Whores are easiest, they don't expect him to feel anything about the shag, or expect attention when he has better things to do, will not ask him to come back unless it's because he's a fair tipper.

Edward used to understand that.

But somehow he forgot, or something changed, Izzy isn't sure but Edward started wanting more, pushing for things Izzy can't give and it fractured things between them.

Because Edward was never the best with feelings in the first place, and Izzy doesn't understand the wants and needs. He watches people "fall in love" and "suffer for love" and feels only annoyance at the wasted time and incomprehension at the suffering.

A lot of things get blamed on love, it's an excuse to do all manner of daft things, to forget your duty to stab friends in the back.

Most of the time Izzy counts himself lucky he has no part in it.

Then Bonnet comes and--Edward is happy all of a sudden, because, and it takes Izzy forever to understand, Edward is in love and is loved in return whatever that might mean.

Bonnet is giving him what Izzy never could, is incapable of, and Edward blossoms under the attention and affection.

Izzy hates it, hates being jealous of Bonnet of the way they are absorbed in each other, the way Izzy has never been able to offer Edward despite loving him for years now.

He'd never thought himself broken before until he couldn't meet his captain's needs until he was forced to realize he was incapable of it. That no matter how hard he tried, something inside of him was missing, something vitally important to Edward's well-being.

It's such a missed opportunity! They were both assigned penance eternal by the IC over their relationships with Feyre with no road to redemption. In acosf they were both on a shame spiral. I need a month to recover from the 2+ weeks of torture.#Okay lets talk about the AU and the comic now #Disco elysium has some of the best existential-horror-dream sequences I have ever seen.#The dialogue here is heavily inspired by The Final Dream - A scene I'd love to talk about more were it not so heavy with spoilers.#My AU is a lot more complex than a simple character swap but I really felt like LWJ + YLLZ fit this scene.#The final dream is about being unable to move on from a lost love. From something You made holy. From something You ruined.#It is about realizing that no matter how smart you are or what you offer or how you try to change -#You will never be able to turn back time. You will never ever be able to fix what is broken. That you also have been broken for a long time #You are a fuck-up who worships the nail covered ground of someone who did not want to be holy. And even though it hurts-#You cannot let this nightmare go. The pain keeps the love close. It is worse to forget. You promised to remember.#WWX died thinking LWJ disliked him. so tomorrow will mark a full week of me being in the hospital. I'm gonna be fine, but I had some bladder cancer removed and we're dealing with an infection and some crazy swelling in the fallout. They did get it all, but we're waiting on a bunch of test results and hey it turns out it Super Hurts if a lady goes digging around in the walls of your organs cutting things out and burning things off like a lovely little arts and crafts extravaganza

I'm not here to ask for money - I am very, very lucky to have a support net under me - but. If anyone has photos of just very cute small animals? I would like to see your kittens and cats and baby whatsits. It would help my healing I think. I haven't seen my cats since I got here so I need images to tide my soul over.

#modern Machete is into fashion without a doubt #enough to dream about being a designer or a model or anyone in those circles #but I'm not sure he'd have the personality for it #I think you need to be at least passably sociable as a model right?#bold enough to put yourself out there but also humble and cooperative so people will want to work with you #and you have to be adaptable and stress-resistant to deal with long shooting days and travel #you gotta let hair stylists and makeup artists touch you and be somewhat ok with dressing and undressing with other people in the room #I tend to think his day job is something kind of boring and not glamorous at all but he's very good at it and it pays well #and he uses some of those paychecks to buy himself nice things to wear #but it was very sweet of you to think he could be a model he would've loved to hear that #answered #anonymous
