honestly with it being a holiday episode i just can't get into it. i find it super slow and grating, and the whole "nothing was real" thing wasn't a very good conclusion to this episode like it was in others

don't get me wrong, i still watch it at least once every spooky season and i love the "very bad poetry captain" line. classic!

Ou, this Oh My Ghost is solving the "is he in love with me or the ghost possessing me" question really well!

Na Bong-seon has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which of course she doesn't have, but it would explain why her personality so drastically changes whenever she's taken over by Shin Soon-ae. Kang Sun-woo can tell immediately that she's switched over and then he just leaves.

So even though he noticed her because she was the outgoing Soon-ae, he prefers when Bong-seon is herself.

The writing is really good overall. All the plotlines relate to each other and I'm never bored. On episode 8 now.

(The part where he took her to get diagnosed with bipolar was kind of ethically dubious, but considering the circumstances and that she seems to be totally alone except for her grandma, I'll allow it.)

my vat7k headcanon is that Varian's favourite food to snack on is apples because the crunch is stimulating to his brain and he can eat them non-stop for hours— the issue is that the peel gets stuck in between his teeth so much that the pressure practically hurts. Nuru noticed this and started casually peeling apples when she's bored to help him out so she'll sit in his tent with him for however long he's focused on a project and just peel and peel, which is stimulating for her.

Sunstones excerpts i wrote today. Just little things here and there (rated M: for suggestive material and sexual implications in the read below)

"Nnh, Pebbles," Suns squirmed, their legs spreading as their husband's hand traced over their thighs. Even without flesh and bone, their body crackled with the electricity of Pebble's touch. Every nerve endings was sparking in such embarrassing, but enticing ways.

"Come now Suns, what would the other iterators think-- if they knew how you melt in my arms?" Suns could hear the smirk in Pebbles's smug tone, and hated how their body shivered against it.

"You say youre emotionally inept..." Pebbles began, his fingers dancing over Sun's waist, against the more sensitive elastic. He pressed down, his fingers sinking into rubber material "But I think we just haven't found the right nerve endings."

Suns leaned back into Pebble's touch, shivering.

To be so big, and feel so small in Pebbles arms. To get the chance to be so small...truly; suns knew no better bliss.

"P-pebbles..."

Everyone looked to Suns for guidance, for authority. They stood tall above the other iterators, a grand and intimidating force. But despite the many who worshipped them, who sought their advice, there were things that Suns could never admit-- that they were still just as frail and in need of compassion as those who worshipped them.

The only person who seemed to understand this, was the one who defied Suns right at their conception. The moment he came online, Five Pebbles dared to question them, to doubt their superiority-- to seek his own independence.

Everyone worshipped Suns. But Suns-- Suns worshipped Pebbles.
