#ok so. basically i woke up thinking about teeth & how he would show his love for red #bc 1. he can't talk & so he can't outright say he loves him but also.#2. neither of them really understand love or that what they feel for each other is love yk #so i was thinking. teeth probably always leaves the actual act of killing their prey to red or #at the very least. makes sure red is watching when it dies bc he knows that's like... uh. he knows that's the ''important'' part to red #if that makes sense #also! i think the only reason teeth eats people is bc of red #if he hadn't met red i really don't think he would have survived all that long bc he's not particularly fast (bad leg)#& he's not particularly smart either. so he most likely would've gotten taken out by monster hunters if he was alone #though he is very strong so the hunters wouldn't have been left unscathed #& i think red wouldn't have survived all that long either bc he was never particularly careful about anything until he met teeth #he was doing increasingly risky & dangerous hunts bc he simply didn't care yk. but teeth gave him like. a reason to be careful & calculated #which just further proves they're bound by fate yk.#um. i also had some breakthroughs with teeth's origin story so. i maaaaayyyy work on those today. i might actually make red's finally #we'll see. i might end up drawing all day again. idk. n e way.#rainyrambles

bahh i want to chat about learning french but its kind of difficult. like either its super uninteresting to most people or i feel like i can come off as pretentious or whatever if im not careful and noo im just excited to both play videogames and learn a language. im literally a nerdd. anyway im going to make a post on that

#idk ive come to realise that im lowkey boring lmao #problem is i tend to have these massive interests that last for either 6 months or a year before i completely move onto the next shiny thin #like a couple years ago it was guitar #a while back it was stage lighting #now its french #smaller ones have been rats fish woodworking balloon animals musicals 3d modelling urban planning ect ect ect #and theres a part of me that always worries that im going to do the same with french #i was learning spanish but i had to give it up for french #the few constant interests in my life have been m1n3craft and drawing #but im never really hyperfixated on drawing in fact my best improvement occurs when im not focused on it lmao #idk point is i dont want to loose hope on french because i know how long it takes to learn and because the feeling of working towards it is #the best #but when your interests change so much and so dramatically it can feel like those that are most important to you are slipping away from you #idk this wasnt what i was expecting to talk about #though i do know that my siblings also go through interest phases like this dramatically so its probably not just a me thing

#Idk it was. An episode. Not many thoughts tbh ajhdblabfdl #The Kyouka / Akutagawa scene is my favourite ever. But I suppose there's little to say about them I haven't said already lol.#The “Because I knew a man who had the same eyes as yours” will never stop being endlessly impactful.#And I still find it very remarkable how Kyouka is pretty much literally the only person other than Dazai that Akutagawa respects.#It hits me so hard.#Nothing else to add? I think the storywriting in this arc is very good. The plot twists are very well executed.#I remember when I was reading the manga and Ranpo challenged Chuuya face off I was so hooked!!#I was like‚ how is he going to win!!! It's very nice.#I think it's interesting that Atsushi stayed behind with Kunikida instead of facing the pm with the rest of the pm.#I wish we'd explored his decision and state of mind more‚ especially since he was portrayed as being visibly conflicted.#I think part of it simply solves a storytelling purpose of not leaving Kunikida alone...#But I don't think that necessarily means the decision doesn't suit him. Atsushi really looks up to Fukuzawa.#His trauma probably makes him more reluctant to break orders than‚ let's say‚ Ranpo.#And he's always been very spokenly against violence.#Idk. I just think it's interesting.#The line “Kunikida‚ you're the strongest and most virtuous of us in the Agency. That's why the enemy tried to break you first.”#is very emotional #The animation is so strained it makes me feel bad for the animators. So many static frames lingering for so long...#I feel like the result isn't necessarily terrible either. The drawings are not ugly‚ just very undetailed.#But it really feels like there was a group of people doing the best they could with the llittle they had...#random rambles #And I'm now all caught up with the rewatch!!!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳 See you on Wednesday!!!!!
