Sending love to everyone who has health issues or chronic pain in parts of your body that aren’t usually socially acceptable to talk about. It’s frustrating to feel like you can never explain your pain to someone because it’s TMI and to feel like you have to hide it. Your pain is nothing to be ashamed of. I see you, and I’m sending you support and strength.

Glad that's over.
Make every day count. Get small medical stuff checked out before it becomes big stuff. Be there for your people.
I had a rough patch last year. My wife just recently shared this photo she took at the time. It hit me kind of hard.
I was in & out of the hospital for about 3 weeks in a month due to an infection from & complications with a drain from diverticulitis. I had my sigmoid colon and part of my rectum removed, with robot-assisted orthoscopic surgery. Recovery was rough while I was in it, but…

Ello! Its been a while since I posted here but I believe this will be my refuge from Twitter once it destroys itself(which it definitely seems like its going to)
I havent been in the greatest health lately but Ill try to get my tumblr as caught up as possible on my art! (which Ive been sorely lacking on doing).
Current health status is unknown abdominal pain, could be my Endometriosis going nuts, could be Diverticulosis, liver cyst, but at least my ovarian cyst is gone!
Been out of work for 3 months with my current job and my leave being denied for 'lack of urgency' which they then changed to 'medical not supporting' when my doctor has said 'No my patient is still in pain' and the specialists I scheduled in May had nothing til August which is still the case no matter who I call.(some of them not til September/October)
I do have a gofundme set up and Im trying to look for another job that will work with me and my illness whether it is part time or limited hours. I cant keep going with no income.

Tw: medical restricted diet
I’ve reached the stage of the clear liquid diet where all my other chronic ailments are kicking off in spectacular fashion.
Walls spinning, heart racing, head pounding. I have no idea how people do this regularly to lose weight.
I know my doctor said to try and do 72 hours to hopefully avoid another dose of antibiotics but I’m calling it. I did 48 hours of nothing but vegetable broth and the pain is gone. If my insides rebel I’ll take the antibiotics and hope like fuck I don’t get c-diff.
Fucking Christ I want a robot body.

Diverticulitis
Something that has plagued my family, my mother especially.
My dad started having problems with it probably 10 years before he passed away, and he had learned how to control it. He started dieting correctly and barely had any flair ups until his time of passing.
My mother, on the other hand, she had it the worst. Her first bout of it hospitalized her and she needed heavy antibiotics to get her…

I am glad my therapist talks to me on Wednesday. I can explain I don't know what I want to do quite yet. Part of me *never* wants to walk away from Rasheed or quit him for good.
I understand his diverticulitis, hep c, and other sources of pain aren't at all an excuse not to respect me/my time. I understand we're probably just not meant to be together.
I still care, though.
It feels cruel/wrong to leave a friend to rot when they are dealing with so much pain and serious illness. I want to keep praying for his recovery and salvation and other blessings. I know that's obviously frustrating to everyone who he makes uncomfortable and I'm sorry.
I can't shut off my feelings.
I still love him.
