What’s the air quality in New Delhi, Jakarta or Buenos Aires? Until Tuesday, the United States Embassy in those cities could have told you.

But the Trump administration has effectively shut down a global air quality monitoring program, ending more than a decade of public data-collection and reporting from 80 embassies and consulates worldwide.

The information has supported research, helped thousands of foreign service officers working abroad to decide if it was safe to let their children play outdoors, and has directly led to air quality improvements in countries like China.

The State Department said in an email that the program was being suspended “due to budget constraints.”

Health officials and environmental experts said ending air quality monitoring would hurt Americans overseas, particularly those who work for the U. S. government.

“Embassies are situated sometimes in very difficult air quality circumstances,” said Gina McCarthy, who led the Environmental Protection Agency in the Obama administration.

She, along with John Kerry, who was secretary of state at the time, expanded globally what had been a limited but transformational air monitoring effort in China.

“You can’t send people in risky areas without information,” Ms. McCarthy said. “We generally think of risky areas as war zones or something like that. But it’s equally important to look at whether their health is deteriorating because they are in a place with such poor air quality.”

The eggs are sorted into groups roughly based on when they arrived, right? The first batch of eggs in group one, Pomme and Tallulah in group two, Sunny, Empanada, and Pepito in group three, and Richarlyson as the outlier?

I'm willing to bet my money Group Two's [redacted egg] is the Unknown Egg whose journal Cellbit found on Day 161. It fits with the grouping (the Unknown Egg was lost just like Tallulah and Pomme, around the same time), and nothing has been heard from them since, so they could easily be dead.

Group Two is also called the Department of Subsistence Monitoring. As in, having the bare minimum to survive. And for a forgotten egg, lost to months alone, wouldn't that fit perfectly?

Also, the egg's final journal entry was the definition of foreboding if I ever heard it.

"I accepted my fate. But I'm scared of being forgotten."

This seems to heavily imply the Unknown Egg is now dead, fitting with Group Two's [deceased redacted], right? And the timing fits, the (few) details we have seem to match up.

Just, like, think about it.

To your Mana Pregnancy AU: what about the little one's appearance? Who do you think she would take after the most?

Ji-young, I finally picked out a name for her, takes after her father. She has his hair color, height(which she tries to use against her mother at one point, and still loses the argument), and nose and eye shape.

Her eye color is a light honey brown that darkens closer to the pupil.

When Ji-young is younger, her face is chubby and slashed with light freckles, and most will fade with age.

She changes her hair style a lot while she's in school, but once she's a hunter, she lets it grow out. When she's not hunting, she has her hair pined up with hairsticks given to her by friends and family. Some of the hairsticks she's had since she was little.

Jinchul usually lets her pick her own outfits (she goes through a phase where she picks clothes as close to his work outfits as she can).

(When she becomes a full-time hunter, her gear is purple and gold. The public is not aware that she based the colors off of her parent's mana color.)

Ps. Her name means brave or courageous and strong. She will also have her father's last name.
