2024 Tarot Forecast

Happy New Year, Cosmic Kinfok. Here's the Tarot reading for the year 2024. I used 4 different tarot decks to cover 4 different themes this year. Be sure to take what resonates and leave what doesn't.

sometimes I think about how awful it is for guda to kill versions of thier friends in singularitys. It's not the most fuckedup thing they've done but idk it just seems horrific that they know what thier friends sound like as they kill them ya know.

So how do u think izou and mori would react to killing an enemy version of the other ?

This gave me a lot to think about 🤔

For starters, its very funny thinking that they did meet as enemies and they definitely were trying to kill each other back then. If Li Shuwen wasn't there we may not have Izo around anymore dbamdbdm. I think being in that kind of situation again would, in a way, feel kinda nostalgic for Naga and put into perspective how much things have changed between them (Izo I don't think has the clearest memories of that first encounter, being mind controlled and all that).

That being said, it definitely wont be a pleasant experience, and I think they'd have a pretty similar reaction in the moment. Both would insists on handling it alone, won't let anyone else lie hands on the other servant, and they would try to get rid of them without hurting them too much (I can see that particularly pissing enemy Izo off).

Izo I think would be the most likely to hesitate in the moment, but the whole thing would fuck up Naga worse in the long run. To me, he seems like the kind to internalize bad experiences, so he would say "That was fucked up" and carry on as best as he can, only for that memory to come back and haunt him later.

I find there's a fun dynamic between them in that aspect, Izo is very transparent when he's upset, he can't hide it, but Naga seems to be more subtle about it (when its not the angry kind of upset, that is). Izo is naturally very observant, so he would pick up on those subtleties and ask what's going on.

So yeah, In the end, Izo would come back to Chaldea and anyone would be able to tell something bad happened, it won't be hard for Naga to get him to talk about it while trying to comfort him, and that would help him get over it a lot faster.

Naga, on the other hand, would keep it to himself and act as if he's alright, but it would eat at him inside. He would replay the moment in his nightmares and cling to Izo as if he would disappear when they're alone, but would still keep quiet about it until Izo is like "Something's up with you. You know you can tell me, right?"

Marco and Thatch were sitting on the stairs outside, having a drink together and just chilling. It wasn't unusual, both being close friends after all, as close as brothers could be. It was then a rookie came to them, a little hesitating, and asked them if Izo was a 'Smash' or a 'Pass'. Blinking, the two commanders wasn't sure what to say at first, but then Thatch broke the silence first.

"Most definitely a Smash. As often as possible." He grinned, enjoying seeing the rookie's cheek turn red.

Marco chuckled lightly, taking a long drag of the bottle, before answering. "I would do that too, if he was mine, yoi."

The words made the rookie stare in shock at Marco, before running away, making both commanders laugh. It was clear they hadn't expected either answers and it amused them. Teasing the rookies was always fun, though they would soon enough learn about the relationships and dynamics on the ship.

"You know, I could ask him if he would like you to do that. I would love to observe." Thatch looked at Marco, before downing his drink.

A snort left Marco. "According to half of the chip, we're all three a throuble, yoi." Many had convinced themselves - and others - that Marco, Thatch and Izo were all dating each other, mostly due to how close the three were and things that happened in the past between Izo and Marco.

Thatch laughed at that and the conversation continued, as if they had not been interrrupted.

Keep in mind, I do not do live readings over the phone or video call. My readings consist of a write up that is emailed to you in PDF format. Remember to make your questions open ended. I also don’t mind if you offer some context or background for your questions because that helps to give me an idea of what to focus on.

General Reading: consist of 3 cards being pulled for advice on general topics

Year Ahead Reading: consist of 11 that explores important themes and challenges to consider as you go in the next twelve months. (I will especially be doing these in December and January for the New Year.)

I don’t incorporate other forms of divinatory info like astrology or numerology when I do readings, but it also doesn’t hurt. I only say this because I’m not an astrologer or numerologist. My focus is on divination via tarot and oracle cards.
