#Im remembering why I love qsmp so much

mmmthe dead eggs make me so sad cause of how preventable their deaths seem now.

trumpets (i saw everyone call him this instead of trump and i find this much cuter) deaths were cause of neglect and if the environment was the same as now with the "it takes a village" mindset, he couldve lived. I was watching some of max's videos with my minimum spanish knowledge and they were so cute. his little hat spun!!! the brazilians + french never had to experience the struggles of DAILY tasks. our single parent association were fighting for their lives. he was 11 days old :(

tilin. her first life was neglect so same points as trumpet but the second one i dont think couldve been saved by ninho. I remember watching slime and tilin died soso quickly. but community definitely couldve saved her. the armor was MINIMAL back then like we were running around in iron! also looking back tilin was actually wearing NO armor which was why she died so quickly. slime was so devastated omg. she was 11 days old as well.

juanaflippa!!! my baby, i got so attached to her watching slime, her life was crazy. im honestly a little confused on her lives. she lost 2 to misclicks and one to neglect. I dont really understand like how some bed misclicks counted but others didnt? chayanne + leo + ramon had their beds clicked but didnt lose a life. i think there was a rule change somewhere. chaotic as hell but ik slimariana were genuinely sad over her death so i feel like if she was brought back now she would have a higher chance of survival. our youngest tho she died at 10 days.

lastly bobby chingon. ninho 100% would have saved him. ik his and tallulahs deaths were basically the reason forever created the nest, and its such a perfect solution. stasis pearls were always an option but no one really thought about it/ the community trust wasnt as established. its kinda bittersweet tbh. bobby lost one of his lives to the code which we now have a defense against and his second life... so upsetting because roier didnt even want to go to the dugeon initially but a stasis pearl wouldve been so easy. 44 days old

the brazilians rlly transformed qsmp and forever creating ninho was so good i need him recieve all the love from everyone. our little community was so shaped by the eggs i wish all of them were here but also their deaths kinda paved the way for some of the lore.

OP! You ain't have to put me in my feels on the significance of Bads presence/absence. It's so scary! But that's why I love and appreciate his qsmp addition and care for the eggs. We literally almost lost Pepito last night. Phil and Bagi resorted to OG methods of finding him,(the map, which is unreliable) they did not know what to do during vital seconds before death. They were stuck. Okay? That's scary. No other parent is really thinking of those things, especially now, new server and busy schedules. Bad mentioned to qphilza that he should set up the pearl chamber for chay and lullah and he kinda brushed it like nah.. its all good. Mmkah sir.

Bold take but I'll say it: Every creator wants or enjoys the EGGs presence but not all are actually willing or able to care for said egg/s. (Still waiting and in hope for the 2 life system to be a thing of the past because it gets stressful.) In real life it take a lot to care for child and its no different on qsmp.

It take the village and when events come up in real life(vacations/conferences etc) it gets scary on the server.

It was awesome for em sunny and pepito to get a bday party and as much i love seeing all the little egg beans bounce around and thrive.. with only three adults? - My mind: PLEASE!! I'm so glad we don't have an active enemy yet..

I could go on but im not going to right now. Pfft. I'll be nice. Watching bads streams of the eggs pov have given a new light.

well i have bad memory but FROM WHAT I REMEMBER hes never directly said anything about it. after some observation ive noticed he’s one of the qsmp creators that sticks the most to speaking their native language. its rarer to see him speak english on the qsmp than spanish. which is why purgatory was so wild. he was speaking english 24/7. though he didnt stream most of it. (due to being sick. i have a feeling if he streamed it he would’ve spoken spanish more) regularly on the qsmp he tends to chill on his own especially when he was building bobby city he talks to chat and donos a lot.

ik he’s makes jokes about being one of the only active hispanics like when he saw pepitos certificate for the first time he was like oh come on im basically a single parent none of these people log on😭 but he’s never outright said This is how i feel about it. he doesnt seem to mind. he always reminds his chat to not go into other cc’s chats telling them to log on the qsmp cus thats weird and disrespectful. so theres that. i do give roier so many props because he and pol and occasionally quackity are the only active spanish speakers. i would imagine thats kinda tough if you’re making spanish content and lack people to make the content with but roier makes it work really well and genuinely seems to enjoy playing on the server. plus he has the admins and cellbit. MASSIVE SHOUTOUT TO CELLBIT TBH. he also carries the spanish spoken percentile on the server.

ig thats why im so spiderbit heavy on my blog. i love the ship and dynamic but what really pulls me towards them is the fact. they actually are the few people on the server that make the effort to speak my language

-being the second teacher of the school wasn’t hard work, they were all angels, to you anyway. your shared classes with quackity were full of suppressed laughs as chayanne had a strong dislike for your teaching partner, throwing pencils at him when he was writing on the board, or out right hitting him. you didn’t know the full extent as to why Chayanne did that, but you knew he had good reasoning, his grudges were to be held seriously, as you knew one of his fathers, Phil, was a man true to his word and grudges.

-you taught the kids painting, and creative writing, you sang to them and read to them, encouraging them to read any genre they wanted. the amount of fantasy books revolving around dragons that you had were now entirely gone, the eggs were curious after all, with no dragon mother around anymore, no one had any idea what sort of dragon they would become.

-along with the creativities, you taught them self défense and how to hold their own, you knew quackity was almost entirely useless in combat. it was pretty obvious from the fact chayanne could ruffle his feathers.

it started off small, teaching the kids strategies on how to get away, how to disarm. but after a while, the eggs became hungry, hungry to fight. they were all unanimously sick of being defended by their parents, they wanted to fight beside them, without being a liability. you were hesitant, but as best and less dangerous as you could, you taught them. you taught the kids how to knock entities out, how to break bones with clean slices, how to stun someone, and in some instances, in only emergencies. how to do a quick and clean, and mostly humane kill.

Tallulah had been lying to her father, about what she was doing at school, she knew he didn’t want her to fight, but she had to, for herself. and as much as Chayanne was strong and skilled, Tullulah didn’t want to be defenceless, always waiting for a knight in shining armour, it left a bitter taste in her mouth.

Dapper loved learning to fight, it was more material to mess around with his uncle foolish, to get on his nerves and escape, or to taunt his uncle because Dapper’s new tricks were too advanced for him. You remember spotting Bad peeking in on your lessons a few times, studying dapper, most likely seeing if you were teaching him right. Bad would have your head if your fighting and self defence classes were void and null.

you often caught Leo on her communicator, talking to their father’s. you saw glimpses of messages from foolish varying from, “kick dappers ass” or “you’re the best fighter outta all of em”. And messages from vegetta were always so sweet, “you are so good hija! tu son muy bien :D”. it warmed your heart to see, but you always had to remind the kid that the more she got distracted, the less she learnt.

whenever quackity did bravely step into one of your lessons, some had beelined to him to show him what you taught them. despite your objections, The other teacher was floored in seconds, with eggs triumphantly standing on his. “c’mon guys.” you grinned, gaining their attention once again, “you’re really wasting your awesome skills on someone who’s strength is equivalent to a worm?” you laughed.

Quackity had pulled you aside after class to ask for lessons, turns out, being called a worm had given him motivation to not be useless in a fight.

Ohhhh man ok bare with me. I am responding to this while there are fire trucks outside because someone set their apartment on fire.

For the sake of ease I’m going to break this up into talking about what anarchy arcs can look like, and what I’d think one would look like on the QSMP specifically or at least how it would actually affect the server. For reference I am a legitimate anarchist so if you’re wondering why this stuff gets under my skin that’s why lol.

Now most anarchy arcs on SMPs usually spawn from someone having a problem with the current leadership, status quo, or societal structure of the server. They want to overthrow or disrupt things because, for whatever reason, they don’t like them. That is technically the textbook definition of anarchism. However, a common mistake is that there is no long term plan. Most creators focus so intently on the overthrowing the government part they don’t stop and think ‘ok what am I going to do after I’ve completed this goal?’ And I can’t exactly blame them. The aftermath isn’t exactly as fun as the overthrowing part, but it usually just results in a new ruling party stepping into the subsequent power vacuum. Let’s take Technoblade on the dsmp for example: as much as I loved his character, he never had a follow up plan once he overthrew governments, and that’s pretty much exactly why he got caught in a neverending struggle of destroying L’manberg only for it to be built back up again. This constant overlooking of a follow up plan often leads to viewers misinterpreting anarchy as just destroying any sort of governing body and leaving the citizens to clean up the mess. Now there are other contributing factors, namely the existence of anarchy servers. They tend to cause most to have a pretty negative reaction when ‘anarchy’ and ‘minecraft’ are in the same sentence lol, but the point im getting at is there is a difference between textbook anarchy and political anarchy and that’s often overlooked by creators and viewers when discussing anarchy arcs.

Now as for what an anarchy arc would look like on the QSMP? Honestly, not that different from what Bad has been attempting. Remember, anarchy is fighting back against a ruling party. Who is the island’s ruling party? The Federation. Now unfortunately Forever is going to get caught up in the mix since he won the presidency and seems to be intent on keeping that title, but you can’t make an omelet without cracking a few eggs. Most of the other islanders aren’t exactly actively upholding the Federation’s ideals. They all seem pretty vocal about their dislike of the Federation. Bad isn’t exactly advocating for going after the islanders. In fact he’s done a pretty good job setting up a long term plan by aiding in the island community so much. intentionally or not, he’s helped to mitigate any negative effects that could possibly come from overthrowing the Federation. I think a lot of people hear anarchy arc and automatically equate it to a villain arc, when in reality the only people that Bad might be antagonistic towards are Forever, since he is unfortunately upholding the governing body by remaining president, and possibly Cellbit, Jaiden, and Foolish (as they are Federation employees, but I trust Bad to recognize their situations.)

there is no dragon. the eggs are hunger games mutt style entities designed to be loved by the islanders in the experiment. even if the largest dragon in the world vanished with Nobody seeing her, why the hell would she leave her eggs behind and why are new Custom eggs appearing for every new person on the island? the eggs love their parents, theyve got no clue whats going on, but they are tools being used by the duck/cucurucho/the federation for some experiment.

the binary named people are Someone Else, and They took the eggs and corrupted the duck's broadcast to say the eggs would die in 6 days. i dont have every bit of knowledge on them but the green code entities seem like theyre federation aligned since everything ive seen them do is like, cleaning up Discrepancies. they also have power to change night/day, a thing i havent seen any of our 101010111 buddies do.

the Alternative is that the binary folks arent breaking in and corrupting videos, theyre a planned part of the federation's experiments regarding parents and their egg attachments. the smile in the chat ties the "Give Up" guy to the ones who abducted the eggs, the only reason im suspicious that the egg abductors are part of the federation is If The Anti-Federation People Got The Eggs Why Did The Eggs End Up Back At The Adoption Center With A New Egg And The Anti-Federation Put A Chat Message Like It Was Planned. like thats weird, dude. makes the anti-federation squad seem less like a separate entity and more like a sock puppet so that the parents have an antagonist to focus on instead of questioning the federation or the origins of their eggs.

Advice on tumblr... Err... Okay first off I've been here for over 10 years and /still/ don't really know how it works. But! I shall do my best.

If you're on browser, take the time to install xkit rewritten (or whichever form of xkit is most up to date). This has so many quality of life features like auto-tagging your reblogs and making tag bundles

I can't remember if tumblr by recommended is still a thing, but go into your settings and tell it to display dash in chronological anyway. I'd also recommend turning ON custom theme (biggest bonus - a version of your blog that links can be made to without tumblr demanding viewers log in on mobile - but also enables a month by month fast archive), OFF share following, and have an explore about other options. Things like turning your ask box on and off and also submissions are super helpful if you ever have problems with people sending you hate. I've been lucky enough not to, but its a social media platform, it can happen. Also you never have to have asks or submissions on ever if you don't want to. I'd also recommend snoozing tumblr live every month because otherwise you will be shown pictures of half naked women on your dash trying to get you to use it. God only knows why.

the site runs mostly on reblogs. This puts a copy of your post onto your blog, where people who follow you can then see it in turn! You can add comments to these - which again is always acceptable so long as you're being polite - which unlike twitter quote retweets will not 'steal' stats from the OP. You'll get notifications for likes and reblogs with that addition, the OP will still get those ones as well. Same goes for writing things in tags.

There's 3 ways to add comment on a post - reblog with comment, tags, and replies. Comment is just you add more stuff to the post, and anyone who reblogs it from you will share those too - an addition to the content. Replies are like quiet chatter - anyone can see them and reply if they click the button to view, but they're not in their face. There's often a lot of crap there, but welcome to any platform. Tags are, theoretically, for filing, but because people can see them they're often used to add bits of commentry - in the past they were only visible to your followers and visitors to your blog without extensions, though now they're visible to the OP, whomever you reblogged from, and anyone looking in the notes. However tags have no direct way to reply - sometimes people will reblog from the person whose tags they are responding to, or screenshot them and add them to the post, but there's no built in feature for it unlike replies. Whichever way you choose, comments are how community is built.

Tags! The first five tags are searchable, the rest aren't. Put most important stuff there. The system also breaks constantly.

Learn where the 'report for spam' buttons are for IMs and new followers. You will get some, sooner or later. Even my unlisted side blogs manage it.

You have a limit of 250 posts per day over your blog and any side blogs! I only started hitting this when I started liveblogging qsmp, tho, so don't worry /too/ much.

For sideblogs, the UI for deleting them is /really bad/. If you go to a sideblog, then its specific blog settings, then scroll down to the button which says 'delete [name of sideblog]', this button will delete your entire account, not just the sideblog. And getting it back isn't possible in most cases

Your block list is private, make use of it. Block specific tags for your triggers ("fandom neg" is a good start tbh), spam accounts, block anyone being an ass, block people because you see them a lot and you don't like their artstyle but people you follow do and you just want it off your blog - there is no morality involved in blocking, just do it to make your tumblr a happier place.

Unless someone says not to in their description, just scrolling through their entire blog and liking/reblogging things is fair game.

Likes do not share things to other people (and so artists will get sad if they get many likes and not many reblogs) but are super useful to mark when you've already seen something, or if you're (like me) sometimes on mobile and sometimes on computer and want to save them for the computer where tagging is a bit easier. I'd personally recommend turning them to private in settings, but each to their own.

The queue! Beloved queue. If you add things to your queue they will auto-post later. I use it for when I hit post count, and also to store up reblogged art for later.

Concerning side blogs - you can only follow, like and send asks from your main account, but you can post on, reblog to, recieve messages to, and reply from any (replying from side accounts is very new and very exciting). (So my case is obvious but if you see @factorialrabbits about in your notifications, that's my main, this is a side <3 )

Tagging/atting people! If you want someone's attention on a post, you use "@", then type their name. This doesn't always work, and should be used sparingly as it's basically like showing up to their front door and yelling for them lol. I mostly see it used for reblog games, and if someone's asked for say specific clips or timestamps for a VoD alerting them to a post which has them.

Search is fucky, but its a good way to find art. I tend not to search by tags, just keywords, then swap to most recent. Trying to find a specific post after its gone, though? good luck you'll need it.

Not a modern tumblr, but trivia - historically you used to be able to get an email address for your blog, and any email you sent to that address would be posted to it, and of all tumblr features I miss it the most.

I was so very very vocal around you kids - dsmp and qsmp,, im just full of bird noises :]!! Coos, chirps, quacks, squawks, you name it !!! I had a large variety of bird noises I made towards you and your siblings <3 !!

In the dsmp i had a bad track record with love and was verY traumatized so the way I showed love at first was through gifts !!! I used to spoil Tommy rotten :]. (Tubbo wouldnt let me - he refused to take my gifts)

And then after I healed and realized I didnt need to hide my affection for others - I gave out words of affirmation and physical touch !!!

I WAS LIKE. PRETTY FUCKED UP ???? In the dsmp, after I got my injury to my eye/face, I had to take a couple weeks at least to be able to properly navigate again. Karl and Sapnap forced me into using a cane, which was something I very much needed if I didn’t want to walk into something or just fall over-

And just the eye thing in general messed me up permanently ??? Like I stopped using my cane and was okay most of the time without it - but my vision was really fucked and I couldn’t read cursive at all and needed bigger writing on documents to be able to read them, but the dsmp wasn’t a very accessible space so I just sucked it up and dealt with it.

I even learned braille because of it !!! Sam taught me braille !!! Sam also taught me some basic ASL and Foolish taught me more in depth ASL.

I remember Wil getting bad back pains and just aches after they got revived. I think it was just a side effect they had to deal with after it all. We couldn’t do much to help it, but I always made sure to give them a heating pad and some good pillows !!

Speaking of - I believe both me and Wil had chronic fatigue ? I think I just had it while Wil got it as a side effect from getting revived - either way it SUCKED

I remember playing with Fundy during Pogtopia and making sure he stayed fed and kept him company when I could :]

This isn’t a memory but in my head I always refer to Ranboo as the weird stray cat my kids decided to start feeding that never left lmao /lh /aff

Phil took care of me once ???????? I’m pretty sure I was grieving Wilbur and dealing with a whole bunch of feelings about that entire situation when he died - and I ended up on Phils doorstep basically completely shut down and he took me in and just started fully taking care of me. It was a weird experience- I don’t like the man for my own personal grudges but he’s still a kind soul.

Wilbur had a tendency to work himself or keep himself busy until he passed out - he hated sleeping after revival.

Schlatt but the bi in bitch - and other than that fantastic line I don’t want to talk about him lmao

Hi hello I am very curious about the Hotel AU, this is your invitation to lore dump about it 👀

HI HELLO BONSOIR

rant below cut (so i dont kill the tag and ppls dashes ajaja)

okay so the basis is: what if qsmp but instead of island it is a death hotel

to go further in about it:

somewhere between hell and what is nicknamed superhell there is a very weird hotel. and its not a hotel that souls stay in, quite the opposite. fully alive people end up getting forced to stay in it. and no one really remembers how they got there, you know, as weird hotels are. oh, and of course they cant leave intentionally- where would be the fun in that?

here at the hotel there are hotel staff and hotel guests. many qsmp characters in this au are staff but there are a handful of guests.

the (figurehead) host of the hotel is bbh in this au. to all the guests and staff he is the one calling the cards and everything. but behind closed doors? ..its a much different story. "the stars" (the federation in this au) tell bad to do all of the.. less than fortunate things but.. i think thats smth for later

now, in this hotel, everyone dies eventually. the hotel is VERY dangerous and outright deadly - and once you die you end up joining the hotel staff for eternity (a very unfortunate fate as the hotel can be quite.. boring). this is why, despite there being no direct escape, every new guests tries and hopes theyll be the one to leave and go back to wherever they came from.

idk how else to explain this but uh. im currently writing on a fic for this!!! and i love this au sm ajaja i have so many thoughts. so if anyone has any questions on character roles/characters and concepts and like anything i will gladly answer them :DD

(qcell) 1. Why do you like or dislike this character? well first of all i ADORE him :3 i dont often Rank the qsmp characters but he's one of my favorites and im confident enough to say hes usually my number one guy even....

i guess the best way i can articulate this is just that i love the Experience of witnessing the qsmp through his pov <3 i like how deliberate cc!cellbit is with his storytelling choices and it ties in with how complex qcellbit is as a character. i personally love the Sides of him we get to see throughout the story and how it relates to the chronology of the character -- the places he's been, the things he's done. how he's such a complicated person who keeps SO MUCH to himself and will only trust a select handful of people but even then almost never fully, and how this makes it so its extremely difficult from other povs to really understand why he does the things he does.

it feels IMMERSIVE and it feels like being a part of something. like being a viewer, being there to watch his every step is just really something and i fell in love with him from the very first week lol i cant lie as a brazilian i never really had a cellbit phase growing up but his qsmp D-1 vod had me hooked from the start <3

(qcell) 2. Favorite canon thing about this character? god so many jsdfhjgshkfk how devoted of a husband he is,

the way he loves children and gets surprised when they love him back

the fact he's a fussy interior designer and VERY particular about furniture choices

hard not to mention the cannibalism. big fan

theres just so much about him that i love!!!!!!!!!

(qcell) 25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now? i remember thinking he was sooooooooooo stoic and so serious! SO focused and goal-oriented! i never did think he was going to be such a major player in the big story arcs either! when cc!cellbit introduced the concept of being a photographer/investigator i mostly thought he was going to use that gimmick to explore the plot points that came before him and revisit that kind of stuff and that was it...... then he quite literally knocked it out of the park and got super mega involved with most of the active storylines of that time + created so many new story branches lol

today i see how messy he is . how LAME! i love him even more

now QROIER 25. i dont actually remember jsdjnjkkhndf i started watching roiers pov pretty early on like ever since the eggs got introduced i think and i really dont remember specifics all i know is he was so entertaining i for a while got my mom to watch his streams taking care of bobby with me on our tv

I'm always scared to do those type of analysis because I think might it really wrong, but we at the end of the day we can't get everything right and we are trying so I guess this is what matters

But I have a lot of respect to those people who do characters analysis that you can clearly see how correct it is

You can blame that anxiety for keeping me from writing things there, I've thinking about the vampire Pac headcanon and I was like, could we make this about pacman duo too? ... At this point I might learn french out of pure spite just to be able to write about him

And those people who started learning other lenguages because of it? Absolute incredible people, especial if you don't have any previous understanding of the lenguage

Like, I've remembered Duolingo was a thing other day and said "ok, why not?" And put Spanish and french, because again, why not

As native portuguese speaker, Spanish is not that hard, they are really similar

Same anon who wrote about Q disowning dream(team) bc he's problematic and therefore Q has cut ties with dream

Concerning the qsmp/usmp thing, it's been noted that Quackity was working on qsmp for about two years whereas people noticed that dream started talking about a multilingual server during the squid craft event or afterwards. (There was a post about on here or Twitter, can't remember. It included screenshots of tweets from both parties.) Which like, who cares, at the end of the day, there's now two multilingual servers, which is great.

The issue a lot of people are having is when Q announced his server, dream's response was to go "Oh cool but I'm doing something very similar and that's gonna come out soon and I'm not copying btw :)" so instead of allowing Quackity his moment to shine, dream says like five nice words but then makes most of his tweet about him. Not only that, but to make his tweet about something very similar. It's giving tactless. (Dream needs a super professional pr team or something cuz this guy needs some help with his public image like stat.)

Also, dream claiming to be the "first" (and I completely agree with that other anon who said first is basically a trigger word at this point, and aren't there already other multilingual servers?) when Quackity already had his server up and running with actual players whereas dream is still developing his server and is still trying to recruit people. Like, if your server isn't near being completed, why mention it during qsmp's server announcement/server opening? What purpose does that serve? And also, knowing his "friend" Quackity is bilingual, why wouldn't dream ask him to join his server in the making? Unless shit was going down from before the qsmp server announcement... suspicious.

That alone would lead me to be petty so I can only imagine how Quackity feels. If I were Quackity, I'd feel like what dream is doing is purposefully hurtful and I wouldn't care too much if he was being harassed for it bc you reap what you sow. Also, this is like normal for dream no?

Another thing to point out is that announcing a server similar to what another "friend" is doing is something he could've totally avoided. Shouldn't dream be concentrating on dsmp season 2? Like where is that at? Where is this new revamped server that he had everyone rush to complete their lore for?

For the record, I'm not a dranti, I literally just don't care for him at all, one way or the other. From what I've seen, I'm thoroughly on Quackity's side. No one should be getting harassed and doxxed bc it's honestly not that serious, and even if it was, that's something for Quackity and dream to sort out between themselves. Anyone who feels coocoo enough to harass cc's and their loved ones needs to do some arts and crafts or something, pick up a less dangerous hobby bruh cuz this ain't cute

i definitely can see his side as well in this whole thing, like especially if u dont know how to tell someone who is being super rly that you dint like them anymore 😭 or that u just dont wanna be friends lmao. and then in qs head it was probably like "whatever, its not my problem he came up with this idea, i will just do what i planned to do" i guess bitterness mightve probably fueled it all like i can definitely see how q thinks hes justified in thinking dream made the problem himself and it has nothing to do with q. like i said tho if dream didnt say anything on that first day q announced his smp it would have been worse when he eventually launched it i think.

ghosting being ghosting, im a ghoster too its a problem, but there comes a time where u have to get over urself and tell the overly nice clueless guy that u dont want his flowers anymore. i think dream tried his best in an awkward situation, while quackity preferred to just say "not my problem so i dint have to deal with it" which in my personal opinion is shitty af, but some ppl wont think so 🤷🏻‍♂️
