Author’s Note - Yes, I was inspired by that scene with Nancy and Steve from The Vanishing of Will Byers and I did, in fact, spiral from there. I will also openly admit that this is not proofread but that I do intend to proofread it tomorrow. I am about to pass out, I apologize in advance if I miss anything for the time being.

"Wait," I pause, jutting my hip out to hold Eddie's front door open, "your uncle is not home, right?"

"Of course not, sweetheart," he answers. Walking closer, he leans in and mumbles against my neck, "Why? Were you hoping for something?"

"Was I hoping that maybe you might actually focus on why I am here this time?" I ask as I push him off of me, "Yeah, I was."

He grabs my waist and pulls me flush against him, fitting perfectly between his parted legs. He grins smugly as he whispers to me, "What fun is that?"

I chuckle along in good humour before pulling my face back to look him in the eye, "None... but at least you'll make it to graduation."

He pouts when I wink at him, walking away down the hall.

When I do not hear any following footsteps, I grab onto the doorframe to his room and turn to face him.

"C'mon, honey," his pout saddens me, "I made you personalized flashcards!"

He cannot help but grin when he sees my enthusiasm. Clearly, this is a special gift, maybe not his favorite type but it is from me and it is very obviously an exclusive present. He reaches out his hand to meet mine, finally caving to the inevitable.

"Eddie," I groan, dropping my hand, flashcards and all, to my lap.

"What?" He responds, a little defensive as he turns to face me.

"I know she's gorgeous and all but I need you to focus."

He pouts again as he strums the strings of his guitar, hanging prettily on his wall.

"But she's calling to me," he whines.

"So am I," I glare at him expectantly.

His hands fly to his head, tangling in his long locks.

"I'm torn," He whimpers, and he is, very obviously. His indecisiveness is absolutely rampant on his features.

"Stop making this so hard," I squeal, burying my face in his pillow.

"What do you mean?" He swoops down to the bed in immediate concern.

"I wanna give you what you want," I frown deeply, looking up at him where he hovers above me.

"Then..." he pauses for dramatic effect, sticking his bottom lip out, "do."

"I said I want to," I correct, hitting him with a sad smile, "not that I can."

"Why not?" He is clearly distraught over this choice.

"We have to study," This does not go over well.

"Why?" He whines.

"Because, Eddie," I exclaim, suddenly sitting up.

"Because why?"

"Because when I walk the stage this month, I want you to come with!"

The words swoop out of my mouth without my permission and I immediately regret them. His smirk is wiped, a dumbfounded look replacing it.

"Is that really how you feel?" He asks, voice soft as he looks at his hands.

"I mean..." I hesitate, my guilt is sweating off me in waves, "yeah. It would be nice."

"Okay," he huffs, an air of solid, decisive rigidity suddenly about him.

"Hit me," Eddie reaches for the cards I previously dropped, shoving them in my hands.

"Eds, hang on," I request, stopping his arm as it reaches for the third stack of rubber band-wrapped flashcards.

"What? What's up?" He quickly interrogates, hair bouncing in his haste to face me.

"'What's up?' What's up with you? You have not asked if you can get up for a beer for two hours. You always want one when we study."

He smiles to himself, glad I know him so well.

"I just want to respect what you want," The puppy dog eyes he gives me could melt my heart right then and there, "I want that, too. I know I need to try harder if I want..."

The tone of his voice as it trails scares me.

"Hey," I reach for Eddie's chin, pulling him up, "talk to me."

"I don't want you to get... I don't want you to realize you could do better than a metalhead three-time super senior with no prospects. I need to do something to fix this."

"Hey, hey," I grasp his cheeks, knowing he misunderstood, "that's not- even... Eddie, I-"

I stop to take a breath, "That is never what I would think of you. I love you, Eddie, exactly as you are now. I just want good things for you and... this will be a good thing for both of us."

"I know," he smiles and I relax when it meets his eyes.

"You thought I could ever stop loving you? God, you're an idiot, Eddie Munson."

I hope it is not too early for the jest; as a grin overtakes all his features, I breathe easier.

"You are gorgeous, Y/N Y/L/N."

hi! i'd like a jjba match-up if that's alright with you; all parts are fine, but 4 & 7 are my personal favorites.

i don't really label my gender, but i greatly prefer masculine terms being used for me, but i still use any pronouns. it's kind of the same deal with my sexuality: unlabeled, open with a preference for men.

so, for my personality, i tend to present myself as very friendly– energetic, cheerful, always asking if people need help, etc. i make aquaintences very easily, and i have a decent amount of people i'd call my friends as well. however, i'm actually pretty introverted and my social battery drains very easily, i just mask it very well because i'm a people pleaser. i'm very anxious about most things, but i have a very bad habit of bottling up my emotions and not asking for help until i'm at an absolute breaking point. other people tend to describe me as hardworking, creative, academically intelligent, and kind, but also as indecisive, neurotic (in regards to my anxiety), unorganized, unable to speak up for myself, and a pushover. my mbti type is infp.

my hobbies are writing (especially essays and horror), music (i play french horn), and video games (such as pokémon and stardew valley). i also love reading manga.

my type tends to be people who are close friends with me– because of that, i tend to confuse my romantic and platonic feelings. i tend to stick around people who are also musicians. they're usually a lot more extroverted than i am and make decisions more spontaneously than i do.

i dislike people who are overly clingy, and i generally hate texting people more than i have to. i get panic attacks if i'm not early to everywhere i need to go, so i can't handle when people are unprepared or not punctual. i'm verrryyyy uncomfortable around people when i can't tell if they're sarcastic or not. i hate a lot of foods, too, and am an extremely picky eater because of food neophobia. however, other than that, i don't really dislike a lot of things.

i'd say that, receiving, my love language is quality time. i need to interact with them and hang out, because otherwise i'll grow distant. when giving, mine are primarily giving gifts and physical touch. i express my gratitude and affection for people with hugs– bone-crushingly tight hugs, but hugs nonetheless. i also like giving people small gifts like snacks, and insist on buying people birthday gifts.

all i'll say for my appearance is that i'm very short (under 5'1") and somewhat thin, but rather strong compared to my size.

My hobbies are singing, drawing, roleplaying, listening to music, chatting/browsing on social media, conceptualizing, writing, and reading some stuffs. I'll include making corniest jokes/puns, sleeping, and dancing when nobody's around or walking like a model if I feel so bold (even I'm terrible at both xD). I also used to learn Italian language a bit. So, I’m 18, and I use she/her pronouns. Not really sure exactly what my sexuality is atm. I lean towards men, but I’m open to being with girls.

My big 3 are Virgo sun, Pisces ascending, and Cancer moon. I’m an INFP and enneagram type 2. Massive introvert because I get drained so quickly in social situations.

Likes/Hobbies: Board and card games have a special place in my heart despite never playing them as a kid. I’d kill to have people willingly play monopoly with me just so I could lose. Passionate about psychology and true crime. Found family is one of my favorite troupes, probably because of all the family issues I had growing up. Enemies to lovers is one that tends to pull me in as well. Daydreaming takes up a good portion of my day and causes my idealistic and fantastical views. I spend time reading and listening to music. I tend to listen to bands that are soft and sweet because love songs melt me in a puddle on the floor. I have a weird thing where I like to buy lots of things that smell nice like candles, soaps, perfumes, lotions, and stuff, but never use it. I have the same attitude with nature. I love the outdoors but leaving the house is just so much effort. I have definitely left the house solely to visit pets though, because animals are like my kryptonite. Oh oh oh! Dislikes: The obvious, homophobes, racists, ableists, etc. Obnoxious people who are so unnecessarily over the top with everything they do. Narcissistic people (I can handle self-centered people if it’s not to the point of narcissism). If someone kicks a person while they’re down, that’s a no-go even if the person they’re kicking needs to be knocked down a peg. Loud noises (this one is super big because trauma). Things that overpower any of my senses. Grown adults who use 3-in-1 WILLINGLY despite knowing that there are entire aisles of options for them and have the AUDACITY to think it works just as good. Arguing (I will give up if it goes on too long if I even bothered to argue to begin with)

Negative: I adapt my personality based on the person. I’m never fake, I just choose what traits of mine I wanna show. I take a while to warm up to people, but they have a tendency to overestimate how close we are. Definitely upset some people when they found out I wouldn’t run into a burning fire to save them. I’m an anxious overthinker, and it can push people away. I don’t get mad easily, but when I do finally lash out it’s hard to get me to stop, and I DO use low blows and remind you of every mistake you ever made. I will not regret or apologize afterward either unless you’re like my best friend or lover because if I get THAT angry with you, you deserve it. Depression hits me really hard sometimes and I can’t bring myself to do anything. I can sometimes freak out over small stuff like a misplaced object, sometimes going so far as having a panic attack over a spoon not being in the right slot in the silverware drawer. Openly voicing my opinion and putting my foot down is something I really struggle with, and I’d much rather a s/o who’s willing to take lead in that aspect.

Positive: When I finally let down my walls, which has only happened a handful of times, I am super snuggly and ramble. Physical touch and talking more than absolutely necessary is my way of saying that I’m comfortable and care about someone a lot. Cuddles are crucial! Not all the time, because I’m still very finicky and a bit jumpy about it, but sometimes. I’m a hopeless romantic who just wants her “I’m cold” “Here, take my hoodie” moment. I jokingly flirt with my friends more than I’d like to admit. Sarcasm and dry humor are my way of coping with the fact that I exist in this universe. I’m a super good listener, and people who aren’t usually open feel more comfortable around me. I tend to put my own qualms with people aside to comfort someone if they’re really feeling down and alone. I don’t care about looks or material things my partner can give me, I literally just want someone who will love me with no strings attached other than maybe spending some time together every once in a while.

Okay, so fun story. I was like 5, maybe 6 at the time. Fishing with my dad (back before he went on a milk run) was a common occurrence, and I would kiss the fish before we threw it back. Well, my dad had just gotten a new fishing pole, first time using it. We were chilling, waiting for the line to catch something. Finally got a bite on my dad’s new rod, and we pulled it up. Now, idk if you’ve ever seen them, but pulling up an alligator gar when you’re barely in Kindergarten is kind of terrifying. So what was my response? To the fish back in the water, pole and all. Needless to say, I don’t think he was very pleased.

The first things that brought me to the EJ conclusion was when I first saw “psychology and true crime”. One, I adore those things and two, so too does EJ, at least from how I tend to write him. I also,,,,, admittedly like the whole “found family” and can see that kind of working between you and EJ. Y’know what, ngl the kinks solidified that decision too, but I overall believe the rest of you is just 100% in tune with him.

The first thing I thought of while actually considering this part was just “omfg this man doesn’t have a hoodie anymore because he’s always giving it to you” which I find ADORABLE. He probably has different hoodies for different occasions so he knows you’ll be prepared for wherever the two of you are going lmfao. He probably wants to hold you a lot (or whenever you’re comfortable) or have a hand on you in some way because highkey the man is jealous and a bit possessive. While your music choice isn’t something he was previously aware about, I think he’d end up really enjoying it just because it makes you so happy. SO, I can just see you two working out 100%, that is a given. He understands the adapting a personality thing ngl. After his whole “you’re a demon Jack!” he had to relearn what it meant to be human - and he’s still trying to figure that out (at least how I write him.) And he just really gets the whole: yeah. Hello, I write short stories!

This is only a side hobby of mine, so there may be mistakes and quality may not be consistent, but I try my very best! I may not be writing for the next few weeks as of school and other events, but I will be posting past works in the meanwhile.

If you're wondering what kind of stuff I write,

I dabble in dsmp aus, namely short reader inserts

Writing prompts, which I may post, knowing I will most likely not enact on writing these prompts, but a request is a request, if you get what I'm saying,,,

Random aus involving cs/ccs who are a part of the dsmp, e.g. an au in which SBI tours countries with the highest Twitch viewing statistics, making friends along the way

School projects (I am currently working on an alternate ending to Macbeth)
