Thinking about how Leo’s portal and teleportation powers have both directly (and in one instance, indirectly) been the cause of him being separated from his brothers at least four times now.

There’s that time in Portal Jacked, where his inexperience leads to his portal being messed with and his brothers ending up in Tahiti.

There’s the Bad Timeline, where Leo’s portaling led to them losing the Key, therefore indirectly leading to the apocalypse and in turn, ending with Leo being the last of his brothers alive (though just for a few minutes.)

There’s him teleporting him and Krang into the Prison Dimension, cutting him off from his family so wholly that the only way to fix this was a literal mystic miracle.

Then there’s the comic, where Leo’s powers act up again and make him lose months of time completely isolated from everyone and everything he knows.

Just, looking at all of this, it’s like the universe gave him the powers of distance on purpose to test him (and his bros), literally seeing if they can overcome unimaginable space and still make it back together. Imagine if it doesn’t stop here, and Leo has to learn to either deal with the occasional complete isolation or deal with time travelers coming back to stop some terrible event his powers (whether directly or indirectly) have caused, events that always lead to separation in some way, shape, or form.

It’s worth noting, too, that his portals often led to accidental separation, but his teleportation was the one power of his that was used to isolate himself on purpose…and was also the one that in any other scenario would have been the most permanent.

okay number one toxic relationship fan here to give analysis on lifesteal kab after the recent kazam stream!!!

kab’s character is very used to using manipulation as a means to get what she wants. she honestly seems to think it’s the only way she can get people to help her. even if she tries to be more open and honest, she often falls back on manipulative behavior when she starts losing control of a situation. this makes it really hard for her to have healthy balanced conversations and relationships.

kab is also a character who’s highest priority right now is a ride or die teammate, especially in the form of zam. this is partially because of the pedestal she places him on. she clearly sees him as a role model and tries to mimic his behaviors. she’s honestly kind of imprinted on him lmfao

she wants to team with zam so badly, but he wants to be independent. she has tried to align her morals with his so that he is okay teaming with her, and then gets mad when he still won’t join her. because zam isn’t matching up with her idealized version of him, and what if it isn’t about the morals at all but about her.

she sees zam and mapiccs bond and she is SO jealous of it. she sees how devoted zam is to mapicc and spawn and why won’t anyone be that devoted to her?? sure this is lifesteal, where most people don’t care as openly as zam, but that just means he’s her only option.

that means that she needs to do anything to convince him to stay with her. kab sees zam pull away and so she desperately clings on to him in every way she knows. that is where the manipulation comes back in. all the ‘please don’t leave me!’ stuff.

unfortunately for kab, the pressure she places on zam is kind of what is driving them apart the most

Tails and Shadow empathizing anon again- and yeah, I get what you mean. I guess in my head, I was more going "Sonic is pulling away from him, Tails is losing his brother even with him there" but I can definitely see how that wouldn't be Shadow's perspective on things.

one of the funniest things I did in my early teaching days was, when I was calling out a class for bad/rowdy behavior, I also paused to call out the quiet kids who took advantage of the bad/rowdy behavior to do whatever they wanted.

Yes, I have a fever, and yes, I'm sick, but! Hear me out. I'm having visions.

Blonney hates being near people when sick. She "knows" she looks like sh*t cause she feels like sh*t. Jessica can not comprehend where she gets this idea but also needs to be physically removed from the room (by Tooth Fairy) so Blonney can rest. While she doesn't scratch at the door like a distressed cat, Blonney's fever riddled brain firmly believes that's what's going on (Jessica is just sitting there trying to remember which grass from the woods helps when sick) and invites her back in on the condition she stay quiet. Jessica agrees, fervently nodding, before climbing in the bed with Blonney and firmly settling herself in. Blonney is initially resistant, but she ends up falling asleep almost immediately because, as a changeling, Jessica drops her body temperature to act as a living ice pack (is this self-delusion on my part?? 100%). Blonney refuses to admit she enjoyed being cuddled and cared for so fervently (Jessica clumsily follows Tooth Fairy's advice to the letter with bountiful enthusiasm)

Now, if Jessica gets sick (a condition that immediately gets the attention of every medical personnel in the Foundation), she becomes lethargic and sleepy. She basically goes into energy conservation mode and sleeps 90% of the time, only waking up to hydrate and eat, essentially on auto pilot. Unfortunately, she also refuses to sleep if Blonney isn't there to cuddle with. Blonney, of course, wants to say no, but Jessica looks just so.... sad and vulnerable that she caves near instantly despite the warnings from Tooth Fairy. Thus, the changeling gets her living body pillow. Sick!Jessica is also honest in a way Blonney isn't used to. She isn't a liar by nature, but her sleepy mumbling is the reason Tooth thinks Blonney is also getting sick with how red her face is. (Constant praise and heartfelt observations like: "Your hair looks warm under the sun" or "your voice... I could listen to you forever" etc etc)

I hope those visions aren't feverish dreams. I know how weird these can get 😞

I'm hearing you out in the body changing temperature. It wouldn't be strange for Jessica to do so, after all she can transform into a corpse, so her changing her body temperature wouldn't be a strange concept.

Blonney is definitely the kind of girl to hide under the covers and die silently. First dead than looking like hell raised.

And hell yeah, we love some eepy sick eldritch horror creature and her sleeping partner whom she has totally not convinced by looking pitiful.

Also, shootout to Tooth Fairy for being there for the lesbians. She's the goat.
