I love imagining going to an award show with Dominic and both of you guys are up for awards (in my head I imagine being a filmmaker but feel free to change it) and both of you guys win and at the after party you guys are dubbed the new power couple in film.

“and the golden globe for best actor in a motion picture drama goes to,” bradley cooper paused as he presented the award, “dominic sessa, congratulations man.”

dominic’s eyes widened, the two of you jumping up from your seats as he embraced you. you placed a kiss on his lips, holding his hands and telling him how proud you were before shoving him in the direction of the stage.

“thank you so much,” dominic spoke into the mic, “oh my god it’s bradley cooper!”

you laughed, he may as well be more excited about meeting his idol than winning his first golden globe. he continued to reel off his thanks: the crew, the cast, his agent, his family.

“and finally. i want to thank my life and soul and heart and body and mind,” he reeled on, laughing and placing his hand on his heart, “y/n. you support me every day and i could never do this without you.”

you wiped a couple of tears from your eyes, the camera focusing in on you as dominic blew a kiss before exiting the stage.

the next award was for best screenplay: your category. the two of you always knew you’d be one after the other, which meant win or lose, you’d have to do it without dom by your side. though you remained happy in the knowledge that at least he’d been rewarded for his talents.

“and the award for best screenplay goes to… y/n y/l/n!”

“oh my god,” you gasped, standing up and embracing your team. although you’d done the writing by yourself, it was an industry that required so many people on a project that you could never take the credit by yourself. or maybe you could.

going onto the stage, you hugged and thanked the presenter as you accepted the award and placed it down on the little table next to you.

“y/n!” a call came, as dominic rushed back onto the stage.

“dom!” you laughed, embracing him as he cheered for you, before leaving as quick as he’d arrived.

you continued laughing, overwhelmed with emotion as you approached the microphone, “sorry, he’s just a really big fan.”

with laughs from the mega-famous members of the audience, you continued your speech with a shaky breath.

“i want to thank the whole team, the creators of this film for trusting me with the script, the actors for bringing it to life, the producers for their money,” you laughed, “um, my family. my friends. everybody back home who consistently believed in me, and of course, as said already, so eloquently tonight; i want to thank the love of my life, dominic, for remaining by my side with steady support for everything i do. i love you more than life itself and i couldn’t do this without you, thank you.”

“you ready for the after party?” dominic whooped, flailing around your intertwined hands in a sort of dance from the back seat of your cab.

you laughed, “let go!”

dominic laughed, letting go of your hand but leaning over to look at your phone with you. he may not have his own social media, but he sure does love to look at yours.

“what they saying?” he hummed, stroking your arm gently.

“i think they’re pretty happy,” you laughed, showing him a couple of your favourites tweets.

the cab pulled up outside the after party venue, dom smiling at you before helping you out the car and into the building.

“dom!” michelle pfeiffer called the two of you over to her circle of uber-famous friends, making you flush. not dom though, to him they were just co-workers, taking this all in his stride.

“michelle,” he smiled, walking over, his hand staying intertwined with yours, “this is my girlfriend, y/n.”

“y/n, hi!” she exclaimed, pulling you into a polite cheek-kiss greeting as she introduced you to the rest of the circle, “so what do you do?”

you chuckled, “i’m a writer, actually!”

“she just won,” dom smiled proudly, nudging you.

“oh my god, what?! and so did you dom! wow,” michelle hummed, “a real power couple here, huh?”

dominic laughed, as you hid your face in his shoulder.

“we’re gonna go say hi to a few other people, it was lovely seeing you, michelle,” dom smiled, wishing everyone a goodbye as the two of you made your way over to the bar. dom ordered effortlessly, pressing a kiss to your head, “power couple, huh?”

you laughed, cheering your drinks together, “that’s what everyone’s saying!”

People I can not tell you how happy I am with how this one turned out >w<

I'll be honest... I forget today was prompt day XD I didn't find out until I saw @golden--doodler post (beutiful drawing by the way)

And talking about golden doodler thanks her for this one cause I was actually not gonna post anything for mermaid XD for real I decided to let 2 prompt out for different reasons and this was one of them.

I didn't know what I wanted to draw on this one, magical was too general for my brain and mermaid was the one that caught my attention the most. But didn't know what I wanted to do with it.

But then golden made me think in the Little Mermaid, and Gene and Rudy been Little Mermaid fans, and they bonding over the Little Mermaid, and this practically drew by itself... and I had to add a jelous Louise, cause I have to.

Gene is always stealing his mans, first Bob and now Rudy XD (Spaghetti Western and Meatballs reference) (of of my fav episodes)

So yeah.

Did I color it this way cause I had short time? Actually no, which made me very proud.

I really envisioned like this, since I made that Jimmy Jr x Zeke piece (you youngsters say Jimmy Jr/Zeke) I wanted to do something similar... if you dont know about what drawing am I talking about thats alright is a little old 😅

But yeah, really like this one, could be my actual fav, if I do say so myself (see I do one nice thing and it goes straight to my head 🙄)

Oh and the text is in spanish cause this is from my childhood memories and as a child if I heard the smallest word in english I would burst into tears... I was englishfobic as a child. The irony.

sting has an interest in extreme gear racing! he'd love to participate one day, but he wouldn't be very good at it. that wouldn't deter him from trying, however! he would classify as a power-type character

in sonic riders, his level 1 attack would be a gruff noise, a little similar to wave actually! his level 2 attack would be a run and he'd use a powerful kick. his level 3 attack would involve use of his stinger!

in sonic riders zero gravity, being a power class he would use a bike! alternatively, he'd use wheel-type vehicles

I think Cleo's early death in 3rd life also fucked him up a little

I think so too. For him, Cleo’s death was representative of everything going Wrong— His future plans had already been slipping at that point, but that was one more nail in his coffin. Cleo just wasn’t supposed to die before Bdubs.

Scott and Cleo didn’t have many interactions in 3L compared to later seasons, so I wouldn’t call them friends; more allies in the truest sense. For Cleo, the flower kingdom is the only other alliance she feels she can trust, and this somewhat goes both ways— Scott feels he can trust Grian and Scar, but as allies of convenience, while Cleo will put her life on the line for his. In their few shared moments they deem the other as someone steady and reliable they can fall back on when everything goes south, much needed insurance among chaos. But when everything *does* go south, Cleo dies. And with her, Scott loses that remaining source of reliability, as well as his Plan B, which left him feeling significantly more lost than he otherwise would be. This is why he lists both Jimmy and Cleo’s deaths as the reason he’s out for blood, rather than just citing Jimmy’s. I think he would’ve been out for blood regardless, but Cleo’s death was the difference between channeling that bloodlust into smart coordinated attacks at Cleo’s side, and throwing himself into the battlefield to do as much vengeful damage as he possibly could without any real directive. There’s a reason he placed tenth.

And hehe I have been ✨enabled ✨Have some Triage thoughts, and feel free to add your own!!

Starting off with my main praise of the song: “I want to be Innocent, I want to live.” I know the point of milgram is that all the characters are going to get worse, but I feel like this video is the first t2 song we’ve seen a prisoner get better. (People have talked about his savior complex being an issue but that’s coming after the inno verdict, in Triage he specifically says he never wanted this to be some kind of hostage situation where he has the power to save/kill people.) This is when we can finally see one of our verdicts go right. The others had an issue, or creeping guilt, or uncertainty, but Shidou gets over any uncertainty right then and there – he wants to live again!! In a series so full of death, in which half of the cast makes some reference to suicidal thoughts, plus two victims who did commit suicide, there’s something extremely profound about seeing one of them change their mind onscreen. We hadn’t gotten a moment of healing like that before, and I doubt we’re ever going to get one again.

The moment itself is shown very accurately and beautifully, in my opinion. His expression when he makes his statement about wanting to live is so unique. It’s not a smile, it’s not a grimace, it’s something in between. His voice is strained, but set. He’s not excited about it – when you’re in that mental place, it isn’t a cheery switch to wanting to live, it’s a grit-your-teeth and pick yourself up and make the tough choice. It’ll be so, so hard but by god you have a job to do. It made sense, given all the previous mentions of him helping Fuuta and Mahiru – he had a lot of complicated feelings about being a doctor, but he remembered that saving others really is his purpose in life.

And then the shock factor. Because of that moment and the family reveal, I think this video had the biggest twist of t2. The others had surprises, sure, but they were hinted at in the voice clips and vds, or they just exaggerated things we already knew about the characters. I was completely blindsided by Triage. Everything leading up to it paralleled Shidou with Mahiru, so I thought it was just a lover he’d lost (and maybe someone he’d just met or something). He had his moments with Amane, but I always assumed it was because of her connection to him, not vice versa. I assumed he was just overdramatic and killing people for some lady he’d fallen for, and then decided to take the easy way out and ask for death. So to find out he had a fully established family, wife and two kids??? To see his main character trait from season one was completely reversed??? (but in a way that wasn’t at all forced???)

Now, it’s much easier to make a character unlikable than it is to redeem them. We saw how quickly the fandom turned on certain characters, we felt pangs of horror for many of them. But it’s very difficult to make someone like a character they’d previously despised. Which is why I’m insanely impressed with the way those three minutes could undo months of my hatred toward Shidou, and bring me literally to tears over him. Suddenly his actions weren’t so selfish, as rash. He’s not taking the coward’s way out. He had incredibly good reason to do what he did, and now he’s taking accountability and choosing to face pain in order to atone. I’ll add more in a sec, but it’s not even that the video shows him as this perfect saint. Without holding back on everything he’d done wrong, it conveyed a real, grieving human that really moved me.

Of course the music itself was amazing – Shugo Nakamura sounds incredible. I don’t know too much about actual music structure, but the tone of both Shidou’s songs manages to be so fun and relaxing while simultaneously filling you with that profound sadness. It’s like an embodiment of his peaceful, sad smile. There’s something so human about his voicemail message, and it’s unique hearing different types of speaking parts in a song! But that moment is also foreboding. You wonder why he missed the call, and who’s calling, and you kind of already know, and you hear the three beeps as the line is dead. Then there’s the gut-wrenching return of those sounds, with the added visuals bringing to mind a dying heart?? Insane. 

And lastly, the visuals are gorgeous. Bringing back the flower/pomegranate symbolism in a similar but new way was perfect. The bright scenery and picturesque scenes really emphasized how happy he was. The video is so bright. His family is gorgeous, they’re happy. His neighborhood is sunny and warm. His house is comfortable and light. Which meant the dark scenes contrasted perfectly, driving home how jarring his loss was. And despite all the good things I said about him before, the video isn’t actually trying to paint him in an innocent light. There are literal graveyards behind him, showing how much blood is on his hands. The rotting food is such a disgustingly painful way to show what he was doing to people. He handed the tag directly to his son, showing full accountability: he gave his son his fate, he killed him himself. The images seem beautiful at first, especially compared to AKAA’s dark, bloody rooms, Backdraft’s grim tunnel, and INMF’s monstrous bees. But no matter how lovely it looks, it successfully  conveys a truly horrendous crime. 

In conclusion Shidou my fucking beloved. Go watch Triage again :3
