#personal crap#christmas#i don't think any of em are really good tbh but i'd say my favourite is i wish it could be christmas everyday just bc it's cute and upbeat#and before anyone asks i left out any of the really internationally known ones like happy xmas (war is over) wonderful christmastime#and do they know it's christmas bc they would win just because people know them#i want to torture non-brits with the shit we hear every year and they don't :p

Man, I sure love shows about the hopeless future of the earth in the face of capitalism and climate change (<- me when I fucking lie)
#guess who watched the first two episodes of extrapolations#normally it’s just the dread/deep anxiety that hits hard with this shit but this time I got the sobbing and feeling hopeless effect too!#so that’s nice!#shit like this literally makes me not want to live here anymore like I usually survive on the little things. yk like those tumblr posts-#about little joys in life or like idk human kindness or something but shit like that always hits those things like a wrecking ball#suddenly makes it feel like no amount of everyday kindness could ever even hope to outweigh the fucking evil shit humans do to each other#and the world at large#luckily the attitude never lasts because frankly its not survivable long or short term for me#but anyways yikes! Gosh, Im itching so bad to buy the new Return to Moria game and get to play it myself. I’ve been watching in on a couple of streams, so I know it fairly well by now, and I also know that it'd be more fun wirh friends when Im definitely gonna be playing solo, but Im still So tempted. It just looks like a fun, chill survival game and it's connected to LotR and Im just skrmcljwndoenr. But I shouldn’t be spending more of my savings that necessery when Im not working and dunno when I'll be able to. Aghhhhh...
#personal#I could... maybe... consider this a christmas present to myself?#especially since Im gonna be all alone for new years eve#so maybe I could spend it having some fun in the game...#and I do have enough savings to last me for at least a few months if I spend it moderately#just for train tickets and some food here and there as Ive been doing so far#Im living with my parents so at least the living costs I dont have to worry about#and then in the spring/summer it should be easier to find a part time job that Id be able to fit around my classes#tho I'll have to get an intership in the summer too#and thats not paid work for uni#but anyway#I try not to worry about that too much#it is why I saved up all that money#so I could focus only on uni at first#and then try to find something part time#so I dont get overwhelmed too quickly#but this game is not cheap and Im hhhhhhghhgh#I'll prob play it halfway and never finish#but on the other hand... that still might be some up to 30h of fun and spending time Not thinking of the everyday dread etc#soooo... I dunno#but I might just break and buy the game anyway...#I rarely Actually want something enough to go through with buying it#even when I maybe should (like some more clothes)#(but I Hate clothes shopping so I avoid it at all costs 🙈)

Ding dong it's mental distress time
#Soon I'll make a sideblog where I can rant and shit and keep this one for music related stuff so I'll stop being so annoying on main#But for now#I feel so shitty lol kinda saw it coming kinda did not#Like yes I'm overworked cause I have been studying pretty much all day everyday since Monday and I also have studied a lot these past few#weeks#But at the same time I've been studying less than I usually would#Like I took two weekends off for Christmas and new year's eve#And I've never allowed myself to relax this much around this time because I always have exams in January#So basically I guess allowing yourself to spend time with your love ones for like four days isn't that crazy but I still feel like I've bee#Been very self-indulgent#And also the fact that I'm like almost getting enough sleep#Not studying past 8 or 9 pm#And allowing myself around 40 minutes of exercise a day makes me feel like I'm not doing enough#Like I don't feel like I'm studying enough unless my life is becoming as unhealthy as it could be lol like either I'm doing nothing but#study either something feels off#So yeah I'm very tired but like#Not derealisation kinda tired you know so I don't feel like I'm suffering enough to complain or to be allowed to expect a passing a grade#Which is fucked I know#Like I'm almost nostalgic from two years ago when I was studying all day during winter break and emptying bottles of rum in my room#At night to help me fall asleep#After studying real late#Anyway that's not how I imagined the#College life#also this way of studying led me to burnout the next semester#like I passed my finals but it was the lowest point for my mental health#and then i could not study for a whole semester and I failed#So like I know I shouldn't study more because I can't take it and it wouldnt work in the long run but I still feel like a complete failure#But nvm sorry goodbye

so my dad found this santa letter i wrote when i was a little kid 😅 thats definitely his handwriting so i guess this 100% solves the “is santa real debate”
#i literally have no idea how old i would have been but i absolutely remember what diary/notebook i was taking about. it was on a stand in#the publix and i begged my ma for it but she said to ask santa so i did on christmas eve which was too late for them to go back and buy it#so they just left me like 10 bucks so i could buy it myself on december 26#and i did and used every page to record my not-completely-formed-brain’s thoughts everyday for a year then put it in a drawer and forgot#about it until i was a senior in hs and found it again and i remember rereading it and being so embarrassed that i immediately tossed it#also yeah no my ds never got fixed that bitch was broken beyond repair i had put it through the absolute wringer
