EMMETT FORREST IS PROBABLY INSECURE OF WHO HE IS!

Okay now that I’ve got your attention, let me explain. In the song ‘Chip On Your Shoulder’, he explains how he grew up having to work extremely hard for everything. He doesn’t find this to be a bad thing, or at least that isn’t implied. He talks about how he only really had his mom. Emmett also mentions that there were no good male role models in his life.

So we all know that Elle and Emmett are engaged now, right? And seeing how their relationship was absolutely wonderful, they’re very likely to get married.

If you’re marrying someone who still has a good connection to their parents, you’re expected to meet them. But does anyone else consider the fact that Emmett was probably anxious to do so?

I mean, his mom did his best and that was enough and he loved her. Don’t confuse that fact. But he was probably afraid to make a bad impression, or terrified that Elle’s parents would think he wouldn’t be good enough.

And if Elle and Emmett chose to have kids, is anyone wondering about if Emmett was confident in being a good father? He had no good male role models, remember?

And he doesn’t even have to be scared about these things only in these circumstances. I have a similar relationship to someone (though it’s friendship) like how Elle and Emmett do, and I worry these things a lot.

What I’m saying is, give me content of Emmett being self conscious and scared. Content of him trying to stay put together because he’s survived this long, but fears creep back up into his mind and overwhelm him. Give me content of insecure Emmett with Elle there right alongside him to convince him he’s wonderful.

jack was totally trying to make kat jealous, and i’m tempted to say it kinda WORKED ? wonder how anna b feels about being used though... poor thing didn’t seem to have the night of her life. sulked much, dear ? i hate to admit it, but she and jack were kinda cute. it’s all fun and games... r i g h t ?

maureen was the center of attention as usual, but i knew that “ LOVE TRIANGLE “ would be back to bite her in the ( amazing ) ASS. inviting both mark and joanne ? you know what they say -- one can take the girl out of hicksville...

speaking of claude, what was he on ( this time ) ? it’s a good thing mark was there to help his friend out, that boy was sweating like a SINNER in church and we were a l l there for it ! seemed to bring up some bad memories for both of them, though...

Trans Emmett Forrest Headcanons

(Hey, these are some of my trans Emmett Forrest headcanons that I wanted to get down. I’m new to researching trans issues so if anything in here is inaccurate or harmful, don’t hesitate to let me know and I’ll amend it accordingly!) 

Emmett knew he was different from the other kids in his class, but didn’t realise he was trans until he was about 10/11. Initially, the idea terrified him; all the male role models in his life had been scumbags or wastes of space, and he didn’t want to be anything like them. He buried himself in his work to keep from thinking about it, and as he researched more and more, he found himself being drawn to trans and LGBT topics. The idea of it became less scary, and he started dressing differently. What little pocket money he was given was saved up for buying more masculine clothing that made him feel like his true self. His mom, busy with night school and work, didn’t question it.

Emmett comes out to his mom about being trans a few weeks before applying to Harvard: he wants college to be a fresh start, and to allow him to start living at the person he has wanted to be for years. He’s ridiculously nervous, but his mom assures him that she will love him no matter what. The revelation isn’t quite what Emmett’s mom was expecting – she was expecting Emmett to come out as gay rather than trans – but she shows him just as much love and acceptance as she would have done otherwise.

Her only sadness is that Emmett had been keeping this inside for so long, and she apologises for any influence she or her boyfriends have had in forcing him to stay closeted. That apology is what sends Emmett over the edge, and both he and his mom have a good cry.  

Emmett’s mom has a massive influence over helping Emmett choose his new name: he values her opinion, and it helps them feel close. Emmett was originally named after a relative, but no male names in his family appeal. Instead, he chooses Emmett as a variation of his dead name, and it still allows his mom to call him “Em”, her chosen nickname since his birth.

“Emmett” also has a range of meanings for Emmett himself. He takes strength from the fact that it links to the Hebrew word for truth, something he strives for constantly. He also likes its Germanic links to the word “universal”; as an advocate for equal rights, he likes that he can represent that in his name. Additionally, as an enormous sci-fi fan, he gets no end of satisfaction about being named after Doc Brown from Back to the Future.

Being uncertain about his gender identity stopped Emmett having a bat/bar mitzvah at the traditional age; he wasn’t sure which one he wanted, and besides, his mom didn’t have the money for such a lavish event and he wasn’t close enough with his relatives to warrant one anyway.

Emmett does however choose to have a bar mitzvah at 30 – during that time, he’s reconnecting with his faith, and becoming more comfortable with his gender, and it just feels like the right time.

Transitioning at Harvard is difficult – not more so than Emmett expected, but it’s certainly not easy. He is frequently misgendered by students and staff alike (Callahan is particularly bad for this, often misgendering Emmett on purpose to undermine him) despite wearing a “he/him” pin most days. He learns to keep to himself and works his way to the top of the class without joining any study groups – not that he was invited to any anyway. It’s lonely, and exhausting, but it pays off when he gets Callahan’s internship and sails through the rest of law school. Eventually, he’s so successful that they have to start taking him seriously.

As a consequence of his hard work, Emmett is the first trans editor of the Harvard Law review, and the first trans valedictorian. Later in life, he is one of the first trans professors at Harvard Law.

Emmett specialises in family law – he doesn’t want anyone to go through the horrors he experienced as a kid, and especially wants to make sure all kids have a safe and loving family. Trans folks (especially kids) are obviously one of his priorities; he’ll often take their cases for free, just to ensure they get decent legal representation. He also specialises in divorce and domestic abuse cases, as he wants to support people like his mom. His favourite cases by far are adoptions though; when they go well (and they often do in Emmett’s hands, because he fights damn hard to make sure no-one gets left behind) they light him up for weeks at a time.

Emmett doesn’t start taking hormones for his transition until after he meets Elle – they’re expensive and difficult to get hold of without insurance, and all of his money is either going to living costs (rent, food, bills) or into a savings account to buy his mom’s dream house. Instead, he binds and takes strong enough birth control to stop menstruation almost permanently. He struggles with dysphoria but hides it as much as he can, using baggy clothing as a defence mechanism.

Elle finds out Emmett is trans entirely by accident. He’d been intending to tell her for several months, but with law school being so busy, it never felt like the right time. They’re studying together one night and Emmett had been particularly grouchy that day. Midway through a playful argument, Emmett had stood to collect a book from a higher shelf, and Elle had noticed a bloodstain on the back of his jeans. She quickly puts the dots together and gives Emmett her (his technically) hoodie to hide the blood whilst walking him back to her room to clean up and get the necessary supplies. Emmett is mortified, and upset, but Elle reassures him that this doesn’t change anything about their friendship and that she still adores him. When he still seems nervous, she introduces him to her secret Milky Way stash, which makes him smile.

Emmett is exhausted by the whole ordeal and stays the night; usually, he would sleep on the floor when crashing at Elle’s place, but she won’t hear of it when he mentions how bad his cramps get. The next morning, he wakes up to find Elle sat at her desk, surrounded by bright pink documents. Apparently, Delta Nu has a wide array of resources for trans members, and Elle had stayed up all night studying them all to learn about trans life, and how to support her friend. Seeing her, bright and chipper as she researches, is the first moment Emmett realises he might be in love with her.

Emmett was worried that, after coming out, Elle would be less comfortable with physical affection, but if anything, she gets cuddlier. She grabs his shoulders when excited, playfully swats him during arguments, and wraps herself around him in increasingly frequent hugs. He adores them; they make him feel safe and confident and warm. If they hold for slightly longer than just friends, it’s just because Elle is such a damn good hugger, right?

And then she buys him the suit and good God, he feels like his heart is going to explode. Wearing clothes that fit, having her look at him as if he’s something worth seeing, feeling good about his body after so so long: it’s overwhelming. So yes, he does go in for a kiss when she wraps her arms around him; he’s not sure if it’s romantic or just exuberant, but he goes for it, because he adores the woman in front of him, and wants to let her know. When they settle into a hug, he’s a little shocked, but he doesn’t appreciate it any less. It still remains one of his happiest memories.

Emmett would be reluctant to admit it, but the Wyndam trial terrifies him. Not only is it his first case as co-counsel, but the eyes of the world are watching, judging. Elle grabs his hand the first time they walk into court together, and he can feel the butterflies in his stomach take flight. It’s that feeling – plus his new confidence and his complete belief that Elle is onto something – that enables him to confront Nikos about his boyfriend. Showing off his ass was a bit of a cheap move, but it worked, and he swears he saw Elle blushing when he turned back around. Serves her right for that bend and snap – he could barely keep himself from jumping up with Warner and Enid when she’d demonstrated it.

The next few days are a whirl – they’re riding high on Emmett and Elle’s success at court, then Callahan ruins everything, and he can feel Elle slipping through his fingers. He panics – he’s already lost so many people, but this one hurts more than anything, like he’s being stabbed over and over again. He feels his throat close up every time he thinks of her leaving, and the words don’t come out until her door is shut and she’s out of reach. He buries himself in research that night – anything to help her stay, and to keep the case going even without her. He doesn’t sleep but doesn’t drink Red Bull to stay up; his heart is already hammering, and besides it reminds him of her too much. So he’s late to court next morning and he feels like he’s running through treacle without her. And yet there she is, shining in her pink glory, and he wants to scoop her up in his arms and never let her go.

But they’ve got a case to win first, and he settles for whispering in her ear. They do it easily – Elle really is a genius and she’s come so far. When they win, he can hold her, he can finally hold her. Warner comes and goes, his proposal rejected before Emmett can really get worried. Elle finds him soon enough after, slipping her arm around his waist and pulling him close. They smile for the cameras, but when they look at each other, both grins get a tiny bit bigger.

Eventually they wind up back at Elle’s place, sprawled across her bed. They’re both too exhausted to do much more than hold hands, but it’s the most comfortable Emmett has ever felt, and when Elle eventually sits up enough to pull him into a kiss, it’s perfect.

After the Wyndam case, Elle and Emmett discuss what they plan to do with their share of the legal fees. Elle, not needing the money, uses her share to buy Emmett a year’s supply of hormones to help start his transition.

During the early stages of his transition, Emmett experiences really bad acne and gets self-conscious about it; he worries that clients won’t take him seriously if he looks like he just walked out of high school. Luckily, Elle is on hand and her expert knowledge of skin care helps soothe the problem, and the acne fades much faster than expected.

Emmett also gets self-conscious about his weight during his transition; he isn’t particularly overweight, but the redistribution of fat leads to him having a little tummy, which when combined with his wider hips and fuller thighs, make him look heavier than he used to. Elle thinks it’s adorable, but understands his concerns, and helps him dress in a way that makes him feel comfortable, but still shows off his body rather than hiding it.  

Emmett’s voice takes a long time to settle when cracking. It seems to get worse when he’s nervous, which is an extra stress when trying to take on difficult court cases. Once, during a particularly gruelling trial, he loses his voice completely, and had to pass the case onto Enid while he went home to recover. Luckily, Vivienne points him to an excellent voice therapist, who helps him both lower and take care of his voice.

As much as Emmett loves his suits, he hates wearing ties, especially when he’s binding. He finds the combination too constricting, and so pulls his tie off whenever possible. High-stress or pressure situations are the main culprit, but it will always be the first item of clothing he removes after work.

Emmett is not a particularly tall guy, and as a consequence, Elle in her higher heels can often end up a few inches taller than him. When they first start dating, Elle abandons these shoes; as much as she adores them, she doesn’t want him to feel self-conscious. When he finds this out, he tells her not to worry; he’ll stand on a box – he’ll stand on a hundred boxes – if that’s what it makes to make her feel beautiful.

Emmett never planned to have top surgery: he viewed it as an unnecessary expense, and finds binding to help ease his dysphoria enough to function. But after repeated chest infections and increasing back pain from overbinding, as well as a sudden self-consciousness when he turns to wearing more tailored clothing, he admits that it is more of a necessity than he thought. He gets his surgery six months before he and Elle are due to get married, and though he takes longer to recover from the process than anticipated (he keeps attempting to work too early, and only worsens his condition), he is a lot more confident, and feels genuinely attractive on his wedding day. Elle makes her agreement very apparent later that night.

“Elle?” you knock on her door. “Elle, c’mon, you have to leave the room at some point.”

“Go away, Emmett, I’m dead.”

“If you were dead, you wouldn’t be talking to me, would you?”

“Shut up, butthead!”

You laugh. “Thanks, Elle. Will you open the door now?”

“No!” 

“Elle, please?”

“No!”

You sigh. “Okay. I’ll be out here if you need me.”

So you set up camp on the floor with your laptop and get some grading done. And sure, your butt is getting numb on the cold linoleum of a dorm hallway, but you’re not leaving. What if Elle needs you?

You know she failed the really big exam she was studying so, so hard for, and you know how gutting it can be when you work so hard for something and still can’t get it right. Elle’s really coming far, and you’re immensely proud of her. She sure got a chip on her shoulder!

It’s a little after midnight when the door opens. 

“Oh my God!” Elle shrieks. “You’re still here?”

She’s in an old UCLA sweatshirt and leggings, hair thrown up into a messy bun. She’s adorable, even though she looks exhausted.

“I told you that I’d be out here if you needed me,” you shrug. “I can’t feel my butt, but that’s okay. Are you okay, Elle?” 

To your surprise, she bursts into tears.

“Elle!” you exclaim. “What’s wrong?” You stand up quickly-- God, that feels good-- and put a hand on her shoulder.

“If you don’t hug me right now, I think I’m going to fall apart,” Elle sobs.

 So, of course, you wrap your arms around her, and try to ignore the tiny thrill you feel when she buries her tear-stained face into your shoulder. 

“I can’t believe I failed!” Elle sniffles, voice muffled. 

“Hey, hey, it’s okay,” you soothe, rubbing her back. “It was just an exam, Elle, and you’ll do better on the next one! You’re doing so well, and I’m really proud of you.”

“You-- you are?” 

“Of course I am. Did you see how you defeated Warner in that debate the other day? Or how well you did on Professor Xavier’s paper? You have lots to be proud of, Elle!”

A small smile graces her face. “I guess I do.”

“You definitely do.”

“Thanks, Emmett.” 

“Always, Elle.” 

“Emmett? I know it’s midnight, but do you wanna go get some pizza? I haven’t eaten all day. We can go to Bova’s. I know their cannolis aren’t as good as Mike’s, but still.”

“You’re not gonna hear me complaining,” you grin. “But get your coat, it’s cold!”

She mock salutes. “Aye aye, Captain Forrest!”

have I considered this?? uhhhh it’s basically canon, as far as I’m concerned

Emmett started to transition in high school. he probably spent a lot of time struggling with his sexuality, thinking he was a lesbian for a while but knowing that wasn’t quite right, until learning what it means to be trans and having the biggest revelation as everything he’s felt his whole life starts to make sense. he comes out to his mom almost right away, and she is surprised but extremely supportive, and she buys him his first binder and pays for the big haircut.

he works his ass off in addition to school to support himself and pay for T. he’s so driven and focused on his goals in life, and he doesn’t let anyone’s judgments of him stand in his way.

so when he tells Elle, “look, they laughed at me like they’re laughing at you,” he’s talking about how so many elitist assholes at Harvard ridiculed him for being a poor trans kid, as though that would stop him from becoming the lawyer he wants to be.

I think he comes out to Elle before the Wyndham case starts. they’re really close friends at this point, and they’re taking a rare night off from studying, just eating pizza at his place and talking about their lives and childhoods. and Emmett’s wanted to tell her for a while, but he’s naturally been scared that this will change their friendship. he gets quiet as all of those fears swirl around in his head, but when Elle asks him if everything’s okay, he just blurts out what’s on his mind.

Elle is definitely surprised, but not at all put off or upset. she’s grateful that Emmett trusted her with that and she assures him that this doesn’t change their friendship at all. she asks Emmett questions about his transition and his experience, but she’s super respectful and kind.

meanwhile, Emmett’s been trying his hardest to not catch feelings for Elle for a while now, and her really positive reaction to his coming out makes that even more difficult for him. he’s crazy about her, but at this point he’s convinced that she’s still hung up on Warner and would never see him as anything more than a friend.

but then?? she buys him a suit. and the significance of that is huge for Emmett. all his life he’s been wearing secondhand clothes, and things that were extra baggy to try and make his chest look smaller, and he’s never had a properly tailored suit, but Elle does that for him. he’s scared of such a big change, but reminds himself to take it like a man, and when he steps out of the dressing room he’s floored, because he looks good. he sees a man staring back at him in the mirror, and he feels overwhelmed but so unbelievably grateful to Elle for this gift.

(and if he goes in for the kiss as they’re getting ready to leave the store, it was just a reaction to the emotional high he was on from seeing himself in that suit.)

Elle helps him gel his hair before court the next day, and when he arrives he already feels so much more confident than he ever has before. the compliments from the interns and Callahan only boost him higher.

so he’s feeling really good by the end of the day, and he feels like he’s ready to tell Elle how he feels. he waits for her at her dorm and muses about how this is the second Big Thing he’ll have told her in the past couple months, but if her reaction the first time was anything to go off of, then things should go just as well tonight.

but we all know what happens. Elle comes back in tears, ready to move home because of what Callahan did, and Emmett makes a love confession to the outside of her door. in a panic, he calls Vivienne, who tells him she’ll do what she can to try and convince Elle to stay.

after Elle wins the trial and turns down Warner, she finds Emmett back at Harvard. he’s a little nervous about how her talk with Warner could have gone, but he soon realizes he has no reason to be. Elle kisses him sweetly, on the bench where everything started for them, and Emmett is over the moon.

once they’re together, Elle becomes even more supportive than ever. she always sits with Emmett when he does his T injection (“You don’t have to do this, Elle, I’ve been doing it on my own for years.” “Just because that’s true, it doesn’t always have to be that way. You’ve got me now, butthead.”), and she’s always ready to give him back rubs when he’s sore from binding. she constantly reminds him of how handsome he is, and how she adores everything about him.

after getting a job at a proper law firm, Emmett finally gets a good insurance plan that will help him get top surgery. Elle is by his side through every consult and appointment and procedure leading up to the surgery, and she’s right there in the recovery room when he wakes up. she and Emmett’s mom are an amazing team through Emmett’s recovery process.

when it’s all said and done, and Emmett is feeling up to an afternoon out, Elle takes him back to that department store, and buys him another suit. it fits him perfectly.

Introverted Intuition (Ni) "There's a chip on my shoulder and it's big as a boulder. With the chance I've been given, I'm gonna be driven as hell!" Emmett is a goal-oriented person, looking to the future where he will achieve all the things he has worked so hard for. He focuses all of his energy into excelling at Harvard so he can become a successful lawyer and help his mother. He intuitively picks up on the thoughts and patterns of others, and uses this to his advantage such as when he gets Nikos to reveal he has a boyfriend. He generally knows the exact path he wishes to be on, and it takes him some time to adjust to any shifts in that path - shifts like Elle. His drive and forward motion allows him to help others on a similar path, as he excels at seeing the larger picture rather than getting caught up in the details of the moment.

Extroverted Thinking (Te) "You know, this vanity's real picturesque, but it started its life as a desk. Clear it off and find some room for books instead." Emmett is a planner, looking for logical and pragmatic ways to move towards a better future. When helping out Elle, he is blunt about her progress while always providing means for her to improve in her classes. He is not afraid of hard work, throwing himself into his studies to build an understanding of the world around him. He demonstrates himself quite capable with logical thought and reasoning, which allows him success in law. His dreams are far-reaching and enormous, but he always approaches them in a way that is reasonable and puts everything in reach.

Introverted Feeling (Fi) "But perhaps if I'd made it more clear that you belong right here you wouldn't have to go." Emmett is not an openly emotional person, but he is more than capable of forming close relationships and maintaining loyalty. He grows close to Elle and ends up falling in love with her, but doesn't speak out about his feelings until she's about to leave. Unlike Callahan, he finds that there is a use for emotion when it comes to law: providing motivation to keep moving forward. He has enough confidence in who he is and where he's going that he is able to be kind and open to others, even those quite different from himself. His motivation comes from personal emotions, wanting to move past his rough childhood to success of his own making.

Extroverted Sensing (Se) "That I don't like. That's kinda neat. Guys who wear that get beat up on my street." Emmett doesn't care much about his personal appearance, and doesn't understand a lot of other things that he considers shallow. He struggles to see why Elle places so much importance on her looks, especially when it comes at the expense of her schoolwork. In "Take It Like A Man," he feels rather out of place at the department store and relies on Elle to get him through. He doesn't let his initial impressions of Elle cloud his judgment as much as many others did, especially after the costume party incident. He seems to have learned how to act in the moment and take advantage of things as they come throughout his life, though normally his decisions are measured.

9. unexpected

Little Miss Woods Comma Elle didn’t so much as walk into Emmett’s life as saunter audaciously in pink stilettos.

…And Emmett Forrest is not complaining. He’s just having a little trouble…adjusting.

Like, when Emmett had idly said that he’d never seen the ocean, and Elle literally arranged a three-day weekend vacation in Fiji. 

Or when Emmett was dealing with a migraine and so Elle made him try all these weird concoctions that she’d read off Wiki How to help him get rid of it.

Or the time Elle randomly threw a water balloon at his head on his way to supervising a class.

Yeah. And that’s only a month into dating her.

They’re lying in bed now, various clothing left in trails on the floor in that cheesy sort of way that Emmett had only witnessed in Hallmark movies before he started see Elle. 

And she’s always so big - with her loud voice and vibrant energy and infectious positivity - that the fact that she seems so small and quiet in his arms right now is boggling to his mind.

As if sensing his gaze on her, Elle cracks one eye open, muttering, “You think too loud.”

Emmett snorts, absently moving a strand of blonde hair from her face, “I’m sorry?”

“You should be.” Elle teases in a feigned haughty voice, settling her head down on his shoulder, “I have class in the morning. You are inhibiting a future valedictorian’s sleep, Mr. Forest.”

“I know. I’ve always been such a bad influence on you.” He deadpans, causing Elle to smirk.

“So,” She says, like she always does when she’s gearing up for a potential conversation (read: interrogation), “Is there a reason that you have your pensive eyebrows on right now?”

“Pensive eyebrows?”

Elle reaches up and traces the line of his eyebrows, “Pensive eyebrows. You only do that when you’re thinking about something really hard.”

“You have the weirdest names for my facial expressions,” Emmett says, dodging the question, “How would you like it if I started calling you something like…Smug Cheeks.”

Elle snickers, reaching over and taking Emmett’s hand into her own. And the thought assaults him: I’m in love with her.

“Emmett?” Elle teases softly, smiling up at him, “Would you like to share with the class?”

“You’re just so…” He struggles to find the word, to articulate this kick kick kick in his chest without saying those words so early (despite the fact that they’ve known each other for months now, despite only been technically dating for a month), “Unexpected.”

Elle laughs a little, as if she doesn’t know what that means but she’s taking it as a compliment, “Thank you.”

Emmett leans down and kisses her, stealing the last breath of giggles away from her. Without pause, she kisses back, entangling a hand in his mussed hair and angling his jaw in a way so that she can move her mouth in an uninterrupted rhythm. 

And everything about Elle Woods is just so unexpected, but Emmett can proudly say that he is adjusting.

Your top 5 ships from musicals

This was an extraordinarily difficult ask to answer. What are my top 5 ships from musicals? Why is this so difficult?1. Enjolras/Grantaire, Les MiserablesI could do my top 5 ships just from Les Miserables but I won't because 1) that would be boring and 2) most of my ships from Les Mis are based more on the novel than the musical. I ship Courfeyrac with Marius terribly, but that's based entirely on their interactions as intimate friends in the brick. That being said...Enjolras is the passionate leader and when I first saw him on stage (shout out to Chris Durling) I fell in love with him. Grantaire isn't a stronger man than I am. Any time they touch or embrace or exchange a look during "Drink With Me" I die a little inside.2. Elle Woods/Emmett Forrest, Legally BlondeThe relationship between Elle and Emmett is one of the things I actually like more in the musical than in the film. I've heard the argument that Elle gets to stand on her own two feet more in the film (doesn't get as much help and support) but the flip side is that their relationship feels more rounded and deep. You get a much greater sense of why they fell in love. Plus, I'm a sucker for "Emmett Forrest, please make me the happiest woman I know".3. I DOUBT this is true but it should be said aloud--

If you don’t rp with me because you see me as an ELITIST, that is not the case. I do not consider myself an elitist, nor should you consider me one; the threads that I have are, yes, composed mainly of the friends that I have made on Asher and nothing else, but that has less to do with my openness to rp with others and more to do with lacking interactions from the 600+ who follow me. Of course I don’t blame you, I simply provide a reason for what is lacking.

That said, my activity has been spotty, but one can’t blame a man who wishes not to stay in death-- the TTGOt is mostly dead. I stay because, once jokingly said that now becomes an ever-haunting possession of my mind, that makes me so guilt ridden even thinking of leaving behind Asher Forrester, “I have my roots too deep within this place, I am a tree, and you will kill me to get me to leave.” 

It seems, too, that when I express to leave it is a select few, mainly the friends I have made ( such as the lovely Emmett or the magnificent Sarah ) who encourage me to stay; this too applies to starter calls and anything else, it is always a select few. I feel I am just a collectors item-- that Asher is not an interaction piece but sealed behind glass to be looked at.

Running this blog for THREE years has ruined me. It is fun sometimes, but I want it to be fun all the time. I want INTERACTIONS. I’m DESPERATE at this point, and while Asher stands a private blog after the drama of S/now and forced “elitism” in the TTGOT community, I still crave rping him. He’s still fun, I just-- want you guys to like him too, and me.  

I implore you to take this opportunity and tell me what I can do to be more APPROACHABLE, to be someone you do not FORCE yourself to interact with. Give me EVERYTHING.
