You're not so fond of going to the dentist. Luckily, your teeth didn’t give you many problems growing up, but your parents were urging you to get a check-up appointment after you moved away to a new city. Better to establish a dentist before the issues come up, they would say.

So you did, you made an appointment with dentist Oikawa Tooru and made your way to his office a few weeks later. His waiting list wasn’t exactly short. Not that you had to wonder why for long because…

that is one gorgeous man!

“You need to floss more regularly,” he added as if it just came naturally for him, which it probably did. You lay on the seat as he looked over all the basic stuff, rinsing and picking at your teeth. Unfortunately, you couldn’t see yourself attracting him very much with your mouth wide open and lips scrubbed dry already, so you just accepted your fate.

“I’m not really a dancer but I’ll try,” Oikawa stopped what he was doing and the swivel chair he sat on slowly turned towards you. That’s like something Makki would say, he thought. And that’s not a compliment.

“How old are you, 10?” he asked but quickly cleared his throat when the secretary seemed to eye him from her desk. She always said he shouldn’t have an attitude with customers.

“Some would say I’m a 10 out of 10!” you responded, joyfully watching as his patience wore thin. Oh, how fun to find cracks in that perfect exterior.

He sighed, shook his head, and turned back to the monitor. You started looking at the ceiling, counting the dots and lines in the ugly pattern until you lost count and started over. Is that a headache creeping up on you?

Finally, Oikawa rolled back over. You blinked a couple of times to shake off the view of the ceiling and actually focus on him. “Open.” Wouldn’t mind hearing him command you like that in another setting, you thought, suddenly avoiding eye contact again but still doing as he said. Dentists are not supposed to be this attractive. “Your wisdom teeth on this side, do they hurt?” he asked, pointing to the cheek he was referring to.

You thought about it, humming in thought. “Yes, especially after eating. Lots of food gets stuck in there too.”

“We can set up another appointment to get them removed,” he informed you. “It should be mostly covered by insurance if I say it’s necessary.”

You nodded, licking your lips as they felt so dry from his gloved hands running over them. “Will…” he was about to stand up but stopped for a moment to listen to you. “…you be doing that?”

A small humorous sound left his lips, and it sounded so melodic you were in a trance. “That could be arranged.”

Two weeks later, you’re back at the reception of your dentist's office, asking for Oikawa. You agreed to do the procedure with a local sedative, as you didn’t have that many close friends in this city yet that could pick you up, so two assistants were currently making sure you wouldn’t feel anything around your mouth for the next hours. Unfortunately, this called for you to stay quiet, and you were honestly just excited to see Dr. Hottie again.

Your prayers were answered, and after they left you to soak in the numb feeling in your mouth for about ten minutes, Oikawa walked through the door. “Hey there, little dancer.” he greeted you.

“Hi!” you cooed, but it sounded odd when you couldn’t feel your lips. You frowned, trying to look down at your lips for a moment before giving up. Oikawa clicked his tongue from where he watched you, shaking his head before putting gloves on. Everything he did seemed so elegant, but you had a sense there was a dorky side to him.

“It might hurt a bit, but just tap me if you need me to adjust, okay?” he informed you, looking into your eyes for an answer.

You nodded, sucking in a quick breath. His eyes were pretty. Swirly, like chocolate ice cream. “Yes, I got it.” You bit your top lip, sheepishly continuing. “My safeword is toothbrush.”

Oikawa seemed to chuckle under his breath, he hesitated to humour you but still gave in. “Good to know. I was half expecting a stupid joke about tap dancing.” he hummed before picking up the first tool he needed and swiftly getting to it. It wasn’t very fortunate, to have him stare at your face as your cheeks flushed red, but it was worth witnessing the self-satisfied smirk on his face.

The procedure didn’t take too long. He struggled with the lower tooth, so an assistant came in to help him and the two conversed like you weren’t even there. When it was finally done, Oikawa pressed a button so you were adjusted into a seated position. You let your lips run frantically over your chapped lips, reaching for the small cup of water he provided you. And had you not been busy with the aftermath of the procedure, you would have noticed the way he watched you for a moment too long before getting up and throwing away his gloves.

Oikawa knew it was inappropriate. His breath shouldn’t have stuttered when he saw you in the waiting room for the check-up, he shouldn’t have sent you a small wave before calling your name to let you know he was ready for you, and he shouldn’t have put his hand on your back while leading you to his station. He just found you entertaining, that’s what he told himself, but he definitely looked off his game when you finally sat down for him to check the stitches from the procedure.

“Everything alright there, doc?” you asked, eyebrows furrowed. Oikawa waved his hand as if it was nothing, laughing under his breath.

“No worries, I was just-” he pursed his lips before pointing at you with the little tool in his hand. “Do you like pasta?”

Your jaw loosened in disbelief. “Pasta? I guess I do, is that bad for my teeth or something?” you asked a bit awkwardly.

“There’s this new Italian restaurant down the street. You should go there,” he said. “With me, I mean.”

Oikawa’s penthouse apartment was pretty nice, so you two basically spent most of your time there after a couple of dates led to stumbling through your front door with your lips locked together. He had complained about the small bed and creaking floor of your apartment, which led him to take you home to his place the morning after.

Now you were sitting on the marble countertop in the bathroom with Oikawa standing between your legs, and it was similar to something you had dreamed up before when imagining life with a boyfriend. The difference was, you weren’t kissing or anything like that. No, your mouth was wide open as your handsome boyfriend checked your teeth before bed after you brushed them. “This is a bit unusual, don’t you think?” you managed to say, making him pout as you accidentally left a small bite on his pointer finger.

“You’re a bit unusual, but here we are,” he mumbled, but still hummed in appreciation at what he observed. “I knew the electric toothbrush would help.”

Finally, he leaned an arm on each side of you on the counter so you could have a kiss, which you’d say was a much better reward for being good at the dentist than the ones you would get when you were younger. “You truly are a genius, Tooru.” you cooed sarcastically. He kissed you again and hummed, savouring the aftertaste of your toothpaste. The expensive kind.

“Maybe I’m such a good dentist that my kisses clean your teeth,” he said, and it shouldn’t work. It shouldn’t be charming. It was cheesy, made no sense and created some disturbing mental images. But you savoured it nonetheless, accepting every kiss he gave you and returning it with the same sweetness.

"would you like blue and pink or blue and purple?" you asked

"which do you like more?" he asked "hm. maybe blue and pink.. i dunno though. you'll look cute with both" you said

"just do both then" iwaizumi shrugged as he leaned his head back on your lap, closing his eyes and humming as you comb through his hair with your fingers.

"thank you for letting me play with your hair, haji~" you cooed with a soft laugh as you press a kiss on his nose

"anything for you, love" iwaizumi replied with a chuckle

they definitely didn't expect to see iwaizumi to enter the gym with his hair decorated with blue, pink and purple butterfly clips.

oikawa gasps in shock and would probably ask to borrow some.

notes: this is my first time writing in a very long time, i'm just trying to get the hang of it again!!!!!!

“What about Makki?”

His ears perked up at the whispers behind him, the slightest tinge of pink dusting over his skin.

“What? No way. He’s just not… Mature enough.”

Oh. He stifled a little laugh, kicking himself for the small bout of hope he’d gathered. Makki was not deserving of nice things like affection, his peers were never ones to pine over him. That would be ridiculous.

He told himself this daily, content in his own world. He had his few friends, the Seijoh boys were always around, (as much as they could be between their jobs and their own rendezvous in the dating scene.) His own dating life was nothing short of… Uneventful. First dates often led nowhere, he always found himself to be too much, or not enough for whoever his suitor was. After an exhausting amount of time searching, spending night after night in barstools engaged in conversations he didn’t quite care about, he gave up, content in spending his evenings by himself instead curled over a bowl of instant ramen, watching cheap horror flicks. That wasn’t to say he didn’t get bored and find himself daydreaming about the affections he so craved. But he pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind, saving himself the trouble.

It wasn’t until he was trudging home one night, grocery bags hung off of his arms like weights, that he was too exhausted to notice your hand reaching for the elevator button at the same time he did.

Your fingers brushed just a little, barely enough to notice the feeling of your soft skin against his. Both of your hands retracted quickly as he snapped his gaze up to meet yours.

Instantly, his mouth dried out, his pupils blown wide with wonder at your soft features. The faintest blush broke across your cheeks as you muttered a soft apology to him quickly.

What a cliché.

He stammered through his words, muttering a soft it’s okay, before the elevator bell snapped him out of his daze. The doors opened and he gestured for you to step in, following behind and tucking himself against the corner.

“What floor?” Your voice was like music to his ears, suddenly his face felt hot.

“Oh, the uh, fifth. Thank you.”

You grinned at him, pressing the button. “Me too, funny.”

The next time Makki saw you was in the hallway, he was with Mattsun. They had finally arranged a time to see each other, opting to order takeout and stay in for the night. They were making their way to his door when he spotted you out of the corner of his eye.

And then he heard you, "Hey! You, we met in the elevator. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."

Mattsun eyed him, grinning just a little bit at the blush that Makki felt taking over his cheeks.

"Hanamaki, hi. Is everything okay?"

You averted your gaze, embarrassed to even admit what had you stuck outside of your apartment, waiting for anybody to pass by.

"I locked myself out of my apartment, and I left my phone in there, too. You think I could borrow yours to call somebody?"

Makki was quick to shove the takeout bag into Mattsun's chest, fishing in his pockets to retrieve his phone. You made a quick call, making sure to thank Makki several times before assuring him that somebody was on their way to save you from your own mistake.

Mattsun chuckled to himself as he dished out his portion of the food, taking a seat on the floor in front of the coffee table. "You sure lit up when you saw them. You've got a crush, Hiro?"

"Shut up, man, and don't call me that. You sound like my mom."

"Hey man, I'm just callin' it like I see it. You went red like a tomato the second they called out to you. They're cute, you should give it a shot."

Makki pondered for a second, you were cute, there was no denying that. But all you needed was a phone to borrow, no sense in reading too much into it. Still, it didn't stop Makki's mind from wandering for the rest of the night, thinking about just when he might see you again.

And of course, the next time he saw you was at the end of a particularly bad day. Makki had failed another test, basically hammering the final nail into the coffin that was his pitifully short college career, and then the rain caught him without an umbrella on his walk home, and his mother called again to ask for the umpteenth time when he would find a significant other. All he really wanted was to drown out his thoughts with cheap booze and even cheaper ramen.

So when he ducked into the convenience store down the street from his building, soaking wet and groveling in self pity, he was not prepared to come face to face with his crush from down the hall.

"Hanamaki! That's your name, right?" It sounded so lovely falling from your tongue, he wanted to hear you repeat his name a hundred times more. "Thank you again for helping me out the other day, I really should repay you."

"I just let you borrow my phone, it's not a huge deal." His tone was more clipped than he'd wanted it to be, causing him to wince at his own poor manners.

"Well, you really saved my butt. Let me treat you to something!"

Treat him?

"Have you eaten? Let's grab something really quick!"

He thought he might fall over right then and there, you were asking him? He stared at you in awe for a moment, not sure of what to say. It was then you grabbed onto his hand, softly, as if to snap him out of his own thoughts. "I won't take no for an answer, Hanamaki."

"M-Makki. You can just call me Makki."

And as you pulled him down the street, wistfully ignoring the rain pounding against the both of you, Makki let himself wonder if this is what all the failed dates and nights at home alone were leading up to. Because no matter if you were a stranger, just a neighbour down the hall, you touch was searing into his skin, and he realised he didn't want to feel anybody else's hand grasping his, or watch anybody else talk through a mouth stuffed full of noodles. And he especially didn't want to feel anybody else kiss him softly on the cheek goodnight, accompanied by a promise of, see you later. Hanamaki was definitely going to go for it, because you shined a little light onto his life for the first time in a long while.

Please this is so freaking funny go read it.

quidditch gloves, parchment, and custard cream by h_lovely (T) 12.4k // THIS IS SO GOOD, I love this fic. It really takes you through the emotions, and I love all the development in it!!!! Their relationship with one another (but only as homies right? ofc ofc), and even their families loving the other, this fic is so good! Read it even if you don’t like slow burn, you won’t even notice <3333

call me maybe by totooru (T) 33.6k // okay yea another (semi) chat fic,,, fight me. MatsuHana are just funny in general but throw some other characters (like Kuroo) into it and it turns into a comedy show. But the main point of this fic was like the near miss meetings and I think that the misunderstanding were hilarious (as much as I hate misunderstandings LOL).

Magical Mishaps and How to Deal by plumtrees (M) 10.9k // I lost this fic once and I searched for it FOR THE LONGEST TIME. But that’s cause I wanted to reread this masterpiece. IT’S SO FUNNY AND CUTE AND DOMESTIC AND UGH. Also the small angst made me SO SAD. But the ENDING? THE KISSES AHHHHHHH. (I’m yelling a lot BUT that’s cause I really love this fic <3333)

hang out fall in love by carafin (T) 8.6k // I love the Makki hates Mattsun initially but then falls for the irresistible charm he posses trope. It might be my favorite trope for MatsuHana specifically LOL. Like I really love this fic and it has MAGIC. It’s like a magical version of the VA one LOL. But like no radio shows or reunited best friends in this one :(

When Oikawa says what he says to Mattsun after the thing (you’re sorry __ _____ __ ____) and the Iwa right after (we know __’__ ___ ______ to make you ____ __ ____) (if you’re wondering wtf I’m putting here, just ctrl F you’re sorry and you’ll see), you cannot believe how hard that hit. GOD. (I am okay if you’re wondering :’)) This is my #1 favorite angst fic of all time and if you are okay mentally and have read the tags and warnings and are fine with them, then please read it. PLEASE READ THE TAGS AND WARNINGS, THERE ARE VERY SENSITIVE TOPICS!!!!

tookumade // this writer has some of MY FAVORITE MatsuHana fics in it and I’m kinda really sad I don’t get to ramble on about them here :( (dw I will elsewhere LOL) If I had to choose, I would say Remind Me by tookumade (T) 28.6k and Zenith, Nadir by tookumade (T) 10.7k were my absolute favorites, but I cannot choose between them so don’t make me.

plumtrees // I LOVE THIS WRITER OMG. Again, someone who has written my all time FAVORITE fics (did I mention OF ALL TIME?) and I’ve obsessively read some of them too many times :’) Because I already recommended my other faves above, Captured Light by plumtrees (T) 3.5k will be my acting favorite rn. It’s really cute and depicts some really sweet moments between MatsuHana too!

h_lovely // this writer has SO MANY GOOD FICS! I really love their series and their getting together fics are all SO GOOD UGH. I recommended my favorite teen one above, but the other ones I loved are explicit so just check out this writer in general LOL. (I REALLY love mirror flower, water moon, it’s my favorite but it’s E cause some smexy scene happen, but it’s really SO good omfg. And like I love it when characters are smart, like I love intelligent characters so like this was just ajndf. (also same Mattsun, I am allergic to normal math.)

This is a pretty iconic fic in MatsuHana hell (in my personal opinion) and if I didn’t have that two fic limit on my staple fics, this would be there. I really loved the ending of it (v cute and v well done), but also the small side stories that were inserted made it all the more entertaining :D (aka the volleyball) But they are drinking underage, so if you’re not about that BE WARNED.

Aside from that, I am in love with sad sad sad Makki (along with stupid IwaOi) and him being a sad drunk made me ajhkjdfs. Just read it and feel the akfnakjs with me LMFAO.

Also, recursive endings are some of my favorites (if you couldn’t already tell LOL), and I think it really makes something so nostalgic and adds depth to a fic.

Some controversy, but the angst part of me wanted him to die DONT GET ME WRONG, I’m glad he lived, but like imagine. I really love this fic, and his efforts in the bucket list were admirable :’)

Like, it’s a very poetic fic and there’s lots of thinking of deeper meaning, but its still got some comedy sprinkled throughout. I really loved the flow of it!!!!

Everything was just so ajsdfljdsn and I really love the 3 part plan Mattsun comes up with :DDDD (esp pt 3). Also, to propose while having an emotional breakdown at 3am in a McDonalds drive through. A mf dream.

Also poor Teuchi stuck in the middle of all of this. I haven’t watched naruto, but it doesn’t really matter. What matters is random emotional sexual bonding over something. That is important. You're in Pink (and I'm in blue) by Hyeyu (T) 4.4k // whooooo Hanahaki whooo anyway, despite how it seems, I like the hanahaki trope. I don’t fully understand it sometimes (most of the time tbh), but it adds some nice angst and desperate confessions, and I do appreciate those :D Honestly, I really liked the way this fic panned out, and I felt really bad for Iwa LOL.

Idk why but i honestly adore the scene where Oikawa indirectly and discretely asks Iwa to be his date. I’m pretty sure Oikawa has an idea of his feelings by now but it’s just somewhat funny to see Iwa being so dense and Oikawa always being so roundabout with his words - he always talks in riddles tbh and it’s frustrating to see ahh! but ig this is the nature of a slow burn relationship

Oikawa and his really roundabout cannot-spit-it-out way of hinting is both fun to write and frustrating even for me. He really isn't going to put himself out there to say fully admit anything unless he's completely sure and, with Iwaizumi being Iwaizumi, that's not a good option.

In conclusion, is Oikawa roundabout and totally unclear? Absolutely. But, then again, I think he could also hire a sky writer and have the same results. The only one of his friends who even has a bit of clue is Suga (not counting Matsu and Makki ofc, they're just not getting involved in that mess)

“I’m sorry Tōru.” You sighed to yourself for the nth time as you turn off your phone, afraid that you would do something stupid. It was the third time since he texted you asking to meet up. “It will be fine as long as long as he becomes someone’s boyfriend.” You sighed closing your eyes, thinking about the day and night differences between Tōru, your first love and your current lover.  

“Y/n-chan!! Taadaa!” You close your eyes as he had instructed earlier and there, he was standing infront of your door wearing yukata. “Let’s go, we don’t want to miss all the fun.” He held out his hand to take as he leads you to the annual summer festival.  

“Say y/n-chan, I get that Matsun and Makki were teasing me all day about being excited to go on this date with you but Iwa-chan too? He’s so uncute.” You laugh as he rambles on about his friends who was teasing him when he talked about the summer festival during practice.  

“Look y/n! we should get the candied apple.” You felt the eager tug from his hand as he led you towards the stall.  

“Y/n-chan, watch as your amazingly boyfriend will catch this fish for you!”  

“Y/n-chan, the firework display is starting! Let’s go.”  

‘This time he isn’t the type that would get excited at a festival with me.’  

“Do you want to get candied apple?” You turn towards your boyfriend as he pointed to the stalls, who clearly looks uncomfortable around the crowds but still went to the festival to accompany you.  

“Yes please, after this we should find a spot quickly before it gets too crowded for the fireworks display.” You can see the small smile that appeared as you mentioned a more secluded place.  

“Y/n-chan, yahoo~ what movie shall we watch today? Is it 1 litre of tears or 100th love with you?” He ran towards you room, rambling about his day. You smiled as he rambles about how his fangirls were recommending the two movies to him.

“I’m fine with any, but would you be okay if you cry infront of me, Tōru?”  

His smiling face dropped as he pouts, “please, y/n-chan, 100th love with you won’t see the great Oikawa Tōru shed any tears.”

The movie was nice and it weirded you out to see Oikawa being so quiet during the whole movie. As you get up to switch the lights back on, you were met with a puffy nose and red eyes.  

“Tōru?” You inched closer and see that he was still running down with tears. “Come here,” you opened your arms as he snuggled closer to you, crying in your arms. “Eeeh, what would Iwa-san say if I take a picture of you now and said that you were the one that’s crying so hard right now?”  

“M-meanie, y/n-chan!”  

‘This time he isn’t like you, who would cry more than me at the movies.’

You heard the door closed and footsteps coming closer. “What happened?” Comes the nonchalant question. You only managed a sob as you pointed towards the TV where the end credits were still rolling. “You’re crying over a movie? That isn’t fiction, y/n.”  

“Y/n-chan, y/n-chan! Wait up.” You turned to watch Oikawa jog towards you, sweats rolling down his neck. His face was red from the heat, he tugs on your pinky, catching his breath.  

“Don’t you have your army of fangirls to wait for you?” You threw a snark remark, pouting as you watch Oikawa open and close his mouth to say something but nothing came out.  

Just as you were about to turn away, you were tugged again and felt a soft lip on yours. “Do you kiss your fangirls too when you want to show that you love them?” Your eyes fluttered open as your cheeks burn bright from embarrassment.  

“Of course not! Oikawa Tōru’s lips belong to only you.” He said with a sheepish smile and you can’t help but returned the smile back.  

‘He doesn’t end it with kisses or an attitude, he clearly tells me “i love you” in his own words , No screaming at each other, no fights at all, there’s nothing about him that gets me angry.’

“Hey, I got you the cake you like.” You heard the bedroom door creak open and see your boyfriend standing. “Thanks.” You picked yourself up to the bed and ran towards them, hugging them close to your body.  

“My boyfriend is so immature.” You heard a friend complained to you. ”Right, right, we always fight lately and the next day, we will make up as if nothing happens.” Your friend complained again. “But honestly, don’t you think that we fight often because we care about each other so much?”  

Was the theory true? You rarely fight and argues with your current lover but with Oikawa, there would be days where you guys would argue over anything that pisses any of you off, but that didn’t mean that you guys didn’t love one another.

‘He dislikes talking about hopes and dreams and is always looking at reality.’

You thought back the days where you would go home with Oikawa after his practice. It had happened occasionally that it was fresh in your mind. His volleyball jacket on yours instead. His duffel bag on his shoulders, his hand in yours even if you complained that it would get sweaty.  

“Tōru?” You looked up to see his face being lighten up by light pole. Your hands were tightly in his, thumbs occasionally brush against the back of your hand.

“Hmm?” He hummed, stopping in his tracks to look down to see your face properly. He truly looked beautiful even if fatigued were plastered on his face.  

“I just know that one day, you’ll be a star.” You said truthfully. You didn’t wait for his reply as you started walking ahead.  

You heard his shy laugh seconds later, “Y/n-chan, you can't fluster me like that,” He pulled your waist, making you face him. “I will be your biggest star both in volleyball and in your heart.”  

This time it was your turned to be flustered. “Tōru... that was so cheesy.” You laughed, escaping from his grasp as he chased after you, laughing without a care in the world. 

That was one of his dreams, and you knew someday he will achieve his. Even if you aren't the biggest star in his heart anymore. You hoped that one day, he’ll find the star in his heart, so you won’t have any excuses to find him again.

‘So, I can’t see you anymore, I’m sorry. So, hurry up and please become someone else boyfriend.

How you met: through mutual friends at a party! You’re pretty good friends with Makki and Mattsun (you meet them in university), and they invite you to a little get together they’re hosting. Oikawa also shows up (for the sake of the matchup can we pretend he stays in Japan). The two of you are both bubbly social butterflies and hit it off right away. He’s definitely flirting with you, confident in telling you that you’re the most stunning person in the room and you flirt back accidentally and/or intentionally. Definitely leave that night with his number - Oikawa is smooth (or at least thinks he is)

Your first date: texts you a few days after you meet, asking if you want to go on a date with him! Since you two are both very fashionable/stylish, you decide to go shopping together. You meet downtown, where there’s a nice mix of bigger brands like Urban Outfitters, but also some thrift stores and vintage stores as well - for those quirky sweaters and accessories. You guys take turns choosing your own outfits or choosing/suggesting outfits for the other. Oikawa definitely has a similar style or understands your aesthetic really well because he keeps finding quirky pieces that you really like! Maybe a nice late lunch at a local restaurant once you’ve bought what you wanted.

Your first kiss: is very touchy to begin with - definitely will casually wrap an arm around your waist or shoulder or hold your hand nonchalantly. However, it actually takes him a while to kiss you! He’s pretty spontaneous though - you’re probably just grabbing dinner with him at a comfort food place when he thinks that he should maybe kiss you. He’s pretty confident/flirty, so he teasingly asks you “Can I kiss you~” When you enthusiastically nod he leans down, smiling as the taste of your chapstick seeps into the kiss. 

Anniversary: Goes all out for this. Will take the day off work and take you on a day trip or plan a whole day out. I feel like he’ll plan your outfits or insist on wearing matching/complimenting outfits that day. You wake up in the morning with your clothes already hanging on the closet door. Oikawa is bouncing around the apartment, hurrying you along because there is so much he has in store. The day starts with brunch at your favorite cafe and then you go window shopping downtown. If there is an observation deck/tower you’ll spend part of the afternoon there or stroll through the nearby botanical gardens. Rushes you home to change into something more fancy (outfits also already planned/picked) so the two of you can make your fancy dinner reservation at one of the fanciest restaurants in the city. 

How they propose: Gets all of your friends and family involved! He plans a surprise event in the park. One afternoon he shows up at your apartment claiming he has a surprise for you. He drags you to his car and drives you to the park. When you arrive he insists on you covering your eyes/wearing a blindfold. He leads you down a path towards a secluded clearing/meadow where everyone is waiting. When you open your eyes you see flower petals strewn across the grass, with them holding posters that read “Tooru has something to ask you.” When you turn around he’s kneeling, teary-eyed, with the ring held up to you. 

What your wedding looks like: big wedding, because the two of you both love the entertain/share moments with friends and family. I have a feeling that Iwa, Mattsun and Makki all end up in the wedding party. Also Takeru is the ring bearer! Definitely goes all out with the ceremony - I feel like you’d get married in Sendai since it’s close to his hometown but still a big enough city so that it’s worth it for your guests to travel. Definitely very well coordinated/aesthetic decorations - you guys theme the things around some of your matching outfits/styles - each table has a slightly different color scheme + settings based on a certain pair of outfits.

Newlywed/domestic hc: When you move in together, you guys decide to spend an entire weekend organizing your closet - you guys have a large walk-in closet. You have a very sleek aesthetic - there is a small metal rack in your bedroom to hang a few jackets/key pieces on. Marie Kondo style you organize by color/material/type for the entire day, investing in clear tubs and metal framed hangers so that everything looks uniform and you can see your options. You guys have a special section for your matching/couples outfits - it’s a special rack with extra shelving where you put polaroids you’ve taken of the two of you in those matching clothes! (basically imagine a Muji display except that’s your wardrobe space)

ok idk where i was going with this (what's new PFF ;;) but yee these are my unsolicited thoughts on the whole matter. also: thank you, nic, for being such a wonderful writer. to the point even your makki thoughts have me reeling from the amazing writing and the realization that you have converted me in a makki stan-

everyone is allowed to think how they think it’s just when they go out of their way to be aggressive over a group of people who didn’t do,,,anything,,,, that’s when it gets iffy. truth is we have no control over feedback. we do, however, have control over how we perceive numbers. all i can say is at the end of the day never be disheartened over a single digit number, two digit, or if the three digit never hit four. remember those are still people on the other side of the screen who thought your work was cool enough to interact w. a piece of advice from me that worked (for me askhdf) is that when you start to feel a little iffy about feedback or numbers (which happens! it’s okay! a little stumble down the road is okay!) take a step back and reevaluate your perspective on it and remember why you started writing in the first place. 

if you get back in touch with your reason, then keep writing. if not, take a little break. your writing isn’t shit; you’re okay, but just remember being aggressive towards the very audience you want to connect with so badly,,,that is not it. 

just keep writing if it sparks ur joy :D that’s all there is to it rlly

Matsukawa Issei

Matsukawa is actually a shy guy. He didn’t make the first move on you but he did help you find out that he’s into you. That’s why you decided to talk to him. He’s not one of the most talkative and outstanding people (especially compared to Oikawa). He’s like a hidden gem. You really need to get to know him to see what kind of person he actually is.

Your relationship is amazing! Like I mentioned he isn’t very chatty but he sure knows how to get the party started. You are extroverted and he’s introverted but you both share the same chaotic energy. It comes out every time Oikawa does something stupid or embarrassing. You two (and Makki) are the first ones to point that out and to make Oikawa’s day miserable (you’re only joking of course but Oikawa always acts overdramatic).

Speaking of which you, Matsun and Makki are like best friends. Sometimes you both invite Makki to your dates and go bowling or play billiards together. They always ask you to help them with chemistry homework and sometimes Makki would ask you silly questions like ‘Why is the water boiling?’.

You and Matsukawa take relationships very seriously. Even in the beginning he’s very honest with you about everything. If there’re any concerns you’ve already discussed them. He shares everything, every little thought with you. He’s also very sincere in his feelings for you and expresses them daily. Matsun loves being playful and flirty with you. He would sometimes tease you and he LOVES making you laugh. He has a great sense of humour.

Matsukawa doesn’t need gifts nor fancy restaurants and he doesn’t even pay attention to anniversaries (oops) but that’s only because every day every moment he’s spent with you is special. He doesn’t need a reason or a date to celebrate it. You both can lay on the sofa and it’ll be enough for him.

Ennoshita Chikara

I feel like he fell for you while you were performing or just being silly and got all the attention at a party. You are very charismatic and charming and he likes that a lot. Your self-confidence and energy are like a turn on for him. Your enthusiasm is contagious.

Ennoshita ia very responsible and hard-working. He knows how to make a situation better and is a great problem solver despite him being very nervous and unsure at times. That said, when he feels like this during a match (or just in general) he really needs your help and encouragement.

Osamu has known you for quite some time and always looking at you whenever you pass by him. One day Atsumu asked him why hasn’t he talked to you since he liked you so much. This boy just that realised that he has feelings for you. He got really shy but with the help of his brother he finally asked you out.

Osamu is the calmer, more relaxed and laid back brother but at the end of the day they’re still twins and he’s also quite sarcastic, sassy and competitive. He likes to show off with you to his teammates and especially to his brother. (He claims he’s the better twin after all.)

Osamu would also forget important dates like anniversaries but don’t take it personally. He just doesn’t find those to be that big of a deal. He just says to you ‘Why should we celebrate this when we can be with each other every day? Isn’t that what’s important?’.

Osamu may sometimes zone out and you can help him focus. It is well known that he loves eating so on every date you go to a different place and try the food there. You act like food critics (when you both are at McDonald’s).

So... pole dancing? Osamu is a big simp for you when you do that. You know that he’s the calmer twin... well... not in that case. He cannot resist you and take his eyes off of you. Matssun looks intimidating but he’s really just an idiot + funny person!! He would be a big tease, will initiate PDA but will get really bashful when you try to do it. Matssun is funny and will always pull pranks on you with Makki, and you could turn into a prankster yourself (heh) Although Matssun isn’t big fan of reading or classical music and it shows, maybe it’s good to date your polar opposite (he’d be a Gryffindor) he’s not loud but he can be if he wants. Occasionally you may find him being loud around you (he likes attention from his S/O) but you will grow to love that side of him! Matssun usually shows that he cares by joking around (he just wants you to smile) but he’s quite the observant one so he wouldn’t go too far with his jokes. He’s very clear about boundaries. Matssun is generally a very good natured and fun person to be around, he’s great at supporting people, he knows how to pull your confidence levels up, and will give amazing advice. He’s also amazing at encouragement (although he shows it in his own unique way). Both of you can geek out together and discuss about different books ++ she also likes napping but like imagine this you reading while she naps next to you TUT so cute besides She would probably be interested in classical music if you introduced it to her, if you told her about your favourite pieces, she would add it to her usual playlist if it fits her mood  uwu also she would also be down for concerts, and would defs love it if you asked her to go with you!!! i think megumi is not the type to throw a party but he would let his s/o throws one (since hes a softie and a simp 😘) but bc im also socially awkward so were both decided not to ever throw a party and just enjoy being each others' company on special days.

as for bakugō *sigh* hes honestly *sigh again*— even the word chaotic is an understatement. hes either super grumpy with all the ppl coming to our shared apartment and bark @ whoever annoys him or hes gonna be super hyped up when we invite his squad and i dont think ill survive the high level energy so yeah thats a no on both possibilities sorry katsuki ily tho

i think mattsun is the most party person out of all my fave esp when hes one of the fantastic 4. so i dont rlly mind when its just the 2 of us + seijoh 4 in any type of party but OMG PAJAMAS PARTY THEMED FT GIRLS NIGHT ACTIVITIES WITH SEIJOH 4 IS ONE HELLA IDEA 🤩 imagine them wearing matching pajamas and doing the once in their life animal plushie reveal (bc who expect those four masculine looking men actually have animal plushies). each of them would bring their own mattress and stuff, and instead of alcohol we would just go with soda and order pizza and cookie and cook instant noodles then we would watch movies together ended with a deep talk session while waiting for our face masks to dry 🥰 uh im in love

Iwa with a Godzilla one, Toru with an alien, Makki with a strawberry and Mattsun with a...skull? idk maybe an avocado. Yeah Mattsun probably has an avocado plushie. im in love with this concept too 🥺
