Why the Arcane fandom sucks, an essay.

There is no way to enjoy anything in this fandom I feel, and frankly as someone who isn’t a shipper in any fandom I find it suffocating that the jayvik discourse snuffs everything else out. I also find it disgusting how everyone bullies the non-shippers or OC shippers/self shippers in this fandom I’ve notice. I have also noticed a fair bit of misogyny as well, whether it’s from people who are against Mel and Jayce or Sky and Viktor, or people invading the Jayce x reader and Viktor x reader (especially the fem!reader) tags with jayvik ship material. It’s exhausting if I’m honest. I also hate how the fandom uses any shred of media interviews to basically “go see see look you’re wrong,��� to anyone who just wants to enjoy the original media in the way they want to and share it with others. Regarding the post production statements from cast and crew, my personal opinion is that they often try to give relatively (key word relatively) open ended statements while also giving the statement that would be most popular. You forget these people are PR trained. Now I think it’s perfectly fine if the cast and crew think it should be one way or another and I believe it’s still left just open ended enough for everyone to enjoy things how they want. I think I just get frustrated that people are a bit too stupid to see that people will always give the most PR popular answer (except the main writer apparently who I love how his statement is always like yeahhhhh anyways shut up, but everyone else’s statements are law? Idk kinda weird.)

I just think I’m very disappointed that my favorite show is slowly becoming something I hate because of the fanbase and I feel like I and other women are not allowed to enjoy it or our comfort characters unless they shut up and agree. And honestly I am disappointed that people on either side demand answers or for things to be official rather than letting everyone be happy. It’s called headcanon for a reason.

As someone who is ND and has hyper fixations it is hard to cope with this and it’s frankly frustrating and sort of embarrassing I get in such a tizzy that I feel like I can’t just go on IG or even Pinterest and enjoy just Viktor art without it behind shipping art. And I think it’s also ridiculous that I feel like I have to explain that no, it’s not me hating two men being shipped, frankly I think some of the art is adorable, is the fact I’ll put not interested in IG and I’ll get 20 more posts, or on posts that are like Sky x Viktor there will always be some jayvik shipper screeching there. At the end of the day it’s just annoying that no one is allowed to enjoy the same show we all love in a different way and are practically forced out of the internet spaces. I don’t even go on IG anymore because it was making me sort of upset, and tumblr is on thin ice but at least I can filter tags here. (But sometimes I would like a cheeky poly fic so I don’t really filter HAHA.) What I mean to say is that the rabid shippers are pushing BNHA levels, and what I mean by that is how feral they are and if you disagree they double down and sort of terrorize the rest of the fandom which frankly I don’t think is that small of a sect. (Those the disgusting and problematic stuff is not remotely on the same scale. The worst is misogyny and at times racism.)

Fandom and specifically fanfic has always been very fem coded in my experience and it makes me feel queasy that the fanbase for my favorite show actively seems to hate women. For example there was something on tiktok or IG about an artist drawing a racist depiction of Cait and then vitkor beautifully, or the fact shippers are racist towards Mel and Sky. I see SQUAT about time bomb or CaitVi, hell even Vander and Silco! I guess the crux of it is, a little diversity would be nice, character analyses that don’t revolve around sexuality or shipping, theory’s or expansions upon characters that sort of got back burnered like Sky or other councilors or more about the sort of rebellion and why Silco and Vander had a falling out. Writing critique on the show even considering that second season was so rushed imo!

Just let the women be in the fanbase bro. I don’t care that y’all are shipping two men, great, so you shouldn’t care what I and other women are doing too! You should be like cool we love the same show!

I am curious how women/fems/or just anyone burnt out from fandom and shipping feels and copes with this. Saying cope feels sort of cringe and like it’s causing me a mental breakdown, it’s more so the “bro please let me enjoy my favorite thing too,” feeling. We should make our own community with in the fandom so we can enjoy things as well with other people too. It’s okay and it makes me want to finally share my own writings I just don’t know where to start since I’ve been a lurker for 10+ years.

Niiverse: That old centaur family & random details.

Hey @loominggaia you know those centaurs living in the Hollow who I talked about a long time ago and said I’d draw sometime. I’ve been really putting off drawing them because I don’t feel like drawing 9 big horse bodies. Well I finally drew them but only the upper bodies because I’m still lazy. Happy early easter

Most of their bodies are mostly brown with white patches, except Valma & Miska are white/really light cream, Lahja is grey and Marja is greyish-brown. Valma, Miska and Aino have some shag on their hooves.

They wear a lot of clothing for centaurs and don't look too broke so I'm not sure about them living in the Hollow anymore. But they still live in Noalen in the same place the Vrinsas live at

Also here’s some random details about my ocs because I like having little minor lore. Like what magic can the magical guys do and what food they like:

I changed Charlio's name to Casio because Casio keyboard hahahahhaha. Also his eyes are orange but turned blue from a side effect from some medicine (the medicine is racist and only does that if you're Damijan and have orange eyes)

Magical specialities

I think most of them aren’t exactly professional mages, but just know some basic spells for living or that they learned from school or something

-Dr Awesomeness: Doesn’t do much magic, usually just carries around a ton of different ray guns which is simpler in Zareen. Can do all the usual maenad stuff and the x-ray and microscope vision thing, only has random future visions if she leaves the x ray thing off for a while

-Vanella: Illusions and later learns terramancy, is only about as powerful as a gaian made magical as an adult.

-Cresti: Photomancy

-Valerie: Enchanting animals, does it with a magic flute mostly

-Ignatius: Pyromancy, has also been trying some telekinesis to make up for the missing arm. But he hasn’t really gotten arcane education and just learns stuff from random public library books that probably don’t have much because zareen

Random thing that I haven’t talked about yet: A lot of my ocs have scars from random minor incidents because I was adding those a lot when I came up with them. Helena has faded scars on her temple and nose from hitting her head on the ceiling which is based on me. Also on her thumb from trying to cut open Strata’s rubik cube with a knife Yue obviously got all of hers before becoming a divine, I think a lot of them were just from dicking around in the woods as a kid. Noros keeps getting dared to do stupid shit Vanella had a little diamond implanted in her arm in case she gets robbed and needs money and has a scar from it covered with the bee tattoo. Also I think she had a couple toes removed from hypothermia Satara on her forehead from hitting a doorframe as a kid Pakila on her hand from a failed shitty magic trick of making something stick to your hand

Ignatius went to dentist as a kid and his parents were cheap and didn’t get a fae friendly dentist and he got poked with some iron which is why he has that little scar under his eye (Raccoon’s idea) Lahja got a fish hook stuck on the back of her hand once, Taru on her knee from tripping while playing sports, Emilia fell on a sharp bush or something, Miska on his arms from being scratched by a cat, Veeti from dropping a hot tray on his foot (might change that since he’s a centaur) All of Sebastian’s kids: Stjern on his chest, Estrada on her arm, Wilba on her leg and Glimmer’s forehead, from some kinda exploding lawnmower incident?? Idk why I gave my ocs so random ass lore

About Vanella: after getting transmuted into an elf, she of course moves to Mogdir, but has to leave the kids behind because it would be bad for commoners. Of course she feels bad about it and visits them when she can. She's annoying Helena at the cafe now. Pakila and Blera are now basically joint-custody with Mr. Garnet, Vanella’s parents, and Krinolina. Also Vanella still has the spider tattoo but she used an illusion to make it silver so it looks better on her.

How many requests can I make?

As many as you’d like! I don’t really have a limit; all I’m gonna say is that you’re getting free artwork so don’t be demanding, I don’t owe you anything at the end of the day! It’s not always going to come out looking the best, my energy and time isn’t a constant. But if you’re respectful and patient then I’ll try to get a single piece out in a day/two days, no longer than 5 days

Why does theirs looks better than mine? :(

I always put 100% into my art, but sometimes that 100% is different depending on outside factors like energy and motivation, mental and physical health, personal life, etc. if you ask really, really, really nicely, I’ll redo or add onto it :)) not only that, but depending on what you request, sometimes I’ll get really inspired, or sometimes I’ll use it as a warmup or cooldown; either way, 100% is always gone into it

I wish that there was any sort of societal normalization and representation for post-mastectomy bodies on women.

Historically I’ve always WANTED to be able to play female characters in games that are 100% flat chested (instead of ‘the minimum on the chest slider is anywhere from AA to B cup’); but now that I’ve actually surgically achieved that sort of body, it’s going to be so much more exhausting and occasionally aggravating and feel like “a step backwards” to not actually have that representation.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently, as I’ve been seeing screenshots of super cute and feminine fashion dress-up video games with very small breasted female characters; as I’ve been seeing art of transfemme OCs who are absolutely exuberant about having their breasts represented with the rest of their bodies; as I’ve seen illustrations that include triumphant showings of top surgery scars — but so far I’ve only seen that on chests that are framed/drawn in a masculine sort of way.

Or like it’s a weird experience, watching animated features and my brain doing this passive thing in the background: where it’s trying to plaster the flat chest shape and lack of breast-given shadows on clothing that’s present with the male characters; onto the female characters who have a completely different and much more narrow body shape; trying to like . . . create something remotely representative? And I’m definitely aware that if I were to ever commission anything I’d have to always always remember to make a point that “this character has a completely flat chest despite being massively feminine in presentation, please don’t draw any breasts or draw the clothing falling in a way that implies that breasts exist”. Not that ref notes aren’t something that’s ALWYAS needed but. I don’t know I guess it feels kind of lonely?

It reminds me that before my surgery, my spouse was attempting to find “totally flat” hentai for me. Given all the stuff out there, I thought it would be a pretty normal and easy to find variety in taste honestly? “Girls are cute and breasts are very unattractive to me” seems like it’d be a Not That Out There statement! but it was like . . . basically impossible to find? Like, with the way that the ‘flat chest’ tag was treated completely synonymous with ‘small chest’, with HOW the way trying to find it was failing, it felt like it was some weird thing no one could fathom anyone wanting on purpose?? Not even the _loli_ stuff had flat chests for goodness’ sakes. In the end, I don’t think we actually found anything that was genuinely “totally flat”.

It also doesn’t help that cis characters in media who DO have a flat/small chest are _near exclusively_ highly self conscious about it, or it’s played for bullying-laughs with other characters. Which makes enjoying them from a “I enjoy this body shape/want to relate to it in a happy way” very strained and difficult. The only exception I know of is the oktaku, Konata, from Lucky Star. (Who was really really nice to see as a character in my adolescence since she was ALSO pre-menarche despite her age AND not interested in sex despite her age AND not unhappy about any of it when she talked about it with the other girls. _Really_ important character.)

I’m sure a lot of it is not knowing _where_ to look . . .

and like just to be clear!, when it comes to my own body it’s not really a concern of mine what the “broad populace thinks of it” or anything — stars do I know where I am a curated experience /affectionate giggles/ — it’s not something that makes my self esteem suffer; but it would still be really nice to see other bodies like it. You know?

Kind of insane that Hasbro hasn’t given ANYTHING to a season from the Disney, Neo Saban, or Hasbro eras. Except Hyperforce. Which wasn’t a traditional season. And the only post Zordon stuff we’ve gotten is one time force book and like. Three In Space books (I’m counting Psycho Path as In Space because I don’t remember anyone from LG showing up)

The hierarchy has definitely been MMPR > In Space > Other (OCs or Hyperforce....which are basically glorified OCs, so.....) > Time Force; which I guess isn't totally shocking, but like the toyline, it's weird that they clearly know how popular In Space and Time Force are but never really capitalize on RPM's equal popularity. (Dino Thunder is also super popular but I wonder if they avoid that due to the can of worms that is Tommy's role in it.)

Though tbh the real tragedy was how Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury have been left behind by the comics. When BOOM first got the license they threw a bone to the seasons airing alongside their releases: Ninja Steel got its own annual story for Shattered Grid, Beast Morphers got some covers and cameos (even a special "first appearance" in Shattered Grid) - but Dino Fury has gotten one crowd shot appearance in Darkest Hour and Cosmic Fury nothing at all. And I have no clue why. You're not even going to make them one of the teams picked up by Hyperforce in 118??? Where's my Fern content!!!!!!!

I was a weird little freak and they didn’t know my mom and my dad left so ig that just made me defective or something. Anyways, my big day finally came where I could prove myself without it being subjective opinion or anything. Just plain and simple black and white. Nothing complicated about it. The new second in command was going to be chosen.

How that works is anyone who wants to try to get the newly opened position can volunteer to go in the fight pit basically. Everyone who volunteers goes in at the same time and it’s a big fight to the death (or until forfeit). The only rules once you’re in there basically are: you can’t leave the pit without forfeiting, you can’t kill someone who has forfeited and must allow them to safely leave the pit, you can’t un-forfeit, and the last one remaining gets to be second in command. Very simple rules, no one ever breaks them cuz there’s so few and stuff. People also tend to forfeit rather than die and most people don’t wanna kill the people they grew up with so there doesn’t tend to be as much deatb as you’d think there would be in a “fight to the death.”

Anyways, the big day. I volunteer ofc cuz then if I win, everyone will have to respect me and see me for my skills and how much I’ve trained and everything. My two former best friends (they don’t know what the internet is so I can use their names, haha (ooc: these are ocs. Using names won’t spoil any media or anything). Python F and Leaf M. I basically grew up with them. Python stole the job I had wanted for my whole life tho so I hated her a bit and then the two of them stopped talking to me and pretended we were never friends) also volunteered for the fight. Yayyy… Also I overheard them plotting before the actual fight. Python didn’t even want to become second in command. She was just helping Leaf become second in command so he could impress his stupid mom (she sucks. And that’s not just my opinion, like she objectively sucks. Not the point tho). I feel like that shouldn’t be allowed, but the rules say nothing about it so whatever. I didn’t say anything and it’s not like anyone would listen to me anyways. I’m still pissed about it tho

Fight happens, blah blah, long story short, I dropped some big rocks that were like loose along the walls of the pit on Leaf and the person he was fighting, which would be fine and dandy except for the fact that right as I did so and couldn’t stop the rocks from falling anymore, the guy Leaf was fighting forfeitted, making it so I *technically* killed someone who forfeitted and therefore not only eliminating me, but also getting me sentenced tl the death tunnels (exactly what it sounds like) cuz I killed someone I wasn’t allowed to and yk, murder is bad and all. Then freaking Python got second in command, stealing the job I wanted for a second time, but not only that! Her role was effective immediately. She just watched as I was taken away to the death tunnels and didn’t say a word. Didn’t use her new role to even *try* to save her childhood best friend. Like yeah, I hate her guts, but I find it hard to believe that I’d just stand by and watch her get sentenced to the tunnels without a single word. And everyone says I’m the heartless one! She didn’t even want the job!! If she saved me and everything got cleared up and I wasn’t found to be guilty of illegal murder, I could have taken the job she didn’t want anyways. I could be second and everything would be fine!

Yeah, I did in fact kill two people and not feel bad about it really, but that was allowed. It was legal murder and they knew what they were signing up for. The only issue is that technically that guy forfeitted. What was I supposed to do?? Reverse gravity????? I can’t just suddenly gain magical powers to reverse stuff. If I could’ve stopped the rocks from hitting the guy, I would’ve, but there was absolutely zero way for me to do so so idk what they expect of me. They just saw a chance to get rid of me and also not have me as the second of command, so they took it.

Anyways, though, I know I’m not the asshole, but I need to prove to someone that I’m in the right so I need more people to agree with me. Thanks in advance for helping prove I’m in the right B)

Oh! Good catch! This was the first time seeing a class rank for a fairytail OC (i was scrolling). I consider my OC Collector S class rank, it would be weird to put them so low since they’ve found a bunch of mythological inspired stuff and can wield them relatively easily. Fashionista and Blacksmith are A class rank because i felt they were plenty useful in their skills that are not absolutely based after bullcrap bogus superpower fighting *coughs* AHEM CANON *COUGHS*

Despite Fashionista’s ego, they’re the ones that take up the stealth parts. She’s agile and acrobatic, and those things take a lot of muscles so she has dancer muscles! She’s the best at talking because she talks a lot, good for distracting or being convincing or being a lawyer’s nightmare. Her business background comes in handy. Also I decided she went into aerial silk dancing because it just fits so perfectly with the way i envision her weaving around fabric on parts of her body to increase weight and pull. I should mention her threads and fabrics are thrown around in a manner akin to spider webs🕸️ and I think i was so cool for thinking that up 😎 and obviously know everything about fashion and fabric.

Blacksmith was a staple handyman for most of the paths as they’ve had to shield themselves a lot (i couldn’t figure out a barrier relic, in theory there are plenty of elements like ice or earth to make shields but that is so not protective enough), also nobody except him carries any swords. Collector has a precision knife but y’know… it’s better to cut with a sword. If anybody goes into battle mode, it’s better to rely on him although Fashionista can hold her own. Obviously they know everything about blacksmithing armour, weapons, and fighting.

It’s obvious why Collector is important but I’ll say it anyway. Collector is the one holding all the stuff. They’re always carrying their pocket dimension backpack, using an anti thievery seal so only they can open it. They try to not carry too much, but they have an anti gravity device to make it lighter if they need it. They’re the navigator as they like to research on treasures and therefore can also wield them, and can create and know machinery (I say machines which is true but arts and crafts too, but arts and crafts is vague and sounds stupid). They may know a lot about relics of all different types of objects, but they don’t specialize in any of them. They do talk to many speacialists in certain stuff, or collab with to make a new invention. Besides requip as a caster type, they did manage to also learn telekinesis (basic rules where you can’t lift organic/alive beings), which helps to hold up at least an abnormally heavy backpack but not enough for anything bigger. I think alchemy is a good fit, only because the ability to mend/bend objects would be nice. They always wears gloves because “You should never touch relics with your bare hands just in case of adverse effects.” They learned of multiple sealing magics, but I am more familiar with writing letter magic as a seal type magic so that’s my basis, but I’m sure there are other forms too. The Pegasus celestial spirit key has made me realize just how little use my team needs of them, but then I remembered how much Collector hates walking, then I made it so that they suck at walking. Despite having anti gravity shoes to jump higher (slowly tho) and to walk on walls, plus it’s equipped with a fast magic too although it has to activate separately (since there was no use to combine anti gravity that makes things so with fast magic, i think, idk), why run or jump when legs tired, emergency use only. I get that it’s completely unfair for Collector to be a catch all for every holder type magic, but they’re a nerd that specializes in knowing rather than utilizing, they’re not a master in any of them although they have a large power reservoir to make it seem more powerful. But power without control does not go anywhere. Collector’s whole magic thingy is meant to be abundant but unfocused, as it is the very foundation of their illness. And i rest my case for my overpowered yet balanced flawed OC.

Weekly Update October 13, 2023

This week had a bunch of ups and downs. It’s been busy but I’ve been trying to do what I can on the side.

I’m definitely falling behind on my inktober prompt sets, partially because of exhaustion but also partially because of time and social obligations. I was able to bring my sketchbook to dnd tonight and start inking everything up to yesterday’s prompt, although I need to go over it all with the bottle and brush before they’re finished. I do unfortunately need to sleep early tonight so I don’t think I’ll be able to do any more digital art tonight but I do have a sketch done for the next goretober prompt. I am very limited on time tomorrow (and this weekend in general) but once I get my comms done I can get to that and start sketching some more.

Animation hasn’t been too slowed by my busy schedule since I can work on it during lecture, but I am unfortunately still exhausted, so it is much slower than it was in early September. I’m almost back on pace, though. Jon’s animation for shot 1-4 is done except for his face and some cleanup work (Jon in particular has shoulders that like to fall apart). The sketchy assets for Emile are almost all exported, and reimporting them can also be done during lecture to save time. I’m not sure if I’ll begin animation on 1-4 for Emile or Tim once Jon is done, because Emile looks like more fun but Tim would give me an excuse to get some prop assets done that I’ve been meaning to. Prop assets take time from other drawings since k need my tablet for them so actually now that I think about it I’ll do Emile next to buy myself time to catch up on prompts.

I’m in a weird spot with music stuff, I’m finally getting an idea of what I want to do and how to do it, but then komplete kontrol decided to have a big ugly update that deleted a bunch of samples I was going to look at. If anyone knows how to relocate/reinstall/return the samples under the ‘loops’ tab of komplete kontrol (that is, the tab labeled loops, not any loops saved to the controller. My controller is not affiliated with Native Instruments and is not affected by the update), please please please let me know. I can try workarounds or other plugins, but my computer is a bit tight on storage space and I don’t know if I’d have room for another plugin. Looking into getting a new computer since I’m about at that point anyway but it wouldn’t be for a while yet. Idk I might try to work around it if I find time but that seems unlikely to happen until probably next Thursday.

I’ve been on and off thinking about OC story planning as well. I drew Vaughn the other day and people really seem to like him, plus I realized he could fit in pretty nicely into another underdeveloped story (the one with Parsley and Julie), but I’d need a basic structure for that before I can really do anything with it. I have a plasma appointment tomorrow morning so I’ll have time to think on it, although I’ll probably dedicate the time instead to music planning and shenanigans.

Lot going on, also a fair amount of homework stuff for uni as well, but I’m managing. Worst of this week is a lab report I’m not sure I’ll have time for but in the absolute worst case I can sacrifice my sleep on Monday or Wednesday night. I’d rather not but you gotta do what you gotta do. I’ll try to get going on the rest of the prompt set drawings but sometimes other things take priority.

My fun spooky scary OCs, the Santos-Umbra family!! Designed by @ask-artsy-oncie who made them look SO cool!!

I took a lot of inspo from the Addams family and the Munsters (obviously) but also stuff like Billy and Mandy, Edgar and Ellen, Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School etc. Anything with weird monstrous kids just living day to day lives.

Some info about each family member 

Paul Santos - What can be said about Paul really? He is a simple man. As mentioned above, he likes to grill and mow the lawn and he probably plays really old Rock n’ Roll in his car way too loud when he pulls up to the kids’ school. He collects 70s-80s memorabilia and is currently learning to knit. He is not very good at it but he figures he’ll improve some before winter when he’ll need to start churning out a bunch of little hats and mittens. His family knows full well that these garments will be terrible but they also know that they will be wearing them anyway as not to hurt Paul’s feelings. 

Paul strongly believes that the reason to be alive is to find joy and help others along in finding their joy, whether it be through humour, affection or an ear to listen. This was the disposition that convinced his wife, Venus, that he was a keeper. 

He’s always wanted a big family but he never expected....a family like this. But hey, life is all about taking left turns and he couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. Paul doesn’t always understand his non-human kids. He doesn’t know much about vampires or werewolves or any of that stuff but he knows about love, so he’ll live and he’ll learn and he’ll love. And hopefully he’ll do a halfway decent job. 

Venus Umbra -  A true lady of mystery. Is she a vampire? A ghost? A witch? Something far more frightening entirely? Nobody really knows for sure. (Except her lovely husband of course but he’s not gonna go blabbing about his wife’s business.) Some believe she dresses herself in shadows, that she eats the hearts of men to keep herself alive, that she was summoned to this world via some taboo ritual. If you ask her about any of this, she’ll just smile secretively, shrug and say “I’m a mom~” and she’s not wrong. 

One thing for certain is that Venus is not human and this has certainly had an impact on her life. She spent her entire childhood being passed around the foster care system but never managing to find her forever home. Potential families found something so eerily off about her that no one ever wanted her in their house for long. Venus promised herself that when she was grown she would take in children that were like her, so they wouldn’t have to feel that sort of rejection and over and over again. And she did just that! :)

Venus is a lot more equipped to handling her childrens’ “monster-y” problems than Paul but she still struggles when it comes to their “kid/teen” dilemmas, which Paul excels at. She’s not much of a people person and isn’t very good at making friends in this squeaky clean suburban neighbourhood. But she’s in the adapting phase. 

Killian (Age 15) - The oldest kid, a baby grim reaper with some crazy levels of power over death. When he was younger, he was an absolute terror. He really sold the whole “hellspawn child” thing and was constantly raising the dead and scaring the absolute fuck out of his classmates. 

But now that Killian is a teenager and he’s calmed the FUCK down and has basically decided “Ok enough being evil I want to be loved now” so he’s trying his absolute best to keep his head down and fit in at school and be a normal kid but obviously he’s still very eccentric and naturally spooky and now that he’s not actively trying to use his death powers, it’s become harder to control it so he’s struggling a lot with this whole “being a normal kid” thing. 

And also his little siblings keep dragging him into trouble because OF COURSE they need his powers for their shenanigans.

Killian is very insecure about being seen as scary and it’s sort of affecting to ability to be the person he wants to be. Fortunately, he has Elroy, his best friend who is scared of everything remotely creepy. But not of Killian, he would never be scared of Killian <3

Zosia (Age 12) and Nikolai (Age 11) - A baby werewolf and a baby vampire respectively. 

Zosia is prim, proper, sophisticated, studious and is absolutely hell bent on causing as much problems in this town as she is capable of. A Disney Villain in the making. She’s training to become a witch and her spells are coming along excellently. (There is very little Zosia is bad at. Except being nice.) 

She is usually the one behind and in charge of most of their evil little plots but she is also a very fluffy little puppy dog girl and her dad has a very hard time staying mad at her. Even when she commits atrocities.

Zosia has naturally acidic tongue and uses it on everyone, even her own family. She can be dismissive of them at best and outright disgusted by them at worst. And yet, by this stage, her family has come to understand her strange love language. She is furiously loyal and protective of her siblings and still likes to have Venus sing to her and Paul read her a story every night. And that’s not even mentioning Nikolai, her best friend in the world. 

Nikolai is just a very fun very very energetic vampire who likes to dye their hair wild colours and talk about anime but also they are here for the chaos. They don’t have the same diabolical drive that Zosia has but they’re prone to boredom so they’re often like “Yeah, sure, I’ll help you summon an eldritch abomination to unleash on the town. That sounds wild and I wanna see how that plays out.”

They are very much the sibling that deliberately pesters the others the most. Nik is annoying all the goddamn time but especially with Zosia who they annoy to the point that she’s screaming at them. And yet for whatever reason Nik and Zosia are constantly a duo. They’re just as much of a trouble maker as her so they work as a team. Together they are fucking unstoppable. 

Nikolai has a fascination bordering on obsession with humans depiction of monsters, especially vampires. They have gathered as many forms of media as possible, from the original Dracula novel to Twilight. They are a walking encyclopedia on the topic. Please ask them their opinions. Please for the love of God they are dying to talk about their opinions. 

Lizzy (Age 5) - The most stereotypically “creepy child” who is unnervingly polite, speaks in a monotone voice, stares at you with huge unfathomable eyes and tells you the time and date you’re gonna die and shit like that. But that’s just her way of making conversation. 

She means no harm whatsoever. She’s probably the sweetest of all the kids and doesn’t have a lot of evil in her. Unless it’s stuff like not wanting to eat her vegetables or being picked on at school. Then it’s like the fucking exorcist. Horrifying screaming, shit flying all over the room, the gates of Hell opening up. But that’s just Mog'drannel (Age ???) the demon who channels itself through Lizzy, either using her body to communicate or choosing to take up residence in her doll. They don’t really mean any harm either but they don’t like it when anybody is mean to Lizzy. They can usually be pacified by peanut butter sandwiches.

Cobra (infant) - Paul and Venus don’t know exactly where Cobra came from or what he is but he has snake eyes, a forked tongue and venomous fangs (which he has had since he was born weirdly enough) so they thought the name was charmingly fitting. 

There are allegedly prophecies all over the place about this child being the anti-Christ but his parents are all like “eh maybe? It’s too early to tell. We’ll see. Maybe he’ll be a dentist, who knows. We’ll support him in whatever he decides to do.” And people are like “he is LITERALLY an abomination. His bite has killed people” and they’re like “that doesn’t prove anything.” 

Be nice to Cobra. Sometimes he plagues the neighbours with terrible misfortunate if their loud music or leaf blowers wake him up from a nap. (Allegedly. It can’t be proven that he was responsible for anything.)

Despite a month going by from the last time you spoke to Jungkook in the park and put all of your feelings out in the open, spring air, you feel lighter than ever. Maybe most of that has to do with the simple fact that you’ve finally cut out a toxic, deadweight from your life. Regardless of what ends up happening with you and Jungkook as friends or more than that, at least you are at peace and happy with being yourself.

Besides, it’s not like you don’t ever see him. You see him when you visit the tattoo parlor (but you haven’t allowed yourself to be alone with him and he hasn’t initiated), you’ve seen him at impromptu nights out, at Yoongi’s apartment. Neither of you allow yourself to be alone with each other, since you had both agreed to wait. Even your text message thread with him is dry, though.

You miss him, hoping that a notification of his name with the bunny emoji attached to it flashes across the screen. But it doesn’t.

For all of his bravado, he feels somewhat shy around you on the few occasions that he’s seen you. Jungkook will go out of his way to avoid you, hiding (as much as he can) behind Mina and Mei.

He misses you. Jungkook misses the feel of your lips molding against his, the way you felt in his arms, but most of all he misses your shy smile and your loud laugh. He misses the way your eyes shine when you speak about something you’re passionate about.

Mina had said you were both being stupid, taking time away from each other when you both are denying the inevitable. But it made sense in your mind and his. You want to know what kind of person you were without the burden of Sora’s judgment weighing heavily in every frame of your life. You take the time you need to take to recenter yourself and feel somewhat whole again.

It doesn’t take you long to adjust to life without a former best friend. You quickly begin to notice how different you feel, how differently you approach basic things that you hadn’t really put much thought to before.

It feels so refreshing to not feel like you’re walking in some metaphorical shadow of someone who didn’t really care about you. Well, you think on some level, she did care. But along with the insignificant way she made you feel, it’s not enough to justify it. And you’re really grateful that you don’t need to anymore.

In fact, you’ve already deleted most pictures with her on your social medias. You haven’t quite been able to block her yet, but you think you’ll be ready to do that soon enough.

The ever elusive notion of time really does seem to heal nearly all forms of hurt.

“So,” Yoongi starts, sitting next to you on his new black leather couch and handing you a glass of red wine.

“Don’t start with me,” You say, poking his shoulder.

“I’m not starting anything with you,” Yoongi shrugs, but his eyes twinkle.

“Oh? That’s the voice you use when you have gossip or when you’re about to interrogate me,” You mutter, rolling your eyes with a fond smile.

“Maybe it’s a little of both,” Hobi chimes in, sitting on your other side. He leans back and drapes his legs over your lap, to which you instantly rest your hands over his legs.

“How lucky for me,” You mumble, taking a long swig of your wine. You’ll need it.

“How’s that witch doing,” Yoongi asks bluntly.

“I don’t know, I told you I cut her off and kicked her out of my house like a month ago,” You reply, “Did you forget already?”

“No, I just like hearing that you finally came to your fucking senses,” Yoongi says, “She was awful, but I’ll commend you for sticking it out for this long. Cheers, the witch is finally gone-”

“I believe the phrase is, ‘ding dong, the witch is dead’, but this will suffice,” Hobi says and yelps when you swat his shoulder.

“Don’t be rude,” You say, “But… thank you for helping me see the light. Even if it took a while. And I’m sorry it affected our friendship, too.”

“Ah, well, we’re all here now,” Hobi says, pulling you in for a side hug.

“Yeah. So cheers,” Yoongi says again, raising his glass to you both, “Cheers to you for choosing yourself. And to new beginnings.”

“You’ll make me cry,” You say honestly, offering your friends a watery smile.

“As if we’ve never seen you cry before,” Hobi scoffs. And it’s true- they are two of your oldest friends, and even if you’ve come to the realization that maybe you hadn’t been the greatest friend to them… That bond is hard to sever, and you’re grateful that they’ve always had your back.

“Drink up,” You say with a smile, “Cheers to new beginnings.”

Yoongi has always been a little sly, unassuming but always with several tricks up his sleeve. When he so desires to cause a little mischief and stir the pot a little. And Hobi is all too happy to engage.

Which is how you end up several glasses of red wine and rose deep (yes, you mixed, rookie mistake but who cares. You’re in the presence of some of your greatest friends, after all).

And then Yoongi goes in for the kill.

“How’s our Jungkookie,” He asks, without missing a beat. You choke on your wine and wince when it somehow gets lodged in your nose.

“I don’t know. Think he’s good,” You finally respond, your words sounding slurred, “Ask Hobi. They work together, if you didn’t know.”

“Oh, thanks for the information. I had no idea.”

“Happy to be of service,” You say, leaning into Hobi's side, “Ikindofmisshim.”

“What was that? Didn’t quite catch that,” Yoongi says, a self-satisfied smirk blooming on his lips. He heard you, of course he did, but you don’t seem to pick up on it.

“I said I kind of miss him,” You reply, a dreamy look in your eyes, “Do you think he misses me, too?”

Hobi chokes back a laugh but you hear it and offer him a glare. “Don’t make fun of me!”

“Nobody’s making fun of you, stupid,” Yoongi says poking your forehead, “And yeah. Your man doesn’t shut up about you. Always with those eyes around you.”

“He’s not my man,” You whine pathetically.

“Yeah, that’s a mystery to both of us,” Hobi says, “How long are you both gonna keep this up?”

“Keep what up?”

“This weird awkward dance you both do around each other. Avoiding each other when we’re all together. It’s kinda funny, like we all know you both wanna fuck so bad-”

“Shut up! That’s- that’s not- shut up!”

Yoongi and Hoseok both burst into laughter, drunken giggles loud in the living room and you can’t help but laugh with them.

Clubs were never your most favorite place to unwind, but you make an exception for tonight. For Mina and Mei, you’ll make an exception. The three of you had gotten ready together in Mei’s home, in between sips of cocktails that she had poured out. Mina had done your makeup for you, giving you the sharpest eyeliner you’ve ever seen on your eyelids as well as a bold red lipstick.

It’s not a club night if there is no red lipstick involved, after all.

Your makeup usually looks good when you apply it yourself, but Mina has a genuine eye and skill for makeup artistry. You recall her telling you that she’d always dreamed of going to beauty school but hadn’t pursued it. You had told her that it’s never too late to fulfill a dream and she had only smiled at you.

“Hey,” You say, “Is Jimin coming tonight? How’d your date last week go?”

“It was really good,” Mina says, something sweet in her voice, “He made me dinner and dessert. And then I sucked his soul from his cock an hour later and he even made me squirt. And yeah, he’s coming tonight to the club. We’ll see what happens...”

“Wow,” You nod, listening with wide eyes, “That sounds amazing. I’m really happy things are going well for you both. Including the horny stuff.”

“The horny stuff?” Mei laughs, “You’re cute.”

“Shut up,” You say, playfully shoving her shoulder, “It’s no joking matter that he made you squirt.”

“Yeah, I high fived him after,” Mina says slyly, “It was… a night. Can’t wait to have another night like that. But I’m gonna make him work for it tonight.”

“As you should,” You nod solemnly, “What about you Mei? Are we drinking until we blackout or are you playing hard to get with Seulgi?”

“Who says we can’t do both?” Comes Mei’s muffled response.

“Cheers to that,” You reply, “Are… Jimin’s roommates coming?”

“You think you’re slick, huh?” Mina snorts, “You wondering about Jungkook?”

“N-no, I haven’t seen Taehyung in a while either-”

“Tae’s coming, but Jungkook isn’t. Something about having a long week and wanting to chill at home.”

“Oh, gotcha,” You say, cheeks ablaze as you avoid her eyes. Unable to hold the slight sting of disappointment from your voice.

Mina and Mei see right through it but they say nothing, only handing you a refill of your now empty glass.

Despite the relatively steady stream of drinks in your hand (an illusion, really, you’ve been nursing the same two drinks all night), you’re almost completely sober. In fact, you’re more tired than anything else. It seems that Jungkook had the right idea to stay home tonight. You’re rather benignly jealous of his decision.

You enjoy dancing and singing with your friends, feeling the thrum and excitement of music and your close companions bursting through your veins.But environments like this overwhelm you sometimes. All of the flashing lights, sometimes smoke and all of the people… Tonight seems to be one of those nights.

“Wanna dance?” Comes a rich, velvety voice behind you to the right. It’s Taehyung, and you’d rather dance with Taehyung than anyone else in this club. With the exception being Jungkook, but he’s not here right now.

“Okay,” You nod, taking his hand when he offers it to you. Your thoughts flit to Jungkook briefly.

Taehyung is good company, always keeping you with a smile on your face and filling you up with laughter. He keeps you close with easy, gentle movements as you both belt out the words to whatever song is playing on the speakers. But Taehyung has always been observant.

“You don’t really wanna be here, huh? I’d take it personally, if I didn’t know you,” Taehyung teases.

“No, it’s not that,” You murmur, “Just have never been a big club goer, that’s all. Jungkook had the right idea in staying home.”

“Yeah,” Taehyung muses, “What are you two doing?”

He’s almost as blunt as Yoongi (who’s also in some corner of the club. Usually, he keeps you company at things like this, but conveniently, he’s nowhere to be found.).

“If I knew I was going to be interrogated in this club, I would’ve drank more,” You say dryly. Taehyung laughs at that and squeezes your shoulder.

“You both deserve to be happy. Just want you to know that.”

“Thanks, Tae,” You say, a grin spreading across your face, “I guess you’re not as sleazy as Mina says you are-”

“Me? Sleazy?” Taehyung gasps, pretending to be affronted. You roll your eyes and offer him your hand.

“Wanna dance?”

Taehyung turns you around and holds your hips tightly in his hands, dancing with you to the beat of the music. It’s nice to be held like this, even if it’s a little dirty.

You don’t notice a pair of sly eyes watching you from across the club.

By the time you excuse yourself to catch a breath and grab some water from the bar, you realize that most of your friends are off doing their own thing. It gives you a second to people watch from the second floor of the curb and lean on the railings, taking in your surroundings. Despite stifling a yawn.

You relish in the cool feel of the icy water flooding your senses, waking you up a little more. You wonder if you can convince Yoongi to take you to get fries or tacos after the night ends. At the thought of tacos, you salivate a little.

But your taco fueled fantasies are broken when a few girls try to push past you to get to the bar. You mumble a soft apology, but it goes unheard. The unmistakable sound of a voice, a voice that you’ve only recently been able to put out of your mind, breaks through the barrier and it makes your heart drop.

It’s an angry call of your name. Your stomach churns, and suddenly you’ve never wanted to learn the art of teleportation more.

Sora, in all her bitter glory, stands in front of you with a full drink in her hands. Beside her are two of her friends, looking resigned and trying to plead with her that they should go.

“Missed me so much that you followed me here, huh?” Sora sneers.

“I’m not even going to entertain that with a response. Or you for that matter,” You say tiredly, trying to step past her.

“All your friends left you. Look at you all alone,” She says and you roll your eyes with a dry laugh.

“I’d rather be alone than have anything to do with you, Sora,” You reply easily, “I’m leaving now-”

But she sidesteps you again, gripping your forearm and looking at you with so much animosity that it makes your skin crawl. Had she always looked at you like that?

“I can’t believe you just dropped me like nothing. After I gave you everything,” Sora says, as if you had said nothing at all. She’s clearly a little drunk, telltale signs of her drunkenness clear on her face. Her words are slurred and she stumbles a little on her feet. You cringe. You don’t want to have this conversation with her whether she’s sober or drunk.

“You treated me like I was nothing,” You snap, “I don’t want to discuss this with you. Now let me go.”

“Or what? There’s nobody here ‘cept you and me, babe,” She says, her lips twisting into a cruel smirk. Her friends have disappeared and warning bells start to go off in your head. She’s right, all of your friends have dispersed. But you manage to fish your phone out of your purse while she rambles to you and send a text to the groupchat, simply stating “pls help, Sora is here”.

Dread seeps into your pores. You just want to be done with her presence.

“Sora, just let me go. Nothing you say will change anything,” You say heatedly, “Fucking let go of me!”

You try to yank your arm out of her grip but her nails are sharp against your skin.

“I loved you, you know that? I fucking gave you everything, you were my best friend,” Sora hisses, “I just wanted to you be happy. To see that I’d do anything for you.”

It takes a minute for the dust to settle but you suddenly begin to understand. “You hurt me! That’s not friendship or l-love, or anything remotely close to it. Nothing you say will change that. I don’t want you around anymore. Take a hint, Sora,” Your voice is cold and deadly, nothing like what Sora is accustomed to.

“Please, let me go,” You beg softly, “Why won’t you let me go?”

Tears spring into your eyes, both from the force she’s holding you with and from how much this is exhausting you.

“What does he have that’s worth all of this?” Sora hisses.

“It doesn’t matter what he has. I like him and I enjoy spending time with him, that’s all that should matter, and I’m not explaining Jungkook to you,” You say coldly, “You lost the right to know a long time ago. If you took your head out of your ass for two seconds, you’d know that this friendship was over months ago.”

By now, both of your voices have raised in volume and pitch, attracting the attention of bystanders. This makes no sense to you, your head is starting to hurt from the implications of her words. You just want to go home. By now, Yoongi has seen your text and is trying to get to the bar to rescue you from Sora.

“He won’t give you what you need,” Sora exclaims.

“Shut up! Just fucking stop talking about him,” You shout, “I’m so fucking sick of this, just leave me the fuck alone. Your opinion doesn’t matter to me anymore, just drop it!”

You feel the need to defend him though, “He’s kind, he has a big heart a-and, you know what, I don’t need to explain myself to you. Just fucking drop it! Leave me alone!”

“You are so fucking blind! You’ve always been such an oblivious fucking bitch,” She screams at you and your blood goes cold. You’ve seen her angry, but not like this not when her eyes are blown over with rage.

Yoongi’s heart is beating in his ears as he tries to find you- this club is fucking huge, where the hell could you be? He’s already sent a text to Jungkook, telling him that you might be in trouble at the club and that nobody could find you.

“Where is he then? If he’s so kind, he must be here right?”

“What the fuck is your problem? You’ve always had a stick up your ass about him specifically- I mean you’ve always have a stick up your ass, but with him it’s like something crawled up there and died-”

“You couldn’t even cuff him? You dropped me for him and you didn’t even cuff him?”

“That’s none of your business!”

“What are you afraid of, babe?” She sneers cruelly, “Afraid he’ll find something he doesn’t like? Or are you afraid you’ll find something that you don’t like?”

Frustration and hurt boils in your belly, causing wetness to pool in your eyes. You shut your eyes tightly, willing the feeling to go away. With all of the calmness you can muster, you throw her hand off of you and rub your forearm gingerly.

Before you can say anything, her eyes narrow to slits. You don’t even have time to react before you feel a sudden wetness drench the front of your top. Remnants of her drink are splashed on your torso and you gasp, rage flaring through your veins once more. How dare she throw her drink at you? Before you can do anything though, a pair of arms circle your waist and you’re pulled into a strong chest.

You recognize the scent of his cologne immediately and the feel of his leather jacket. “Jungkook,” You mumble, looking up at him. He immediately gives you his jacket and pushes it through your arms wordlessly.

“Hi,” He murmurs, taking in your wide, nervous eyes and the trembling of your hands. He brushes a thumb over your cheek before standing in front of you and you take his hand in yours. Jungkook squeezes reassuringly.

He offers Sora a long, hard look and a shake of his head. She almost balks at his intense gaze. Almost.

“C’mon baby,” Jungkook finally says, “Let’s get out of here.”

“My knight in shining arm-” You shiver once you’re both outside the club, away from the eyes of strangers. You cut your train of thought off when he pulls you close to him, cupping your cheeks with both hands. Worry dots his eyes and he presses his forehead to yours shakily.

“Jungkook?” You say softly, “Is everything-”

He exhales, a shudder felt against your skin. He seems to be at odds with himself, an internal battle dancing in his dark eyes. But Jungkook makes up his mind and cradles your face again, the gentle pads of his thumbs brushing over your cheeks.

“I missed you,” Jungkook croaks, “Shit, I miss you so fucking much. Can I kiss you, baby? Is it okay if I kiss you?”

You nod instantly, breathing out a soft ‘yes’. Whatever this recent development means for both of you, it makes sense. You want this and you want him.

And then he kisses you as if it was meant to be, as if he’s been thinking about your lips every minute of every day- soft, balmy lips against your chapped, red lips. Jungkook swallows your gasp, somehow brushing against the parts of your heart that missed him. His kiss is sweet and desperate as his tongue traces over your teeth before dipping further into your mouth. Your knees weaken slightly, but he holds you steady with one arm around your waist and his other hand cradling your cheek.

You’re overwhelmed by him and from the events of the night. Whatever wetness had gathered in your eyes clings to your lashes before dropping down your cheeks.

“Baby,” Jungkook says softly. He gathers you in his arms, hugging you tightly. You sink into his hold on you, inhaling deeply. The faint thrum of his heart calms you slightly.

“I missed you,” You reply, voice barely above a whisper, “Fuck, I missed you a lot.”

He kisses your forehead with a small smile, the hint of his dimples making you smile, too. Jungkook looks at you as if you’re transparent, trying to study the reason for your wet lashes and the tear stains down your face. A feeling of understanding passes between you both, calming your racing heart and your nerves.

“Jungkook,” You murmur, “Take me home.”

“Yours or mine?”

“Yours,” You reply, not really wanting to be in your home just yet, “It’s only fair, since you spent the night at my place last time, right?”

“I guess I can’t argue with that,” Jungkook chuckles. He kisses you one more time before adjusting his motorcycle helmet over your head. When you wrap your arms around him, you press a kiss to the back of his neck and behind his ear.

He shivers.

Jungkook can tell you’re in your head a little bit, a little quiet and shaky. Even as you head into his bathroom to change into the clothes he’d given you, you couldn’t quite meet his eyes. When you returned from the bathroom with a bare face, you’re lost in thought, biting down on your bottom lip and chewing harshly.

He’d pulled you into his arms, applied his clear balm on your lips, and chided you for treating your lips like that.

You only smiled weakly at him and meekly asked him to hold you under his covers. He doesn’t deny you.

He’d caught the tail end of Sora’s tirade at the club, and he’d begun to understand. He thinks you had begun to understand, too.

“Hey,” Jungkook whispers into your hair, “Do you want to talk, baby?”

“I don’t know what to say,” You admit softly, pressing your hand over his.

“I can talk for both of us,” Jungkook says, kissing your temple, “Can I do that?”

“Yeah,” You mumble, threading your fingers through his and squeezing.

“I heard some of what Sora said,” Jungkook says and you tense up but he wordlessly tells you to relax, “I think in some weird, twisted, fucked up way. She loved you and her way of showing you how was keeping you to herself. It’s shitty, but it made sense to her. But you don’t owe her anything, baby. Not a damn thing.”

“Yeah,” You sigh, “I feel really gross and I don’t know why.”

“That’s alright, baby,” Jungkook says, rubbing your arm, “You didn’t know. That’s not love, not really. You’re safe here.”

“I know,” You say, turning to look at him with a small smile, “I trust you.”

You turn fully in his arms, resting your head on his chest and wrapping an arm around his waist. His heartbeat lulls you to sleep, as well as his gentle fingers over your back. It’s so easy with him, and you don’t need to think too much. Just how you like it.

I can’t answer this I’ll feel bad. But I will tell you who I’m currently obsessed with who is my little scrimble insane scientist Mr Julian Romero. I made him for my friends superhero rp and basically he created a chemical that absolutely changed the world and made it so everyone can have superpowers at will but his lab partner and gay boyfriend??? Kinda. STOLE it from him and took the credit.

So he became evil and now he seeks to tear everything down and also is super fucked up and bioshock style DIYs his superpowers at will here he is. Hiiiiii Julian.

Blorbo I’ve had the longest:

Alright this ones a little complicated cause I am not CERTAIN. Like it depends how we’re defining this. Cause longest consistent use? I’d say my dnd oc Ferrer since I’ve been consistently using him for like 4 years now, but like I guess longest that I’ve had NOW without dropping it would be Amar because I literally just revived him to use him in the above mentioned rp.

So I made Amar in like 9th grade as a little plot of goofy teenage superhero’s, but I since have done a nitty gritty reboot of him for adult reasons so uhh tw for drug use/addiction mostly.

SO BASICALLY amars story is he was raised in an orphanage, which was fine, but got sucked into a bad crowd in the punk scene and eventually got heavily dependent on like. Heavy substance use. Uh one night after a party he got himself a cab to go crash in his little ‘house’ (he’s homeless but he had a Spot so he was headed there), and the cab got absolutely t-boned BAD by a truck. Unbeknownst to him some superhuman chemicals got into his stuff earlier and he basically died in the crash except he Can’t Die so he’s in this weird dead not dead space. He didn’t realize this was the case until he was getting the shit kicked out of him in a dive bar bathroom. I love him he’s so funny and lovely. His only superpower is that he Can’t Die other than that he has normal guy abilities and hits bad guys with pipes. He’s doin a little better since then if ur worried he may be dead but he’s clean mostly and living in a group home type dealio.

If you wanna hear more about him I have his backstory written in more detail on a doc but this will suffice for this ask, here is is <<3

Favorite design blorbo:

Ok so I kinda covered this when going over the other ask with favorite blorbo and why questions but I’ll dive more into WHY I like his design. I present once again Mr Harysin!

So this guys gonna get highlighted cause I have put so much work and effort into the way I dress this man.

The main features of his outfits that I nailed down straight away is a very high waisted look, very tight and movable, but stylish. I mostly based it off matador silhouettes and you can see I was playing with like ceremonial militaristic dress like with those pauldron sketches? Anyways shape, places of flare and hang and angles is super important and has always been super important for this guy. With his outfit iterations it always keeps the same staple things like skin showing in the same place, but gets sharper and rounded or darker depending on where he is In his arc. Over time he’s been leaning further into a red and black palette and his angles have been gettin sharper to reflect the way his character is progressing rn (poorly but also? Kinda good for him), and I also absolutely fucked around with the symbolism in his gloves which I could and have written an essay on but I feel like it’s too much to analyze here. But I will just take this opportunity to say that the amount of intention I put in this guys design?? Is crazy and insane and you should look at it cause I’m very proud <3 also he’s sexy.

I want to preface by saying I’m not here to attack you, and I’m not the minor like before, but an active member on your blog. I’m here to educate you as to why your reasoning behind aging a character up is completely wrong and pedophelic, as someone who has experienced this firsthand, please hear me out. First off, hi, as someone who’s been groomed multiple times at the ripe age of 12, I can speak from experience when I say that “lines on the screen” are never just that. Saying that “they’re just lines on a screen” still reflects on pedophiles irl and how it’s okay to groom children by making them interact on sexual activity if you just “make them older in this version.” They still see it as okay. If don’t understand, think of it like this.

Would you age a child up because “now they can be an adult” and/or “they’re just lines on a screen”? No, of course not, because that’s pedophile behavior. You would still be attracted to the child, otherwise why would you ”age them up” so you can make kink content on them? That’s weird. Same as kids, they are minors. They are not adults. The fact that you want to age up characters so you can make kink content is dangerous. Please think about this. You can find other adult characters or even make oc’s similar to them but it’s never okay to “age” minors up… That’s literally saying you want to see and make kink content of them. Except now the only difference is they’re “older” so it’s now “legal”.

Sigh.

Literally hundreds if not thousands of people are doing literally the same thing, there's some REAL dead dove stuff going on out there, and I don't equate the fictional, made up art and wavs I do with non existent people, anything that could be seen as pedo behavior, because these characters are developed personality wise, so what is the issue with using a separate AU???

Obviously there will be people who disagree with me, and there are people who are indifferent.

I’m trying to figure out where to start- well explaining the characters first make sense- all of it is below the cut!

There are currently three main characters!!! The magical girls!

First there is Cherry!

She’s a simple teenage girl who had very few worries up until becoming a magical girl! While she was bullied when she was younger, she ignores that stuff now and tries to not let it hurt her. Cherry is just. Very energetic and happy! She can be very, random and chaotic too. In school life, she’s very popular! Since she’s pretty, good at sports, and a part of the Girl’s Tennis Team :))! She’s best-friends with Venus! They met before Cherry’s transition and during the time she was getting bullied at school. Venus just stood up for her one day and they’ve been together since then :))!

Then there is Venus!

She’s is a very dedicated student! She excels in all classes and refuses to accept failure. Venus is very highly thought of in her family. They are all super proud of her :)) though they unknowingly put a ton of pressure on her to be perfect. She’s terrified to disappoint her parents and siblings. A few things that Venus is skilled at is hand to hand combat and fencing :)! She is very very very in love with Cherry. She fell in love during Cherry’s transition, when she first came out to Venus. She can be very. Serious and strict. The only time you can see her smile is with Cherry or when she’s done something she’s proud of. She’s President of the Student Council and is part of the Fencing Club.

Last there is Rumi!

Honestly a lot of her stuff is,,, for later in the story. But damn I wanna talk about her so bad so you get to hear it-

Rumi is a very charismatic classmate. She is in the same year as Venus and Cherry. She’s the leader of the Drama Club! And she is loved by so many students- tons of boys and girls have crushes on her and she’s gotten a ton of confessions. She’s very flirty with everyone too and rarely says anything rude. Rumi is actually very insecure and genuinely hates herself with her whole heart. She was bullied a ton and never really had anyone like her before. She changed herself majorly when she got to a new school. She was so scared to not be liked so she turned herself into a heartthrob!

Okay okay now my favorite part of Rumi. Later in the story he transitions :DD!!! So now I’ll be using he/him for Rumi :))!! I wanted to have a character realize how to love himself and just. I always wanted to make a trans ftm character I can project on!! He keeps the same name and his appearance mostly the same!! He cuts his hair a bit and he has a small side pony tail!

Okay I think that’s it for character explanations-

Next is the story explanation!

Cherry, Venus, and Rumi make a deal with an alien from another planet! The alien is able to give people powers through deals and stuff!

That sounds weird but just. Think of it like a Madoka Magica situation? Except the alien thing wants them to make deals with him because his universe is in danger and he wants them to protect his and their universe.

There’s this. Evil Alien who is currently just called The Puppeteer! He wants to be like. The ultimate ruler and just bring. The end of the world on. He was defeated once before by a magical girl group but he is back now! He just needs to get his full power back etc etc. and the way he does that is by getting old alien artifact things that are currently on earth!

That probably sounds very confusing but!!! So the whole story is the girls trying to prevent him from getting these pieces and becoming powerful again :))!! A lot of. Slice of life is thrown in and. Self discovery!!!

Sorry if that was super confusing 😓 or long lol!!! But I love them- there’s a ton of other information but this is just like. “Basic” stuff!!!
