I’m typically not a fan of the whole tik tok/YouTube couples thing but like,,,,,,,can you imagine doing that ‘drinking while I do my makeup’ challenge but asking Bakugou to join you???? I think it’d be so cute bc he’s a lot drunker than you expected for his size while you have a nice buzz going. you answer a few commonly asked questions in the meanwhile, cleaning up your brows while Bakugou just watches you with a little -_- look the entire time. his cheeks are all rosy and he’s sooo close to your face, slurs some kinda personal answer that makes you laugh and delete the footage bc the fans do not need to know that shit

and as drunk as he is, he eats your liner the fuck up. suddenly has the steadiest hand ever, his tongue poked out a little in the corner of his mouth, his palm resting on your cheek, the other basically holding your entire face to make sure you’re steady. also lines your lips with liner, paints your gloss/stick on with such heavy precision that all goes down the drain when he immediately leans forward to kiss it all off. a very clingy and affectionate drunk, and vows to throttle you when he’s sober enough to watch the video back later on bc of how you captured his lovesick gaze perfectly that everyone starts to talk about after.

#aka i need to move out #idk how much longer i can take listening to my parents just say shit and have opinions and then expect me to feel the same way #and when i disagree suddenly i’m siding with the wrong people #when quite literally i’m trying to make you understand that your thoughts are not the only thoughts to be considered #while also trying to validate their feelings but that they’re not communicating at all and are taking it out on ppl #i am so so so tired of being the constant middleman between my family members and ultimately having to hear everyone say shit abt everyone #and expect me to immediately agree or understand #like girlies you can all be wrong and you all are and the fact that you aren’t willing to admit your wrongdoings is your first problem #your second was expecting me to hype you up and encourage your behavior #having to constantly remind myself that it’s not my responsibility to keep the peace or to solve my familial issues #and the one time i tried to explain this it was met with ‘no one’s asking you to’#which is true !!! but then why are ALL OF YOU complaining to me and only me #why are you burdening me with all of this information #and if i tell you i can’t handle it or don’t want to talk about it i’m suddenly the bad guy too #i can’t win here your honor !!! the only solution in which i win is to get OUT #and of course i can’t make anyone say or do or believe anything #i’m not naive enough to think i can #but sitting there silent isn’t helping and speaking doesn’t either and there’s no other good solution #it’s just exhausting

‘enjoyer’ to me has two meanings. it either means you’re a “fake fan” who hasn’t actually properly read/watched/played the media for yourself and you don’t know that much about it but you like it on a surface level and that’s enough for you, or it means you have done the above but you refuse to participate in fandom culture online for it lest discourse and negativity end up ruining you and so you just enjoy it peacefully by yourself. i think this is an excellent term btw

#there are lots of things i consider myself an enjoyer of that i’ll post about occasionally #like ace attorney and persona 5 for some examples #even though i only really know some stuff i enjoy seeing it on my dash #there are a few things i like and i am a ‘true fan’ of but i won’t show those colors on here #like miraculous ladybug. i’m media literate enough by now to recognize nitpicks and handle them with grace by myself #so i don’t even wanna touch whatever is probably going on on here #bc i know it’s silly and wild but listen the very specific type of shenanigan that mlb is? you either love it or you hate it. and i love it #and there are too many fans who fall into that ‘hate’ category and don’t realize that the show is never gonna be for them #this is all to say i’m not certain yet what i’ll do about pokémon legends arceus #like do i add it to my pinned post do i start following blogs and browsing tags etc #or do i just quietly enjoy it alone on my blog and reblog stuff that floats my way but never go out looking for stuff #bc yknow it’s actually quite relaxing not participating in fandom sometimes yanno #and i don’t want anything to kill my hype #when something has either a large fandom or regular releases you can always be satisfied by the content that’s there #aka there’s no pressure on you to entertain yourself and make the stuff you want to see #i love kh but that’s how it is for me sometimes and i guess that’s the kicker of not having played the games myself #is that my entire experience with it is through youtube vids and fandom online which is probably not great #i’m probably exhausting myself more than i should over it #i have played twewy myself obv so i can entertain myself but also the fandom is tiny and chill anyway #i like creating my own twewy posts tho lol #most of the time #i do get tired sometimes of feeling like i have to provide content for others #or really tbh it’s not even others fault most of the time it’s self inflicted #bc i do genuinely love analyzing media and writing down my thoughts and sharing #when i write a huge block of text that’s the real me. when i do meme edits that’s me trying to people please #art is..: somewhere in between #peach rambles

It’s hard not to want to gatekeep when I got waitlisted and passed over for a CHANCE to get tickets when there are so many people at the opening night concert that didn’t even know the songs she was playing

not to expound upon the political implications of fandom every chance i get but noel gruber is revolutionary gay representation because he wants to be fucked up and evil and it is so disheartening to see transformative works where they act like his wants and personality are character flaws. roadblocks in the way of the most conventional and milquetoast gay romance story ever put to word document. which isn’t terrible but the fact of the matter is noel gruber exists to say not every gay person wants to be normal or wants to have a normal easy heteroimitative life. marlene dietrich was a bisexual woman who endured mountains of hardship on every level and did important things and made important art. jean genet was a writer and activist who lived on the fringes of society doing survival sex work for most of his youth. liberace was never *out* out and was torn apart relentlessly by tabloids about his life. these are the people he canonically admires, he wants to be a starving artist and live a fantastic, queer, risky life that offends and challenges the mainstream. not because he is too naive to want a normal quiet life, but because he was raised in the bosom of the most banal, sterile, conservative small town existence he could have possibly been in and knows for a fact he wants the complete opposite. queer assimilation to the heteronormative standards of life has been a powerful tool in our survival, yes, but the point of that is to survive to make a world where that isn’t necessary anymore. the ease straight white cis abled society offers is one that exists at the expense of those who do not fit it. that is why the girl is fucked up. in a perfect world she shouldn’t have to be any other way.
