I am frequently accused of being a hater, but hating runs in my blood. my family became bengals fans in the first place because my grandfather hated his step dad who was a Colts fan. my family are also Purdue fans because my grandfather's step dad was an IU fan. hating and pettiness is in my DNA. I love being a hater.

My sister (an IU alum like her husband, Beth and me) went to visit her son who is attending Purdue. She visited during the weekend in which IU played (and beat) Purdue. The girl in the background wasn’t planned.

Y’all IU Bloomington just made a pro pal encampment and there’s rumors that Purdue is doing one too…To anyone who goes to those colleges or lives near them- be careful and stay safe.

Purdue is the rival to IU, which is weird cause IUPUI exists as well as IUPUC which is essentially one campus with both schools coexisting. Then Ball state has started coming up too.

UK is out of state and they also fight.

I have 0 clue why we are called Hoosiers don't ask me a single question about that. Nor why Indiana is known for mermaids of all cryptids (WE ARE LANDLOCKED)

I saw that it was Megan (and Bradley adjacent) loving hours today :D I love her and her hubs sooooo much <3!! Ive been thinking, as I have been reading answered asks like how theyve been on double dates and hanging out and stuff, and i was wondering if they have any thoughts seeing steddie together? Like, is steve any different than how he was with megan (not in like an angsty way)? Do they think them tooth-rottingly adorable? I am trash for outsider pov of couples, so im curious :)

bradley has known steve for a while -- he was in marching band with robin in college at iu bloomington and steve was her fun, easygoing roommate; megan went to purdue so no, they did not know each other in college. bradley came to know megan later, and as sparkly has so wonderfully detailed, he sort of always admired her from afar, but was respectful of steve's boundaries. he did not know eddie AT ALL before he and steve started dating, and he really likes them together. he's, of course, biased as all hell, because he thinks he's a much better match for megan than steve ever was, but in turn, he thinks that eddie is a much better match for steve than megan was. he sees why they ultimately did not work, but it's not a begrudging thing. steve's probably his best work buddy, and eddie listens to all the same music he does, so it's very easy going with bradley. no complaints from him, he's just happy to be here.

megan on the other hand, hoo boy. a lot of things will come up in the upcoming megan pov, but i'll spare a few details for now: after a year of basically no contact where they sorted their own stuff out, megan and steve struck up a friendship again -- i'm thinking maybe early-mid 2001. so they're on really good terms again by the time that steve slyly mentions that he's started seeing someone, carefully dodging gendered pronouns, but megan's a smart cookie and sees through him right away. she asks if he's dating eddie, and giggles so much when steve turns bright red in response.

Modern Stranger Things Dustin goes to Purdue. He originally wants to major in Engineering but probably ends up in a more specific field - something physics related definitely. I guess technically this is something that could happen in canon as well lmao.

Modern Stranger Things Will goes to IU with a complete scholarship as double major in Art History and Psyhology and stays in the Spectrum Living Learning Center his freshman year (the lgbt friendly one) and hates the interpersonal drama that goes on in it. Thinks he should have lived in Collins instead. I really like the idea of Will becoming an art preserver as a day job but that requires a a major in Art and some skill in chemistry so alternatively he majors in Art - specifically painting - and minors in Chem.

Can’t believe graduation is right around the corner. I think I’ve always known what I wanted to do, I knew I wanted to help people just not how. Originally I thought I wanted to go far away, I toured Purdue and IU Bloomington and thought that was my home for sure, but as time went on and acceptance’s came through I realized I truly dreaded the idea of being away from my family and the people I had around me (my mom also started crying and didn’t want me to leave). I did love the Purdue campus and decided to go there for biological science, I plan to become a physical therapist but I also want to continue to pursue school. Eventually get my masters, possible a doctorate, I want to be fully educated. Although I’m sad about leaving high school, I’m ready for my fresh start and adulthood I’m being introduced to, wish me luck.
