Construction Prompts Weekend Closure of Interstate 24 in Hamilton County
Drivers traveling near the I-75 at the I-24 interchange in Hamilton County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will temporarily impact traffic. As part of Phase 2 (the second of two projects) to widen and improve the I-75 at I-24 interchange, Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews must implement a full directional closure of I-24 West near Exit 183…

Love at First Punch Chapters 1-99
Here you can find links to chapters of 'Love at First Punch'
Edit - I figured out that I'm dumb and can put more links on the same post - just need to be separated into paragraphs.
Let me know if you like the 1-10 etc sectioning, or if you'd prefer it another way! I'm not too sure how to split it without it being messy.

After a slight delay, here's the stats for round 1:
Of the 512 matches, 67 (13%) of them were upsets, meaning the mon with the lower seed won. The biggest upset (lowest seed to win) was shieldon (864) winning against tarountula (161). The most against the grain (biggest ratio in an upset) was pikipek (656) beating flamigo (369) at 74.2%-25.8% The biggest ratio overall was bulbasaur (2) vs smoochum (1023) at 97.2%-2.8% For the smallest ratio, there were two exact ties at 50.0%-50.0%, tinkatuff (407) vs slowking (618), and toxel (475) vs kingambit (550). Of the two, the one with the thinnest margin in the tiebreaker was slowking vs. tinkatuff at 54.4%-45.6%
Now let’s look at how various categories of pokémon did.
By generation: Gen I (150): 71 (47.33%) wins vs. 79 (52.67%) losses Gen II (100): 64 (64%) wins vs. 36 (36%) losses Gen III (135): 69 (51.11%) wins vs. 66 (48.89%) losses Gen IV (107): 55 (51.4%) wins vs. 52 (48.6%) losses Gen V (156): 72 (46.15%) wins vs. 84 (53.85%) losses Gen VI (72): 44 (61.11%) wins vs. 28 (38.89%) losses Gen VII (88): 45 (51.14%) wins vs. 43 (48.86%) losses Gen VIII (96): 41 (42.71%) wins vs. 55 (57.29%) losses Gen IX (120): 51 (42.5%) wins vs. 69 (57.5%) losses
Every generation has a roughly even split of wins and losses, with maybe a slight bias towards gens II and VI (though the latter may just be due to a small sample size), but not towards I or IV like you'd expect.
By type: Normal (131): 66 (50..38%) wins vs. 65 (49.62%) losses Fighting (73): 25 (34.25%) wins vs. 48 (65.75%) losses Flying (109): 58 (53.21%) wins vs. 51 (46.79%) losses Poison (82): 38 (46.34%) wins vs. 44 (53.66%) losses Ground (75): 33 (44%) wins vs. 42 (56%) losses Rock (74): 30 (40.54%) wins vs. 44 (59.46%) losses Bug (92): 32 (36.96%) wins vs. 58 (63.04%) losses Ghost (65): 52 (80%) wins vs. 13 (20%) losses Steel (65): 19 (29.23%) wins vs. 46 (70.77%) losses Fire (81): 52 (64.2%) wins vs. 29 (35.8%) losses Water (154): 70 (45.45%) wins vs. 84 (54.55%) losses Grass (127): 74 (58.27%) wins vs. 53 (41.73%) losses Electric (69): 39 (56.52%) wins vs. 30 (43.48%) losses Psychic (102): 51 (50%) wins vs. 51 (50%) losses Ice (48): 16 (33.33%) wins vs. 32 (66.67%) losses Dragon (70): 46 (65.71%) wins vs. 24 (34.29%) losses Dark (69): 38 (55.07%) wins vs. 31 (44.93%) losses Fairy (64): 39 (60.94%) wins vs. 25 (39.06%) losses
Not too surprising on this site, the strongest bias is towards the ghost type. Notably, there also appear to be slight biases towards fire, dragon, and fairy, and against fighting, bug, steel, and ice. Most of these also aren't too surprising, but fighting is an interesting one.
By egg group: Monster (80): 54 (67.5%) wins vs. 26 (32.5%) losses Water1 (114): 56 (49.12%) wins vs. 58 (50.88%) losses Bug (91): 36 (39.12%) wins vs. 55 (60.44%) losses Flying (73): 38 (52.05%) wins vs. 35 (47.95%) losses Field (277): 159 (57.4%) wins vs. 118 (42.6%) losses Fairy (66): 39 (59.09%) wins vs. 27 (40.91%) losses Grass (89): 49 (55.06%) wins vs. 40 (44.94%) losses Human-Like (70): 25 (35.71%) wins vs. 45 (64.29%) losses Water 3 (37): 12 (32.43%) wins vs. 25 (67.57%) losses Mineral (84): 31 (36.9%) wins vs. 53 (63.1%) losses Amorphous (63): 45 (71.43%) wins vs. 18 (28.57%) losses Water 2 (34): 15 (44.12%) wins vs. 19 (55.88%) losses Ditto (1): 1 (100%) wins vs. 0 (0%) losses Dragon (72): 49 (68.0.6%) wins vs. 23 (31.94%) losses No Eggs Discovered (151): 74 (49.01%) wins vs. 77 (50.99%) losses
More or less reflects the types, with the most notable exceptions (besides the ditto egg group which is definitely too small of a sample size) being the biases for amorphous and against water 3 (invertebrates). Also notable is a mostly even split among the field egg group, which is a point against the "mammal bias" some have claimed. There's just a lot of them.
By body shape: Head (51): 23 (45.1%) wins vs. 28 (54.9%) losses Head and Base (41): 21 (51.22%) wins vs. 20 (48.78%) losses Serpentine (40): 25 (62.5%) wins vs. 15 (37.5%) losses Head and Legs (28): 11 (39.29%) wins vs. 17 (60.71%) losses Quadruped (199): 132 (66.33%) wins vs. 67 (33.67%) losses Multiped or Tentacled (24): 11 (45.83%) wins vs. 13 (54.17%) losses Insectoid (46): 20 (43.48%) wins vs. 26 (56.52%) losses Head and Arms (48): 17 (35.42%) wins vs. 31 (64.58%) losses 2 Wings (87): 51 (58.62%) wins vs. 36 (41.38%) losses 4+ Wings (22): 12 (54.55%) wins vs. 10 (45.45%) losses Fins (47): 21 (44.68%) wins vs. 26 (55.32%) losses Biped (156): 50 (32.05%) wins vs. 106 (67.95%) losses Biped with Tail (215): 112 (52.09%) wins vs. 103 (47.91%) losses Multiple Bodies (20): 6 (30%) wins vs. 14 (70%) losses
And here's a point towards the mammal bias, with quadrupeds having the strongest bias in favor, with the next strongest being towards serpentine bodies. There's also that bias against tailless bipeds, which is consistent with the biases against the fighting type and the human-like egg group.
By color: Red (98): 44 (44.9%) wins vs. 54 (55.1%) losses Blue (173): 97 (56.07%) wins vs. 76 (43.93%) losses Yellow (87): 56 (64.37%) wins vs. 31 (35.63%) losses Green (128): 67 (52.34%) wins vs. 61 (47.66%) losses Black (52): 31 (59.62%) wins vs. 21 (40.38%) losses Brown (147): 66 (44.9%) wins vs. 81 (55.1%) losses Purple (89): 44 (49.44%) wins vs. 45 (50.56%) losses Gray (103): 32 (31.07%) wins vs. 71 (68.93%) losses White (89): 48 (53.93%) wins vs. 41 (46.07%) losses Pink (59): 28 (47.46%) wins vs. 31 (52.54%) losses
Unsurprisingly, no clear patterns here. There are slight biases towards yellow and against gray, but that could mean anything.

Most Beloved AEW Wrestler Tournament 2: Week 5
We're rocking and rolling, friends and comrades
Total votes thus far: 257,570 (average of 76 votes per bracket, down from 99 last week)
The Ties
Huge week for ties, bringing our total number of them up to 26
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now I had this sneaking suspicion that at this point, there's probably been someone who has had two ties, which could lead to the mythical 3 way tie.
So far, Colt Cabana has tied with Action Andretti and Vincent and Matthew Jackson has tied with Kazuchika Okada and Nicholas Jackson. For the mythical 3 way tie to happen, Action and Vincent would have to tie, which we'll find out on Day 80 and Okada and Nick to tie on Day 108. I'm doing my best to not influence results, but you guys would make me so happy if we can pull off at least one 3 way tie.
The Crushing Defeats
Now this has never happened before, but I'm gonna have to present the unanimous victories one at a time. Firstly, a regular Orange-over-Nick victory
Tumblr media
Now, for the first time, we had a double unanimous loss for Kamille to Toni Storm and Will Ospreay
Tumblr media
And also for the first time, a double unanimous win for Julia Hart to Vincent and Aaron Solo
Tumblr media
The Top 20
Below are the stats for the top 20 for days 29-35
Tumblr media
The Undefeated
Neither our undefeated nor our unvictorious have changed since last week, but I'll drop their stats anyway
Tumblr media
The Midcard
Since it's an odd day, I figured there wouldn't be anyone who had a perfect 50/50 split of wins to losses and I'd have to wait for next week to post them again. How wrong I was
Tumblr media
Clever lad decided to have a tie

The Hundred Line: Romance Route
Finished the Romance Route for better or worse and...
Wow what a terrible first route xD
(Thoughts and spoilers for the whole route)
I guess for a start this route made me realize the 100 endings thing is less 100 routes and more maybe 10+ routes with several endings each. Romance Route had 8 endings. Curious to see if it's an outlier in that sense or what I should expect going forward
Things I liked:
Some of those endings were really fun actually! I liked Tsubasa's ending, the Nozomi rejects you ending, the fake out Harem ending, and the Graduation ending. But my favorite ending was the one where Takumi rejects all three girls & denies feeling anything romantic for Nozomi and then just proceeds to break down about how stressful and exhausting the whole thing was and gets comforted by Moko. It really sums up all my feelings about this route, and Takumi really deserved the comfort
Moko herself! She didn't make the best impression on me as a combat unit before the route split, but getting to see her playful side, and her caring, protective side towards her girlfriends is beautiful. The way she shut down the harem ending and apologized and comforted Takumi for the whole thing in the Forever Alone ending was also really nice
Tsubasa & Kyoshika's chapters were decent enough. Though I'm not sure if it's because anything was good after Kurara or because they were genuinely cute in their own right. Kyoshika was cute and silly, and Tsubasa was just more of Tsubasa being one of my fave characters in the group. So overall I am left with more positive feelings towards them!
The way the girls all comforted whoever got rejected. It was just Moko for Kurara, then Kurara & Moko for Kyoshika, and then all three for Tsubasa. Girl friendships are always so nice, especially in a romance route like this! I genuinely like that they never made the girls needlessly catty towards each other and instead had them being supportive. At worst it was just Kurara being Kurara.
Getting to mess around with the Safety difficult and learn how to one-round bosses was also really fun.
One rounding the Supreme Commander after the first Kurara Chapter Battle especially was sweet beautiful vengeance.
The Bad
THERE ARE NO FREE TIMES IN THIS ROUTE! From Day 24 - Day 100 you are locked into endless cutscenes and battles. Sure I got enough BP out of it to start giving my characters lots of upgrades BUT I HAD TO FIGHT SO MANY BATTLES JUST BARELY STRONGER THAN I WAS AT THE END OF THE FIRST ROUTE!
I also have like zero materials so even when I do get another Free Time, I'll need to spend it exploring instead of upgrading anyway T_T
It is. Extremely. EASY. to get onto this route. Like if you're someone who goes back to the last decision when you hit an ending or plot lock, and your first two choices where No -> No like mine were, and it's very easy for them to be that when the character whom you'll have a strong affinity for is nudging you towards those choices specifically. I'd probably hate this route a lot less if it wasn't my first full route in NG+. Could I have jumped to another choice at any time? Sure, but I like seeing things through to the end.
Having to experience those NG+ battles for the first time in this route is especially painful because they! are! Interesting! I would much rather be exploring the plot and implications of that than ignoring them as soon as the battle ends and spending 75 days with [Insert Girl Here]
Also have I mentioned that EVERYONE outside of Moko, Kurara, Kyoshika, and Tsubasa becomes a non-entity in this route? There were so many opportunities to include moments of Takumi interacting with the other characters so we can see what's happening in the school while the bs game is going on and hearing their thoughts or giving us a chance to learn about our main girls from other characters like we did with Hiroko on the day you go to if you DONT get onto this route - that's just insult to injury really! But also the group dynamic was something I really loved in this game and losing that completely for this route makes me really worried about other routes.
(I also just generally got worried that Takumi was being deliberately isolated which is um... maybe not how you want to structure a romance route of all things?)
Also who wrote this route? I want to know to avoid their routes! D:<
The Ugly
I can't decide if it's a good thing or bad thing that this route front loads it's single worst part. On the one hand, it means starting from Day 50, the route gets consistently better, but on the other it means Day 25-49 is completely insufferable to go through
In other words, if you had any sort of positive sentiments towards Kurara before this route, YOU SURE WON'T AT THE END OF IT! Congrats Kurara, you've become the single character I went from being whatever towards to ACTIVELY DESPISING!
And no her Romance ending doesn't make it better. It makes it WORSE ACTUALLY
I'm genuinely left under the impression that being isolated in his room for 25 days with her has given Takumi a severe case of stockholm syndrome. It's the only way I can explain her endings, especially the Mask one.
I'm still salty about not being able to absorb the TWO Commanders I had to beat in her chapter. Commander kills were literally my only way of getting stronger here >.>

Wayne Family Adventures (WFA), to my knowledge, had been advertised as Duke Thomas getting to know and adapting to his new life in the Batfamily. More Slice of Life than what traditional comic readers are use to. Currently (as of June 4th, 2025) WFA has 170 parts/episodes with the comic finishing it’s 3rd ‘season’ and is - from my reasoning - on a break of some sort.
For this examination, we are focusing on the first 115 parts* -- including the 3 mini-episodes released; the 3rd ‘season’ consists of a more “traditional” comic story told over the span of 53 parts rather than the shorter one-shot stories posted prior that contained anywhere from 1 to 3 parts.
That all being said; out of 115 parts Duke Thomas is - roughly - only featured a grand total of 40 times.
Leaving a total of 75 other one shots where he is completely left out to focus on other members of the Batfamily. *Not including the single one shot focusing on the Superfamily alone. Meaning that in WFA, there are many parts where Duke is completely omitted in a comic that is suppose to be him adapting to the Batfamily. Thus, we find a whopping 24 Duke focused stories and 16 features.
(breakdown on my criteria below!)
My criteria for this little adventure was simple.
In terms of our boy Duke, I had decided to split the features in two. He had to either be the Main Focus of the story presented or in the background to some capacity. Sometimes it muddied the waters, such as Ep 38 “S.O.S.” where Duke was a major figure, but he and Damian were quickly cast aside for Bruce and the Justice League to take main focus in the story.
However, I decided that Duke would need a much stronger role which is to say in ep 114 “Even the Best Detectives…” where Duke is prominently part of the crew, even if he does not speak until the end of this one shot. At least he is a part and interacting with the family, the so-called thesis of WFA.

Note: please leave some room for human error as i did most of this over the span of 2 nights both from 2 am to 5 am. i am fairly confident in what i catalogued here tho. feel free to correct me on the efforts (respectfully)! my sleep schedule is a mess, yeah.
also ignore the "up for debate" note for ep 7 on the first image. it was before i truly decided how i wanted to catalogue this lmao forgor to erase

Gun companies and their reputations
hello murder drones fans! here's a random idea i wanted to post. as we know, people love making fankids. especially with Uzi, and with uzi, people are going to want to name their fankids after guns. ive already seen it, and I understand it. its sick as hell!
however, these are gun companies were talking about, and the gun industry does actually have loads and loads of drama. some of these companies also do not have your best interests in mind. I personally, would not name my son after a gun company with a systemic sexual harassment lawsuit against it, or from a company that fucks over its customers.
Im gonna be compiling a list of gun companies with names that could be used as names for a person, and giving some background on the company and their standing in the market. I'll try to make it alphabetical, and if you see any other company names you want me to add and give insight on, I'll add it with an edit.
Lemme know if i get anything wrong as well! I'm writing most of this down from memory over my experiences with these guns and companies
Armalite - I suppose you could use this as a name?? They used to be owned by Fairchild Corp, and made the first versions of the Ar-15 for the US military, before selling the design to Colt for mass production. The AR-15 was originally designed as full auto btw. the M16 is an Ar15, not every Ar15 is an M16. They make guns still, but they're a far cry from the original Armalite. I haven't heard of anything bad about them particularly.
Beretta - The oldest still standing gun company on the planet, they are almost 500 years old now. They've made derivatives of the Walther P38 for about a century now, also known as the Beretta 92 or M9, and they make sporting and combat shotguns, as well as some newer stuff like the APX striker fired pistols and CX4 carbines. When NFTs were all the rage, they tried to cash in on it with some virtual photos of guns that were worth fake money. It didn't go well, and Beretta support isn't known for responding to customer support emails. Their 92 series of pistols are dead reliable though, just chunky.
Brugger & Thomet - They make good guns, but they're all so ridiculously expensive that it's not worth it at all. They make a lot of popular suppressors, and as a company is reported to pay very well.
Colt - Recently bought out by CZ, Colt is one of oldest American gun companies. They were known for producing the 1911 designed by John Browning, and the AR-15 by Eugene Stoner and Jim Sullivan. Colt did not design the Ar-15, that was Stoner and Sullivan at Armalite when the Airforce requested a new rifle because the M14 was dogshit. Colt made AR-15s for a long time before FN Herstal made a better version (The M16A4, and later the M4) that met the military's needs. Colt has very little drama that's notable, but in the 80s-90s they made the All American 2000, which was called a bad gun in retrospect by every youtuber on the planet. The gun worked perfectly fine, it was reliable, it just has a very long and heavy trigger.
CZ - Mentioned because of its clones and their names. Originally owned by the Czechoslovakian government, before being split off into a private company, they make some modern looking pistols, the CZ-75 and modern sporting derivatives, as well as assault rifles, sporting shotguns, and some bolt action rifles. There's nothing much of note, other than that CZ fans will absolutely have to let you know they're a CZ fan. They're guns are pretty fine, and ive never heard of any reliability issues. the CZ-75 is also a gun thats been used as a base for other companies guns such as IWI's Jericho 941 and Baby Desert Eagle, Tanfoglio's clones, SAR's clones, B&T's Mark 2, the Armalite AR-24, the Springfield P9, the Sphinx SDP- Actually, here's a chart of how many CZ-75 clones there are, its MASSIVE. People love copying this gun. Dont buy a clone, just get a CZ-75.
Franchi - A long time ago they made the LF-57 SMG, and they made the SPAS-12 shotgun. They were bought by Beretta and Beretta discontinued the SPAS-12 so that Beretta could sell their combat shotguns to police and military instead. Franch makes hunting and sporting shotguns now. The Spas-12 was never a good shotgun because it was ridiculously heavy and chunky, and loading it was a pain in the ass compared to other shotguns that dont need locked loading gates.
Glock - They make exactly one gun in over 31 different configurations. These things are used by everyone and the only reason one is going to malfunction is if you stick aftermarket parts in it. This is the safest gun you could possibly buy, but they fit some people's hands badly. This is like the default price for a gun at 550 USD
Heckler and Koch (HK) - They make the MP5, UMP, G36, HK416, USP, and VP9. They're kinda overpriced and over hyped. The MP7 is a bad gun btw
Kel-tec - (I suppose you could use "Kel") Someone take the crack away from their engineers. They make cheaper guns that are sometimes the absolute best thing on the market (CP33), and other times just a very weird product that doesn't make sense to exist (PR57).
IWI/IMI - The gun company sorta owned by the state of Isreal, their one claim to fame is the Uzi, made by Uziel Gal, who was supposedly kind of an asshole. Every gun they made afterwards was licensed, they just make stuff for the isreali military, and sell stuff to the US too. They make an Ar-15 clone called the "ZION-15". Let that sit in your mind before you buy something from them. They also make the Uzi Pro, which is a micro uzi pistol, with a plastic receiver to make it cheaper to manufacture than the original Uzi's. Its really ugly, overpriced, and you're better off buying a Mac 10 from Masterpiece Arms. IWI used to make the Desert Eagle, before Magnum research started making everything in the USA instead of licensing it to Isreal. Magnum Research is owned by Khar Arms now.
2025-01-26: I forgot, but I was intending to mention IWI because of their gun names, the Uzi, the Galil, and Jericho
Khar Arms - There is nothing to say about this company, I believe they only stay in business because of the Desert Eagle. They make some basic pistols that actually look unique, but there's nothing else, I would assume their guns are reliable at least.
Kimber - A company that was so dogshit at making the 1911, that everyone from Boomers to Zoomers knew not to buy their products. Supposedly they're starting to get out of their rut, and they make some pretty looking 1911 pistols.
Sturm Ruger - American gun company where the owner was actually a bit of a dick and liked to comply with gun restrictions, and supported magazine capacity restrictions. Its likely why the Ruger 10/22 and Mark pistols only held 10 rounds until Ruger as a company started making 25 round stick mags for the 10/22. They also made the Mini-14 which is a smaller version of the M14. Its not that good, but its used frequently against the Ar15 in bad legality arguments. All of their current products are pretty reliable and affordable, besides the previous CEO's opinions, they're a decent company.
Sig Sauer - DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY. This is not even about the moral issues like with IWI, SIG SAUER USA GUNS ARE NOT SAFE. Sig Sauer USA is a completely seperate company from the old German Sig Sauer, and the Swiss SIG. Sig now makes containers, Sig Sauer Germany was closed down because they kept trafficking arms, and Sig Sauer USA is now owned by Ron Cohen, who has not been able to answer why their P320s keep shooting randomly. Their products are notoriously unreliable, of poor quality, using parts usually made in 3rd world countries in order to be cheaper, and they had a lawsuit against them for an old women who was constantly sexually harassed by her supervisor at the USA factories. Their MCX rifles and SMGs are known to break randomly, the Cross had a safety issue where the gun could fire upon closing the bolt, the SPEAR has barrel mounting issues where with only your bare hands, could BEND the barrel mount side to side. They are an awful company and have nothing to do with the old Sig 550 rifles and P226 or P210 pistols that were actually decent, if a bit outdated. Bad company, bad to mediocre guns. There are huge rumors that Sig Sauer USA is in bed with some higher ups in the US Military, as Sig won the contract for the military's new service pistol, new service rifle, new service beltfed machine gun and for service ammunition production. Fudd Blasters and Protraband on youtube have made videos on them, explaining in detail what is bad about them. Their guns aren't even that revolutionary or anything, they're just cheap.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSlleZOxy9g
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RIvHsZZ9ho
Smith & Wesson - Based in the US, they chase police contracts mainly. Their guns are actually pretty dang good, priced decently, although they mainly chase whatever other companies are doing. I personally wouldn't buy from them because they support the police so much.
Springfield - The Springfield armory that exists now is not that same Springfield armory that the US Government owned for producing guns. Springfield now is known for importing guns of dubious quality and function from Croatia. They used to import/make clones of HK G3 rifles, poorly. They paid a bunch of shills a while back when they brought in the VHS-2 rifle into the US to call the gun a really good product, but the gun was found out to be very mediocre and the shills were selling their guns after making reviews to bank on the artificial market.
Taurus - Before they started making their own G2 and G3 pistols, they got their entire name for copying Beretta pistols and S&W revolvers, cheaply. The G2 and G3 are affordable pistols that are actually very reliable, and thus are usually owned by people in poor situations. There's not much wrong about them as a company, besides making the Taurus Judge.
Walther - German company who made uhm, various, guns for a certain... Political party during the first half of the 1900s (Similar to BMW), they almost exclusively make sporting and defense pistols now. The Walther P99 and PDP pistols are very good, and they make various Olympic style pistols and rifles for professional shooting like the GSP Expert. 100 years ago, we would be calling them the enemy, but currently they make guns for civilians and while they do sell the PDP towards police, I can't think of any notable use it has. The Walther P99 was extremely popular with police in the 90s though, and it's silloette is used on "No guns allowed" signs frequently.

Survey Results
I've finally gotten around to compiling the results from a survey I put out a while ago, if you were looking forward to seeing these I apologize for the long wait but without further ado this is the data I have gathered and a few of my thoughts.
Ages- 58% 18 or under 42% Over the age of 18
Decent split between minors/adults but members of this community are still relatively young, the age group with the highest percentage was 16-18 with 31% and the lowest represented group was those over 25 with 5%.
Orientation- 93.3% Gay, Trans, Etc. 6.1% Cis/Het
Very clear majority for those who are not cishet.
Location- 66% North America 24% Europe 5% Australia 3% South America 1% Africa 1% Asia
What made you interested in punk- Most responses highlighted music and/or politics as the thing that got them into punk, a lot of people cited financial instability, feeling different than society, and a want for a different lifestyle as a driving factor.
How long have you been involved in punk- 43% 1-2 years 29% 3-4 years 10% 5-6 years 4% 7-8 years 4% 9-10 9% 10+ years
Majority (72%) of responses indicated they had started participating in the subculture during or after the year 2020. Not surprising considering the age demographics of this space, and the punk resurgence that started around that time.
Politics- 37% Anarchist 31% Leftist 10% Communist 7% Other/IDK 6% Liberal 5% Socialist 3% AnCom
All responses indicated they aligned with some variant of a left-leaning ideology, though this does not represent absolutely everyone in this community I would take it as a strong sign that there are no nazis here despite what some may believe. It was interesting to see Leftist get the amount of responses it did, as it is a very broad label that includes various conflicting ideologies.
What is punk- 42% Politics 24% Music 20% All of the above 3% DIY
Most people could not choose just one of these aspects to define punk, but politics was still the most popular answer. Looking at the result for both this question and the previous one has me wondering what ideologies in particular are considered to be the "correct" ones in order to be considered punk. Historically punk has been associated with anarchy and anti-fascism but responses to the politics question gave a variety of leftist inspired views. When given an opportunity to elaborate on what punk is to them, a surprising amount of people gave vague answers along the lines of "being a good person", some explained that they viewed politics as the driving factor behind everything punk, and many expressed that without music punk would not be different from any other political movement.
Where do you primarily engage with punk- 53% Social media 21% Local scene 15% All of the above 7% Small circle of friends 4% Independent online forums
As expected, most people in this community primarily use social media as their way to engage with punk culture. There is a lot that can be said about this and I could do a whole other research project dedicated to the impact social media has had on punk, but to save you from reading an essay I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions from this one.
Favorite punk subgenre- 24% Punk rock 22% Hardcore 16% Folk punk 15% Riot grrl 6% Crust punk 6% Pop Punk
I only included the top 6 since there were a lot of single responses for the other genres, for the question "what is your favorite genre other than punk" metal, rock, indie, and folk were the most popular.
Why did you join this community- Responses varied but were mostly along the lines of wanting to interact with punks, wanting advice and a space to share projects, wanting music recommendations, wanting to be more punk, or wanting to educate themselves on punk
Do you feel comfortable posting here- 75% Yes 25% No
Have you had more of a positive or negative experience here- 54% Positive 42% Neutral 3% Negative
Favorite part about the community- Most expressed that they enjoyed having a space to interact and share ideas with other people into punk along with sharing DIY posts, giving/receiving advice, and getting exposed to new music. Others said they enjoyed seeing/starting heated arguments, making fun of posts they deem to be made by posers, and posting rage bait.
Least favorite part about the community- Most expressed that they did not enjoy seeing arguments and debates, some got specific and listed trolls, elitists, and the "is it punk" debate as their least favorite parts. Others stated "posers" as a negative aspect expressing that they are frustrated that people don't seem to understand what punk is.
There seems to be a split between the users of this space, it was interesting to see how the responses flip flopped with the questions.
In conclusion, this space is a predominantly young, queer, western, leftist community with varying experiences and opinions regarding the punk subculture. There is a clash between those who choose to define punk loosely and those who feel a need to protect the integrity of the punk label, leading to constant arguments and discourse over what is and isn't punk. Despite the debate, many have found community here and have been able to further their self expression and journey into a subculture they identify with.

hello! ✨ i'm 24, NB [she/they] and looking for a 21+ partner for a dark to dead dove mxm fae roleplay. i want something heavy on power imbalances, dubious consent (and the lack there of), threats of violence, and a dose of dehumanization. my character is a fae prince who is self-centered, hedonistic, sadistic, and an opportunistic cannibal. i love the idea of playing him against a captured human or other supernatural creature in a horror based romance. i'm definitely wanting more plot than smut, maybe 75/25 split. i prefer replies to average in the 3-5 paragraph range. i work full time but can normally manage 2-3 replies a week. i roleplay exclusively through discord. i enjoy world building, sharing playlists, and ooc chatter between replies. i use realistic faceclaims but don't require you to do so. i have very few limits and would prefer a partner with an open mind as well. i do not roleplay with cishet men anymore, sorry! like and/or reply to this post and i'll reach out if i'm still looking for a parter c:
give a like and anon will get back to you

Total Votes: 22,087 + 13,398 = 35,485
Times I realized I was not in-depth enough with my checking of wrestlers and forgot at least one which I only found out because I heard an old wrestler was being accused of murder and the name didn't sound familiar so I checked and it turns out he isn't included but have to remind myself that if no one mentioned him being missing from round 1, he probably isn't the most beloved anyway: once, thank god
Beloved By Gender:
We started with a split of 81.7% men to 18.3% women, which moved to 75% men to 25% women after the first round. After the second round of voting, our percentages are:

MMATTBP Canon Guide
so i mentioned i was doing this a while ago; arc 2 isnt ready yet but this is so here you go! under the cut im going to Get Nerdy abt how this happened in a way that is...paradoxically sort of canon compliant? so read it if you want i guess.
-EVERYTHING up through ch8 page 24 is canon, but not the part immediately after that, meaning dimitri is NOT leaving town. -(after ch8 page 7, nin chased after isaac and he popped her with lightning near collin's backyard on the way away from the manse, but he wasn't really paying attention so he doesn't remember it much.) -ch8 page 30-35 is canon; page 36 did not happen as it did in canon-isabel snuck in so flipflop wasn't taken, but ed did try to go in the front door bc they were tired or whatever so their half of the story there DID happen. -ch8 page 37-75 is canon. page 76 doesn't happen as the doctors burger get there just slightly earlier, in time to stop davy from wishing. -page 77 and 78 happen more or less as in canon, minus the bayview stuff. davy is disappointed and probably more angry/emotionally abusive towards cody rather than being nice, he doesn't get burnt, and everything else happens relatively similarly minus everything that happened as a direct result of the wish succeeding. -page 79 is mostly different-the pta isn't decimated, they're still breaking up bc everyone betrayed each other, but the wish didn't happen. mayor hijack still takes control, he still gives sophie zarei's name, etc. -the only canon part of page 80 is the shred section bc if you think im going to decanonize my beautiful wife you would be very wrong.
okay so the nerdy part. you know how all the chapter titles in arc one are random quantum physics terms for some reason? well guess what, thats somehow relevant now. basically, what i'm saying is that a Great Unknown wish is a quantum event under the many-worlds theory, so it split the timeline into the pnat canon timeline(where the wish DID happen) and the mmattbp canon timeline(where the wish DIDNT happen). so let's break down how that works.
(are you seeing the effect homestuck has had on my brain. are you seeing it.)
so, the event that actually changed between timelines to allow the wish to not happen in the mmattbp timeline was the doctors' arrival- they showed up a few moments earlier, just in time to stop davy from successfully wishing at all. therefore, bayview doesn't happen, of course, but there are a few other consequences.
those consequences come from peekaboo being sent back when the door closes after davy defeats the doctors, but still hearing dimitri's wish. but since it's not rewriting all of reality so thoroughly already, it only follows the parts he specifically said: his family, isabel, and suzy are the only ones to be affected by this rewrite of reality. namely, he doesn't have to move (davy was more focused on the pta plan than screwing over one specific family); isabel still has flipflop (she decided to sneak in that night rather than using the front door); and suzy develops a habit a few months ago that leads her to finding what she wants to know (tailing the AC).
the only ACTUAL canon divergence that's not part of the timeline shenanigans is nin following isaac and getting popped and ending up in collin. which, technically speaking, has not been explicitly shown to NOT have happened in canon!
so, to summarize:
the docs arrive as in canon->the wish goes as canon->bayview happens->pnat canon timeline is retroactively changed to accommodate bayview
the docs arrive early->only dimitri's wish happens->mmattbp canon timeline is retroactively changed to accommodate the elements of his wish.
so, in other words, the timeline split at the wish, and then each individual timeline had a Great Unknown retcon separately. PLEASE tell me this makes sense bc it does in my head and im going insane trying to explain this. but if it doesn't then ask me and i'll try again!

Bad Movie Decisions
In the Earth (2021) dir. Ben Wheatley.
Spoilers incoming.
7:06 I've Ben Wheatley'd before, so I'm sure the mythical Parnag Fegg is going to be both real and extremely unpleasant, but also somewhat trippy and elusive.
8.46 I find the fact that Wheatley casts actors primarily known for comedy (Shearsmith, Fry etc) extra unsettling for some reason.
14:16 Joel Fry giving off all the red flags here. Put in a request to be transferred to work with an ex who had cut off all contact? It's a no from me.
14:41 That shrieking is not birds, I don't care what the woodland expert lady says.
21:21 Wherever I thought this was going, it wasn't to a woodland kidnapping.
32:23 Yes, let's drink Reece Shearsmith's weird jizzy-looking homebrew which he describes as being "like elderflower". A great decision that I'm sure will have no devastating consequences.
33:07 Why does he have all these spare shoes lying around? Why are you not asking yourselves this?!
34:41 These two didn't go drinking in dive bars where weird old guys are always trying to spike your drink and it shows.
35:55 "How was your postdoc?"
"Old man in the woods drugged me and made me wear a paper dress."
40:58 This is starting to feel like a very British version of The Endless, which I'm completely on board with.
48:21 Their escape plan sounds absolutely terrible, which I suppose is fitting for two highly educated people who couldn't even manage a hike without getting abducted by a cultist.
49:29 Always straight to amputation with these prepper sorts.
54:13 Oh dear. I think Joel's found Dr Wendel...
54:42 The escape attempt is going as well as anticipated.
57:03 Shearsmith is remarkably spry for someone with a chunk of his skull sticking out.
59:00 Someone should keep Wheatley away from the psilocybin.
1:00:52 Fry is remarkably spry for someone with fewer toes than they're used to.
1:01:29 Yes, by all means, split up when searching the haunted woods where a known psychopath with an axe and a bow is definitely lying in wait.
1:03:24 Dead body wasn't Wendel, just a random camper we don't need to care about.
1:09:31 When someone tells you "you have very special flesh", you don't say "thanks" you get the hell out of there you absolute melon!
1:23:19 It's giving The Mist, Annihilation, Blair Witch...
1:35:37 Genuinely feels like Wheatley watched The Endless while tripping balls and retained 75% of it.
1:43:38 Good stuff. That was far more Kill List Wheatley than Field in England Wheatley, which is how I like my Wheatley.
