. shuichi is stepping out of a black box, onto a bright green background. he is holding the side of the box and has a confused, slightly horrified expression on his face. to the right of him, tsumugi is bowing and gesturing to him. there are red curtains to either side of them, and a bright red "applause" sign above them. below them are a series of bright blue hands, clapping. Summary: Gesicht is the most advanced robot in Germany. Commissioned by Europol, he is a very effective police robot, capable of stopping crimes far more efficiently than his human compatriots. However, while following a string of murders, he finds himself afflicted with a strange disease that may cost him more than he can bear. It will be up to those dearest to him to save his AI from total collapse…if he doesn't work himself to death in pursuit of this complex case.
Characters: Gesicht, Helena, Hoffman, Original Characters
Relationships: Gesicht/Helena, possible Gesicht/Hoffman
Warnings: Descriptions of mild gore; racism; mental degeneration
Author Notes: The first chapter from this definitely too long Pluto AU my brain has been cooking on. Set 3 years before the war, I wanted to explore a little more of the social structure of Pluto while tying it more to the actual issues we currently face with "AI" and how those issues would look if the AI was actually, yknow, genuine intelligence and not a language model.
I've tried to keep it as much in the spirit of Pluto as possible, so it's still framed as a detective-y type story centering Gesicht.

i'm reading orv (omniscient reader's viewpoint) but I'm doing it on webtoon which is honestly just unbearable and painful KNOWING that the complete story is out there but still having to wait a week for each update T-T
I can't sacrifice the webnovel for the novel though because 1) I've gotten accustomed to the visual stimuli of characters and i barely remember any names and 2) the way the story is translated into English (i cannot read Korean) is so painful to my brain T-T
I need like... a veteran orv fan to spoil the storyline for me atp bc this is torture

hi so i saw that you saw my tag on the world post and i wanted you to know that it made me so fucking happy it resonated with you!!!! i saw that post a few months ago and i wrote a whole poem about it & thats a line from it!!!! i actually screamed a little when i saw your reblog!!!!
WHAT!!!!! A WHOLE POEM!!!! omg I would love to read this poem if you’d like to share 😭😭
I’m happy that the post inspired you 💖💖🥺 it’s been a humbling and emotional experience reading everyone’s responses to ‘The World Has Been Changed’, and seeing all the different ways it’s touched people.
I had no idea how powerful it would end up being when I first shared it, but I think the fact that it was created by the total coincidence of a mundane message from a computer dialogue box is a significant part of what gives it meaning.
it’s amazing that a machine, a computer program designed simply to be used as a tool for artists, was able to deliver a startling moment of clarity at exactly the right time for humans to connect with in in the way that we did.
coincidences like this feel like a reminder that all things are connected, and that humans will see art everywhere… I think this is because creation is one of our deepest instincts as conscious beings, and everything we make can be considered art in one form or another.
there is a deep sense of resonance when, miraculously, the things we’ve created give us back a creation of their own.

Will you be commenting on the Taylor drama?
I love the way this was worded, like I'm one of the siblings on Succession and the press has cornered me outside my penthouse to ask if I'll be releasing a statement on my family's latest scandal. Hehehe anyways.
Sorry but I just don't understand how anyone is shocked. Truly what has that woman ever done to successfully convince people that this is out of character for her. Like I don't want to diminish anyone's pain or anything but I see all these stans on here and over on Twitter in all this distress, having their very first epiphanies like "Hold on . . . does Taylor . . . suck??" And I kinda just have to chuckle at them cause like bless your hearts babes, but omg catch UP 😭
Lol because 1) she is a severely emotionally stunted person who thinks edgy British "bad boys" are hot like she's 12 years old, 2) she has no true deeply-held moral principles outside of issues that directly affect herself, and 3) truthfully, she seems to be suffering from a serious crisis of identity after the end of the longest and most significant romantic relationship of her life, and in my opinion is pretty clearly desperate to prove something to the world/her ex/herself.
The first reason is cringe but not news to longtime viewers, the second reason is pathetic but also not news (to those who can be honest with themselves), and the third is . . . understandable in some sense, but not pitiable enough to make me willing to humor this insufferable little episode she's having. I wish her luck on this humiliating rebound journey, but she is gonna have to walk that road on her own.
Normally, I always roll my eyes when people make these kinds of jokes, but given the circumstances I feel justified in saying: I can't wait to hear the breakup song about him, sis 🤡
