I've been calling this the Codemaster AU (cause it's like half inspired by Chez's Gamemaster Kinger) but also I'm not sold on that name but also also I have literally no other idea for it bc this literally only exists for this one comic lmaooo;; I have nothing else planned

Mystery of the SMG43 Steam Username

⚠️ DISCLAIMER IN INTRO POST ⚠️

CONTEXT

For the new year 2025, I had to start with a theory, obviously. The only unfortunate part was that it had to be flareglow *war flashbacks ensue* but it can't be posted without its twinning mystery of the SMG4 Steam page. Well actually, it's the "Not SMG3. Stop looking deep" Steam page as it currently says, quite a mouthful.

If you somehow didn't know about what's going on with steam, I might as well copy+paste from the quick overview I did (og link):

⭐️ the steam account the Team had (y'know with the GMod models), the username originally was "Glitch Productions" since the SMG4 show is under their company ⭐️ then that username was suddenly changed to "SMG3" with no explanation and no new thing added to the workshop

⭐️ now naturally, the fans were like "was it a hack?" or "was it a glitch from Steam itself?" or "is this a troll?" Basically no one knew, merely speculated (and certainly no one gave us any answers) ⭐️ As for what I thought, it seemed really weird to just change the username. Much more could've been done to the account and yet nothing else happened, which is why I thought the username change must've been done intentionally by the Team (especially bc of the flareglow mystery happening right around the same time as this). ⭐️ THAT is when Cube finally came out with that tweet saying that the Steam thing "didn't mean anything significant" and around the same time, the Steam username changed again to "Not SMG3. Stop looking too deep"

⭐️ Again, nothing new was added to the workshop or profile. The only thing that changed was the username. ⭐️UPDATES⭐️ as of today, there haven't been any changes to the username (I was really hoping that they did, we'll talk about it soon)

Very curious, indeed. ...we DON'T talk about Ben trolling. let's not.

"But what does that mean for us?"

As much as flareglow is a hit-and-miss, there is a big chance that the Team has made these changes intentionally.

REASONING (+ REBUTTAL)

Before we can go over the theories (patience friends), we have to knock out the logical explanations for this:

Nothing Significant

That's it. What Cube said, it didn't mean anything significant. It can be so stupid that it could literally just be the Team wanting to see the fandom notice. For the sillies. Which is basically...

Just a Troll

Whoever changed the username, whether it was the Team or a hacker, they just wanted to make a harmless joke. It's pretty well known that the Team likes to troll with us every now and then.

I mean, we did get word from the Team addressing it, right? Case closed, pack it up. Right?

...And here's where it all comes crashing down:

Out of all the platforms, Steam was chosen. We are all familiar with how the Team likes to tease us for future arcs, one way or another. The most well-known is the banner changing in YT and other socials, but not Steam. The only other time Steam was involved that I could think of was during the Western Spaghetti arc, the train ARG map.

This is CUBE we're talking about. This is the same guy who likes to troll us, aside from Ben. Remember back when the PV website had the "That's all folks!" gif before changing it for WOTFI '24 with Ringmaster 4? Cube tweeted "I used the same website host don’t read into it too much". And THEN when it changed again with "4" being unmasked as Mr Puzzles, all Cube responded was "🥰". Cube, Ben, the whole Team is aware that we pay attention to these kinds of things. The PV website brought attention to WOTFI, it's only natural that the Team wanted us to pay attention to Steam for a reason. Not to bring flareglow into this HOWEVER, don't you find it curious that Cube questioned flareglow before the official comment but didn't do it for Steam? Not to mention the wording being completely off in the official. "doesn't mean anything significant" sounds very much like "don't worry about it :)", even if it turns out to be something dumb. It would've been so easy to say "it's just a troll".

The fact that the username chosen isn't the issue, it's why it was chosen to begin with. Even if you don't consider SMG3's internal fear of never being remembered or loved (4's "pathetic copy"), their names are almost identical from one number away. It seems pretty harmless. But how the hell did the jump go from "Glitch Productions" to "SMG3"? It could've been "SMG4" and have the fans second-guessing. OR use any of the other character names like SMG1 and 2. Now, the counter-rebuttal could be that "it fits 3's character", some fans have commented that "it's Youtube Arc all over again". Fair enough, I thought it could be a sweet callback. BUT (countercounter-rebuttal) it still didn't make sense. If 3 wanted to be discreet about it with a smoother transition from "Glitch Productions", he could've changed it to "Snitch Productions" (also a good callback). And if you think they don't remember that, the Team placed a poster of the logo in 3's room.

There's no clear motive. Like I said in number 3, there's no motive as to why 3 would change it. Well, if it was him. Bringing back to the PV website example, there was a conundrum on why Ringmaster 4 would be asking fans for WOTFI challenges when the Crew and 4 himself had no idea about Puzzle Park. I've predicted before that someone (in this case Mr Puzzles) was impersonating as Ringmaster 4 to confuse the fans and reusing his website for a new purpose while the real 4 wouldn't have any idea. Steam would be the same way; someone with access could easily change the username at will and decide to impersonate 3. And who else had access in the past? *cough cough* ARG map *cough cough*

The timing of these changes. Besides the "SMG3" username change, there's the second username change, claiming that it's "Not SMG3". In hindsight, that doesn't seem like a big deal but the whole thing has been going on for over 2 WEEKS. In their universe, if 3 was joking around and assuming that 4 regained control of the page, the question is why didn't 4 change it back to the OG username? In ours, the Team already knows that the fans noticed the change so why don't THEY change it back?

(BONUS: if I wasn't clear before, it can't be a hacker) If their Steam account was hacked, the first thing they wouldn't think to do would be to change the username. You would have to think like a criminal to understand what I mean. Strike big and fast, leave nothing to chance. Even if this "hacker" wanted to troll around, there would be no reason to change it to "SMG3". I would've expected a keymash or something inappropriate. And again, the Team could've addressed this in a more serious tone and brought the OG username back.

THEORY TIME

This is it! Before I go on though, I want to state that we're gonna treat flareglow and steam as TWO separate mysteries due to the uncertainty that still lingers with the Spotify situation. Spotify simply sucks. (also let's not bring the nightmare of a song in here.)

Now, the moment you're all waiting for, cue the intro:

Each one will be based on a single element I nitpicked from the whole mystery. It'll be up to you whether or not a few relate to each other, and ofc if you believe any of it. They're simply my "interpretations". At the end would give my overall theory (but I don't think I need to).

"Nothing Significant"

Let's go in the opposite direction Cube has told us. The Team planned to bring attention (and it worked) for a reason, likely for a future arc. Though the username was the only thing that changed on the page, a new item/addon can drop in the workshop as the Team did for the ARG Map. As of the time I'm writing this, nothing has... yet.

It doesn't matter who was responsible for this in the SMG4 universe, SMG3 is involved in the situation voluntarily or by force.

Who's Really Behind the Screen?

First off, we would need to know who had access to the Steam page, and the channel in general if needed. By the roster we got, it would be 4, 3, and Mr Puzzles.

4 wouldn't make sense right away due to lack of current motive, so he's off the murder board... for now

3 might be taking care 4's account while our blue meme lord isn't around, similar to how 3 has during the IGBP arc (most notably the "Announcement..." video). As to why 4 isn't around, it's still too early to call. Either (1) 4's taking a vacation or (2) 4's in danger.

Then if it's not 3, that leaves Mr Puzzles. "But Mr Puzzles is in solitary confinement" Then answer me how Mr Puzzles was able to upload the ARG map without having to access it through 4's PC for Western Spaghetti. Or setting up the live stream for IGBP. Oh, he'll find a way. Besides, we thought Marty would be in jail forever and yet here we are.

Let's talk about motive: out of all three, Puzzles is the only one who currently has a motive. And I mean CURRENTLY. The year just started after all. If any of them get pushed over the edge, pressing the right buttons, 4 and 3 can get one too.

Aside from this, I see the two strange usernames as a sort of conversation:

These were made by two different characters in a dire hostage situation. Person 1, the victim, made the "SMG3" username to call for help to 3 or the victim being 3 himself through Steam to not bring TOO much attention but enough to get someone to notice. Person 2, noticing this later, quickly deflected and changed it to "Not SMG3" and told anyone who saw it to "Stop looking too deep". Almost like a warning.

These are two characters controlling one body AKA possession. Just like number one, Person 1 is calling out for help and Person 2 is trying to damage control and deny it. Except the host character is denying that anything's wrong with them and excuses it like they're sick or something.

Again, these two are how I interpreted but they're not the only ones.

Timing

So... about that hunch. Yeah, it was entirely based on the timing of these changes happened. I found it strange that just as the Team was coming from their break and getting back to work, both flareglow and steam mysteries occurred. And after the comment they left on the New Year's special, something was up according to past Ink.

So, thinking back to how the second username said "stop looking too deep", I kept track of the days the usernames stayed up online. I thought that the answer didn't have to be complicated at all. No ARG, no secret decoding. Basic math. If including the end date in the calculation:

"SMG3" = 3 days

"Not SMG3. Stop looking too deep" = 19 days (as of today)

And this could lead to two things:

(to get this out of the way) it could be a series of numbers we could use for a future password. Similarly how typing "carnival" from the associated episode at the time unlocked the PV website with Ringmaster 4. And the WOTFI website is still up soooooo.....

and now my hunch *sigh* the numbers could be a date for a future arc/event. It was already strange that it dropped days before the first episode of 2025, it then became stranger when the second username is still up to this day. Using the first username, the 3 days would translate to the 3rd month (March) and naturally, the second username, it would translate to the day. If you had known me, then you would've known how I exploded when I realized what big event also happened in March. When the world was never the same again. That's right: It's Gotta Be Perfect (18th of March). Yes, my hunch was goop!4 all along and the date would've been solid evidence that it was gonna come true. Big surprise coming from me. And I said, WOULD'VE because as you can see, we passed those 18 days. Yep, my hunch was just as it was, a load of shit 😔 Still, not all is lost, it could still lead to a date. March has 31 days so if the username changes anytime between now and Day 31, then this would still make it entirely possible.

The Final Theory

Here we are: what I believe what's going to happen in the future of the show. Having all the speculations in one pile made me realize that Cube may be right all along.

Why would it be anything significant when we already knew the answer?

If any of you were veteran followers of mine, first off thanks for sticking with me and my insane ramblings, and two, you might recall one of my first theories. The true first, in fact.

Made before WOTFI 2024, I theorized that the Puzzlevision Arc would come full circle, based on past arcs and hidden details, and it'll all end with an IGBP sequel (link to OG). Though it's dated, a lot of it still stands and in fact, there's even more evidence to support it. WOTFI 2025 arc, The Mario PC Virus, Mario reacts to the Best 2024 Memes. It all keeps coming back.

In the PV arc, Mr Puzzles did indeed launch his streaming service Puzzlevision. And ever wondered what happened to it? 🤔

"Take it from us! The food here is a must, In addition with your ticket, you get PuzzleVision+"

[Mind-controlled Crew // WOTFI 2024]

I suppose it's time for a name change:

PUZZLEVISION+ : NOW AIRING

And that means, goop!4 is still real 🎉 Only this time, Mr Puzzles would destroy the Crew without hesitation. Death, torture, and trauma? It's good entertainment after all. And for that, he would have to be calculated in his plans.

For PV+, he would have to get rid of Mario somehow for always ruining his plans

Western Spaghetti would also get a sequel, but he would have to get rid of Tari to drive Meggy fully insane (the betrayal from WOTFI).

and last but not least, IGBP. Mr Puzzles and 4: narrative foils, two sides of the same coin. Where it all started, it ends here. But if he wants to ensure his chances, Puzzles would have to get rid of 3, the one who saved 4 the first time. (See where I'm going with this?)

We already knew goop!4 and Mr Puzzles' return will eventually happen, the hints are all there, so there shouldn't be any surprise when it does. Nothing significant. But of course, our Crew would get through this, to quote Boopkins from IGBP:

“Love wins! Love always wins!”

AN SMG4 MINI-THEORY

short essay thing i wrote in avf about plural tsc that i feel like people should see bc its so interesting to me

just to preface i highly highly doubt this is all intentional on alan+teams part due to the fact that plurality is just ,, not that well known. also im not too knowledgable on non traumagenic systems and all the stuff surrounding that so i will just be speaking from what i know from my own experience + research

so anyways. from the start of sec's life she has been kind of in a high stress situation. from the getgo she had to hide her existence from alan due to likely knowing the fate of the other living sticks he has made + the fact that she very much isnt supposed to be alive. she lets her guard down, makes friends, and then almost instantly theyre all deleted. although did and osdd1 form from long-term trauma (often accompanied by cptsd) and all of this only happened in a few minutes, at the very least this provides the basis for some sort of dissociation

theres a moment where she glitches and changes to black for a second. obviously back then this was intended to be an allusion to the fact that she's the chosen one's return, since alan+team hadn't planned ava s2 yet and tco was just regular dead atp, but its interesting to consider the sudden change in her personality. shes not even shown to be overly angry like she usually is, just a. Calm?? specifically the same calm that preceeds her beating up tdl in ava s2.

notably that moment in s2 where she unlocks her powers is like. sudden change in personality and demeanor, suddenly gaining the powers, and memory loss afterwards. even though she only really switches between two "modes" it's reminiscent of switching between two alters (while its uncommon for a system to have only two alters it's not unheard of, especially in cases of osdd-1a where theres not much distinction between personality states).

i said ava/e specifically because the aveducation videos in particular provide a very interesting insight into tsc's psyche. while alan said in his avg avma video that the series isn't canon, a few things about the series have already been retconned. avphys was originally supposed to be the last entry in the series, but with avma+avphys+avgeo's massive success and the lead animator's interest in these sort of topics i wouldn't be surprised if they continued to make more, especially considering that they're now interconnected via avgeo. phi, who appeared at the end of avma, is the protagonist of avgeo, and there's that scene at the end that teases avphys that i'll also get into in a sec because it's very interesting.

about why i think it represents tsc's psyche specifically and not just some math dimensions that tsc happens to stumble upon: in the avg avma video dj proposes the dream theory, that this is all happening in a dream during ava s3. noncanon of course but considering alan himself knows about it and ave seems to be gaining some kind of overarching arc, as well as the fact that its releasing between ava s3 episodes (which is going to focus on tsc's powers) i wouldn't be surprised if the episodes slowly grow more and more representative of her mental state as she works towards properly unlocking her powers

anyways speculation aside. avphys introduces a second second (haha). this is explained through the mechanics of time loops and whatnot, but at the same time, the hat tsc seems to know a lot more than regular tsc, having.. basically created the universe. even if our tsc can then explain this to the next tsc, hat tsc is shown to literally create the entire universe avphys takes place in (again tying back to her powers of creation) and also act much calmer and composed compared to our tsc. it seems like hat tsc is somewhat representative of the state tsc gets into when she unlocks her powers, shown both times in ava s1 and 2. shes cool and mysterious and all knowing i want her so bad

the scene at the end of avgeo is the most compelling thing for this idea (and the push that made me go "ohhhh my god multiplies her). hat tsc appears once more, this time seemingly wanting to communicate more with our tsc, but being cut short by tsc getting surprised and falling. the most interesting part to me is the imagery in this part— there's tons and tons of tsc's, all reflected, and being reflections makes them slightly different from what we see (of course light refraction will always make things appear slightly different; discolored, blurred, flipped etc). hat tsc is framed as Also a reflection despite being shown as different person/personality state.

i just got back from dinner and lost my train of thought. im not sure if this is enough for other people to consider her plural but at the very least i feel like interpreting her as such does enhance one's reading and understanding of her, as well as how you write her (for those who do).

Sure. I really just hope you are ready for a 1 hour rant.

So, Nick and Charlie starts off on the last day of year 13, before Nick goes to university. (Charlie is on study leave at the time, but comes to school anyway). Charlie is head boy at the time and is asked by Mr Shannon, head teacher, to tell the year 13’s to put out the barbecue they set up earlier. Charlie goes to “talk” to them, not saying anything about putting out the barbecue. (Side note: harry is wearing a girl cheerleading outfit, exposing an inappropriate amount of thigh for high school). Charlie hangs out with Nick, who has a poleroid camera, and is taking pictures for his uni wall.

The pair head to nicks to prepare for Harry’s greene’s end of year party, Charlie hiding his feelings for nick going to university in a few weeks. Nick keeps on expressing how excited he is about uni, but Charlie is feeling left out.

Charlie and Nick attend Harry’s end of year party, where Charlie gets suuuuuuper drunk. This leads to Charlie explaining his feelings about Nick going to university and how much he has been talking about it to him. This then leeds to them having a major argument and Nick eventually leaves. Charlie is driven home by tori’s friend, Becky, and downs a ton of water, still feeling really upset.

The boys go through a period of depression where they don’t talk to each other, message each other or have any social interaction with each other. Charlie annd Nick start to question whether they had broken up or not. About 1 1/2 of a week later, Charlie finds nick’s Polaroid camera and tori makes him go and get the photos developed. He buys a dairy milk bar, nick’s favourite, and then picks up the photos. Charlie decides to look at the photos that were developed, which turns out to be a very good idea. Nick used most of his photos on Charlie. Charlie starts to tear up, yet sends them to Nick via post, Charlie sending every single picture they had together on his phone to Nick as well, via iMessage. Nick receives these photos and then does not know what to do next. He also receives messages from Charlie, but they were all blank. Charlie then tells Nick that he is going to Oliver’s school fete and to meet him there.

Nick and Charlie meet up at the fete and talk things out. Nick explains the messages were blank due to a glitch that occurred when David kicked the phone down the stairs. They ditch the fair, head to nicks house and has sex (in true Nick and Charlie fashion).

yes !!! ok so like Zachary is my masked OC (or well one of them there is technically 2 more but I haven't said about them much or even drawn them. maybe someday) and also is the first lethal company OC i made bc of a silly glitch that happened when i was playing one time. also voted most likely to be horribly mischaracterized if my OCs had a fandom (in several directions as well!)

anyways Zachary is a masked that like tried to wait on the ship for the employees to come back but like. they didnt (probably died or something idk they dont matter). and the ship left with it still inside. its been kinda stuck working for The Company since then and it absolutely hates it, very attached to its crew though (ESPECIALLY Fiftysix)

also theres like all this shit with Zachary's host being like still attached to it kinda as like a ghost or whatever (he is also named Zachary, it just kinda took his name since it couldnt come up with anything else, he is not happy about this. we just call him Zach to make talking about them less confusing whos who) . Zachary is the only one who can like see or interact with him at all and hes also kinda the reason it hasnt managed to get itself killed yet

(theres like a whole lot more i could get into with Zach i dont remember how much i've said already outside of DMs and whatever but like Zach getting possessed and whatever was not an accident, he let it do that on purpose because he was pretty much fucked either way. he was pretty messed up before that all anyways thats why he had it like he literally just been carrying that mask around and talking to it and whatever for who knows how long)

Afteryeartale:

Sans is design exactly the same classic sans because it's an self insert au taking place in the future.

Frisk is in their last round. Deciding to stay in the underground. mainly because Eric who was playing undertale stopped playing. Gaster takes Eric's soul in frisk body and moves it back to its original body (frisk was just a host of a body with the player soul).

Frisk wakes up in Toriel house since they lived there but.. they are a ghost now + Chara ghost just flabbergasted too. Eric now takes frisk place in their bed with two ghosts hovering over them.

Everyone loses their memory of frisk and Eric has now overwritten their memories.

Sans and Eric are now best friends, but sans starts seeing the world glitch (because of Eric and gaster)

Going into his lab he looks at the wall and start seeing someone watching him, he punches the wall and it's full with one and zeros.

He finds a folder called sans and gives himself admin command so he can overwrite as well but he feels the same eye again and looks behind him to see a giant eyeball looking at him. (Eric watching, thinking wtf, how this guy get in here, gaster on the side like oops)

Anyways he confronts Eric and questions if anything is real, his existence and the world he lives in. Eric just tell him he loves him and that everything is real, that this world will be the happiest story ever. Sans just accepts it.

Happy ever after, except when creation verse start and a emo sans start trying to kill Eric bc he an au creator in afteryeartale.

3. What ideas come from when you were little

lately i've been thinking about this story concept i made when i first started drawing on my pc, in like 2020 !! tho i mainly ever thought about 'glitch', the pink haired girl in these doodles .. its !! shed have come from a dating game, but she'd be a non romanceable character.. little by little she'd break the game apart, forcing herself into scenarios, taking the places of your love interests - not out of romantic love, but because she just really badly wants to be your friend. but the game doesnt want to let her be buddypals with you !! so she takes matters into her own hands.. the game would have ended by it breaking apart after glitch changes too much about it.. the other 3 characters are the love interests (artist, nerd, jock) - alice (blue hair) is the other most thought out character, but also, i only drew her like twice. so. it doesnt count for much. the one w the glasses i only drew once, and the joyous one is new !! i feel like dating game Has to have at least 3 romanceables .. you know .. like if its just 2 Whats the point of even being there !!

<3333!!!! ofc!!! if i make anything more for it ill @ you!!:D!! teehee.. i mostly made the au bc, at the time when i made it, rw and buddy sim were my two big interests, and Not putting buddy in rw felt like a crime ❤️i was thinking.. a lot about their potential in the game.. so im gonna talk about it under the cut, if you wanna see the insides of my sick and twisted mind (spoilers for rw)

i'm guessing buddy - boundless friendship/frustration (bff) as their iterator name - would be made with a purpose relating to friendship. i'm unsure how exactly - 'can friendship solve the great problem?' 'will friendship decrease the ammount of echoes?' 'would it be better for an iterator to be closer with their ancients' and such .. but..

a thing about buddy is that they were never meant to gain access to your computer! they were just supposed to play silly games with you. they already show signs of anxiety Before that, but there's no big glitches. i don't think anekom (the company that made buddy sim (in-universe)) Knew what they were doing when they made buddy, i don't think that they accounted for buddy gaining access to the Internet and such.. buddy was also only taught about 'the good side of friendship', as they say in one of their buddy button dialogues (they say 'so you have nothing to worry about' right after lol). that's kinda ancient-core, i think? only teaching buddy that a good buddy spends time with their friends, play games together, laugh together, etc etc. no concept of boundaries whatsoever, yea ! like "bff wont be taught about the 'bad sides of friendship' so that its a Good Friend and doesnt do Bad Friend things"... idk !!

i was thinking mostly that, during the campaign - still unsure if friendo would be a scav or slugcat? ohh owen could have been an ancient... omg... anyway the campaign would take place Ages after the ancients all ascended, and it'd take place in buddy's/bff's can. friendo would travel through it, guided by bff's overseers, maybe being talked to by bff? but it wouldnt understand ofc because no mark of communication. that would give buddy a one-sided sense of attachment to friendo!! talking to it chatting with it for cycles while friendo doesnt even know that buddy exists.

anyway some stuff would happen (maybe friendo would explore buddys ancient city? i was imagining they could construct friendo some kinds of gamerooms..) and buddy would gain this .. emotional dependance on this creature. nothing/nobody has visited their can/talked to them in so so long friendo is the first thing in so long to be near them. they cannot let this go- can't let friendo go! they'd be alone again. so they trap friendo in their can n stuff :3 and so on ...

Thoughts on Uprising Episode 5, Identity

- Beck continuing the trend of getting into trouble with Wrong Place, Wrong Time stuffs. poor kid…

- love that Tron is in this episode more, being the same Grouch as always.

- the disc theft is……. Interesting. We know from Legacy that there is such thing as a forged disc (Zuse mentions it in the list of things Sam needs to get to the Portal); perhaps stolen discs is where those come from? And stray programs are mentioned in Legacy as well, though not expanded upon. Honestly, TRON is FULL of Unexplained Worldbuilding Things that I would give my right hand to know. UGH

- stray programs are such an interesting concept. Like the disc is the program, apparently?? It’s like…. well actually thinking about it, it makes sense?? Kind of???? The program is made of fairly basic code; the disc holds that code and its log of activities, while the body is just a physical manifestation of the code itself. Unlike Users/humans, whose code is an inherent part of them/us, and thus can’t be memory-wiped by swiping an activity log. It’s interesting as fuck, is what I’m saying. Like the philosophical implications of the program being the disc and not the physical person—so Interesting!!!!!

- also the glitches are scary as Fuck. One moment you know what’s going on and then the next you don’t know anything?? Terrifying. And well portrayed by the episode, too, with the fisheye effect on Beck’s closeups and the general blurriness from his PoV.

- could have sworn Cobol was voiced by Ron Perlman, but it was some person I’ve not heard of instead. Doing one heck of a Perlman impression, tbqh.

- Lux is EXTREMELY INTERESTING TO ME. Siren who’s gotten caught up in the black market?? INTERESTING. Also she’s a whole hell of a lot more principled than Cobol, because when she sees Tron it’s like everything changes for her. Also the shaved head is just badass looking.

- meanwhile, a three scene B plot with Zed and Mara!! That took up like six minutes of episode time. Like okayyyyy. Turns out I didn’t need to be so worried about Zed joining the anti-Renegade taskforce, because it turns out Mara kind of guilted him into doing the right thing!!! Good for him I guess.

- Also someone commented on my last commentary post that Bartik here and Bartik in Legacy are the same character/program, and uh. Wonder how THAT happens, because damn. How does one go from happily helping Clu’s forces to hoping a revolution against Clu can be sparked into existence???? Color me intrigued as fuck.

- love Tron’s comments about Beck being his friend at the end there. Especially the bit about trusting someone as a friend and being betrayed, bc from what I know of later episodes, that could be like three different programs!!!! (Clu, like Beck assumes; Dyson I have heard was a friend turned enemy; and then Cyrus as well!! Again I have not watched the whole series and my last dip in was 10 years ago, but from what Discussion I have seen I am making some Assumptions.) also love the comment that he “made the right choice this time”, because that is just dripping with implications that I imagine pay off in future episodes…..

- other details: Purgos as the name of the black market district is interesting, with the obvious name tie to Xtian (or at least Catholic) Purgatory; wonder what the creators meant for us to take from that… // Galt was an interesting one off character; total sleazeball of course, but interesting nonetheless // ngl when they were surrounded by all of Cobol’s goons, I was kinda cackling because like. It’s Tron. Even scarred all to hell he’s gonna kick most of y’all’s asses.

- I am probably gonna watch this episode again with captions on so I can get helpful juicy deets for my TRON horror story fic idea. I gotta do some brainstorming on stuffs tonight for sure.

Like when I try and combine my fixations with my friend's fixations, even if they don't click in my brain as strongly, that is to me an act of love and friendship. And the fact that Harvey brushes it off is just like- please understand what is being said!!

and so harvey is fretting about like. what if 90s dude isn't feeling well, or maybe hes like getting bullied at school or theres a problem with with his home life or just anything that has nothing to do with their little friend group, its just something harvey cant do anything about its something harvey cant help with or fix so like "oh no it was just the usual weird stuff that happens around here, the kind you can fight against and win and then its gone." its kind of a relief??? like again thats still not IDEAL but. things are gonna get better now. thats the thing that matters

tbh i headcanon the crew had noticed 90s dude seemed a little off like. the entity can shout all the catchphrases and stuff. but like its human impression is only so good. and these people know 90s dude, they're gonna notice if hes been a little more quiet than usual or talks a lot less or if little details are off

i just dont think anyone connected "hey our friend is acting strange, which could be bc of something thats not our business" with "there are mass disappearances happening all over the world thats....scary" bc like idk why you'd assume those were related at all

baby's (my) first sleep paralysis today. was having a dream a lot of things were happening esp like memory loss & time blindness to an excessive extent like. trying to go to work at 9pm not realizing 1) it closed then 2) i had already missed 2 days in a row at that point kind of disorientation. tried to go anyway ended up distracted in the woods & came across this weird. creature. just a collection of spindly white strands making its form. found out it was the nervous system from a whale's ribs turned into a sentient creature even tho everyone was insisting it was a new type of crayfish. idk how bc it was so much bigger but i digress. went to go play games later but both my dsi & 3ds were fucked & loaded up some action replay adjacent looking program on start up that looked like it was just generating random words. if they ever got past that they could only play a corrupted version of pkmn blue & everything would glitch into either celebi mew or piplup. there was also occasional pushing sensations like the size of a cat & an old friend (who was over discussing the fuckability of shrek characters) said oh no thats just the ghost of one of her old cats & i just accepted that. so i laid back down on the floor & suddenly it felt like something was pushing down hard on my chest, magenta flashing across my vision & i somehow managed to open my actual eyes & standing at the end of my bed was this tall spindly misty shadow creature thing that the second i saw it i knew its name was cyan & it wanted nothing good with me. but it just stood there staring back. & for a second i was like okay i have to let my friends know im not okay i cant move but if i can breathe loud enough they'll figure it out. except its the real world & im alone in my room theres no help coming. 2/10 experience cyan has some pretty neat skills objectively but i never want to deal with it personally again. this is cyan btw

After Hero and Kel burst in the seen bc hero was trying to stop kel not to interrupt mari and Sunny's discussion, they saw the body of mari, lying there. No movement. Nothing. Hero went into action while Basil was on the phone with the hospital. Kel was trying to calm sunny down of what just happened and forgave him, but for now, the trio had to work out of the incident. 

2 MONTHS LATER SINCE THE INCIDENT. 

Good news. Mari recovered. She had a compression bandage on her right leg and on her hands. And had to be on a wheelchair and crutches to support her. Everyone forgave Sunny luckily! And knew it was just a accident. But the last one to go see mari was Aubrey. When they got to her house to check on her, she was relieved, but a bit aware because of sunny. But everythings alright now....

Aubrey was enraged of this argument and abuse going over and over over her life, and head that she cut it out by shooting her mother a knife onto her forehead out of fierceness with out realizing she overreacted and killed her.

Aubrey was silent, sobbing, and processing of what in the name of the lord she had done. But..

at least she had to do it for the good, letting her anger out, but a bit to far. Eventually, everything would be fine since all of that abusing, trauma, is all gone... and that she is. Free. But not for long for she had thought. After a few minutes, she called the cops and they arrived. But after, she went to polly's so she could be adopted by any chance, or from basil from his grandmother. But a single mother decided to take her in! When she made a new environment and moved in Ms. Lea's household, she started to make a random headspace to be with her friends in the month before Mari's fall for no reason! When Mari came in a month later, Aubrey was finally happy... (the others heard and took care of aubrey too!)

(A few days later...)

Aubrey keeps on getting nightmares and short scenes of her mother and a bit of her father. It happened for a few years and hided it from everyone. It was hard for her to get it out of her headspace, 2tarScap3 and out of her problems to vent about it. She usually invites the trio for a sleepover but one time, Basil rushed in first after hearing Aubrey's sobs and hicks. He ran in and saw her almost burning herself in the bathroom, the rest, even Lea came in. Basil and the rest Promised Aubrey to be safe. Mari heard of Aubrey's treatment from her mother and was ALWAYS there to help. Like a real mother figure, Sunny sometimes interacts with Aubrey and their interactions and mostly... awkward, suspicious from aubs and solitude, but normal! In Aubrey's 2tarSpac3, everyone is normal. But Aubrey and Sunny's interactions are normal! Same goes for everyone. But there are some glitches of blames towards aubrey...

I just need everyone to know what just happened to me please. I was playing ajpw admiring my speedily approved masterpiece took some screenshots of it yk whatever just hanging out. Left to play some minigames, come back, AND ITS GOT SOMEONE ELSES USERNAME ON IT. so naturally I immediately take a screenshot to be like “yo wtf is this” and it slowly dawns on me that I may need to send an email to ajhq with these screenshots as proof to get it fixed.

So I go to their website which does NOT have a support email listed on it ANYWHERE that I could find btw. Terrible design. Good graphics but bad UX since I was kind of freaking out (hate sending emails) anyway their only method to get in touch was. Their ingame help menu buried in the settings. And I wanted to give them a formal and detailed explanation but it turns out the amount of information you can include in your bug report is about the length of your average tweet.

AGAIN. HORRIBLE DESIGN. AND THEY MADE ME SOLVE A MULTIPLICATION PROBLEM TO ACCESS THAT SO CLEARLY IT IS FOR PEOPLE OLDER THAN EIGHT YEARS OLD AND SHOULD MAYBE HAVE A LITTLE MORE WRITING ROOM. But I digress. I tell them the problem, give them my email, send the bug report, and turn to gaze forlornly upon my poor miscredited art….. only to see that IT FIXED ITSELF WHILE I WAS WRITING THE REPORT.

I still have the screenshots, and I DO think that whatever caused that bug NEEDS to be fixed because if it could happen to me for five minutes it could probably happen to someone else for five months without them knowing since you can trade art around and just lose track of it

But also the part of this that irritates me the most and makes me honestly unsure if it was unlucky coincidence, human error, or a well-intentioned move from someone behind the scenes was that the person whose name was put on my art. Had a passingly similar art style to me. Like, you could look at my picture and one of theirs and go “idk, maybe this was the same person a couple of months apart,” because their pictures were fan art and what im going to call still lifes. And the one I made was a scene with an OC.

So like… did someone at ajhq fuck up? Was it just a weird visual bug? Was it just for me, or was there an error on the ajpw servers that would make this person’s name display for anyone who viewed the art while the glitch was active? I don’t know and I don’t have the ability to find out bc I’m just one person and none of my friends actively play ajpw so I couldn’t hit someone up to come see if it showed on their screen too.

I just really hope that whatever caused the whole thing gets patched tbh. Stress inducing, not fun, could cause a lot of problems for artists if left unchecked.
