I've had a brainworm for a few days now so here me out.

After an accidental reveal gone wrong, Danny is forced to flee the country with both his parents and the giw after him. While he's trying to find some place internationally to settle down, he comes across a secluded complex.

Said complex happens to have access to an ectoplasm run off which Danny is in desperate need of. Though it has been corrupted by whatever the people of the complex have been doing to it, that's no problem for Danny as he can easily purify the portion he takes in to survive.

Deciding this is the perfect place to live off the grid, Danny sets to work figuring out how to blend in. It turns out that's the easy part. With his temporary stint as a ninja, his training with his black belt mom, and his general ghost physiology, he fits in pretty well.

He fits in so well in fact that he is told he'll be training someone one of the head bosses has their eye on. A kid his age.

Basically what follows is Danny accidentally ruining Talia's plans for Jason by unconsciously purifying his corruption and just talking him through his emotions. When Jason gets back to Gotham, he returns without a clouded mentally and realizes just how much Bruce went through after his death.

Instead of unleashing his complicated plan, he quietly takes over the underworld. He loves his father but also knows there are situations in Gotham that require a more firm hand. Jason decides to be a firm hand in his dad's place.

(I imagine he is only revealed on accident yet his reunion with his family is just as dramatic as Under the Red Hood. Tbh it probably has something to do with the joker suddenly going missing.)

Meanwhile back at the League of Assassins, Talia is impressed by Jason's training and is under the impression that his failure in Gotham is due to him getting cold feet at the last second so she puts Danny in charge of Damian's training.

Danny this time takes a more conscious role in ruining the league's brainwashing by challenging Damian's beliefs and teaching him he should use his weapons to protect, not to harm. By the time Damian gets to Wayne Manor, there is significantly less deprogramming that needs to be done.

Baek Suryong is literally just a mean-ass older brother and I love it. His relationship with Gang Heonwon is literally the funniest shit ever, 'cause he's constantly bullying him but he's also teaching him how to get stronger and also how to navigate the world in his own weird way.

Watching Gang slowly become more and more like personality-wise is hilarious, he's literally a miniature version of Suryong at this point. Their sadistic streak, violent tendencies, always looking for things to tease each other and the other students about. Oh, and they're both kinda hypocrites who've made a lot of terrible mistakes in the past and are trying to make up for it and become better people.

They literally care so much about each other. Gang wants to win the martial arts tournament because he knows it's Suryong's goal (although that's not the only reason) and he wants to repay the debt he feels he owes to Suryong. And Suryong, when he still only had him and Cheon as students, decided that he didn't just want to be the best teacher with the best track record, he also wanted to be a good teacher, different from the cruel but efficient teacher he was in the past.

Suryong also goes out of his way to protect Gang, even when he knows Gang can handle it because he doesn't want Gang to suffer on his own and it's unnecessarily sweet. He's so protective of all his students but then he'll turn around and kick their asses; he's a mean-ass older brother that constantly bullies his younger siblings into shape.

I'm pretty sure that with all the office work Namgoong Su is doing even an martial artist can't avoid the neck/back pain.

Of course being from the Namgoong family comes with some benefits and he has access to a few good masseuses. But even those aren't able to work away the pain completely.

Now as we know from the whole thing with the prime minister arc Suryong is really good at massaging.

So when Suryong sees the star instructor walking around in pain and notices it affects his martial arts even a little bit he's like, 'well that just won't do'. He comments on it(not very discreet), in his Suryong way asking if he is okay. But of course Namgoong Su takes offense and denies it.

They go back and forth for a few weeks until Suryong decides he's had enough and burst into Su's office. Being a firm believer in if you want something done right do it yourself he proceeds to push Su back down in his seat, ignoring his protests he hits all the spots right away.

As he goes on Su slowly starts to relax into it. After an hour all the knots and stiffness have been worked out. After another two Su has fallen asleep on is desk.

The massage suryong gave him was better than any he's had before. So the next time his back or any other muscle starts bothering him he goes to suryong instead of the professional masseuse. Hesitantly at first but as the years go by he just asks him up front. Even though Suryong complains about being his personal masseuse he doesn't refuse.
